Today was Step Heat. An oldie but a goody. A rest day tomorrow.

Pam, Oh yes, I remember squeezing and concentrating on the muscles you are working. That is such a good idea. Now to try to remember it.:) Great job on Intensity. Wow that one is tough. However her gift matches the workout.:D Will here from you in New Jersey, enjoy your trip and be safe.

Julie, Great job on Low Max. That is a long one. Thank you for the information about Gym Style, I'll prepare for that. Me too, will lift heavy until I think this Fall. It's a great idea to concentrate on the muscle you are working and squeeze it. I'll be doing that as well.

Cheryl, Yea, so glad you are over that darn cold. Let us know how your read of Rich Shapero was, if you liked it or not. How are you getting all those things free? Sounds like fun!

This morning I did Muscle Max! Love that workout but then again it was my first Cathe weight workout. Last night I was working hard to get some things done around the house that I usually do on Saturdays because today we are supposed to go to a Dog Easter Egg Hunt, if it will stop raining.

Cheryl I am so glad you are done with that cold. It does stink that as we get older colds and aches and pains seem to bother us more and hang around longer. That is really awesome all the stuff you got on your walks. The weather must pretty nice too if you were able to get outside.

Julie great job on low leg max! I agree that that one really seems to drag. It's not one that I choose to pick up. I didn't pack any travel friendly workouts, or any workouts for that matter, but I do have my laptop and I just happen to have some Cathe workouts on it if I am in need of a fix :)

Cheryl Actually DH wasn't expecting disc 3 to be easy after doing discs 1 and 2 and after seeing how sore I am after doing a leg workout! In fact before he started he said he was going to do it with no weights because I was warning him to go light. My boss called me last week and apologized to me because he had to turn down a request for me to come to Paris in May to do a class. Oh yes, Paris in May would be nice...... Sigh.
I'm so glad you are over your cold! Wow, I can't believe all of the fee stuff you are getting, that is so cool! I can't believe it's the Playoffs again already either, yah sure went fast!

Julie great job on MM. I was supped to do that one this morning too but I wanted to do a quicker workout since i had to head to the airport. A dog Easter egg hunt??, that sounds interesting! I hope it stopped raining so you could go!

So as I said, I was supposed to do muscle max this morning but wanted something quicker so I could finish packing and head to the airport. I decided to do 30/30 and the core only premix from bootcamp. That was perfect to get me going. DH left early to take Ashely to visit Virginia Tech for the days since she. Is deciding on what college to go to next year. Now I'm hanging out at the Newark airport icing for my flight, only5 more hours......ugh. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Janie Good job on Step Heat. It will be a while until I will be able to read the Rich Shapero book as I have other things I need to read right now. I just get things free by walking down the street. I know of all the places where they like to give things out so I normally get at least one thing every week or so. This week everyone was out. I am sure if you went to Seattle's downtown core during lunch they would be doing the same.

Julie Good job on Muscle Max. Interesting a Dog Easter Egg Hunt. I hope it stopped raining for you. The weather has been nice around here but I get out on my lunch hour walks no matter how ugly it is outside. The cruise ships will probably be here in another week or two for their Alaska runs.

Pam Bummer that you didn't get a chance to go to Paris. I was there many years ago and I would love to go back. Maybe you will get a chance again. I had quite the profitable week with my free stuff. Yep it is the playoffs again but if the Canucks don't smarten up they won't get through the first round. Good job on 30/30 and the core only premix from Bootcamp. Yuck trying to kill time at an airport is no fun at all. Enjoy Portugal.

Since my cold sucked the energy out of me I wanted a tougher workout this morning so I did Afterburn. The spidermans got to me though but I will get my energy level back. After that it was some housework and laundry. I got a new Android phone a couple of weeks back so the company that I have my plan with gives tutorials so I booked one for this afternoon. It really helped with knowing everything my phone does. Then my parents came over for a visit after that. Tomorrow will be yoga and my bosu training, and then it is back to work :eek:.

Went to my nieces baby shower today and all but one of my sisters were there. Only one brother came, my big brother Alger.n And lots and lots of other nieces! It was sooooooo much fun! Tomorrow I go to the Beach House to paint the rest of the tip out and try to also paint the entry way. Will be back Wednesday. But, before I go will do Gym Style Chest and Triceps. Can't wait!

