Strength in Numbers

This morning was 4DS Kickbox! I really do not like holding the barbell in front of me for front squats. It is really uncomfortable. But I sucked it up and just did it for the 2 sets of 12 reps. I have a feeling I will be feeling some quad DOMS later.

Pam Great job on Step Moves and ME abs after your travels back home! I hope you are adjusting to your time again. That is so sweet that you missed us. We missed you too and are glad you are back to work it now! Great job on MIS! An oldie but a goodie is so true for this one. Shaky arms always remind me how hard I’ve worked. Actually sometimes, it is fun just to hold them out and watch them shake. That is until they get too tired and I have to drop them down to my sides again!

Marta Oh, I’m so sorry to hear about your job. That is such a horrible thing to do with contract employees. You would think he would not want to have to keep hiring (or contracting) new people and having to go through the training process every couple years. What area of work are you in? I will be praying that you find something soon.

Cheryl Great job on PUB! That’s a bummer that the bootcamp class was using all the free weights. Seems like maybe the gym should have invested in special weights for the class. You know, when DH does bench presses and flyes, he always tells me he isn’t feeling anything in his chest, but the next day he is a little sore. Actually with pushups, I tend to feel it more in my arms and shoulders than my chest no that I think about it. I’d be interested to hear what your instructor says about not feeling it during the workout. I was actually able to stay awake for my meetings. Luckily I slept a little better last night so today should go better.

Janie Hope you enjoyed your rest day! They are especially wonderful when you truly feel like you needed it, like you did. Sometimes, on my rest days I am antsy and figure maybe that means I wasn’t working it too hard earlier. Maybe not though.

On the 4DS series, I can only do LIS and Botcamp...I can't do any kickboxing and the coreography of HIS for me is difficult...


Today is a national holiday here in Portugal so I did some cleaning and in the afternoon we went for a walk and after went to visit my 1 year old nephew; he's such so cute and always smiling.

Janie Enjoy your rest day, they are just as important as working out. Interesting that you don't feel your chest muscles either. I will let you know what I find out.

Pam Head massages feel soooo good. Those make me feel sleepy too. I think a sticky on the front of the DVD will remind you to do the abs first. We have a gym in our building that everyone can use. That was the first time I had been in it though. I will try for a bit later the next time I go down there. Good job on MIS, that was my first Cathe weight workout and I really did see results from it. Those crazy 8s are crazy aren't they :D.

Julie Way to go on 4DS Kickbox. I like holding the barbell in front for squats because it works your quads differently. Funny that some people don't feel the work in their chest. I will let you know what my teacher says. Glad that you slept better. That always makes for a long day when you don't.

Marta Good job on Muscle Max, it is a good workout. I can't believe your boss would rather replace employees than hire them permanent. I would think that as an accountant you would be able to find a job without too much problem. I always think of companies that need someone doing their books for them, but I could be wrong on that. I know the economy everywhere is tough. I found the step work in HIS difficult too, normally I can pick it up by doing it a couple of times. That one took much longer but once I got it it was fun. Keep trying you will get it :D. I hope you enjoyed your day off.

Today I took off as it is really hard to get up at 4am more than two days in a row for me :confused:. I will be back at it tomorrow.

Yesterday I did Gym Style Legs. Every time I do them I get nauseous towards the end and it lasts the rest of the night. Wonder why? I know I give it my all until failure, but... I've heard of this through the Biggest Loser, but is it true, or did I just eat a little too much melon during dinner? I waited 4 hours before I did the exercises. Hmmmm

Pam, Fantastic job on MIS. I love the kind of workout you did. I do my workouts just like that, until you just can't do it any longer.:D Good for you! It's like I'm a bowl of jello afterwards. LOL:confused: So glad you got your rest last night. I went to bed a little earlier last night about 11 pm and woke up at 5 AM and couldn't get back to sleep. Hmmmm

Julie, Sometimes I feel antsy during a rest day and that's when I do a long long cardio. It doesn't happen very often. I think it means your getting even more fit. Fantastic job on 4DS Kickbox. I don't like that way of holding the bar either, depending hoe much weight I need to use, I either add on a vest or put the weight on my shoulders. Y2 sets of 12 reps is really good. How much weight did you hold for squats on those long reps?

