JulieDon't you like that feeling of the red tomato? :p:p Good job doing double wave pyramid and the core work from MMA:Boxing sound like a good workout. My legs are so much better today I can walk normal yay!:p My sister doesn't really workout as much as we do, once she told me that she was going doing some type of cardio aerobics but that's all, that's why I got most of the videos that she won't need any equipment at all until she get in shape, that's a good idea to do the short version at first, I will point that out. I understand what you mean when you have the loud alarm and if that hour is not a good quality hour sleep maybe is not even worth, I hope you find the way to rest a little bit longer though!

Today I did disc 21 back/biceps and did a little core work I used the ab mat that's all... I did went up my weight hopefully I can feel it tomorrow my legs are so much better today, I forgot to tell you that I kicked my chin again doing the planks kicking under, left, right,:confused: oh well that comes with the whole show!!!

Tonight was 4DS Kickbox. Was able to keep up with Cathe except I took longer breaks in the 5 riser leg presses. Also I couldn't do abs. Will do them tomorrow. Truly my legs are just like jello. OMG! Wonderful workout, my legs really need it they are so weak compared to the rest of me.

Eunice, I'm using food rich in calcium instead of using supplements. Collards, kale, blackstrap molasses, sesame seeds...LOL, I know there will be more drama.:eek: I took your advice and submitted a recipe using the above ingredients. We'll see how it goes. Great job with AB, it is a toughie.

Julie, Great job on this morning's HiiT DWP. LOL on the red face, just means you did a fabulous job. Good for you. Also great job on those abs from MMA Boxing.

Eunice, Great job on disc 21 back/biceps and core. Congratulations for going up in poundage. Oh no kicking yourself is against the rules. LOL;)

This morning I did MMA Boxing including the Heavy Bag Bonus but skipped the abs since I did them yesterday. I really wish I had a heavy bag and gloves but I just don’t have the room. Maybe I could get one of those boxing dummies. I doubt they take up much space.

Eunice Great job on disc 21! Plus adding in that core work! What’s an ab mat? I don’t think I have heard of that before. Hopefully your chin isn’t bruised. Probably sore though. I’m still amazed you can kick you chin during those. My foot doesn’t come near my face at all on those. I’m so glad you can walk normal again. Sometimes it is so embarrassing when I am walking funny and I know people are looking at me strange. Yea for upping those weights again!

Janie Great job on 4DS Kickbox! I really like that workout as a whole but love the weight work. Good job on keeping up with Cathe. Leg presses really get your heart rate up and I think it is a good idea to rest a little longer so you can keep good form and balance on those. Love that jello feeling. I think that is the first sign of a good workout.

Tonight was 4DS LIS with shoulders, calves and abs. Also walked in the woods today with Rolly for about 30 min. He sure loves walks.

This morning I did Gym Styles Back, Shoulders, and Biceps. Today is DH’s birthday so I am taking a half day of vacation and we will be spending some time together shopping.

Janie Great job on 4DS LIS shoulders, calves, and abs! I love the shoulder work in that one and my favorite move is the Hip-Hop Repeater. Makes me giggle when I do that one. :eek:

Tonight was 4DS Bootcamb with biceps and triceps. I've never done the cardio in this one before and I must say I like it.:D Very different.

This morning I did Leaner Legs. I like that one because it has so many of my favorite exercise, deadlifts!! Now we are spending the night at my parents.

Janie Great job on 4DS Bootcamp with biceps and triceps! I like the cardio in that one. It is very different and fun! Dh says thanks for the birthday wishes.

Friday was a rest day yesterday I did HiiT 30/30 +HiiT 40/20 today I woke up with sore calves a butt.
 
