We're In This Together **Sept**

Marie
The pics are absolutely beautiful! Breckin is such a sweetheart :). You look great BTW. I have the same pic of me, Mark and Bella at the hospital and I looked like crapolla, all swollen and miserable.
I'm so happy breast feeding is going well for you!
About the ab soreness, this will go away sooner than you know it! Every week will get better. Trust me, you don't want to strain yourself post-partum, so take it easy, let the muscle recover and stitches heal. I know 6-weeks sounds like a lot of time, but really it's not. Eat well and try to get plenty of rest whenever you can. I remember being on this emotional high that I didn't even want to sleep.
Take care, and thanks so much for posting the pics of your beautiful baby boy. ENJOY EVERY MINUTE. Before you know it, you'll have a child that farts on your leg and calls seagulls little a**holes (well hopefully not ;)).

BBL!

Marie- He looks beautiful!! :D I'm so glad breastfeeding is going well, too. Especially after a tough birth and having to undergo C-section, it's so nice you aren't having to struggle too much with that! Definitely take it easy these 6 weeks. You have plenty of time to get back at it! I'm so happy for you and Tony! :)

As for me, this weekend was a bit of a wash out on the workout front. I took Friday off (planned), then on Saturday I did manage to get Ellen Barret's Power Fusion and 3 sections (for 30 minutes) of 10 minute solution's Quick Sculpt Pilates. Then Sunday, I planned to do yoga or at least an Ellen but didn't manage to get anything in, and now today I didn't workout either. Yikes! I definitely plan to kick things back into gear tomorrow with Kettlebell Kickboxing. :)

Yesterday we went to a local apple orchard with the kids. It was a beautiful day for it and the kids had a good time. It's so funny, because we had these people move in next door in July and they have this little girl (Linda) who is 5 (same as Lydia). Well, Lydia only plays with her a little bit for some reason, but Dylan and Linda play together a lot more! Her and her mom came to the apple orchard with us, and Linda keeps following Dylan, asking him to hold her hand and wanting to sit next to him on the hayride! LOL I think we have a little crush developing!

Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight. I've had such trouble falling asleep lately! It seems to be getting worse! :( On Saturday night, I couldn't fall asleep until 4:00 a.m. if you can believe it! So, even though I enjoyed yesterday, I was pretty tired. Last night was a little better but it still took a good hour and a half to drift off. I never had insomnia until the last few years...I always slept like a rock. My mom has terrible insomnia and sleeping problems, although a lot of it is due to her lack of schedule (her body clock is all messed up). I'm just paranoid that I'm going to end up like her! I really really don't want to be one of those people that has to take sleeping pills!!! My mom is totally addicted to Ambien, and I swear that stuff is just nasty! Okay, enough rambling....

Have a great Monday everybody!!

Hello Buff Beauties!!!!

Marie- OMG Breckin is SO adorable, I wish I could come through the computer screen and hold him! Just looking at those pictures warms my heart, newborns are so special and precious! I am so glad that you are so happy! That is awesome that he is sleeping well for you :) I hope that continues! You guys make for one good lookin' family! Rest up! Don't worry, like Natty said 6 weeks will be gone before you know it. Take it easy and just enjoy yourself enjoying Breckin :D

Natty- WTG on the walk and Ripped and Chiseled! I am sorry she did not live up to Cathe standards! That is certainly tough to do, Cathe is so professional and always emphasizes good form! Sorry about another fish :( :(an aquarium sounds like a lot of work! Yes I did see the pic of Bob after his WOD! You know it was a good one if it wore him out! BTW you cracked me up about before you know it your child will be calling seagulls @$$holes lol it is a fitting name for them! ;) Addie will be Pippi Longstocking for Halloween :D I think it will be super cute! I hope she will be patient enough for me to braid her pigtails :p What about Bella?

