We're in This Together (March 2013)

Ok, now personals :)

Colleen
Poor Lydia :(. I hope it's not a stomach bug and just an upset tummy from something she ate. How is she doing today?
I love the warm-up for B&G! I wonder why Cathe never uses the stab ball on any of her other warm-ups . I forgot to mention that I did the standing + floor. The floor work nearly took me out! Not as hard as Gym Style, but pretty damn close.
About being able to stream youtube w/o's, you should totally try to do this! I love the w/o's on youtube! Best part is THEY ARE FREE. I found Chris Freytag on there, and now I see her w/o's on Collage. She is pretty awesome . I did her youtube kickboxing w/o and was thoroughly impressed!

Marie
I'm happy to hear B is feeling better :). Yes, hold them as much as you possibly can while they are still so small. And don't feel bad about taking time off to relax. You recently gave birth to a human being, remember? For the first year of Bella's life, I think I only spent 3X/week working out. The rest of the time was me adjusting to the demands of motherhood. All I could think about was eating and sleeping, TBH.
YA for Puerto Rico! So happy for you! Us Canadians don't frequent Puerto Rico often, so I have never been, and I don't know anyone who has :(. Our hot spots are Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahama's, Aruba. My advice would be to learn a few "key" Spanish words and you'll be fine ;). Also, don't expect the food (or standards) to be like North America. Once you accept this, you'll have a great vacation .

Sarah
You gotta try all those PB flavors! OMG they are quite heavenly :p.
I love how you are kicking butt and taking names with your w/o's these past weeks . Pull-ups, chin-ups, hiit, sprints, walks .
I think you should get TJ a snake . I used to think they were a bit freaky, but now I think they are SO cool! Also, I don't want to rain on Bella's parade. She is utterly fascinated with animals, and I want to encourage that.
Hope you sleep better tonight :).

Jen
No need to convince me how tough packing is! Moving and packing is probably the hardest w/o ever! (after snow shoveling of course).
Yes, please post pics of the new place :). Besides the usual anxiety and stress that comes with moving, I think you are going to be (and do) just fine. The job economy sounds so much better in TX than in MI, so that's a huge plus in your favor!

Have a great night ladies :)

Good Sunday Morning, Friends!!

Natty. Hope you got some sleep last night. There are nights, I'm up all night cause when I close my eyes, a bad dream keeps coming back. Great job on the workout!

Colleen. Good choice to take a rest day when Lydia is sick although not much rest for you. Our weather, changing for the better, from 25 to above 39 consistent. It'll get me on the plane with this trend.

Marie. Love steak! Great benefit. Used to be vegitarian but reversed back. Intensity is great workout!

Sarah. 40/20. Never done. Certain DVDs, I only do certain stuff. Love your recipes that you post. They all sound delicious.

Update:
Move seems serile. It's dominating my conversations right now although I don't mind talking about other stuff too. Decided what to do with 3 of 3/4 full boxes. Living room furniture gone. 28 days away. When I signed up, I knew 2 months of craziness.
Had Cartinas yesterday afternoon with a high-end Smores dessert at this concept restaurant of a local chain steak house. Plus, had a couple of beers. Aunt Flo is came way early this month, due result of stress.
My "friend" is no longer communicating with me on FB unless its a slam. So, he's hurt. Would it be better I foreclose on my home and default while he decides to ask me out? I think not. Encouraging someone on Twitter who lives in NJ near Philly. Trying to find out if she's part of CatheNation. Her story is like mine but cannot relocate for various reasons.

Quickie check in!

Last night we had Mark's work Christmas party (they always do it in March). It was pretty fun actually! There was a drag show in the hotels banquet room next door so I went with the wives and we snuck over there while the guys played pool after dinner. LOL It was pretty entertaining! :p

Today I'm planning on doing HC Bootcamp. The last time I did this one was the day before we left for Mexico. Gotta make the kids some breakfast now. My sister watched the kids last night and we kept the nieces over night when they left. I always make a big breakfast with french toast, bacon and scrambled eggs when they come over. :)

TTYL!

