Yummy!!!! Hugh Jackman...eye candy...I didn't even miss my m&Ms!
I took my DH last night as he's a big fan, personally I'm not sure I've ever seen the others from start to finish, just bits & pieces, think I'll go back and watch them now!
Hugh Jackman's physique is amazing! Apparently he worked out with a natural body builder and would get up at 3;45AM to eat before his workouts. Whatever he did, it worked! It was very impressive what hard work, clean eating, and commitment can do to the human body! Maybe it will motivete my hubby! :p

I wanna eventually see this movie, too. :) (I'm a comic book geek as well as a sci fi geek)

Hugh Jackman was on Howard Stern this week and was a great interview. He said he worked out 6 six days a week for an hour a day, and sometimes an extra 1/2 hour when he was bulking. While it was not a ton of time in the gym, he said the whole hour was intense.

Oh yeah, and he was also eating something like 5000 calories a day.

Like I mentioned, I don't know the storyline very well, but my hubby said this installment really filled in a lot of missing pieces for him. I totally enjoyed it and sat through the whole thing without a bathroom break because I was too afraid too leave and miss a minute! ;)
A really enjoyable movie and definitely worth $9.50 for the scenery alone! :D

Loved the movie... though I must admit I downloaded it before seeing it at the theater.

You also get to see all the X-Men (Jean Grey, Mystique, Storm, Cyclops etc.) from the previous films in their teens... Along with Wolverine's story, you get to know Sabretooth's (Wolverine's brother, also seen in the first X-Men movie)...

Hugh Jackman had the build (remember Australia?)... then he pumped up more!!!
He was amazing at the Oscars...

OMG! I'd hate to see what 5000 calories a day would do to me! Even if I worked out intensely, I doubt I could burn off that many cals!

Of course, HJ could just stand still and I'd think it was a great performance . . . sigh . . . oh, but, I digress . . . again . . .;)

Hugh Jackson was Yummy indeed!!! His shoulders are particularly delicious! And those long legs, my, my,my!

Digressing for sure! LOL!

I too was hoping that Hugh would inspire my husband to give Cathe a try! Maybe we can get STS for our Anniversary in June and do it together!

Okay, you guys are making me want to see this movie right now (and not to catch up on X-men lore)!

Jackman is one of those actors (like Edward Norton and Christian Bale) who can look very different from one role to the next, and really get their body in fantastic shape (remember Norton in "American History X"?...yummy!)

DH always comments on ed norton in American History X.
They have similar body types and he just can not believe he was able to get that big. But I like to tell him that the camera adds 10 lbs. ...of muscle;)
That way he don't feel so bad.

Well, apparently for Hugh J., the camera also adds like 1000 pounds of hotness, because he was totally en fuego. But otherwise the movie was pretty lame. But, as others have pointed out, who cares? :p

You guys are cracking me up! I GOT TO GO SEE IT! DH is a huge X-Men fan so I'll try to watch the movie besides looking at Hugh! :p

LOL!!!
Ah, yes, let's all take a moment to pause and consider the gift from the gods that is Hugh Jackman. *sigh* :D
I'm so excited to see the flick-- both DH & I are total sci fi/comic book geeks. DH has always been a huge X-men fan, waaaaaay before the movies and Wolverine was always his favorite. The fact that I get to look at Hugh for a couple of hours is definitely an added bonus! :D

Hey Becky,
Glad to see you loved the movie!! Now I too want to make a better effort to go see it. Maybe for Mother's Day! We have a great little theater that only charges $5 compared to your $9.50 OUCH!! Now that I know I can forgo my M&M's it makes it even better!

It is amazing the way we can transform our bodies when we put our minds to it!! The mention of 5000 calories a day!! WOW  I would be eating non-stop! Sure would be tough to go back to a regular eating day though

I thought the same thing! I usually don't pay to see movies in the theaters unless they get 3 or more stars, but I would have seen this even if it got half a star!
