What makes Cathe, well...Cathe??

Tough Q...

If you had to choose one reason above all else that you choose to work out with Cathe, what would it be?? I thought about this myself before posting this.

For me, it's all about getting the most out of your exercise time. Cathe makes no promises, the hour a day you give her, you're going to work. In the fitness realm, I can't think of a worse feeling than feeling like I've blown an hour doing nothing. Not so with Cathe...no games, no-nonsense, which I love!

There are other reasons, but this one is my #1.

I agree with what you said also...

She doesn't make silly promises. I never heard Cathe tell me I will lose 10 lbs in 10 mins by working out with her. She says "You get out of it what you put into it" Which is completely true. You gotta "work, work" to get results! No fluff and stuff and silly hoo-haa.

And she seems real. She doesn't look like Barbie hoppin' and boppin' on my TV and doesn't seem to fake happiness and enthusiasm. She looks like is working (and she is) not just telling me what to do and then wandering around the TV giving me form pointers.

Aw heck, she's just special!

Because she works out with me the whole time and motivates me to dig deeper.

Just when I am yelling "no" to the tv, she says "oh yes you can" or "just a couple more" and somehow I CAN. She makes me be proud of myself.
 
I think it would be the confidence she gives me when she pushes me to do what I thought I never could. ;)

ITA with the fact that you don't waste your time when you do a Cathe workout. But what keeps me coming back over and over is her personality. She's so natural. I just love spending time with her.
 
ITA with the "I sure felt that workout" factor, she keeps up on the latest ways of training, she sweats and works out just like the rest of us, she is motivating, but . . .

I just think she is so doggone "cute" no matter what she does. I love her smile, friendliness, her high energy and the fact that her workouts are mostly advanced.

Most times I venture in a different direction (other than Coach Sean) I find myself not quite as happy with my workout. I do like variety, but prefer to use my time wisely.

Same here, She is so cute and friendly and everything she does is good, I have a friend that she said I'm in love with Cathe! no body like her to kick my butt.. and I love her 1 hour workout no 10 min or 30 min. I know I have to work harder if I want results.

Cathe's workouts are great! I know I will get a good, honest, & tough workout when I workout with Cathe. I love that she does the entire workout with us -- and I know I am using heavier weights because of her.

She motivates me a lot!

And if you do what Cathe says, you see amazing results.

She is GENUINE ... I feel like she is right there with me working out, pushing me to work harder.

Her cueing is spot on, and her workouts are challenging. When are you are finished with a Cathe workout you feel like you just finished a serious workout!

I like, no love Cathe because she takes it up a notch (ot two) from everyone else! As my dh always says "you get what you pay for" & hers is definately worth it!!!
 
Have you ever noticed how you start to think, say, "my wrists are getting weak", and the next instant Cathe will say "don't forget to keep those wrists straight", or you feel your shoulders start to drop and Cathe says "keep those shoulders back". She always seems to be right there at the exact moment you need her to instruct you. Kind of like she is in the room with you, watching what you're doing! :) More than anything, it's her emphasis on good form that keeps me coming back for more!
 
Ditto with all of the posters above. I have tried multiple times to use other workout tapes and ALWAYS find my way back to Cathe. I think the results from her workouts is enough proof for me. She knows what she is doing, she has evolved over the years and she produces workouts which allow me to sweat in the comfort of my own home.

ITA! This is why I love her so much. That and she kicks my A$$ every single workout, even when I don't feel like doing it. Yesterday was a prime example. I was scheduled to do ME and did not feel I had it in me. I turned it on, did the warm up and suddenly I found the strength and motivation to do the workout all out, and added heavier weight in some sections. She is amazing!