Marta, Fantastic job on MM this morning, one of my favorites too.:) That's what is so cool about Cathe's workouts, you grow into them and in the mean time they are very challenging. I change it up so often that every workout to me is a challenge. :D My body never knows what is going to happen next. Sounds like a lovely day; a little cleaning and visiting people you love. Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Julie Great job on 4ds kickbox and good luck with the quad DOMS. I don't mind holding the barbell that way as long as it isn't for too long. My arms do get tired though. I'm still trying to adjust back to eastern time. Lsat night I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Of course it didn't help that Shorty threw up in our bedroom right around then! our suitcases were still on the bedroom floor too and after he threw up he decided that he needed to lick the luggage tag on the suitcase. I had to get up and move it so that he couldn't get to it. You are so funny, holding your arms up and watching them shake! It certainly is proof that you have worked hard!

Marta Great job on MM! I love that one too. You have a great set of skills that are very portable, so I'm hoping for you that you are able to find a new job very soon. I can't imagine trying to find a new job in the current economy so I'm sending lots of good vibes your way! Aw, it sounds like you had a nice holiday, I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

Cheryl OMG, I hate the crazy 8's. And 2 sets of them in MIS. I had to drop to some dumbbells to lighten up on the second set.
I don't blame you for taking yesterday as a rest day. I always took Wednesdays off when I had to get up at 4:30 because I just couldn't do it that many days in a row either.

Janie Great job on GS Legs! Hmmm...getting nauseous near the end doesn't sound so good. It sounds like you may be just pushing it really hard?! I remember talking to a cyclist who was training for the Olympic trials one time and he said that they all kept a bucket beside their bikes to throw up in.... :rolleyes: Yikes! oh yes, great big bowl of jello after some of these weight workouts!
I hope you enjoyed your trip to Costco and 2nd handing. Hopefully you got some nice SLEEVELESS tops to show off your muscles!

Eunice I hope you are doing well and aren't too crazy busy! I'm guessing if you are you are still finding a way to get some workouts in too! We miss you!

This morning I had planned to do Intensity, but after the 3 am wakeup I was second guessing that plan. I decided to do the step+boot camp pre-mix. It was only 49 minutes instead of the 56 minutes of the whole thing and not quite so intense. That worked out well. i have some nice upper body DOMS today. Just enough to know that I got a good workout, but not so much that I am wincing in pain with every movement! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Last night DH got home very late from work (like after my normal bedtime). Since I couldn’t sleep knowing that he would be getting home and waking me up, I ended up getting to bed about 2 hours past my normal time. I am exhausted but I did 4DS Bootcamp. I usually consider the cardio portion of 4DS BC pretty tame (for Cathe) but I was struggling today. There was all kinds of whimpering going on. And with every weight we picked up during the weight portion, it felt like 100 pounds. I can’t believe how close I am to being done with my 13 week Cathe Through the Times rotation. 3 weeks left of Shock Cardio, the post-STS 4 pack, and the Low Impact Series. Crazy!

Marta Great job on Muscle Max! That is probably my favorite total body weight workout. One of my first Cathe purchases too. That’s a great attitude to have that it is your ex-boss’ loss not yours. This just opens you up to better possibilities.

Cheryl You are so good at listening to your body. I wish I could do that. If I could, I think I would have slept in today. I’m definitely going to bed early tonight. I have HiiT scheduled for tomorrow and there is no way that can be done after a sleepless night. I think what I don’t like about holding the bar in front of me for squats is that it hurts my collar bone. I know that means I am probably holding it wrong but I just can’t seem to get it down. I like how it feels in my legs though.