Hi ladies, I'm back! I did keep up with what you were doing while I was gone, but I didn't post since it is a pain to post from the ipad. I see you are all doing well, I hope we haven't lost Cheryl though. Julie Happy Belated birthday to your DH, I hope he had a great day.
The wedding and graduation last weekend were both very nice. We had a lot of fun at the wedding and did a lot of dancing. That morning I did the cardio only from 4DS bootcamp and 4DS kickbox and then the abs from 4DS kickbox with my 2 SILs. The night before my SIL took us through part of the Kari Anderson workout that she does and it was a lot of fun. My DH and I went running on Sunday and I did Hiit Pyramid twice and one of the intensity cardios while at the beach, so felt like I did pretty good getting some workouts in. We came home yesterday and went to the lake in the afternoon. I had my best 2 sets of the season so far, so I was pretty happy about that. Today I did HCE Interval circuit and Medicine ball abs and now am working on getting all of the laundry done and the house back in order. It's amazing how fast a week can go by, but I'm glad to be home. I missed all of you, I'm so happy to see that everyone is doing well.

Yesterday was a rest day and today I did 30/30. I do like that one a lot. These next couple of days will take off and get ready to move in the Beach House. Will still have to put flooring in the kitchen and entryway that then we're done. Oh, all except curtains. I want to wait on those last minute, no hurry. No one can see in where it's private anyway. Yea!!!!!! Was wondering why my feet and hands were itching like mad. I'm pretty certain, it's nuts and seeds. The Paleo is good because on it I don't have a lot of different foods and when I introduce a new food I'll know right away if it's something I ate or if I'm sick. I didn't have any nuts or seeds today, and the itchiness is almost gone. I'll be able to tell more tomorrow.

Julie, Great job on Leaner Legs. Enjoy your family tonight.

Pam, So good that you made it back safely. Hope we didn't lose Cheryl too.:( I'm glad that the graduation and wedding was good. Don't you just love dancing at weddings? Great job on working out during that time. You are so dedicated. Awe, laundrymax and getting the house back to normal. Glad your home too.:)

JanieGood job taking a day to rest those are necessary for our body! But, then you got back to hit HiiT 30/30..... Congratulations!!! You are getting ready to move in the beach house! I thought that was just like a weekend house but I think you are actually moving in, so what are you going to do with the place that you are now? I'm glad that you found out what kind of food is giving you the itchiness...

Last night I didn't have a good night sleep at all, so today I felt pretty weak:(:confused:while doing disc 10 shoulders/chest/biceps I did all of my pushups on my toes but for a few, I was very impressed with my self doing all those 4-4 pushups then 2-2 then 16 :eek: from those I did the last 6 on my knees then in the 21's I did the 7 lower/toes 7 half top/toes then the full range 7 knees I felt my chest working :p:p

Janie Great job on 30/30. I think that is my favorite of the Hiits because it isn't quite the killer that the other 2 are! How exciting that you are moving into the beach house. Will you be staying there all summer?? Oh boy, the itchy hands and feet do not sound like fun at all so hopefully it was the nuts and seeds. I'm glad to hear that the itchiness is about gone in any case! Oh yes, dancing at weddings is always a blast. It's such a fun way to get a little extra exercise in! I think yesterday was laundry max extreme! We had all of the relatives staying with us for 2 nights before we left, so in addition to all of the regular clothes I had all of the sheets in the house that needed to be washed too. It's all done now though. Whew!

Eunice Not a workout marathon, but just got around to recording them all at the same time. Not like you with your back to back 30/30 and 40/20. Whew! I didn't work out quite every day, but got enough in so that I wasn't feeling guilty about it and it wasn't hard to get back into the swing of things either. So sorry that you aren't going to be able to go to the wedding, I know that you were really looking forward to it :( I was so excited to see that you only have 15 weeks left before you come home. Wow, that is hardly anything and will fly by for sure! Oh yes, I was soooo excited to do all of those chores. :rolleyes: It was a gorgeous day outside so I did kind've enjoy being out cutting the lawn. I trimmed some bushes that were in desperate need too, but our trimmers were really dull so that was kind've annoying.
Sorry you didn't have a good sleep, but it sounds like you did great on those push ups anyway, good for you!!!! That is awesome doing all of those on your toes!