Colleen- WTG on Power Fusion and Pilates! It is always difficult for me to squeeze in workouts on the weekends as well! Don't sweat it, you have always been GREAT at working out on the weekdays, I think it's awesome that you get up early and make time to get the job done :D That takes a lot of dedication! That is SO super sweet about Linda and Dylan!!!! I bet you couldn't stop smiling, how cute is young "love" :) Glad you had a great time at the apple orchard, that sounds like a perfect family outing, I wish we had one near here! I am so sorry that you are having trouble sleeping! That is the worst :( I hope it gets better, I don't know if this is of any help to you, but I read somewhere that eating a handful of sunflower seeds before bed can help you sleep as they contain tryptophan (like in turkey). Sending wishes for a restful nights sleep your way!!!

Jen- Glad the married guy has stopped bugging you! WTG on CSS and Afterburn!! I hope you hear some good news soon!

Sarah- Hope all is well!

As for me, Saturday I did the "WOD" at the gym:

Four rounds for time:
Prowler Push 25 meters (140,70)
7 Power Cleans (155,85)
7 Ab Mat Burpees
I finished in 10:51  I saw on the board that someone finished in 4:31!!! I was like WTH are you superman/woman??? lol How is that even possible??
The power cleans wore me out! I could hardly do the fourth set, and my back is still bothering me
Yesterday I did 100 sit ups, 100 air squats and 25 push-ups, nothing special, I was planning on it being a rest day, but got antsy so I wanted to do a little something :p
Today I think I'm going to practice my kettlebell swings and squeeze in some Butt Bible if I have some spare time before Addie wakes up.
I will be back at the gym tomorrow :)

I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon and evening!
-Rebekah

Hello Friends.

Marie, your Breckin is so beautiful!! Be sure to tell him about all of his Aunts here. Like everyone else mentioned, the 6 weeks go by fast so enjoy time having your body recover.

Colleen, apple orchards and hot cider with donuts are my thing. Huge orchards by me with a gift shop, well known in the county. During the summer, they let mountain bikers ride on unused land. Crush?? Yes, my first one was 1st grade. Try Green Tea or Sleepy time Tea or warm milk to help you sleep.

Rebekah, 100 sit ups, 100 air squats and 25 push ups!! Wow!!

Natty, Seagulls are flying rodents and I believe protected species on the Great Lakes. Who does Chiseled and Ripped? Is she from Biggest Loser?

Sarah, Hope everything is OK.

My day, for some reason, I feel totally wiped out. Yesterday, I cranked out studying, homework, blog and workout. Today, I couldn't decide on which Cathe workout which is part of the reason I didn't do it. Maybe, CCC or HR. Love those.
For dinner, I have spaghetti made with Angus beef (low fat), whole grain noodles, par cheese and Prego. My breakfast lately has been whole grain waffles, low fat butter and low sugar syrup. With the phone app, I am more aware of my caloric intake.
Hoping for good news with the company I interviewed last week but I've had so many good interviews that didn't fly so numb with this.

I'm back :D

Yesterday felt like a day of luxury for me. I had the whole afternoon to myself [insert ahhh feeling here]. I was able to take a quick nap, do Step Blast (ok, hands down my fav Cathe step workout!) and prepare my veggies (IN PEACE) for the fajitas I made.

Today is a beautiful Fall day with above seasonal temps (no jackets required!) so I went out with Bella to the park and then we walked around the neighborhood to look at Halloween decor. I was SO disappointed to see not very many houses decorated, not even pumpkin's . In my old neighborhood which is only a 1 minute drive, every house is decorated to the max. It's kinda like a competition to see which house looks the best.

I don't know what workout I will be doing today. I'm still DOMS'ing from Sat, so I may just have to do some cardio. I was thinking Triple Tabata or hiit 30/20 from TTM.

I downloaded Push/Pull and will do that as part of my monthly rotation. Jari has got to go :(.