Colleen - I to just got done making a big big breakfast. My son had a friend over and my niece stayed as well. So I made Cloudcakes and bacon. I love bacon had to have one piece. I didn't want to have the cloudcakes because then I would have missed my oatmeal. So while I had will power I put some PB on the remaining cloucakes and had one bite and gave the rest to Sam the dog. OMG I'm so glad I did before I could even think about it. The PB was melting and dripping out the warm sandwiched cloudcakes. I died and went to heaven and I think the dog did too. She licked the rug for about 10 minutes after they were long gone. I might have resorted to licking the rug too if I still wasn't to sore to bend over still. Damn those hammies are tender.

Sarah

Hi everyone :)

It was so balmy yesterday! Bella and I went for a lovely 45min walk. She is getting better at walking the majority of the time instead of sitting in her stroller and alternating walking/sitting.

I HAVE to share with guys a premix I made in my blender that has surrendered my entire LB in severe DOMS mode. I call it the Low Impact Ode To The Firewalker . This mix & match alternates AB drills (leg intensive cardio/no planks exercises) with firewalker, stab ball, and discs segments from XT, AT, S&G . OMG MERCY! And I'm proud to say that since I've been doing so many evil stab ball roll-ins, I am now able to do them with one leg high in the air AND keep up with Cathe. That mix was about 40min. And then I did 15min of this:
Exercise TV 10 lb Slimdown Lower Body - YouTube
I want to give credit to Chris Freytag cuz' she is AWESOME! Next time I will do the entire 50min w/o. I'm seriously considering buying her w/o's from Collage, she is that good!

Marie
Power Max IMO is more athletic-type step (when compared to Step Blast or STep Moves), but with some complex step choreo added. Combo 3 with the 360 around the step still gives me a hard time. Do you have any of Cathe's oldies like Step Jam? I want to get those too!

Jen
You are going at a great pace with your packing! I can't believe you did all that and still have 28 days to go!

Colleen
Glad you had fun at Mark's Xmas party! The drag show sounds like something I would love. Wait, is it the same type of drag I am thinking of? Where men dress as woman?

Sarah

I've never had a cloudcake in my life! There are some foods from the US that I have always wanted to try :p. Like over here, it's not customary to put chips on our hamburger's. I've seen Bobby Flay do it so many times and I drool like heck :p.

Have a great day ladies!

Hello ladies!

Well, yesterday afternoon about 3:00 Lydia's stomach virus decided to tackle me and beat me up. :( Luckily, like Lydia it was short lived it seems. I'm feeling much better today. :) Is it just me or does it seem like there have been a lot of stomach viruses in the past 5 years or so? I don't remember ever getting a stomach virus until July of 2008 when a really bad one ripped through our community and got pretty much everyone I knew sick. Now it seems like we're dealing with "stomach flu" at least twice a year since then. Yuck.

Well, like I said yesterday's workout was HC Bootcamp. I'm getting better at this one, although I still have to pause to rearrange my equipment due to space constraints. Thank goodness today is my usual rest day! Daylight savings is so dang STUPID! Seriously, why do we have to purposely make ourselves endure what is basically jet lag, twice a year every year?

Natty- the Christmas party...yep that's the kind of drag show I'm talking about! I swear those "ladies" are more glamorous and girly than me! lol All the wives went over there and we had a good time. The men didn't go over to see it though. ;) They are all plumbers so of course there was a lot of macho posturing amongst the guys. It was pretty ironic that a Christmas party for a bunch of slightly red neck-ish, macho plumbers was going on while a drag show was going on next door! LOL :p

That thread on OD was tough, wasn't it? I didn't want to make the OP feel bad, but I always feel like I have the obligation to say something in situations like that. I hope the advice was taken in the positive context I meant it, you know?

OMG! the Ode to the Firewalker... I MUST figure out downloads and the workout blender! I suddenly got all these ideas, firewalker tabata from CF, work from AT, TB, B&G, plus I like to use it on the first tabata from Tabatacise!

Sarah- the cloud cakes sounded yummy!!

aack, gotta cut this short...Good luck Jen with the rest of the packing! Hi Marie! Sorry I had to cut personals short you guys!!

Today I did Crossfit. I did tucker out fro the Plyo tabatas (did them kind of half assed). Next week I should be able to conquer it.

