Strength in Numbers

Julie Great job on GS Chest & Triceps. You have me worried about all of the pushups now though because I have that one in plan for tomorrow  The raccoon bridge was really cute. We felt bad for this one little guy though. There was a really big fat one camped out at the top eating away and a little skinny one tried to go up and the big guy ran him off :( Hopefully he went back later after Mr Greedy got his fill! OK, I have never done GS legs, I don't think I have it. I might have to look into getting the download, although it sounds scary! I hope you have good news to report on your washer today. What have you been doing all this time without a car??? I'm sorry to report that I have no DOMS today  I thought for sure I would!

Janie Great job on Clean Max and your walk on the beach with Rolly. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather! Wow, the way that you describe the flooring sounds just gorgeous, I love how you descrive it as driftwood, sand and ocean water! It couldn't be more perfect for a beach house. I can't wait to see the pictures, although I imagine pictures won't be able to do it justice. You were one busy lady with all of that cleaning! How nice to have it feeling like home!
We are going to the Outer Banks on vacation. I think there are 32 of us total, DHs Mother, brothers, sisters and everyones kids. This will be the 4th time that we've done it and it is always a lot of fun.

Eunice No I haven't tried the cinnamon roll recipe yet, cinnamon rolls are a once or twice a year treat these days. Definitely no more cinnabons with extra frosting  Hmmmm...some of our favorite comfort foods are chicken and dumplings or pot roast. Homemade chicken pot pie is pretty tasty too...... There you go getting me hungry again!! You're right, it does seem like vacation marathon lately. After next week it should slow down though. The only thing we currently have planned after that is to take 2 days off to take Ashley to Virginia Tech for her orientation in July. I'm not sure how much of a vacation that will be though.....
Oh boy, congrats on all of those DOMS and hopefully the pain is only due to muscle soreness.....Great job on Hiit Pyramid. Hmmm....sounds like Julie and I aren't the only ones who make noises when we workout after all! :D
How is Brandy doing with Insanity? Did she do the whole thing before?

This morning I did disc 32 plyo legs. I decided to do a plyo legs and just opened the meso 3 in a random place and picked the one that was there. I was kind've happy that this one didn't have the 1/2 turn jumps. It does have the 1 legged burpees though which are always a challenge! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Yesterday afternoon I gave blood. This morning I woke up feeling so tired and weak but I tried to do Cardio Supersets anyway. I had to go to my knees for the pushups with the arm extensions and couldn’t do the mountain climbers to save my life. I wonder if I should have just stayed in bed. Hopefully, I can get my energy back soon because right now I just want to lay down and sleep.

Janie Great job on clean max even if you did get in Joey’s way a little. I can’t wait to see the pictures of the floor. Do you let Rolly off the leash on the beach? Does he go near the water? We took Oscar to Lake Michigan a couple years ago. He jumped in the lake, got hit by a small wave, jumped out and stayed on the beach the rest of the time. So funny!

Eunice Great job on giving it your all in HiiT DWP! You and Janie are making me feel bad about cleaning. Since I have been having to do my laundry at my parents’ house the last several weekends, I have only been doing the bare minimum in cleaning. I hope your back gets to feeling better. that must be so confusing to work the Australian and America school systems and try to get it so Brandy can graduate on time.

Pam Great job on Disc 32! Yea for no ½ turn jumps but those 1-legged burpees are very challenging. Oh don’t be worried on the pushups. There are a lot and this was my 3rd week in a row doing them so they just seem to take forever. Well that was very rude of Mr. Greedy fat raccoon. I guess he is not used to sharing. They are coming in the afternoon to fix the washer so hopefully I can say tomorrow it is fixed. I have been using my mom’s car. Luckily both my parents are retired with two cars and they really only need one so they let me borrow the other. GS Legs is very good but I do have to say I have a bigger dread factor with it than Butts & Guts. I figure that just means I have to do it more often.

Have a good day!