Colleen
I'm so sorry about the insomnia issues. I know how you feel because I have been experiencing insomnia since Bella turned 1 1/2. For me it was a combination of her getting up at night and not being able to return to sleep, as well as a lot of stress in my life at that time. I was so desperate to sleep that my aunt slipped me a few sleeping pills, in which I would only take 1/2 pill every few nights so I would not get dependent. Unfortunately, I still take Melatonin every other day, as well as a herbal nighttime supplement called Sleep MD 1-3X/week. Sleep deprivation is absolutely horrible. I hope you find relief soon, and I'm sure it won't be an ongoing problem.
Apple picking is so much fun! Glad you guys had a good time :).

Rebekah
Awww, what a cute character Addie will be dressed up as for Halloween. Bella wants to be a Princess or Fairy . I'm all like "can you pick a more original costume PLEASE!!!". But whatever, this will be her first time being one so I guess it will have to do .
I'm thinking I might want to try spinning classes at my local gym. TBH, I'm scared. I would be going alone and I've never spinned before. I know 5 minutes in and my quads will give out. That's why I really wanted a spin bike at home so I could practice.
WTG on the WOD! You are awesome, I don't care what "time" you finish!

Jen
WTG on getting back into Cathe and doing CSS :).
I'm glad the married man problem has been resolved.
LOL, ghetto hood! I've been to lots of those :D. The worst though was when we had to stop off at Buffalo while going to Darien Lake a few years ago. I honestly thought we were going to get robbed and killed, it was that scary!
Hope you have a good week :).

Have a good one fit ladies!

So...today I did Kettlebell Kickboxing Power and Diversity. Unfortunately, some of the brief plank type stuff seemed to irritate my right shoulder again. I'm so dang bummed. I think this means I'm going to have to shelve Horizontal Conditioning for longer than I thought or hoped. I was planning to get back to it starting on Sunday but my hope is waning. Thank goodness XTrain is coming so I have something to get excited about again!

Tomorrow I have a date with Cathe! I plan to do the Crossfire premix with the circuit blast and firewalker tabata, skip the cool down and then do the lower body portion of Trisets (minus that warm up). I figure those two together minus the cool down/warm up should take me about 50-55 minutes or so. I'm thinking that'll make a cool combo! :D

I think I will focus on lower body and kettlebells (without the plank/bodyweight stuff) for awhile until XTrain arrives on my doorstep. I really hope this shoulder thing doesn't crimp my workout style!

Rebekah- For Halloween, Dylan decided to be a ninja (the karate thing is already influencing him!) and Lydia decided to be a princess...for the third year in a row! Actually, last year we started as a princess, but then when the dress ripped I had to run out and get her a Supergirl costume. That was super cute. :) She was so funny, I tried to convince her to be a witch or something and she was all "I don't want to be anything creepy!" LOL Also, all the other outfits she liked that weren't princessess tended to be, shall I say, on the skimpy side? I couldn't believe how many little girl costumes verged on inappropriate to me. I mean, I'm not a prude, but I don't want my little girl looking even remotely "sexy"!

Natty- Ahhh, those days all to yourself are just heavenly aren't they? I have my bimonthly alone day coming on Friday. I soooo look forward to those! I hear you on the lack of Halloween decorating. I've gotten so lazy about decorating! I used to love Halloween especially and go all out, but now I'm just like "eh"..don't feel like it. We used to have huge Halloween costume parties every year, too but haven't now for at least 2 years. We've had so much family turmoil that last 2 years with my sister, Mark's sister and brother and mom...it just got to be too much bother.

Have fun with push/pull! I really need to get that disc out, I always forget about that one and Supersets! I think I'm going to do more weight training since HC is sort of out for awhile.

Jen- I'm so proud of you too for getting back into your Cathe workouts! :D I'm crossing my fingers for you on the interview. :)

Hi Sarah and Marie! Hope everything is still going great for you guys!

TTYL

TX is on the hot seat again. The clincher would be getting a job plus letter of intent from the employer. Denton north of DFW.
Almost thought I was to lose my unemployment because of my class but I got praised for it. I put training online and it flagged my account.
No news yet from others.

Hello!!!