Janie Great job on GS Legs! I am not sure what is up with the nausea. Maybe it is from lying down for the exercises at the end. I don’t think it has to do with eating too much melon 4 hours before doing it. 4 hours is more than enough time to wait before exercising. However, the flip to that could be that since GS Legs is long and pretty exhausting, perhaps your blood sugar level is dropping due to not having eaten for 4 hours (which is almost like working out in a fasted state). You could always try to break up the standing and floor portions to two different days or by a few hours with a small meal in between. Hmm, I may have to try the vest thing for the front squats. I was using 40 pounds for the front squats but I am thinking the vest might cushion my collar bone which is where I am having the problem holding the weight (it digs in and hurts a little).

Pam Great job on subbing in a shorter/less intense premix when your body told you too! That is by far probably the worst way to get woken up. There have been so many times, we have been woken up in the middle of the night to the sound of one of the dogs throwing up. That is so weird that he licked the luggage tag. Must have tasted yummier than what he just threw up. Not much in the way of quad DOMS today, they are a little sore but I sadly was hoping for more. Sad, I know!

Hi Martha I haven't welcomed you yet, welcome to the group I'm Eunice, I live in Australia at the moment, but we are going back to US this coming Oct. I have being doing cathe for almost 5 years I love Cathe she is the best...

Cheryl It was really good day, I mean nothing to be in a hurry we slept in, workout, did some basic things around the house, cook dinner, and that was basically it. But nice I love when I don't have to be worry about being ON TIME" I guess I'm lazy:confused::eek: Good job doing PUB and abs. sound awful that the gym was busy and threw you off, I wonder why your friend wasn't feeling anything where she was supposed to feel? Maybe your other friend will feel it better.

JanieGood for you for taking the day off. Good job doing Gym Style legs. some times it happen to me as well I get sick of my stomach but it doesn't last to long, I wonder what was happening with you?

PamGood job doing MIS. Thanks for missing me, I'm still getting my bootie kicked by Cathe, that's for sure. Good job doing Intensity premix sounds like a good plan when you don't feel to confident about the whole thing a part of it is as good as the original. Talking about DOMS DH is so funny right now he took his guys for a walking lunges workout and he did them too, so right now he is on DOMS heaven according to Julie maybe not according to him because I had being spanking him just for fun and he is not very happy about it.:rolleyes:

Wednesday I got up late so I decided to do LIS Step challenge, it went really fast :confused: Yesterday I did the last weight workout of the 3 month rotation I cannot believe that I did "almost" the 3 1/2 month rotation :confused: Oh well anyways I did disc 34 I think chest/back and today I have DOMS on my back :eek::eek:very pleased surprised that my back got a good work, now my chest is not that bad just a little bit sore.
Today I didn't workout I took the day off tomorrow I think I have after burn or athletic training either one is good.
I'm planing on doing STS again but this time I'll alternate the mesos example, week 1 meso 1 disc 1,2,3 week 2 meso 2 disc 1,2,3, week 3 meso 1 disc 4,5,6, week 4 meso 2 disc 4,5,6, and on and on and on then when I finish it I'll do meso 3 straight I hope I can stick to it.

Julie Oh so sorry you had a lousy sleep, but great job getting 4ds bootcamp in anyway. I actually find that cardio pretty intense, but because it's so short doesn't seem too bad. It does seem like your 13 week rotation is going by fast! I hope you got a good rest last night.
Oh yes, you have to love the middle of the night puking huh? I got our carpets cleaned a few weeks ago and that night was awoken by the sound of a cat puking on the freshly cleaned carpet. So nice! shorty is weird - he loves to lick paper and plastic. I think he would lick a plastic bag for hours.