So I did a total bone head moe yesterday. I'm so embarrassed. I hit the curb with the car as I was turning into a parking lot (I wasn't texting or talking, though I almost wish I could say I was) I got a flat tire. So I call my hubby and tell him, he decides he will come down and help me even though I insisted that I should do this on my own. So I get the car all jacked up and ready to take the tire off. My husband shows up at this point and I insist he just watched me so I can finish the job by myself. I remove the old tire and the car falls off the jack. Hits the ground on the roters HARD. It was so scary. I told him this is why I should not have a nice car. I am accident prone and ruin everything. The jack was bent at this point. I had to go buy another jack. I was so stressed out. We didn't even get home till 8 and the kids hadn't eaten dinner (shocking they were watching TV the entire time we were gone) . I quickly heated up leftovers. The biggest thing was I didn't binge : )

I also purchased hex 20lb weights (on sale) for 35.00. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Now I feel like I should take them back because I have to get new tires now. Then I went to the post office and got another bill from the patent lawyer for my business I tried to start. $900 more on top of what I already spent. I will have to forgo ordering Cathe's lastest for a few months.

Nat - Growing up my Grandma always used to put potato chips on tuna sandwiches. I loved them that way. I have seen Bobby's burgers and they look awesome.

Cloudcakes are basically super light pancakes made with sour cream. Nothing special.

I'm sorry Colleen about being sick sometimes it does seem like this time of year no one can catch a break with sickness.

I did STS TB UB premix also with X-train rear delts bonus. I feel pretty tired ven thought the STS portion was only 22 minutes long. WE will see what my body thought tomorrow : )

Sarah

Hello Friends.

Happy Tuesday! We have snow and we are below the average of 45F.

Marie. How are you and B?

Natty. You're very creative on mixing workouts like that. Wow! I'm impressed. Cool that Bella prefers to walk. Pretty soon, she'll want to do some Cathe.

Colleen. Around here, viruses spread due to weather. Glad that your virus didn't last long. Daylight savings wipes me out too, I can relate.

Sarah. Congrats on not binging! I've never changed a tire and don't intend to for that very reason. With my flat in Texas, I had to have it done professionally to avoid me doing more damage to the car.

Update:
Only kitchen and small stuff left to pack but my house looks like a tornado. My bi/tris are still defined from the snow and packing. Hoping to start Cathe again sometime mid-April.
It does seem serele but you all and I know that it's right and so do my parents. My cat, Madrid, now comes when I call him. Never did before. Closer to the flight, I will be continually encouraging them on everything. Still will be able to claim MI unemployment in Texas but hoping it's short lived. Improved economy nationwide will help Texas even more.

Hello fit ladies

Yesterday's w/o was Athletic Step. I have confirmed that one is my 2nd fav step workout, with Step Blast coming in 1st.

Does anyone watch Game Of Thrones? The new season starts March 31st! I'm super stoked for it . There is another show that everyone is raving about called Vikings. I'm going to jump on that bandwagon soon. I'm also excited for Mad Men and Breaking Bad, making a return this spring/summer. I tried to watch Downton Abbey, but for some reason episode 1 bored the heck out me.

Colleen
Oh ya, ITA about DST . Totally pointless .
Sorry to hear you got a stomach virus :(. Thankfully it was short-lived. And yes, everyone seems to be getting stomach viruses these past few years.
As for the topic on OD, I felt it was my obligation to speak-up. If there is even the slightest possibly that I can save another little girl from the hell I had to endure, then I must make my voice heard. I'm also going to throw this out there, and say I think the OP was full of crap in her "response". I think she had every intention on making the cellulite an issue for her child, and wanted tips on how to correct the "problem". I think she must have felt guilty (and I hope she did, actually) when reading all those posts, and of course wanted to change her story saying "oh, what if her older sister brings it up?". Ya, I don't buy that .
BTW, the Blender is actually very easy to install/use. My only gripe is when mixing & matching w/o's older than the LIS.

Sarah

I am SO SORRY to hear about your car :(. I think what you did was a mistake anyone could have made. Jacking-up a car does not look easy! I love how you wanted to change the tire yourself though. I love how you are never afraid to get "dirty". It's a very admirable quality.
Congrats in the new hex dumbbells too. No, don't take them back! Well if you must, then do it, but don't feel guilty of you keep them. You deserve them!
BTW, I am going to try GS again this week. The DOMS was so bad last week that I could not afford to do 2X UB workouts. I even toned down my weights #'s for the XT workout I did.