Jen- WTG on the Cathe workouts, I hope you hear some good news from the new potential employer :)

Colleen- Awesome job on Kettlebell Kickboxing! I'm sorry about your shoulder! :( I hope it starts feeling better very soon! I know how much you love HC! I'm glad you have Xtrain to look forward to though, she sure is teasing us on FB! Your Crossfire and Trisets combo sounds great! That is so cute about Dylan being a Ninja and Lydia being a princess :) Please take some pictures for us! :) I can't blame her for not wanting to be anything creepy :p I hear you on the "skimpy" costumes though! It drives me nuts when I see even regular little girls clothes like that!

Natty- WTG on Step Blast and having an afternoon to yourself!!! Those are wonderful for our sanity aren't they? :) Bella would be so cute as a princess or a fairy :) I hope you guys have a great time trick-or-treating! Please take pics as well :) You should definitely go for the spin class! I think you'll love it! It is nice to be around other people who are "in" to fitness and have a similar mindset. It is also nice to get a break from the SAHM stint too, of course! Please keep us posted if you go!

As for my WOD yesterday we did:
For time…
10 Tire Flips (330lbs)
5 Snatch (155lbs/105lbs)
10 Push Press (155lbs/105lbs)
10 Front Squat (155lbs/105lbs)
10 High Pulls (155lbs/105bs)
20 Back Extensions
40 Push Ups
50 Double Unders
I used the "girly" tire  I don't know the actual weight of it, but it was definitely still heavy to me! I also only used 55 lbs for the barbell work  The snatch was very difficult, It was frustrating because I could have used more weight for the squat, pull, and push press, but you had to use the same weight for all. I stunk it up on the push-ups, by the last 10 I had to take a break after each one  It was pretty embarassing. I am surprised my arms did not fall off :p
I finished in 16:11, I did finish ahead of one guy, it was nice not to be dead last for once! They are driving my bonkers with the double unders though, they use them all the time, and since I can't do them yet, every time they "Rx" 50 double unders, you have to do 160 regular jump ropes :confused::confused:
That is definitely motivation to learn them!
I don't know what I'm going to do today, I really need to do some Yoga and stretch, it is TTOTM so I don't have the motivation for much more TBH I hope that doesn't sound too lazy! These crazy work outs leave me sore for days!
I also wanted to share that they aren't good AT ALL at making sure you cool down and stretch. 90% of the people there just take off as soon as they write their time on the board, it drives me crazy! That is not good
Oh well, enough of that :p

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
-Rebekah

Happy Hump Day!

Monday's w/o was hiit DWP (forgot how tough it was!). Yesterday's w/o was Push/Pull (it was on the easy side! I matched Cathe in all her weight #'s) + STS TB add-on's (love those add-on's!). Total time 55min or so. I really like Push/Pull, but it was lacking a tad in the Bi's department. The whole workout only comes in at 45min, and since I had time to spare, I figured why not do a little more :D. That's where the add-on's really come in handy! I'm not sure how the format is with DVD, but for downloads I have 2 separate files in addition to the regular STS TB workout.

Colleen
I'm so sorry about your shoulder issues :(. Jennifer (from my other check-in) had the same problem. She is ok now, but it took her a few weeks to get back into UB weight training. She also had to put aside HC. I hope you recover quick. Lots of healing vibes coming your way {{{}}}.
I like the combo you made! How did it turn out?
I agree about little girl clothing becoming too sexy for my liking. I won't even have Bella wearing a Bikini at the beach. Can you believe 90% of the bathing suits at Walmart were Bikini style! I was so peeved and disgusted! Little girls her age should be in a one-piece IMO.

Rebekah
I look at your WOD, and automatically start to feel DOMS :D. Are you ravishing afterwards? Are you noticing results?
I have to admit my dirty little secret, I usually bail on the stretch afterwards . I don't think I've even seen a full Cathe stretch segment . Bad me, I know.
Thanks for the encouraging words about the spin class. I know I can do it, I'm just a little scared. I'm super jealous of Sarah who can spin anytime her heart desires.

Jen
Hope you get some good news this week!