I started Cathe's June rotation today and it was 4DS HIS this morning. I tried to match Cathe in weight but couldn't do it for everything. I only used 25 pounds for the one armed rows and she uses 30's and I only did 60 pounds instead of 62 for the barbell rows. I also could only do 25 pound dumbbells on the chest press and she uses 30. I did most of the push ups on my toes, but I can NOT do those low end push ups on my toes. Ouch! All in all it was pretty good though. BTW Janie, I just saw your recipe in the newsletter, Congrats!!!

Yesterday I went out to brunch with my family for Father’s Day and then I got to go home and do laundry and packing. I will be leaving for Dallas tomorrow morning for three days for a workshop for work. Ugh!!!! I’m not thrilled about going but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I decided to sleep in today but will get back to working out tomorrow morning.

Eunice You are one crazy lady to do 30/30 and 40/20 on back to back days. I don’t think I would have the energy to do two days of HiiT. You are my super woman hero! I hate those nights when I don’t get good sleep. I am so proud of you for impressing yourself with all those pushups on your toes. The 21s pushups are so hard once you get to the full range pushups.

Janie Great job on 30/30! How long will you be staying at the Beach House this time? Will you be staying the rest of the summer? I hope it is not all kinds of nuts and seeds. Hopefully just a certain type. Congrats on getting your recipe featured!

Pam Yea! I’m glad you had such a good time but I understand about being happy to be home again. You did awesome keeping up with working out. I hope we didn’t lose Cheryl either. I hope she is just busy with the PT classes and will come back once she gets her certification. Great job on 4DS HIS! 30 pounds for 1arm rows and chest presses is heavy. Yep those low end pushups are harder than the top half I think. I do really like the pushups around the clock in that workout.

Hi everyone, I am still around, you haven't lost me I have just been really busy. I went back to see when the last time I posted and it was the end of May. Wow I knew it had been a while but I didn't realize that it had been that long. I have been very busy with studying for my PT certification plus I have been working out in the evenings (I really don't have energy that early in the mornings anymore). This doesn't leave a lot of time in the evenings to do much of anything. My homework is done for my next class so I have some free time. I haven't even been able to post any of my workouts on FB either. I didn't read all of your posts since I missed so many :eek: but you have all been working out really hard.

Janie Are the renos to your beach house now complete?

Pam Sounds like you had a nice mini vacation and wedding.

Eunice Not too much longer and you will be moving back over this way.

Julie Enjoy your business trip to Dallas.

Today I did KPC, I am doing Cathe's June rotation but I mixed up the weeks. I started next weeks rotation today oops. Oh well I will just switch them up. My next class isn't until Wednesday so I am hoping I can post again tomorrow.

Eunice, We will be moving in the Beach House for the Summer. We'll come back every two weeks or so to pick up our mail do some heavy duty shopping here. I'm so excited! You did very well on your disc 10 shoulders/chest/biceps considering you didn't sleep well the night before. And you should feel proud of yourself for doing all those push ups. I am too!

Pam, Yep, will be staying at the Beach House all Summer only to come back for mail and shopping (groceries, appointments...) Great job on 4DS HIS. You did really good with those weights, push ups and pretty much kept up with Cathe. Thank you for the cheer on my recipe. It's fun getting gift certificates and spending them on Cathe's stuff. Who knew? It was a wonderful surprise.

Julie, Glad you had a good time with your family on Father's Day. Hope you enjoy the workshop in Dallas instead of dreading it. Will stay at the Beach House all Summer and will come home for mail, groceries and appointments. I can't wait! Will leave tomorrow. Thanks for the congrats on my recipe. It was a pleasant surprise.