Marie
Hope you and the family are doing well :).

Jen
I love how cats have this amazing intuitive nature with their owner's. They know when you are stressed, anxious, sad. When I was pregnant, Minnie (the cat who passed) who come and lie on my stomach. I swear that cat was a pure angel.

Afternoon ladies!

Today I did Crossfire premix: fitness blast+firewalker tabata (~20 min) and then STS Meso 2 legs (disc 14, minus the warm up and calf work at the end~42 minutes). I used my 8 lb vest (wishing I had a heavier one!) and went as heavy as I could (wishing the whole time I had 30 lb dumbells for the plie squats ). Too many fitness goodies that I want!

Speaking of fitness goodies, do any of you guys have a pedometer? I've been coveting a Fitbit really bad lately. I need extra motivation to get up from my desk when I'm at work, plus it has some good software you can upload to track progress and such and there is also a sleep monitor thing to it. Between that, wanting a TRX suspension trainer, heavier dumbells/weighted vest and an elliptical I am overwhelmed with stuff I want! Oh, and one of the girls on my VF check in has been using Indian Clubs to warm up her upper body and swears it's the best her shoulders have ever felt. You guessed it...I want those now too! :p

Sarah- I am SO sorry about your car! :( You are so awesome for wanting to do it yourself, though. I am a total weenie when it comes to that stuff. You totally deserve to keep those dumbells! If you can't afford it though, I suppose you could always get them later. Delayed gratification was never my strong suit! I'm better than some people I guess, but I am only held back by my hubby sometimes. lol Great job on Crossfire!

Natty- I love Game of Thrones! I just purchased and watched the season 2 dvds (since we don't get HBO) and I've been reading the books, too. I just started the last book, A Dance with Dragons and the author is currently working on the next one I guess. I am amazed at how faithful the tv series is to the books, although there are always little changes here and there. If you ever decide to read the books...just beware that the fourth book sucked, but I figured I was already 3000+ pages in so I pressed through! I did skip a lot of chapters and skimmed several parts, though. Hehe

(re: the thread in OD) Ahh, yes: The Backpedal. ;) To be honest, I suspected that was the case, too. I figured it would be best to let her save face by keeping it as positive as possible so she wouldn't react in defensive anger. I'm hoping the embarassment/guilt/shame of it will tilt her in the right direction with how she proceeds with her daughter. Sometimes we just need a reminder of what is best, you know? ;)

Jen- the packing tornado! It is such a huge transition, but you are going to feel so amazing and at peace once you get settled into your new home. I'm SO excited for you, girl! :D

Better go get the next patient. TTYL!

I did decide to keep the dumbells. I payed for those with cash anyhow from the furniture that I sold on Craigslist. I also think I am going to be sneaky and take the rest of the cash from Craigslist and buy a Visa gift card and get my Cathe stuff pre-ordered. That way I don't feel so guilty.

This morning I did 4DS legs and kickbox. Thsi was hard only because it was weights first the kickbox. My legs felt like lead trying to do all the jumping jacks.
Plus no DOMS from the UB work yesterday : (

The new tire is going to cost $400. Ouch

I started tracking my food because I have come to a stand still again. Sure enough I was not eating enough. I felt like yesterday I was a big pig and got on the scale this morning and sure enough down a pound. Go figure.

Nat - I was going to do Gym Styles this week also but decided I would next week when I have more time. I was also considering fitting in STS again, but am undecided because it is a huge commitment. I am really enjoying right now being everywhere all over the place with the WO. My DOMS were super bad as well last week. I like having them but not to the point where I was last week when I couldn't walk normally.

Colleen - I have to admit the fitbit is a temptation. But then I don't want to get to anal about things. So I will forgo. I have never even heard of Indian Clubs. But I do want a High Step too.

Marie - Ready for your days off? How's Meso 3 going for you? Are you liking it as well as the other Mesos?