Since I missed my back and chest last time today was that and legs but only one cardio warmup. Yep, I'm sick tonight and really feel it. So taking it not so hard. However the weight lifting was as good as Cathe's except for the 25 pound fly's. Mine were 20's in each hand. We did 12 reps at two sets. Whew! I have a trickling down in the back of my throat and just can't seem to cough it up to make it stop and a soar throat. Kinda scary because I feel like I might not be able to catch my breath, but it's all in my head I think. I'm able to breath. Will take one capsule of NyQuil and see what happens.

Here is a photo of the living room with what I call driftwood and sand.

This photo to me is like driftwood and sand with the blue water from the ocean.

Anyhoo, it's getting there and still have the kitchen/computer/reading room to do and closets. Joey will go back again on Sunday (I'll be here out of his way) and he will attempt to get some of that done.

Eunice, I do that too, when someone gets in a cleaning streak, I too have to do it. LOL. Great job on waking up with DOM's and today's HiiT Pyramid. So glad you gave your all.

Pam, Sounds like the Outer Banks for vacation will be a lot of fun. Would this be a family reunion? Enjoy! Great job on this morning's disc plyo legs. Challenging is a good thing.

So funny!

Julie, That's kind of you to give blood. Great job on Cardio Supersets. Don't feel bad about going down on your knees, you are not feeling well, you know. Get some rest tonight and have sweet dreams.

Take care everyone,

Janie

Julie Good for you giving blood. I am not surprised that you had to go on your knees for pushups so soon after giving blood. They usually say not to work out for 24 hours after giving blood don't they? I do hope that you were able to get rested up and are feeling much better. I hope you have a functioning washing machine now. It's so nice that you are able to borrow a car from your parents. It would have been hard to be without a car for so long! I guess I am going to have to try GS legs sometime soon, although the dread factor doesn't make it sounds so appealing!

Janie WOW! Those floors look absolutely gorgeous!! Joey did a fantastic job and you must just be thrilled! now you get to have fun putting some rugs on them. Great job on your back, chest and leg work, wow! So sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. I hope that you got a good rest and that helps to knock it out of you. It is such a bummer to be sick.
I think 20 pounds for flies is GREAT!
Well I guess the Outer Banks is kind've like a family reunion, but really just more of a family vacation. It's something that my DHs family has done for awhile. This will be the 4th time that I have done it with them. This time it was a gift from Doug's mom and dad. When his dad was dying last year he said that he wanted to do it for everyone for all of the support when he was sick.

My glutes are definitely feeling yesterday's plyo legs, but it's just a nice perfect amount of DOMs, not so much that I am moaning and groaning but enough to know that I worked it. I was so afraid for this mornings GS chest, shoulders and triceps since Julie the pushup queen was commenting on all of the push ups. So we finished with the chest work and I was thinking that wasn't too bad, we must be doing tricep pushups later. I got all done and was thinking that there weren't really that many pushups at all, I wonder what Julie was talking about. WELL, then I took out the disc and discovered that I had done Pure Strength chest, shoulders and triceps instead of GS!:confused: OOps! Oh well, maybe next time I'll get to do all of those pushups! I started with Hiit 30/30, then did the PS disc and finished with LIC abs. Now I need to go shopping and do some cleaning and cooking. My MIL, BIL, SiL and 2 nephews arrive tonight and everyone else arrives tomorrow. I may not be checking in for a few days, so keep up the good work everyone and I'll check in when I can!

Pam

I felt much more energized this morning. Maybe not 100% but pretty close. I did Legs & Glutes. I like that workout but sure could do without the explosive lunges/power scissors. Oh and my washer got fixed yesterday afternoon when I got home from work!!!:eek: I am so happy. The repair guy told me that it is a good thing my warranty was (barely) still active because the part cost $330 to replace. I told him that part last almost 5 years and I am hoping it will last another 5. He didn’t say anything to that which probably means it won’t.

Janie Great job on doubling up and getting chest, back, and legs in! That was quite a workout and I bet you were exhausted. That is so great that you are lifting heavier too! I hope you start feeling better soon. Oooo! I love your floors. I love how the two colors work together so nicely and it looks so seamless were they meet.