Cheryl, Joe still needs to put flooring down in the kitchen and entrance way at the beach house but other than that, the renos are done. PamNo... I was just kidding, I knew that you were just checking all at once. OMG! I know from now on time will fly really fast, I cannot believe that we had being already 2 years here. We didn't do much, but it doesn't matter because we did a little bit of both, we pay 3 credit cards and we did a little bit of going places, so I'm happy with that... I won't be able to go to the wedding but I will still send a present to the couple;):D I saw your comment on FB about the beautiful day you did have, so good and perfect for you!
Actually I haven't had a good weekend and week, I feel so down and I'm dragging my workouts, like today I was about to quit in the middle of the workout but I just kept pushing, I thought to my self "at least is not tri-sets and next week I will take a rest week"..Good job doing 4DS HIS + weights, you did awesome I think for you to be able to match Cathe you had to take a longer rest if you wanted to use those heavy weights, if I remember right that workout move pretty fast so you get fatigue very fast too, good for the pushups on your toes.

Julie Good for you for taking the day off... Oh, now is your turn to go away! Take care and if you can have some fun. Nice weekend you did have tough! If I had to do back to back days I wouldn't do that, but when you are hot and full of energy, adrenaline and a little crazy you would go ahead and do it in the same morning:p:p Oh, and I forgot to mention the boot camp push upas those were deff on my knees.


CherylI'm glad we still have you around, we knew that you were busy with school and work, and once you get over with you'll get back to normal. Yay! I saw your recipe on Cathe's news letter, good for you!!! did you see the new contest? that sounds very good too.

Today I did disc 12 legs is the last disc of week 4 meso 1 next week is the last week of meso 2 I think I'm going to take a recovery weeks then I'll do meso 3, I haven't be really good with diet so I don't think I have changed a thing, :confused: I did gain strength for sure but I still need to drop at least 3-5 pounds of fat, and to be honest I don't know how:confused::confused: I know what to eat, but I haven't be good in the kitchen and also I had some bad weeks too, so I think I need to figure things too, we have 3 months to go and I don't feel like I belong here anymore and I haven't pay attention to things in the house I need to wake up and do things the right way.

This morning I did the Double Trouble premix of Afterburn. I thought that would be a good one to do before I get on a plane for 2 hours.

Cheryl Yea! I’m glad we didn’t lose you. Study hard and catch up when you can. You are doing awesome with keeping up with the PT certification and working out.

Janie Hope you enjoyed your rest day and got all packed up and ready to spend the summer at the Beach House. I’m so excited for you and Joey to finally be able to relax in your new hideaway. I’m trying not to be too nervous about going to Dallas. I’ve never been there before and what is really getting me nervous is the driving down there in unfamiliar territory.

Eunice Great job on disc 12! I’m sorry you have been feeling out of sorts and not quite right. I’m not sure I would be of much help on the eating and trying to lose fat. I’m horrible at that. I can do good when I really want to count every calorie I put in my mouth but the last 6 months or so, I just haven’t wanted to be that dedicated. Those bootcamp pushups are hard. I can sometimes muster one or two out on my toes and then have to go to my knees.

I was always struggling to get around he clock for the HIS pushups, but I finally paid attention to the fact that Cathe moves both hands, not just one, which is what I had been doing :rolleyes:

Cheryl Hooray, so glad that we didn't lose you! Oh boy, I guess your evenings are really packed with working out at night and getting your studying done too. Come visit us when you can! great job on keeping yup with your workouts though, I hope that the evenings are working out better for you. I don't think it's any big deal switching weeks on the rotation. You are still doing the same workouts.