Eunice Hi there, nice to hear from you! Thanks for the welcome back. I didn't spend much time shopping in Portugal because at the beginning of the week I was just working and then DH isn't much of a shopper. I did get a set of pretty ceramic bowls that I will use for ice cream or pasta and some good olive oil. Also a nice bottle of Port of course! :D It is a really really beautiful place.
I had no doubt that you were still getting that booty kicked despite being busy! That is funny that your DH is complaining about his DOMS and tha tyou are spanking him :p My DH always likes to do that to me when I'm sore, so since he has been doing STS I have been returning the favor :D I'm not sure he appreciates it either!
great job on LISLIC, you must be getting that one down pat. Wow, 3 months has gone by already?! That was fast! great hob on disc 34 and congratulations on your DOMS. Don't tell DH or he will be getting you back for spanking him! Is that called the undulating STS rotation that you are planning to do?

This morning I decided to do Hard core extreme extreme interval circuit and it really kicked my butt. When I finished the second round of cardio I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do the third round! Luckily the third round isn't as intense and I made it through, but my whole body was literally shaking while I was doing the stretch. Wow. My face was as red as a tomato when I finished and I just wanted to stay laying on that floor! I guess the Intensity followed by HCE a couple of days after being gone for a week was a little optimistic! Especially while dealing with jet lag :rolleyes::confused: oh well, the good news is that it's Friday! Happy Weekend everyone!

This morning I did HiiT 40/20. I was a little nervous because I didn’t get good sleep last night but I made it through. It wasn’t my best performance but it wasn’t my worst either. I do love during the fast fee shuffle when Cathe tells me those are a gift for active recovery. Um, thanks!

Eunice Great job on LIChallenge and disc 34! Yea for the back DOMS! That is too funny you were spanking your DH while he was having major DOMS. Great job on finishing up that rotation too. Your STS rotation sounds really interesting. I can’t wait to see how it goes for you.

Pam Great job on HCE Interval Circuit! I think I’ve only done that one once or twice but it is a doozie. Glad you made it through. You are one tough cookie to do Intensity and this one only a few days apart. Hmm … maybe 4DS bootcamp doesn’t seem that intense to me because I am either not giving it my all or there are short breaks for setting up for the next cardio. It’s ok that I didn’t get quad DOMS. I woke up this morning with surprise triceps DOMS and that always puts a smile on my face!

I now know what it was that got me nauseous. Usually I eat about 5 shrimp with another protein for a meal, but I was extra hungry for some reason and ate about 8 or so of just shrimp again yesterday. Yep, too many for my GERD. GERD dictates how much to eat, and what to eat. I'm just glad that I figured it out. It's not hard to since I'm so limited on food. That's OK. I feel extremely grateful for that knowledge. Most people try to figure it out all their suffering days. It wasn't a rest day but will catch up today and tomorrow. Will post what I did later tonight.
I finally have DOM's in my legs. Started feeling them last night and woke up with them this morning. Yea! Not failing the toilet seat though.
Will be going to the Beach House this Sun.. Joey just called and did his thing so I can now paint the last room. The Living Room! Yea! Then onto flooring. We decided not to have carpets. You'll see, it will be lovely.

Update:
Tonight was Gym Style Back, Shoulders and biceps. I kept up pretty much with Cathe, except falling short on a few reps sometimes. Not too shabby.:D


Pam, Great job on Step+Boot Camp pre. Good alternative workout. During my shopping spree yesterday, I got a fantastic prom dress and matched it up with a slip that has a tank top look for under the dress. Hope I explained that OK. Any hoo, I'm going to make it shorter, hem it up and wear it to the hardly nonexistent dinners we go to, wear it to plays and perhaps to a wedding someday. It's gorgeous. Of course I got it at the second hand store for $19.99. Then onto summer tops. Bought a top (I'm 61 mind you) that is a bra type look that you tie in the back. Oh yea, but will have to find something see through to wear over it. Then the regular summer tops you see so often. Maybe whats next are sun dresses. I'm having fun. You can't really see the muscles yet, but I feel them a little bit trying to come through.LOL:D I'm just glad warmer weather is on it's way.

