I'm a Cat Person

I had several dogs as a kid. I loved them. I also remember having guinea pigs: Liann, how awesome! And of course fish, cats and my little bros always had reptiles and insects...eek!

Now that I'm on my own and with my husband, we feel that the responsibility of owning a dog takes a lot more commitment than owning a cat. We have 4 cats and yes, I can't stand changing the litter boxes...yes, boxes. I have 2, one covered and one uncovered. All 4 of them are surely spoiled...but very easy to take care of.

Now that we have our 15 month DS running around, they have a daily reality check: it's not the cats' house anymore! DH and I are waiting until the little one asks for a dog for birthday or Christmas...then the cats are going to be really jealous! LOL!

Our Tortie with a checker-board mouth is Athena (sister of Sphynx)
Out Tabby is Sphynx (sister of Athena)
Our Calico is Cleo (aka Cleopatra, sister of Venus)
Our long-haired Tortie is Venus (sister of Cleo)

In one photo, my DH does some Cathe abs as Cleo (when she was a kitten) sits on his abs...don't mind our Christmas decorations!