Pam Great job on PS chest & Triceps + 30/30 + LIC abs! I was reading your comments that you didn’t think there were that many pushups and wondering what the heck I was complaining about. Then I snickered when you said you did PS instead of GS. There is a slight difference in pushups between those two. I think PS does 24 total and GS does 72 total. Oh well, you still got a great workout. They did tell me no heavy lifting for 48 hours but I really should have picked something a little less intense. I keep telling myself that one day I will learn. One day has not arrived yet. Enjoy your time with your in-laws!

Have a great day!

So sick last night! Didn't get to bed until almost 4:00am. My body just finally let go and succumbed to sleep. Taking a rest day today and will be going into the hot tub for reading. That should help some. I'm grateful I'm still alive! lol:D Oh, all these little cough drops are packed full of sugar, but it does help the throat temporarily. Can only hope for the con't weight loss.

Pam, I'm going to look up Outer Banks. It sounds so heavenly especially when Doug's father gave it as his last gift. How wonderful is that by the way? Wow. That story touched me down to my soul. Yea for your DOM's in your glutes. No DOM's here on my part.LOL So funny about your comments on push ups with PS chest shoulders and triceps instead of GS. I'm glad I'm not the only one. LOL You are so funny! Great job on HitT 30/30, PS disc and LIC abs. Whew! You are doing so well. Enjoy the family today and tomorrow. Sounds really busy, and wonderful.

Julie, Great job on L&G. I remember those lunges/power scissors. O MY! You did good. Yea! You finally got your washer fixed! Yea! I hope that part will last 10 years. ;) Yes, my Joey is a perfectionist and when he does anything it is always wonderful. I'm so lucky to have him.

Take care,

Janie

Pam I tried to have some good comfort food for DH it didn't work though  I had white turkey chili instead, I didn't put the beef on time to cook in the slow cooker, I mean I did but it wasn't going to be ready for dinner so we will have it tomorrow, oh and also I'm going to make fennel soup, a friend of mine cooked it today I got it to try it and it was so good, all I know about fennel is that it taste like licorice but the soup was so good..... hahahha that is so funny about the noises mine are were more like grasping air at that moment.:p:eek: Yes, Brandy did it twice the first time half way only because of school then she did the whole thing the second time, she refuses to do Cathe just because I love Cathe. Good job doing plyo leg disc 32.
By now I know you are in your vacation so enjoy have fun.

JulieSorry to hear that you didn't feel good, hey! anyways you did cardio super sets good for you.Oh, cleaning is just good for a little bit then I have to do it all over again, so nothing to feel bad about it.... DH got in touch with the school in 29 Palms they are going to tell us what classes does she need in order to graduate on time. Yay!! for the washer!! have fun now!

JanieI love your pictures the floors are looking very nice, love it! You did pretty good doing double workout, you are doing awesome matching Cathe with those big babes!!! Good on you! sorry that the nutty cold is getting you, take easy, rest, when you get better you will get back on to workout. Lets not to get into cleaning mode to often then, if not we are going to be busy cleaning all of the time. hahaha:p

Pam so funny what had happen to you with the workout, you were waiting for all those pushups and thinking of Julie the pushups queen:p:p Wow! you did good 30/30 +PS then abs... have fun!

JulieGlad to hear that you are back and full of energy! good job doing legs & glutes and good for your washer too.

Yesterday I did disc 8 back/triceps I didn't do abs (again) I did extra sets of back and triceps work but NO it didn't work NOT sore today I was hoping for a good sore back but not such of luck:confused: Then it was a sad day for me I don't know why but I started to listen a song the when I was little and it just hit me, it remind me a old boyfriend:eek::confused: I know very embarrassed:confused: and for some reason I just wanted to cry:( I didn't had a bad childhood though, so it was very weird.... Today was rest day DH got back from the field so we are going to take it easy the rest of the day, I did order the Fever Saturday Night" NOT good, we discovered that it was rated "R" DH said, this movie is so old that I don't think is the same R as it is now, well with the girls we couldn't watch past 5 min, to much the "F" word :( Oh, well next time I have to make sure the ratings, the sad thing is that I did watch a clip on you tube and it wasn't that bad, of course they didn't play all the bad words.
I thought to share the song is in spanish but I think you would get the point.