Julie, From being exhausted, I'm so proud of you for doing 4DS Boot Camp. When I don't have enough sleep workouts are really twice as hard to do. I have to comment on your "Through the Time Rotation", a brilliant idea! And only 13 more weeks to go. Awesome! Thank you for the time of your ideas about why I was nauseous. It's so nice of you to think that much about me. I do appreciate that. Thank you. About the bar hitting your collar bone, besides a vest there is a gadget that you can get to prevent that. It's like a hollow tube made from some kind of foam rubber of sorts. Works really well. It's called a barbell pad. After a while though, women can't pick up enough weight to bring over their heads, so a vest, will be a dear friend. Also maybe someone to help you get it over your head and down again, spot you will have to be done.

Eunice, Still haven't got the certificate, but they are looking into why I didn't get it.:( Thank you so much for whistling.:) Made me feel good! Great job on Wedn. LIS Step Challenge, STS disc 34 (congrats for the DOM's). Enjoy your rest day today. Oh, I do like the mix and match you are doing with the STS program. Awesome idea!

Hello Ladies!

Sorry I didn't pop up yesterday but got my workout in - Low Impact Circuit and today Step Fit

Today I woke up before 8 am even though I didn't have a specific time to wake up; I hate when this happens....so, I decided to go to my hairdresser and take care of me for a change ;) Got my manicure done and dyed my hair :eek:

In the afternoon was clean max and going to the supermarket to do some shopping for the house.

Hope the weather picks up because tomorrow I would like to go for a walk by the seaside; I'll keep my fingers crossed :p

So how was your Saturday? Hope you all had great workouts ;)

Julie Great job on 40/20, that one is such a killer, especially when you are not feeling top notch. I must say I like the fast feet shuffle gift better than those squat thrusts in Intensity! congratulations on those surprise tricep DOMS! :D

Janie Wow, that is something that 3 little shrimp can make such a big difference. It must be hard dealing with that terrible GERD, but it is nice that you at least know what you can and can't eat.OOOO, congrats on those leg Doms! I can't wait to see the beach house when you are finished.

This morning I did Step Fit. It's only the 2nd time I've ever done it and it was a lot of fun. I wanted something a little less intense after intensity and HCE! last night we finally went skiing for the first time this season. HOORAY!!! It was just Doug and I because the kids had other things going on, but we both skiied well, especially for our first time out, so we were pretty happy! I am feeling it in my back and shoulders today, but not as bad as I thought! I hope everyone is having a great day!

For some reason was really sleepy today. Didn't do a cardio. Weather permitting will do it at the beach tomorrow extra long. Of course will do chest and triceps before I leave for the beach.

Marta, Always nice to hear from you. Great job on LIC & SF. Love those two workouts. It's really nice to be pampered isn't it? Good for you. I'll be on the beach tomorrow as well. Will be thinking of you.

Pam, Great job on SF. Yep, I love that one too. OOOO skiing already. Good for you! You didn't waste any time. It does sound funny that only 3 extra shrimps can make such a big difference, but it must. I hate GERD, but I'm grateful that I learned how to control it. Most people and doctors don't know how to do it without meds. No thank you. I can't wait to wear Summer clothes on the beach!:D

PamThat is really nice that you were able to get a little something back from Portugal:D Oh, yes! they are such a baby's when they are on pain, I usually won pay attention to him or I'll say quit bragging (I know, I'm a mean girl) but this time I decided to get me some fun. I know 3 months are gone really, really fast and the time its running really fast, the time for us to go back home its getting closer as well. I think that is what its called but I couldn't remember the name "undulation" the last rotation was kind like that I really liked the results, even when I wasn't doing pretty good with my food, I like what i see in the mirror spatially my shoulders they are getting better!!!
Oh boy, you always picked the hard ones Pam, Hard core extreme whew!! Good for you, wow! if your whole body was shaking that means that you were really spent, good job Pam...Its being a LONG, long time ago since I did that one.
JulieGood job doing 40/20 you are getting there! the last rotation was almost like that and I really did like it, my shoulders are finally starting to show yay!!!! that's why I decided to give it another go.:p

JanieI'm glad that you figured out what was going on with the nauseas, Mr Joey its being working really hard in the house, I'm sure that when everything gets done you two will enjoy it so much. Have fun painting the room and everything else. yay!! for the legs DOMS, now you are just like us you are hoping for a good set of DOMS!!! Good job doing back/shoulders/biceps.