Sarah
How did the demolition go? I hope you are doing ok.

Marie
Hope the first week with Breckin is going well :).

Have a good one ladies!

My combo today with the Crossfire premix and lower body Trisets was the bomb! Perfect combination of endorphins and lower body work! Trisets lower body never fails to give me sweet glute DOMS, so I'm looking forward to that tomorrow. You guys wanna hear something silly? Every time I do a high intensity workout where I feel that rush of endorphins I always get that song in my head after: "Owww! I feel good! nanananana, I knew that I would now! nananana!" LOL Makes me want to dance a little! :p

My shoulder feels a little better today than yesterday, but I need to rest it for a good long while I think. It dawned on me today that I was totally fine doing the HC's twice a week, but when I tried to push it to 3 times a week that's where I got in trouble. I think 3 times is too much, at least for me, for that kind of workout. Plus, since a lot of my workouts include some kind of shoulder work (whether it be brief planks, push ups or shoulder presses), I was pretty much working my shoulders every day there for awhile. Whoops!...and "duh"! Lesson learned!
I honestly can't wait to get back to the HC workouts...I swear I feel my middle getting softer and weaker already! :( I've been trying to include traditional ab work and pilates but it just doesn't quite do it like HC did.

Rebekah- wow they make you use the same weight for the snatch as the other exercises? When I snatch, the most I can do is 20 lbs, but I usually stick to 15 lbs. That's a tough exercise and I don't want to hurt myself! I would definitely include the stretching after. I'm suprised they don't do that. When I exclude stretching, I always pay for it. Last winter I got really bad about skipping the cool down because I was always running out of time. If I don't stretch my hips, hamstrings and calves my knees pay for it. I'm a little bad about stretching my upper body, though.

Natty- I feel so bad about Jennifer! Is she okay? Did it happen right away for her or was she doing it too much like me? IIRC, she had a previous shoulder injury, I think? Is she going to try incorporating HC again in the future? I agree about Push/Pull being more intermediate, although that's not a bad thing. It's one reason I was thinking about pulling it out while my shoulder heals! Good luck with the spinning! :D

Hi Marie, Sarah and Jen! Hope you guys are doing well!

TTYL!

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I enjoyed a nice 3 mile walk with Bella. My workout in the evening was Jillian Yoga Meltdown, which I forced myself to do. I was not in a Yoga mood, but I'm glad I went through with it.

Today is another walk outside. My aunt is visiting, and so I'm forcing her to walk with me :D. The temps have been unbelievable! No complaints of course. My workout this evening will be 4DS Bootcamp cardio + STS Legs W2 bonus section only. I've decided to add LB floor work every week, and the STS bonus sections are amazing for that! Short, sweet and OWIE! I've noticed since doing Barre & Floor work regularly, my hammies are tightening up nicely. I also love the way it works the inner/outer thighs (I need help in those area's!). My ultimate goal will be to get through any type of floor work without crying.

Colleen
Funny about the singing :D. I do that too, but the song usually includes swear words . Did I mention I love rap :D.
Shoulder's are very seceptable to injury it seems. I remember when doing STS, I was in the middle of a pull-over, and my shoulder popped! I think it might have slighly left the socket or something . Thank goodness I felt no pain, and was ok the next day, but man was I scared! I've been afraid to do a pull-over ever since :(.
No, Jennifer is ok. She only did 1 HC I think when it happened, but I don't think it was HC related. Toni is getting results already! Funny, I'm even the slightest bit tempted to do an HC. I saw the clips...and well...you know me with plank stuff [insert throw-up dude here]. But I'm so happy you guys are getting such amazing results with it!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone

Quick check in while breast feeding B! He is doing soooo well :)

I'm doing great too! Loving every moment :)

Read the posts....glad to catch up with everyone.

Typing one handed since I'm feeding so just a quick post.

Marie- Hello! So good to hear from you :) Glad Breckin is doing well! I remember the days of doing everything with one hand lol hope you are able to get some rest!