This morning I was so happy to wake up and it be Friday. I am ready for the weekend. I did MMA Kickbox. Probably my least favorite of the MMAs and of all Cathe’s kickbox but I do like the 3rd combo. I am supposed to go pick my car up today. So excited!

Janie Oh my, I can’t believe you were up all night being sick. You went to bed after I was already up and working out, poor thing. Don’t worry about the sugar or the scale right now. You need to focus on getting better. Even if you gain a pound or two, I bet it will come off really quick once you are better.

Eunice Great job on disc 8! So sorry for the lack of DOMS. I know how much you enjoy them. So sorry about the memories. That happens to me sometimes too. I don’t know why but I tend to tear up at the stupidest little things that are not even that sad. I hope you are feeling better today. I’ve never seen Saturday Night Fever. I think I started watching it on TV one time but didn’t see the whole thing. Of course, the TV wouldn’t have had all the cuss words either. I’m glad you guys are getting all of Brandy’s school stuff figured out.

Have a great day!

Tonight was Low Intensity Step with weight work on shoulders, calves and abs. I got through the Step workout with modification because of the choreography, but only went through 4 rounds on the shoulder weight work. My strength zapped out when it came time for calves and abs. There was no way.:( Haven't been coughing enough to take cough drops so it seems I'm getting better. My throat isn't sore. On the good side, I went food shopping and wore my size 6's today. Just a tad snug, but that's OK. Yeah! I lost another pound, sure is confusing how weight loss occurs, but hey, I'll take it!:D

Eunice, Love the song in Spanish, thanks for the link. Great job on yesterday's disc 8 back/triceps. I've come to belive since I don't get DOM's all that often and still getting really good results, it's OK if you don't feel them all the time.:) In my case I rarely feel them at all. Memories, especially with songs attached to them are what we are made of. Recalling them sad or happy, we all do it, it's life. Oh, I'm sorry about the f word in the movie. I forgot all about that. Darn, it's a good movie too. You are right, I won't get in the habit of cleaning or else I might have to all the time.:DLOL

Julie, Great job on MMA Kickbox. Enjoy your day with your car. That is exciting.

Pam, Have a great time where ever you are.

Take care everybody,

Janie

Julie I'm glad you were happy for Friday, its a big diff isn't? Good job doing MMA:kick box I am with you I don't think I use this one to often at least is in the rotation but since I'm doing my own rotation I haven't pick that one in so long... wow, this week was full of good thing for you your washer and car getting ready, good for you. being sad was just a thing of one day, then I ask my self why? why? why? there is not a single reason to be sad about.. but you are right sometimes it just happen.

JanieGreat job doing Low Intensity Step even with modifications still work, and you are the perfect example of that, congratulations on wearing your size 6 jeans oh boy! that must feel sooooo good! Also I'm glad that your throat is getting better, I feel like I have mine stacked somewhere in my head, this morning I felt like if I had sinus but I don't weird! that's right we are made of of memories happy or sad we have to take them and deal with them. I have to watch the movie again maybe just forward the bad parts and see oust the shaking booty part:D Today I had to clean a bit again, just a little bit though.

Today I did STS total body, I did my best going heavy I talked me self into it and I did it I even had to pause the dvd for a bit because of my heart rate wash up there and if I wanted to keep the same weight for the second round I had to, it was good I couldn't do all of the push ups even on my knees so at the very end I add them up again:eek::rolleyes::roll eyes: I know I am crazy that way!
Have a lovely weekend ladies see you all later.:D

Today I finished my shoulders, calves and abs. Yesterday Joey and I took our huge couch apart and packed it to take to the beach house. I had a surprise waiting for me when I got up this morning. Joey unpacked my spinning bike and was putting it together. I was so excited. Tonight was trying to get acquainted with the bike and could only do a steady state for about 20 min. Man, it's a lot harder than I expected. Whew! It's also because I'm still a little sick and getting better. Also didn't do the cardio part of BC but did do biceps and triceps. Was a lot of strength work, and little cardio, but will catch up on it tomorrow. I'm pooped. Joey will go to the beach house tomorrow and when he's done doing some work will call for me to come over. Will move our kitty and a few other things and will stay there for a much longer period of time. Will also move some weight over and stuff like that so I can workout like I do here.