Jen - My arms stay pretty well defined w/o doing to much also. You've gotten so much done on your move. My dog always knows when were going on any vacations. She's smart except when she eats cat crap ; )

Sarah

Hi everyone :)

Today is Bella's 4th birthday. We are going to Chuck E Cheese this afternoon . I asked her a few days ago what she wanted for her b-day, and her response was "Lego Batman". No, not the toy, the video game! She absolutely loves Lego Harry Potter for the PS3. I have to make sure I limit her time playing though cuz' that's all she seems to want to do . On the upside, it's not just a shoot, run, jump type game; you have to actually problem solve. It's even hard for me! Funny thing is that the games are designed for 10yrs+ and she's really good at them.

Yesterday's w/o was a 2mile walk + GS Back, Shoulder's, Bi's. For the back work, I'm a bit iffy on doing pull-overs, so I did pull/chin ups (all assisted) on my TT.

Colleen
WOW workout yesterday! I love it . Speaking of 30lbs dumbbell's, I'm trying to get those back from Mark's best friend. Can you believe he gave those to him??!! If only I would have known 5yrs ago that I would have needed them .
I think investing in a pedometer is a good idea. I truly believe most people underestimate steps with keeping you fit. That's why I try to walk as much as possible, and refrain from driving (when I can). People think I'm crazy sometimes, but walking has tremendous health benefits!
Regarding Game Of Thrones, don't you just LOVE Kalisee (?) the blond w/the dragons? Her body is absolutely amazing! In certain lighting, you can really see the definition in her arms. And don't even get me started about her...ahem...rear assets ;)

Sarah
I think you are doing a great job with your diet! And congrats on losing the lbs! There is this one woman from my check-in (Justina) and she has also been reading JM's new book. She is logging her intake of food and is already starting to notice her clothes becoming looser.
I wanted to give STS another go before the summer. I agree though, it is a huge commitment. I really, really wish STS had premixes :(.

Gotta jet! Have a good one1

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't checked in for a few days. I've been super busy between work, B and family stuff. Seems like every time I sit down to read posts I get through some of them but then don't have time to post. I think what I'll do from now on is just do a quick check-in and then respond to individual posts as I read them.

B is doing great! We went to an Baby and Me class with one of my girlfriends and her month old baby yesterday. We learned some fun new songs :)

Tony is doing good with his juicing but has taken a new approach. He juices every morning for breakfast- an all fruit one. Then he has an all veggie juice for lunch along with some food and then a normal dinner. The all day juicing thing was just too much work and not enough calories to get him through the day. He would complain of light-headedness at band practice. Never a good thing.

Meso 3 has been going good. I've only done the one back and chest workout so far but I actually liked it more than I thought. Plyo legs will be today. Excited for that one. I did IMax 2 yesterday and Strength UY the day before that. I really dug that one and got some nice DOMS. I am so impressed and couldn't be happier with my UY purchase.

I hear B stirring in the other room. Gotta go. I work this evening so if we don't have Sundowner's I'll be back to check-in :)

Hello Friends.

Happy Snowy Wednesday!!

Colleen. Don't own a pedometer although it would be good info. HSN sells one. Never heard of Indian Warmers either. its fun to shop for fitness goodies.Love my high step better than the one from The Firm.

Sarah. Brave of you to sell on Craig'sList. I'm wary of it. $400 for a new tire. Eagle GTs? I get all 4s for that.

Marie. Tony needs to eat some real food. Light headness is referred to not enough sugar or not enough solids. Plyo legs is a killer!

Natty. Happy Birthday to Bella! Wow, 4 already. Chuck E Cheese. crazy place.

Update:
All furniture and car will be picked up by the 4th of April. Paying for the move and misc from my IRA (previous 401K) cause my MC is blowing up. Getting a rental here is up in the air yet. Packed my glasses today, just dishes and misc stuff left. Cats know somethings up. Madrid comes when I call him now. kinda freaky. Have a coffee date planned with a guy from Grosse Ile, whom is moving from downtown Dallas back to Grand Rapids. Literally switching places except I'll be living in the burbs of Ft. Worth.

Seriously consider flying down after I get settled in the fall unless you like heat then come in July. Ft. Worth has cattle drives and other festivals. Dallas has lots happening.
Construction due to growth on the roads that will end by June. Great shopping in Grapevine, Galleria in Dallas, and the second largest US IKEA in Frisco. Don't count calories and plan to eat well.

Happy Hump Day girls!! :p

Today I woke up with crazy CSOTT DOMS in my glutes and hammies! As I lay there in bed (knowing it was going to be tough to get out of bed because of the DOMS) all I could think of was "Mwahahahaha YESSSSS!!!" Only you guys could possibly understand that. If I told anyone else my thought process there they would think I was totally off my rocker! LOL

So, the only downside was trying to decide which workout I was going to do today. I was planning on a kettlebell workout, but with the butt DOMS such as they were I knew there was no way I was going to be able to swing a bell with good form. I'm planning on HoCo tomorrow, so I was hesitant to do yoga what with all the chaturanga's and what not. I thought about Low Impact Hiit or something like that but really most cardio being leg based was pretty well out of the question. Sooo...I finally decided on Trisets: upper body split (56 min). I wound up subbing several of the chest and core exercises since I want to be fresh for HoCo tomorrow, though. I like this one, but man does she go fast...too fast for me when lifting. I need a few extra seconds to get situated or else my form suffers. Oh, and the guitar music ...yikes. I'd only done this one a few times before, but man those guitars are kind of annoying in the upper body section (less so in lower body).

Jen- Hopefully it won't be too much of a culture shock in Texas! My sister and husband just got back from there (visiting his son) and they just chuckle at how different the culture is from the Midwest. It really is almost like it's own country! lol Summer's will be pretty toasty. I know Brandon (my nephew) always says they pretty much stay indoors in the air conditioning cause it's so blazingly hot most days!

Marie- I'm glad you enjoying Meso 3! I don't know if you remember, but I bailed on the upper body weights in Meso 3 after two weeks. LOVE the Plyo legs workouts though!! Actually, doing Meso 2 legs almost made me want to revisit STS! I just wish the upper body workouts were combined and shorter. I just hate having to devote two whole workout days just to upper body. I could handle a total upper body disc once a week (like Pyramid upper body or something like that). I liked the idea someone had in the main forum about a sequel to STS with 30 minute workouts and less equipment. Now that would be right up my alley! :D

Natty- I love Daenerys/Khaleesi! Have you seen the trailer for the new season? There is a little snippet that shows her with these soldiers and she just sort of turns and smiles. Link: Game Of Thrones Season 3 Extended Trailer (HD) - YouTube
Having read the books, I about squealed when I saw that! She becomes all kinds of awesome in the books so she has some great story coming up! I can't wait to see how it unfolds in the series! :D

Happy Birthday to Bella!! I hope you guys have fun at Chuck E Cheese! Video games are Dylan's favorite activity in the winter. :( In the summer, it's easier to coax him away since they love to swim in our little backyard pool but the winter time is sooo hard on all of us being cooped up. We aren't exactly winter people who love to go play in the snow .

Sarah- great job on the weight loss! I agree, sometimes people don't realize that if they aren't eating enough their metabolism will slow down. Mark just started finally eating oatmeal in the mornings and he's like "but I get hungrier earlier now!". I told him it's because his metabolism has been stimulated, which is a good thing, and to just moderate his food intake throughout the day to keep it steady. So many people skip breakfast and then over eat at the end of the day which isn't good for the old metabolism.

Ouchie on the tire cost. :( I'm so sorry for you on that!

Okay, better get going before I need to publish my post as a novel. TTYL!

Taking a pumping break at work. Gotta love those extra breaks. Usually I'm charting but I'm all caught up. We do have 2 admits coming still tonight though. Eek! This mama is too tired for that. It's hard for me to stay up past nine lately.

Tony and I have the next 2 days off :) So happy! We are going to take a get-away with B. Tony has something planned and is keeping it a surprise until tomorrow. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

Colleen- Glad you and Lydia are feeling better! My friend has a fitbit and she loves it. You should get one. Enabler alert ;) I'm with you on contributing 2 days to upper body. It's just too much. I always feel like I need to do cardio on those days. However this Meso I'm not going to do that. I figure working out an hour a day is plenty. I'm also with you on the Triset music. Not a fan! Good luck with HoCo tomorrow. I'm sure you'll rock it like always.

Jen- The move is coming along. Hope your cats adjust well. They are smart animals. My dad lives in TX and always sends me pictures of the palm trees and lets me how how nice the weather is. Jealous!

Natty- Happy Birthday to Bella! Hope you had fun at Chuck-e-Cheese :) I don't have Step Jam but maybe I should get it if it's condsidered complex. I need every single one of her amazing step wrokouts :) Party Rockin' ;)

Sarah- Good call on getting the Visa gift card! Yay for being able to preorder. Remeber to do it before March is up so you get Greatest Hits for free! Sorry about your tire. Ouch is right! I'm so impressed you got as far as you did with changing it yourself. I wouldn't have a clue!

Good morning everyone :)

Chuck E Cheese went well. It was really really busy because of March Break. First we went to get Bella's hair cut (I just had to take 3 inches off!) and afterwards we decided to go to a Chuck E Cheese that was nearby. I looked in the window and it was completely swarmed with kids! I was like "hells no! How on earth is Bella going to get on the games?". So we decided to go to the one by our house, which was busy, but not insanely crazy.

Today I might have to go into Toronto and pick up Bella's immunization report from her old doctor (she needs it to get into school). I'm looking forward to it because that particular district was one where Mark and I used to frequent often before Bella was born. So much great food and shopping!

I have to share with you guys a great, quickie breakfast!
= PROTEIN POW(D)ER !
I basically bought all the ingredients in bulk. It's an awesome little power-packed breakfast cereal! Just a heads-up, the recipe calls for 1 TBLS of cinnamon, but I found that to be just too much . I would next time adjust to 1 TSP. Cinnamon is very strong, so a little goes a long way.

Marie
Have fun with Tony and B! How cute of Tony to plan a surprise get-a-way :). Speaking of Tony, glad to hear he is doing better adding food into his diet now. I think a month long juice fast is just too hard to sustain! Unless you are a famous celebrity .
I really liked lifting heavy with M3. Unfortunately because of chronic low back problems, it was getting aggravated, so I decided to quit 2 weeks in. Also, the w/o's are TOO LONG . I'm not a fan of devoting 70min 2X/week to working out! No way! I really, really wish STS had premixes :(.

Everything is coming along so well! I am really impressed at how much you've done is such a short amount of time.
I'm excited you have access to an Ikea nearby! I could spend virtually hours just perusing the store .

Colleen
YAY for CSOTT DOMS! You know that's my fav kind ;).
I'm one of the few that actually loves the guitar music in Tri-Sets. But yes I agree, Cathe goes super fast.
Thanks for the youtube clip! Really looking forward to the new season . I also LOVE John Snow :p:p;);).

Hello Friends.

Happy Thursday!

Colleen. Love it when I have DOMs, only way to know I'm working hard. Yes, I hear it's real hot in TX and summers, everyone stays indoors. Fortunately, I will workout since I have no yard work.

Marie. Enjoy your suprise from your DH! Where does your Dad live with Palm Trees? It must be nearer the Gulf than DFW. Staying up late is hard for me too.

Natty. Love Toronto! Love Casa Loma, my home in my dreams! What district? Yes, IKEA is dangerous. Chuck E Cheese seems like its always crazy busy.

Update:
Got my bill from my mobile from my trip. I used data from it on my 4G. Thankfully, my parents sent me money for my move so it paid for it with funds left over. Heart attack!
Texas heat. Not as humid as MI which works. Live on a bottom floor unit so my neighbors will keep me cool especially the ones above me. So many adjustments coming with weather, Texas culture, food, work, etc.
Need to pack.

Quickie check in before I leave work and go home for the night!

Today I did HC November Hardcore. SO awesome. :D I'm still feeling DOMS from my Tuesday work out though so I had to modify some of the leg work in HC. There was no way I was going to be able to do any of those one legged jumps with the way my hammies were feeling!

Marie- have fun with Tony's surprise! What a sweetie! :)

Natty- John Snow....yummy! This season is going to be unreal! I'm trying to talk Mark into subscribing to HBO before it starts so I don't have to wait until the dvds come out next year!

Gotta jet! Talk to you guys tomorrow!