Eunice Your 2 years went by really fast for me! :D It's hard to believe it has been that long already! It sounds to me like you had a pretty good balance of doing some traveling but keeping the expenses in order. It seems like you had a lot of fun there. oh yes, we had the most perfect weather over the weekend, sunny and mid 80's and not humid. We are back into the 90's for the rest of the week though. I don't mind it though, I love hear! So sorry to hear that you are not having a good weekend or week :( I know when you feel like you have some weight to lose that it can really get you down , but you are so dedicated with your workouts and really so much better with your eating than probably 90+% of people, you should be patting yourself on the back. Good job pulling through the rest of the workout when you weren't feeling it too! It sounds like it will be good for you to take a rest week and rejuvenate though! That can do wonders sometimes.
You're right, it would make sense to take longer rests with the heavy weights in that workout. She does just bop from one to the next in that one.
Great job on disc 12, ouch ouch ouch! I hope you are feeling better soon, but HUG to you!

Well today was supposed to be a rest day but I didn't want Tuesday to be my rest day so I did 4DS LIS. It was on the calendar for Saturday so I'll just move some things around a little. I was happy with my shoulder work, my shoulder seems to be behaving for a change and I did the same weights as Cathe for all but the isolation presses. She uses 15s for those and I could only do 12s. That calf work in that one kills me! Have a great day everyone!

Got to the beach house and doing really well. Had lunch and Rolly and I decided to walk on the beach. It's such a beautiful day. Walked about 45 min.

Eunice, Great job on disc 12 legs. Congrats on the last disc of week 4 meso 1. Yea! You did good.;) 3-4 pounds I know is hard to lose, but you may have gained muscle instead of fat. You've been improving with strength. How does your clothes fit? Can you see the muscle? I bet you weren't as bad in the kitchen as you might think. What do you mean you don't think you belong? Did someone say or do anything to upset you? I can't wait for you to get back home in the states. That's where you belong. A place you are familiar with. I'm so sorry you feel this way. :( Get some much needed rest you'll feel better when you do especially after a weeks worth. Stay in touch. (((((hugs))))). I did see the new contest. Will you be entering with your wonderful recipes?

Julie, Great job on DT prem. of Afterburn. I think that was a good choice. I know driving in unfamiliar territory is nerve racking but once you are on the road and have a map and out there, you'll be just fine. It's the getting going that's hard. Keep us posted.

Pam, Great job on 4DS LIS and keeping pretty much up with Cathe. Isn't that cool? I do that sometimes when I have a rest day too. But do make sure you rest at some point. I know about extra energy. Yep moving the schedule around is a good idea. O boy, that calf workout is a dread factor for me. Which of course means my body really needs it.:rolleyes:

Janie Sorry to hear that you are itchy. One of my staff is going through this same thing and has been for several months. She has gone to the allergist and is now trying to cut the foods that she is allergic to out of her diet. She found that taking Reactin helps. My last PT session will be the first week of August. Then I will take a couple of weeks to study and then write the ACE exam at the end of August. If all goes well I will be certified by the end of September. Enjoy your summer at the beach house.

Eunice Three months will go by fast. Do you know where you will be moving to? Good job on disc 12. The eating is always the hardest. I struggle with the same thing since DH doesn't like to eat healthy.

Pam I actually hate working out in the evenings but I just don't have the energy to get up at 4am and put my all into a workout. At least in the evenings even if I am tired it doesn't seem as bad as really early in the morning. Good job on 4DS LIS and your shoulder behaving. I can't do 15s either for the isolation presses. I really missed you guys too. I hope I can post more than what I have been doing. Tomorrow is my next class and I am looking at what I need to read next and it is 100 pages :eek:. Hopefully I can still post and my homework doesn't take up all of my time. Tonight I did TBT UB. I was really tired tonight and I didn't have the strength to lift what I normally do. I had to take it down a notch but that is better than not doing anything. I forgot to tell you guys that I did up a weight program for my instructor a little while ago and one of the exercises that I had her do was the tricep work from TBT UB where you are in a plank and one arm is doing the kickbacks. Well while she was doing that I could hear her say something. I said what was that.......and she said "I hate you". Then I said thanks I will take that as a compliment. Afterwards she told me that it was a really good program that I did for her. That felt good.

Anyway it is almost bedtime. Have a great day everyone.