Natty- Wow! Awesome job on the walk, yoga, push pull, HiiT DWP and STS TB add-ons! You were definitely doing some "work, work!" :D
Yes I am ravishing afterwards! Muscles worked until complete fatigue and starving! That is a recipe for a grumpy mom lol
I feel like it has also made me hungrier in general, I have been eating lots of apples here and there throughout the day! Maybe my body is still adjusting to the new "diet".
I am seeing results already, my shoulders, biceps, and back look more defined, I doubt it is different enough for some one else to notice but I am pleased so far :)
I used to bail on stretch as well, but I like Colleen, would notice the next day. I feel like it takes me days longer to get over the DOMS if I don't stretch those puppies out afterwards!
I am looking forward to hearing about spinning! I have never done it either. You will LOVE having a new challenge!

Colleen- WTG on Crossfire premix and Trisets LB!!! That sounds like a good one, I bet you were feeling good nananananana! :D That is too funny! I think we all have our little inner mantras! I often think of the Fresh Beat Band (NickJr.) song "You can do anything you put your mind to" lol that is so super embarassing for me to admit haha but it makes me laugh and gives me a little boost! Like Natty I often am mumbling some not so nice words as well! Especially when I see double unders are on the board :p
I'm very happy to hear your shoulder is feeling better! Please do continue to rest it, I know it's hard, especially when your itching to return to HC. And I am sure your mind is just playing games with you, your middle is as tight and toned as usual! Remember you are a hard bodied hot momma ;) You will be back at it before you know it! Yes I was also surprised about the snatch weight Tuesday, they prescribe such heavy weight for everything! It makes me feel like a total pansy because I used half as much  The coach I had that day is one of only two women to EVER complete the snatch ladder at the games, she can snatch 185 lbs!!! That is insane! It was super embarassing for her to watch me grimace and struggle with my measly 55 lbs

Hope all is well Sarah and Jen!!!

As for me this was todays WOD:
Overhead Squat 3 reps, 8 sets ====> I used 55 lbs
Super tough! My shoulders were and still are spent!
Then we had a "smoker"
3 rounds for time…
20 KB Swings (24kg)
20 Sledgehammer Strikes (10lbs)
^ Finished in 5:51!! :D
I finally had a good time for once :p I beat two college-age guys, and it felt awesome lol

I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon and evening!
-Rebekah

Hello Friends,

Happy Friday Eve!!

Marie-GREAT to hear from you!! Glad you're loving the time you're spending with your little guy. Hope you're recovering with plenty of sleep and eating well.

Natty-That is amazing Miss Bella can do a 3 mile walk. She understands how important taking care of oneself is. Cool that you made your Aunt walk with you. One of mine would, the other can't walk 10 steps. Her weight has been on a roller coaster for years.

Colleen-Congrats on CrossFire!! Music in my head never goes away. Great job on the workouts!

Update: No word yet from my interview from last week, I'm expecting a dreaded letter any minute. I was supposed to hear today. Also, I got pass through the first screening from a company in Detroit for a position in DFW, the northern most part of it. I would be 20 minutes north of Natalie, who used to be in our group. A property management company is still interested in my house too.
17 months post-employment in MI, I don't believe my future employer is here. I think I've applied to every company here and some in Detroit. Might check out Ford or Chrysler for positions in TX but many companies are laying off right now. Scary.
Right now, taxes and possibly this job.
Thanks for letting me share. This journey seems like it'll never end. Thought I was going to lose my UIA this week too because of the class.

Hi everyone. I've been cheating, I still read all your posts but just haven't had the time to do my own.

I've been working on the girls room non-stop. Hopefully this will be done soon.

I loved being able to see pictures of Breckin.

Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say a quickie Hello.

Sarah

Marie
So glad breastfeeding is going well! Hope you enjoy your day with unconditional love and poopie diapers :D. I miss those itty bitty Newborn Pampers :(.

Rebekah
Congrats on the results! I'm sure you look hot ;)
WTG on beating the two college guys! I'm sure they loved that :D.
I loved your WOD! Do you do that stuff outdoor or indoor?