Saturday I went to the gym with DH and I did legs instead of cardio I decided to do another leg workout, I thought that I was going to get sore but I didn't probably next time I need to get heavier that's what I wanted to squat heavy but it is really tricky when I use to pounds then I get to use kilos:confused:
This week I'm just going to play a little with some of the dvd's we hardly use or "I hardly use" so today I did Kick punch & crunch I know Cathe uses this one a lot but I don't. tomorrow I'l see in what mood I'm in to.

Janie Sorry to hear you were so sleepy, I hope you have more energy today! We're actually later than normal skiing this year. We often start at the end of March, but things have been so busy that this was the first opportunity that we have had. It sure felt good but my biceps are STILL sore! Hooray for summer clothes on the beach, that sounds like heaven to me!

Eunice Nice to hear from you! I think it's so fun that you were giving your DH a hard time with his sore muscles. They think that we are exaggerating when we are in pain like that, so it's good for them to see what it is like! How long have you been in Australia? Has it really been almost 2 years already?! The time has sure gone by fast! That means we are getting close to the date for meeting up at a roadtrip! Hmmmm...you are making me think that I should try to undulating STS rotation. My shoulders get a lot of work from skiing though, so maybe I will put that on the calender in the fall after ski season is over.
Great job on your leg workout at the gym. It would be hard trying to do the pound to kilo conversion. I have a hard enough time remembering how many pounds to use for things :rolleyes:
I think it's fun when you have a week like you are having and just do whatever workout you feel like. That is what I did last week. Great job on KPC.

This morning I started FF Get ready for summer 2012 rotation, but I don't have any of the cardio coach workouts so I'm doing the all Cathe version. Thanks for pointing that rotation out Marta! The rotation started with Afterburn this morning and I'm guessing that my legs and glutes will be feeling it tomorrow! I can't believe how sore my biceps still are from skiing on Friday. Yesterday I couldn't even straighten my arms all the way without crying in pain. :confused: I'm not sure how Monday got here again so fast, but here we are. DH is in Vegas until Thursday so I'll have the house to myself for a few days. I hope everyone has a great day!

Saturday I did MMA Fusion! Go Turtle Spins! After that, it was a little cooking, cleaning, and the running errands. I did get some clothes shopping in. I bought a few sweaters from Kohl’s that were on clearance. One was $4.80! Anyway, on Sunday, DH and I did a little lazying around. It was cold and rainy so it was the perfect day to stay in bed and hibernate. This morning I did Circuit Blast. I think I overdid the eating yesterday during lazy day Sunday though because I was bloated and feeling bogged down this morning. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.

Janie Great job on GS BSB! Looks like you’re seeing improvements! That is so great! I’m glad you figured out what was going on with your nausea during GS Legs. I hope you got to feeling better—well more energized anyway. I’m glad you listened to your body though and relaxed when you were feeling sleepy. Enjoy GS C&T and walking on the beach! Great job on Afterburn! Hopefully doing the biceps curls in Afterburn with a lighter weight loosened up your DOMS. Enjoy FF rotation. It looks really good.

Marta Great job on Low Impact Circuit and Step Fit! I love both those workouts. I think Step Fit is probably my favorite of the older Cathe step workouts (Power Max is maybe tied though). Your morning of pampering sounds fun. Getting in “me” time is always important. I hope you got your walk in. You are truly lucky to be able to walk with beautiful scenery.

