If it's cardio, maybe just a bit of whey protein powder and a banana
If it's weights, then usually 1/4 to 1/2 cup oats with 1 -3 egg whites

I could have written this post - except I don't ski, I practice martial arts and I can honestly say, out of a dozen adults (10 young men) I have the best endurance (and maybe agility) and I owe it to doing Cathe's Hiit workouts.
I lucked out and found a set of 2 on the cheap at Marshall's for $9. They are the Stott Pilates ones and they are at least 6 feet long and work great. They even came with a dvd.

Love it! I was trying to explain this to my mom who doesn't do fitness. My mind is definitely my biggest enemy while running. Unfortunately where I run most is full of hills which makes my mental suffering worse.
