Popping in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We are headed to my brother's place on the Cape, leaving after traffic clears out. I hope I don't forget any of the food - what would happen if I forgot the turkey??? Anyways, I'll do all the cooking tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to a nice long weekend with family.

I'm in the third week of my new job and it gets a little easier each day. It is a drastic change from my last one, but I don't regret leaving at all. They start about an hour later than I am used to, so I switched up my schedule to workout in the mornings instead. I realized if I didn't do it in the morning, it just wouldn't get done. But I have been so tired in the late afternoon/evenings.

So ladies, wishing you much health and happiness and family time, especially before the Christmas craziness starts!

It is so nice to hear from you Mary! Happy thanksgiving!

Well...today was funny....worked 4 hrs....then pamped myself with mani/pedi....oh was that nice. Then came home and started chores!!!!!

Just got home....tim wanted to go eat mexican.....so i have some massive "cathe" time tomorrow morning!!!!

Off to eat some tums...lol

Good morning ladies!! I wish you all a very happy thanksgiving. I am thankful for all of your friendship and support.

Today I started off my day with cycle max!

Can't wait for turkey!!!

Hi all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry I have been MIA lately. Busy but fun week with my sis and her 7 month old. We spent the weekend in Duluth with my mom. Had a great time.

Been going for walks daily :) Yesterday I went to the lake and walked 6- 12 minute miles. I was crusin' :)

My appt is next Thu and I should be getting cleared to workout! Super stoked!

I'll be back tomorrow to catch up on personals. I feel bad that time has just been getting away from me lately. I miss my forum buddies!

Love ya all!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Great to hear from you, Mary and Marie! Congrats on the job change and liking it, Mary!!!

I'm super achy in UB from yesterday. No workout since I'll still need to make green bean casserole. I wish I could.

Have a delicious, cozy day with your families!

Happy Thanksgiving To all of my Workout Buddies. I am very Thankful to have each of you in my life. You have encouraged me to get thru some tough workouts. I have enjoyed each of your stories of your children and your families. I wish you all a happy and prosperous holiday season. Enjoy today with each of your families and just eat what you want. Tomorrow you can work it off.
Today I did Biceps and Triceps. These Beast w/o's give me doms for days.

Marie You were flying on that walk. I am happy to hear that you are well and happy with Motherhood.

Carolyn When do you decorate if it doesn't snow? Enjoy your family. I hope the cake turns out good.

Mary It is good to hear from you. Continued good luck with the new job. Enjoy you trip to the Cape.

Missy I guess you are all decorated. I am sure it looks lovely. I wish I was decorated. I am looking forward to seeing all of my favorite holiday movies. I love "Ebbie" and "The Christmas List". I try to watch those every year.

Colleen Enjoy your Turkey.

Betty I am sure you have a huge affair to go to . Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I have been just resting in the recliner this morning....dragging my butt!!! Gotta get up and bust out a workout!!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic turkey day!!!!

Good Morning everyone. Don't spend too much money today.:p
Today I did Back.
Our Thanksgiving at the nursing home was very nice. The place was like a restaurant and we even got menus. Everyone was surprised how nice it was. The food was even good. I think their sweet potatoes were the best I have ever had.
Carolyn My cake always has areas that don't have butter on them. You just try to make it as smooth as possible. It still turns out good. I am glad it was a hit and it was easy to make. Have a good day with your family and I hope PT goes well today.

Have a good day ladies.

Hello all,

I'm back in town and wanted to thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for my dad. It was so touching to me to see people thinking of us through the holidays, even when I wasn't here posting. You are really a lovely group of people!

Dad is doing great and is now home from the hospital. It is so nice to be back at my own home and getting back to my routine. I managed to keep up with STS, but not much else. I have one more workout in Meso 2 then I'm off for a week and on to Meso 3!

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and a profitable Black Friday ;)

Missy -- lovely tree!

Hi Ladies. I guess everyone is busy. No w/o today for me. I really needed to do some cleaning. I took all of my stuff out of the attic yesterday and there was alot of attic dirt on the floor. If you guys use your attic for storage , I highly advise to go up there once a year and get rid of some stuff. And encourage your choldren NOT to become collectors. I had Owls wrapped in newspaper from 1979. Missy wasn't even born yet. I went thru all of my attic stuff and I now have 10 more boxes of donations and 4 boxes of books for the library. My husband took a pickup truck load of recycle to the dump yesterday. I cleaned 3 rooms today. Now I am going to sit down and look at the sale papers.

Becky Welcome home. I am glad your Father is doing well. Hopefully he will have a full recovery and he kicked cancers a$$. I hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving. I can't believe you were able to keep up with STS. You will really enjoy Meso 3. Heavy weights , low reps , long breaks.

Carolyn I am happy to hear that you can do HC and your bike. Just take it easy. You will probably be ready when Xtrain arrives. Someone said we should have it by Christmas. Enjoy your family.

Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great Turkey Day and feast! On my plate I think sides numbered more than turkey pieces! Don't even mention dessert! I didn't hold back. Yikes! And I definitely want to go meatlesss after all the meat I've been eating in the last few weeks, including rib roast today.

Becky, so happy to hear that your dad is doing great! Good job on keeping up with STS too.

Carolyn, congrats on your dishes being a hit!:D I should mention that the grapes in the compote do tend to stay whole. I leave it that way. Don't they taste delicious?
Congrats on being able to do HC and spin! That's a huge milestone! Take it easy.

My pumpkin-mousse pie was yummy, but what's a good sub for 15 oz of pumpkin puree next time I make this?? It's a tad too pumpkiny:eek:. hee hee

Jean, you're right about cleaning the attic at least once a year. I just resent the time it takes to clean. I try to toss out some here and there when I get up to the attic to take things out.

Missy, your tree is gorgeous! Have fun decorating it! Post a pic afterward. I like decorating it but do less and less every year. The putting away takes a lot of time.

Anyone do any Black Friday shopping? Not me. Any good deals from Cathe?

Carolyn, do you always get snow in December for putting up the tree? It's not a given for us. (Thank goodness.)