Cheryl, Seattle is so far from me now. But, I do remember free stuff when I went there years and years ago. Hmmmm, nice memories. Oh My, you did Afterburn while you are sick? You Poor Poor thing. Get some rest! Yep, housework is never really done, looks like you managed to but a dent in it though. Enjoy your visit with your parents.

Janie It sounds like your niece's babyshower was a lot of fun. Enjoy your time at the beach house and the rest of your painting. I was feeling a lot better when I did Afterburn. I still have a bit of a cough but otherwise I am fine.

So this morning it was yoga and my quads were feeling it after. Then I went and did two hours of Bosu training. Now my quads and butt cheeks are really talking to me now. I was dripping with sweat after we were done. It was a really good session though.

Pam I know I'm so late to this but I hope you are having fun. DH and I need for sure to get our romantic getaway and it needs to be soon before I get to old:confused::p We were planing on doing NZ but NOT we are going to save the money and do something else back at home the airplane tickets are awful expensive and multiplied by 5 its tom much money, when we get back we are going to need a few things for our place, I need a new bedroom set and still want to go to Mexico so I will save the money for that.

Julie Good job doing Gym style back/shoulders/triceps. WOW!!!! 20LB for overhead shoulder that is awesome and more because you did all of the sets!! good job! You are using good weights I really need to push you to share pictures of yourself missy!!:D:p Also for doing Low Max and the back DOMS. I found out that when I'm doing chin-ups I picture my self with big nice back muscles moving every time I do one pull up and it seems to work, lately I had being getting back DOMS.

Janie Good job doing 30/30, your welcome, so what goodies are you getting? Also for doing Step Heat. Sounds like fun a baby shower and now getting ready for the beach house have fun. Hopefully you got to do Gym Style Chest and Triceps before.

CherylYes, we like beans and we miss them when we don't have them for a while, I like to fried them and make burritos for lunch and for dinners ans for chillies a lot of use. I'm glad that you are over with that nasty cold it did hang around you for a long time, but thanks god you are better... You should go out for walks more often that's a lot of goodies you got. Good job doing AfterBurn wow!! Not an easy one to do after getting back from a cold but you did great. I haven't being sick or anything and I did that one on Saturday and I was spent that one always get the best of me for sure. Good job doing yoga and bosu training I hope you can walk tomorrow.:p:p


I don't know what happen to me I lost track of the time and being busy with the girls but now they went back to school and I hope I get back to my routine in no time.Last week I only worked out 4 days I was planning on doing something Sunday after coming back from the Kingdom Hall (that's how we call the place were we gather to study the bible) or church but not instead I did grocery shopping.
Today I did disc 7 chest/shoulders/triceps Sorry Julie I tried pretty hard to do all my pushups on my toes my my arms were on shock after doing shoulder presses I did some but not all, I was thinking about you and wondering how can you do it????? I did the crossover on my toes because that's the first set then the elmo half way, the 21's push ups only the second 7 because I didn't have to go all the way down:p My arms are feeling it, I did up my weight for biceps & shoulders for a few exercises and I could feel the knots on my biceps right after I was done, I had to drive Brandy to a town that take me 35Min and my arms didn't wanted to hold the steering wheel: confused:...

We got kind of lucky and the rain stopped for about 30 minutes on Saturday which was long enough for us to go to the dog Easter egg hunt. It’s an event put together by a local pet shop. They had picture taking with the Easter bunny, an egg hunt (the dogs didn’t care about the plastic eggs), and then raffles. We get a bunch of toys and treats for the dogs and the money goes raised goes to support the Foster Pet Outreach program. On Sunday morning I did a Stretch Max. After my stretch DH and I relaxed for a few hours before I had to go to his brother’s fiancé’s bridal shower.

Pam You are so good for getting a HiiT workout and core work in before heading to the airport. Enjoy Portugal!

Cheryl Great job on Afterburn! Oh boy, those spidermans get me every time too! That’s pretty cool that there was a tutorial class for your phone. I don’t think our company does that so it is pretty much learn on your own. Great job on yoga and bosu training. So do you do special exercises on the bosu to get those butt cheeks talking or is it just being on it in general that does the job? I’m interested because I have a hard time getting deep glute DOMS.

Janie Hope you enjoyed GS C&T! That one sure gets you good. You wouldn’t think so with only working 2 body parts and only 45 minutes long but Cathe packs a big bang for your buck in that one. Glad your niece’s baby shower was fun. Hope you get a lot done at the Beach House!