Jen
No, Bella can't do a 3 mile walk. It's more like: walk, sit in stroller, walk, sit in stroller, walk, sit in stroller. So when I say Bella and I went for a walk, that's what it consists of :D.
It's sucks that you can't even find a job in your own State :(. And you are working SO HARD to find employment, that's the real kicker. Is there a State right beside MI that you could investigate, not necessarily Texas? I have no idea how job opportunities exist in the good ol' USA, just wondering.

Colleen
The Walking Dead :eek::eek:. Love this season so far!!!! Dexter is awesome too :eek:.

My w/o yesterday was a 5 mile walk + 4DS Bootcamp + STS Legs W3 Bonus leg drills only + STS extended stretch (1st time doing that!). After my walk, I indulged in a Vachon Flakie . It's been 1 year since I had that bad boy :p. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!!

Have a great Friday!

Happy Friday ladies!

Still trying to rest my shoulder, which makes picking out a dvd kind of harder than I thought! I didn't realize how many of my workouts have at least some plank, push up or shoulder work until this week! I've been having ot stick to mostly cardio. Yesterday I did Cardio Supersets with the bonus step premix but of course I had to modify the parts that went to plank. I decided to just bounce on my rebounder when those parts came up. I did jump rope, jacks and tuck jumps on the rebounder during quite a few parts. Today I think I'm going to do Michelle Dozois Peak 10 Cardio Interval Burn. IIRC, that one is strictly vertical throughout! ;)

Remember that combo I did Wednesday with the CF premix and TBT lower? Well, let me tell you guys...if lower body DOMS is what you want, you HAVE to try that!   Two days out and I'm still having trouble sitting on the toilet! LOL Crazy! :D

Natty- OMG, I am becoming obsessed with Walking Dead this season! Dexter is good, too of course but I'm starting to really love Rick on WD this season. I always loved the show and his character before, but is it just me or is he wicked sexy this season? :D I'm so glad he's finally got Lori's number, too. ;) What did you think of the Extended Stretch? I'm starting to think I might want to get Cathe's Stretch Max, actually. Not that I need anymore dvds!

Marie- Awesome on the breastfeeding success! :D I loved breastfeeding! I was so sad when it was time to wean. I wanted to make it to a full year with the kids but once they got teeth, the little buggers started to bite! I wound up having to wean them at 9 months because I couldn't get them to stop. Every time they would do it, I'd jump and react and they would giggle like it was the funniest thing they'd every seen. Stinkers!

Sarah- Hi!!! No problem with popping in for a quick drive by post! Hope to hear more from you soon once stuff calms down for you! Are you getting any workouts in?

Jen- Have you looked anymore into Wisconsin? You wouldn't be too far from me then! ;)

Rebekah- Great job on the WOD and beating the two guys! Whoo hoo! :p
That's awesome you're getting results, too! It's definitely crucial to feed the hunger monster to accomodate all that new muscle growth! :D Are you still sticking to the Paleo?

Bye for now! :)

Hi Friends,

Quick note so I will catch up with personals on Sunday.
Tomorrow, I get to hang out with my Mom. We haven't done it since spring.
No word on the Detroit company/Dallas job till Monday. Plus, rejection letter from another interview.
It's my intuition having me move forward with DFW. Contacted a realtor about my situation cause they might be able to help and are well connected.

Quickie post then BBL!

Yesterday's w/o was a combo of BM2 + Low Max. Fun, fun, fun, fun!

So I was reading Cathe's response to what "diet" she recommends with Xtrain. No surprise that she said Paleo. Since I watch The Daily Dose weekly, I came across Jillian's take on it (which is not good/bad). I feel confident now that since I won't be doing Paleo anytime soon, I can still get results with a healthy, balanced diet, which includes grains and beans. You guys know me, I just cannot restrict foods from my life. Especially since my go-to is Asian Cuisine, and well it just ain't the same without rice :p;).

Here is the link just in case you guys want to check it out:
