I'm a dog person, my hubby is more of a cat person. My cat always wants to hide behind things and try to ninja kitty my ankles. And he tries to ninja kitty my dogger. I'm convinced my cat wants to take over the world. Some night he's gonna suck my breath out ala "Cat's Eye" by Steven King

I adore the photos! I was always a dog person until I met my DH. He wanted a cat. So, when we moved to NC, we went to the shelter "to look" and ended up bringing home the most adorable kitten! He has become our baby and I also have two beagles!
I guess you could say, I am a dog-cat person! Because we are already talking about getting two cats next time!

OMG, that is so me! Sorry cat lovers, no offense intended, but I find cats kind of creepy. I also do not like the fact that they want to love me when THEY want to love me, not ALL THE TIME the way dogs do.
And the puggles! All the puggles! upnorthchick, is Nadia a puggle too? Crazy, insane, destructive, sweetest dogs on the planet!

Forgot to mention that I am definitely a dog person! I had cats when I was younger and I also had sinus infections the entire time - found out I was very very allergic. No more cats for me!

Nelle (the dog) is a Boxer. Nadia (the cat) is a Maine Coon.

I just love this thread. I'm nuts about animals and really enjoying the pics. Laura, no offense taken re the cat comment, my DH hated...no, DESPISED cats before we started going together. Now he loves Lulu, tolerates Mickey and is scared to death of Puddin (he should be!). Your puggles are adorable.
Liann, the pics of your furry family are so cute. The one of Montana wearing the parka is especially sweet. How do the dachshunds get along with your piggy? My daughter had a mini dachshund but had to let him go earlier this year, he was very ill. She's recently gotten a Chihuahua puppy

Lori - Montana and Dakota could care less about the pigs. Dakota just licks them if I am holding one (I have 3 little piggies - snicker). Cheyenne on the other hand practically foams at the mouth when she sees them. She has this major mommy instinct going on and just wants to "love" them to death. I had a hamster (RIP Bri) who Cheyenne use to give kissies to through the bars of her cage. Bri would sit there and take it and then have all these little cow licks from Cheyenne. I had ferrets at one point too (I got them way before the doggies) and the dogs and ferrets kissed each other through the bars, but I never let them get any closer than that because supposedly wieners hunt badgers/weasels etc... I don't think my dogs would know how to hunt if their lives depended on it though! They are a bunch of lazy bums. You can't even take them for a walk because you end up walking back carrying them all because they gave up!