Pam Great job on Step Fit! Oh, yes, you deserved to scale back on the intensity after last week’s Intensity and HCE. Yea! Ski season is beginning for you. Hopefully, you guys will be able to get out a lot. If I remember right, wasn’t last year that the lake was low because of the lack of rain? Hopefully that won’t be an issue this year.

Eunice Good for you for working legs in the gym! That can have a cardio effect to it so it is almost like you got a leg workout plus the cardio. That would be really hard to have to try to convert kilos to pounds in your head. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it. Great job on KPC! That’s my favorite kickboxing workout so I tend to use that one a lot. Enjoy your week of your least used workouts.

Pam Almost 2 years, DH said that he will try to get us back the first week of Oct. so yesss I'm counting 5 months to go!!! Of course next year RT we have to plan and get together at Cathe RT :D:D I can't wait to go back. Lets do it together this time Pam, come on! its really good I really liked it. Maybe in a week your shoulders are going to be better from skiing and you won't notice as much, how cool that you got a good upper body workout from doing the ski if you got sore biceps and shoulders that means that you used them in a diff way and those muscles got a wake up call.:p I know but DH was with me and he didn't pushed me as he used to, the Gym was packed with guys, lots of them I was the only female there:confused: I have to go check FF rotation a long time ago I did one of hers rotations she used diff videos for every day workout. she is good. Good job doing After Burn... Enjoy the house all for your self!

JulieGood job doing MMA Fusion, I haven't done that one in a while so maybe I'll do that one tomorrow.;) Sounds like you did have the perfect day for a lazy day. I was thinking of you today wondering what DVD you were doing today I knew that you are getting closer to the newest series today I did Cardio Blast as well, good job!! I was thinking that after doing after burn and Cardio super sets Cardio Blast was easy, peasy! What do you think? Its true about legs and Cardio..

How funny that leg workout didn't get me as sore as I wanted, but KP&C got me nice and tender, not to too sore just perfect spatially my core and sides :p Today I did cardio blast and as I was saying I think this one was really easy after doing after burn and Cardio super sets.
Today I went to visit my neighbor the one that came from US she had the baby 2 weeks ago, we went to see the baby he is soooooo cute, and DH was holding him so cute, right when we got out of her house he got real closed to me and hugged me and looked it at me with those big puppy eyes, "are you sure you don't want to have another one?" ooooooo yes I'm pretty sure.

I haven't tell you guys but Astrid has a boyfriend and it looks like this one is the keeper he already bought her the ring, and OMG I don't approve this but looks like in June they are moving in together:eek: I know I supposed to be upset, mad, sad, but I'm not and I think that is weird, so far he looks pretty nice to her, I met him over Skype and he looks nice he was cooking.
They being talking about getting married in Oct, right when we get back.
I think the whole thing haven't hit me yet.... I don't know...... I'm just weird..... how I my suppose to react?.......

Julie Great job on MMA Fusion. It has been so long since I've done that one that I forgot all about the turtle spins! How could that be. I know you enjoyed them! Oh, don't you just love Kohl's? They have the best sales. hope you were feeling better yesterday! Yes, last year the lake did get really low. We were happy to see when we went on Friday that it has plenty of water now. That often happens near the end of the summer because we are almost always in a drought. I was a little worried about the lake because a lot of the ponds around here don't look like they ever recovered from last year, but it's all good for now.