Eunice, Great job on STS Total Body. Oh I know what you mean when you have to stop the DVD to get your heart rate back down. Whew! I think you did such a terrific job.

Take care everyone,

Janie

Tonight was 4DS HIS with weight on back and chest. I managed to equal with Cathe all the way through the weight work. Cardio was another matter. I fudged a lot of it but was able to keep going for the entire time. Got my heart rate up and sweated.

Take care,

Janie

JanieGood job finishing shoulders/calves/abs.:D Are you being spoil? nice enjoy your bike. Also for doing 4DS HIS doing the whole thing, you are doing awesome love that you can match Cathe with the weight, cardio, don't worry weights make your heart rate go up and that counts as cardio as well.

Today I did disc 19 chest/shoulders/triceps + abs over load week, so good I love the heavy weight.
Have a nice day everyone.:D

Another semi-busy weekend. Friday afternoon I got to pick up my car. They were able to get a used transmission and it cost $1200. Guess I’ll need to watch my spending for a while. Saturday morning I did GS Back, Shoulders, and Biceps, and then DH cleaned, ran errands, and did laundry. Sunday morning I did GS Legs and more laundry and then just was lazy the rest of the day. I probably could have checked in yesterday but I was having too much fun laying around with my dogs.

Janie Great job on LIS w/ shoulders! Some days we just don’t have the energy or strength to do the entire thing but I’m proud of you for giving it what you had. Yea!!! I’m so glad you have your spin bike. You definitely need to work up to using it. Great job on calves, abs, bis & tris from 4DS! Probably a good thing to skip the cardio since you are still feeling icky. You must have been feeling great to keep up with Cathe on the weight work for back and chest. If I remember correctly, she does 60+ pounds for those rows. That is really awesome! How exciting that you guys are getting things moved in and settled for an extended stay at the Beach House. Have fun.

Eunice Great job going really heavy on STS Total Body! I have really enjoyed going really heavy on the Gym Styles and just taking longer breaks to get my heart rate down for the next set. You are awesome for tacking on those pushups at the end. Great job on disc 19! Plus getting your ab work in. You are such a good girl for adding those abs on!

Have a great day!

I heard on the news that taking calcium tablets now has risks. It can cause heart attacks and strokes...I looked up the research they did and it's true.:( The researchers had these results from last year! Even asked my doctor if this is true, she said there are studies who support it. Dang!

We talked about a diet with 1200 mg of calcium in the food. Been struggling to balance this into my diet, (yogurt, collards black strap molasses, sesame seeds...) but found out today that I'm back to 133 pounds. Will have to cut down to find the right portion for me and still have enough calcium to protect my bones. I think it was the yogurt that got me into trouble and/or perhaps the greens and will cut them in half to see what happens.

In the mornings I do take a multivitamin that has 200 mg of calcium in it. May have to take an extra 1/4 of a calcium chew in the middle of the day so I don't go overboard on the eating. Been on these things for years and years and do feel their effects. Heart palpitations, itchy skin especially around the feet and a little around the hands...some of the symptoms of calcium intake. What surprised me is that my hands and feet last night were itchy from plant based calcium. Hmmmm. I'll figure it out.

Hypochondriac me I guess. "The idea is to die young as late as possible." I truly believe in that quote from Ashley Montagu. Once I reach my weight goal, will again put it in my signature.

Planning on a HiiT tonight to try and lose that extra weight I gained. Tomorrow will be my rest day.

Eunice, Yes, I'm being spoiled by my Joey. I love how he loves me. Great job on disc 19 chest/shoulders/triceps and abs. You are doing so well.

Julie, Yea, you have your car back. Must be so nice to get back to normal. Oh, but what a price to pay. Dang! Great job on Saturday's GS back, shoulders and biceps. Cleanmax is contagious. LOL:) And Sunday's GS legs and more clenamax. Enjoy the rest of the day you deserve it. Yes, feelling real good about keeping up with Cathe. Oh yes, she and I used 62 pounds on those rows.

Take care ladies,

Janie

Julie Great job doing GS Back/shoulders/biceps then Sunday doing GS legs, are you taking a day of rest during the week? or you are working out 7 days per week? Probably if I was you the last thing I would wanted to do was checking in after that busy weekend. I bet your dogs were having a lt of fun I know Sam loves to be in family when we sit to watch a movie he has to be with us laying next to us. Well, at least you have a car now, sure, you are going to have to watch your expending, I don't think yours is as bad as mine:confused:

Janie That is always something bad, isn't? Always we have to be aware of second effect and sometimes can be more devastating than the first ones.
I don't think greens make you aging weight probably yogurt? what king of yogurt do you use? taking calcium helps to control appetite? take care, good thing that you do know the symptoms and you know how to fix it. :D Enjoy doing HiiT and your rest day too.

PamI hope you are NOT having to much fun:p:p JK!!!!! miss you!

Today I did disc 20 legs all I'm going to say is ouch! ouch! ouch! and I love it, of course because I'm done but this morning before I started working out I was kind of dragging it, awful, the garage is so freezing cold, I don't really want to go in there, the good thing is that after a few min I start getting nice and warm, hot, then is when I enjoy my workout.
Also girls..... guess what?....... Pam you need to work in your recipe to submit to Cathe..... I did submit another recipe last Thursday and I got pick to be in the spotlight this week, and today I got my gift certificate:D:D:D oh yeah! oh yeah! well, you all know that I really don't need any other dvd, so I did it to get a few dvd's for my sister I'm going to get her 4 dvd's and I'll get a shirt for my self.

Have a nice day everyone.:D:p

This morning I did my last round of Gym Styles Chest & Triceps! No more drop set pushups!! I really pushed myself this morning but also since I didn’t get the best sleep last night, I didn’t do so well on some of the triceps exercises. At least that’s the excuse I’m going to use.

Janie I’ve heard about the possible dangers of calcium supplements as well. I think Cathe even included an article in her newsletter a month or so ago on it. I still take calcium supplements but I split the supplement up and take ½ in the morning and the other ½ in the evening. From my understanding those studies are not necessarily saying the supplement itself is what is wrong, it is that the body cannot handle the large amount of calcium at one time that comes from taking the supplement. That is why I split mine up. Of course, you have to do what you are comfortable with. Hope you enjoyed your HiiT.

Eunice Great job on disc 20! I hate those days when I have to talk myself into working out. Usually those workouts that I dread are ones with endless reps, low ends, or pushups. Congratulations on winning again! You are so creative with coming up with recipes to submit. I’m not much on coming up with things on my own. No way am I working out 7 days a week. I’m crazy but not that crazy. I took a rest day yesterday. I usually take my rest day on Sunday but the last couple weeks I have been doing GS Legs on Sunday and resting Monday. It was kind of nice so I may look into changing my rotations for the future to work out Tuesday through Sunday with Monday off. We’ll see.

Have a great day!

Yesterday instead of 30/30 Rolly and I went for a walk in the woods for about 40 min. Sickness seems to be gone. Did HiiT 30/30 with less modifications. Love improving, so powerful to me. Sweaty mess. Yea! I think I've got the calcium thing understood now. Not taking any more supplements with calcium in them at all (found lots of foods that are rich in calcium and all the vit. you need in a multi-vit. tablet) and relying and tweaking just a bit, yet again the Paleo Diet to include Calcium rich foods. Have to watch portion size but I think I've got it! I'm so grateful. This diet and nutrition thing (along with new research in the news) is such a challenge, love to solve the puzzles with lots of help from here, the forums and internet searches. Whew! Ordered two fig trees for the property and also a vegetable called komatsuna or another name is Japanese mustered spinach, both very very rich in calcium. Found out that dates also has a lot of calcium in them. I use it along with the Black strap molasses to sweeten things. Hmmmmmm I'm having fun and the worry wort in me is over.:D What drama will I come up with next! LOL