Eunice I bet it's hard to believe that you only have 5 months left there, does it seem like the time has flown by to you? i'm definitely in for a Cathe RT next year, I can't wait! Did you see the picture that someone posted on FB from the first Cathe RT? It was so funny, only 11 people! my shoulders and biceps are feeling a lot better now, ready to punish them again this weekend! It's supposed to be in the 90's all week so I think we will be doing some skiing for sure. How was it being the only female in the gym? Did you feel self conscious, or was it ok? FF does do some good rotations. I don't think this one looks as hard as her last Get Ready for summer one that I did though, but maybe because i don't have the cardio coach workouts. she also has 2 rest days in it every week, but I'll probably only take 1....
Uh oh, better keep your DH away from that new little baby! Or take him over only when he is crying or has a really messy diaper! :p
Wow, that is exciting news about Astrid. How long have they been dating? How old is she? I think it's good that you like him and he sounds like he treats her well. I would recommend that they not rush into the marriage though, maybe live together longer.... I know a lot of people probably wouldn't agree with that advice, but I think it's a good idea! I think that as long as he is a nice guy who is good to her and she is happy then you are right to be happy for her!

Cheryl and Janie I hope you are both doing well!

This morning was supposed to be low max but I don't really like that one too much so I did the orignal Imax instead. I hope everyone has a great day!

This morning was Cardio Core Circuit. Oh boy, I don’t think that one will ever get easier. And why does round 4 have all hardest moves in it? Couldn’t they have been spread out a little.

Eunice Great job on Circuit Blast! That is funny that we did the same DVD. Oh yes, I agree CB is much easier than Afterburn or CSS. How long have Astrid and her boyfriend been dating? That is nice that they are waiting to get married until you get back. I know them living together before they are married may not be what everyone thinks is right but I personally think it makes sense. Living with someone gives you a sense of whether you are suited to be with that person in a married setting. Being able to live with someone gives you an idea of whether they are a slob and you can’t stand that or if they are a neat freak and you more laid back. I think the longer you live with someone before getting married the more you can learn about that person and maybe work out conflicts in living situations before getting hitched.

Pam Great job on Imax! I like the concept of Low Max but I wish instead of breaking down the step combos, she just would have done it like the Imaxes and done 10 intervals with no break down of the combos. The break down is what I think makes the workout drag. I’m glad your lake is looking good so far. Hopefully it will stay that way and not shrink. I do love Kohl’s. After all that shopping, we got $20 in Kohl’s cash. So now I have to go back and get something else!!

Pam That's all we are talking about 5 months left everyone is very ecxited about going back home..:D I did see the picture they all looked pretty young and a very small group too. Have fun this weekend and punesh those puppies, wow! 90's :confused: now we are getting freeze todays was pretty cold and Rachel went to a Camp I hope she doesn't turn into popsicle:p I actaully felt pretty good, not shy, or sef concious I got in I did what I wanted to do, oh I had to wait for the squat rack 2 guys used before me:rolleyes: that's all then in 2 seconds the gym was empty also guys are pretty loud when they are doing heavy weight, weirdos! :eek: I think DH got his mind set on the fact that we are NOT having more kids, he messes with me for a little bit then he doen't mention it again so I think we are good.
About Astrid she hasn't being dating for to long, before they started going out they were friends but I think they being dating for about 4 months? not that long, she is 21.. If I was there I wouldn't let her live with him they would just had to wait till they decide to get married but that's the thing I'm not there so she kind can do what ever she wants to.

Astrid has being dating for about 4 months? I think, I need to ask her because she didn't really told me right away about him... Every one has their opinions about living togeher or not, I think that the correct thing to do is date as long as they want, and get married before moving in together there is really no way to get to know someone 100% just by living together and people change all of the time so even when they don't show the "real me" they would eventually working out conflicts is a thing of every day even for a long married couple, remember we are not perfect so there its going to be always something to work on.
DH and I told her to wait but we cannot do much... :(:confused::eek:

Today Rachel went to a school camp it looks like its going to be freezen this weekend hopefully they don't get rain on top of the cold.
since this is my rest week I'm thinking about taking this day off but we'll see I have being doing real bad with food this week, last friday DH brought a lot of apples I cannot just let them go bad so I'd baked apple cobbler twice already:eek: and I ate both times, I tried to do the healthy version but still ohhhh!:mad::eek: something that I did real bad is eating it with vanilla ice cream so maybe I'll do something today don't know what yet...