Eunice, Yeah, there always seems to be something bad going on. But if it involves me I do research. LOL;) I agree, I was so upset trying to get calcium in me that I ate too much yogurt. I make my own yogurt. I start off with Live culture Greek yogurt and buy organic milk and make about 8 or so cups in my dehydrator. Takes about 4-6 hours. Tastes so good! You can get the cultures also at a health food store. Costs about the same either way. I need calcium for my poor old bones.:) Great job on disc 20 legs. Oooo, if you are saying ouch, you did a good job on them! I saw you as spotlight for the recipe of oats. Hmmmmmm makes me think about recipes. Congratulations! That is so sweet to give DVD's to your sister with your gift certificate. You are so kind to do that.

Julie, Great job on your last round of GS chest and triceps. Pushing yourself is good, hope next time you get more rest.

Pam, sure do miss you.

Take care ladies,

Janie

Julie Woohoo!! you are done with Gym Style.... god job doing chest & triceps I'm sure you did enjoy doing all those pushups:p I know it is hard when we don't get a good sleep the night before:eek: I find that sometimes when I have to talk to my self into working out I do enjoy the most doing the workout that at the end of the workout I'm soooooooo glad I decided to do it. Good to know that you have a day rest whew! girls for a moment I thought that you were a little just a little crazy if you didn't:p if you have the chance to change your days for working out and having one day in the middle or at the beginning of the week is always refreshing for your mind and body.:D

Janie Good job doing the walk with Rolly, nice to hear that the sickness is almost gone also for doing 30/30 with less modifications that speak really good about your self you are getting very fit. Love to be sweaty, drippy, red, hot, pump!! you are very funny about resolving your puzzle calcium problem, so what kind of supplements with out calcium did you found? I talking to DH about it and he was saying that it is really hard to OD on veggies with calcium is only if you mix with something else, (I don't remember with what) but yeah, glad that you have all figured out, mmmm fig trees, and mustered spinach  I wonder too? what's next? just kidding!!! I love greek yogurt too but I get mine at Safeway though, I think I need to start cutting on that one too.... You should submit a recipe too, I think Cathe need more because mine was picked right away!!!

So today I decided to do after burn (I got this one for my sister) OMG! my legs still swell, all that blood pumping through my body OMG! My butt is sore big time sore probable I'm going to be feeling it tomorrow or maybe that one will help my legs to release the DOMS and feel better afterwards. I hope my sister can survive that one.

Have a nice day everyone.

This morning I did HiiT Double Wave Pyramid! My face was as red as Cedie and Deazie’s shirts by the time I was done. I also did the core work from MMA Boxing. I’ll do the rest of MMA Boxing tomorrow.

Janie Great job on your walk with Rolly and HiiT 30/30! I love seeing those improvements too! You are really working hard. So glad the cold is gone too. Oh, I love figs! You are so lucky to live in a climate that will support their growth. I think I looked into a fig tree and it wasn’t recommended for my area. I’m glad you figured out the calcium issue. You sound like you have a good plan.

Eunice Great job on Afterburn! I hope it did help release the DOMS! Does your sister workout now? If not, maybe tell her to start with the single interval premix or the halfsies premix. I still have GS Back, Shoulders, and Biceps to do but I figure I got the hardest of the GS out of the way with getting Legs and Chest done earlier this week. I’m still debating about whether to change my rest day from Sunday. Having a rest day in the middle of the week kind of messes up the alarm schedule. DH and I get up at the same time but if I take a rest day during the week, I sleep in an hour or so and sometimes that hour isn’t good quality sleep because he has woken me up when his alarm goes off. Still thinking on what to do.

Have a wonderful day!