Eunice Great job on disc 7! You did awesome with the pushups on your toes. Disc 7 is the hardest of all the discs and I don’t think I get all those on my toes. There are like 187 pushups in Disc 7 so be proud of what you did. Those elmo pushups are the hardest. I have to go to my knees on those because otherwise I wobble around too much. Plus when you are working your shoulders with weights, it makes those pushups even harder. Thanks for the tip on the chin ups. I’m going to have to try to do that. I know I have read that you should also try to imagine pulling the bar down to your chest rather than pulling your body up to the bar. I always get so flustered when doing pull-ups though that I tend to forget all the tips and just try to breathe!

hi ladies, just popping in for a quick Hi from Portugal. I have nothing exciting to tell you though. I got here yesterday morning, took a shower and changed and came right to work. I spent the day until 6pm doing set up for the demo I am doing tomorrow. As always happens, what should've taken an hour took 7 :mad: Then i was so tired I went back to the hotel, had dinner and went to bed. I did manage to stay awake until about 9:30 so I slept great and didn't wake up at all. Now I'm back here working again. Hopefully tonight I'll get to at least leave the hotel for dinner. I have my big presentation tomorrow though - they are expecting more than 80 people - yikes:eek: I sure hope everything works for my demo. I am really nervous about falling off the stage too! They have this little carpeted stage and the carpeting is the same color as the floor. Yesterday during set up I stepped right off it without seeing it and almost fell so now I'm paranoid! It looks like everyone is doing great. I'll try to pop in again.

You are right about that one disc 7 is hard I didn't count the push ups but I trusted you!! My upper body got sore I can believe it my arms still in shock the DOMS haven't se in yet:eek: For the elmo pushups I do cheat a little bit you know because I have all of my dumbbells all out and about I did a little house for the ball so it won't move as if it was free, that's much easier but I still have to go to my toes half way through:p NO, try not to forget try to flex your lats right before you do a pull up that way they get the call and they wake up t assist you doing the pull-ups.

Hi Pam Becarefull with that carpet, wow!! how do you do with all those presentation? 80 people coming to see and hear you, that's must be nerve racking, I'm glad you got to rest though!!! I have a question did you took your camera? yes you know what I mean!! Take care and try to have fun too.

Today I have legs I supposed to do turbo barre but I'm not sure if should i do that one or do heavy leg workout? well whatever I do I will do it right.

Just a quick check in I did disc 6 legs and also core max 2 OMG I was regretting those low end "never end" pulses lunges whew!! but I did survived I notice that my back started to give me a little "pain" so I did added core I know I haven't being really good at it I need to work my core more often to help me stabilized with those heavy weights that I really like:) :) Ok, out see ya all!!!!

Eunice Ha ha no I really couldn't walk today. My quads and butt cheeks were really talking to me this morning. I must have burned off a lot of calories because I was soooo hungry this morning. Good job on disc 7 chest, shoulders and biceps. Those elmo push ups are really hard I normally need to go to my knees for that one.

Julie Glad that the rain stopped for the dogs easter egg hunt. Did you get a picture of the dogs with the Easter bunny? The dogs got a lot of stuff and it is for a really good cause. The tutorial class is really good. It is a one on one with one of the staff at the store and they go through the phone and what it does and answer any questions that you may have. They even said that if I have any more questions just to make an appointment and they will meet with me again. Well for the BOSU they started with us in pairs and one of you would stand on the bosu and then your partner would then start gently pushing you to see how well you could keep your balance. After that we did some drills, like jumping from one bosu to the next all the way down the line. You had to make sure that you were stable after the jump before you jumped to the next. The had us doing side lateral hops from one ball to the next. Walking planks from one ball to the next, walking tricep push ups all the way down the line of bosus. There were about 8 of them in a row. After that is was some strength work. So needless to say I was a bit sore especially in my lower region.

Pam Good luck with your demo tomorrow. I am sure that it will go well. The bad stuff all happened today.

Well today I did Gym Style Chest and Triceps. I didn't think I had worked them that much yesterday but I think I was wrong about that. I had a tough time with the workout today but I did it. Well I need to get some studying done.

Eunice Great job on disc 6 and core max! You are so good getting that core work in there. I’m bad at doing it too as an add on. I need to get better and try to get core work in 2-3 times a week. I think next time I do disc 7, I’m going to stabilize the ball up against a wall or use an extra riser to ground it for those elmo pushups. I don’t know how anyone in the crew managed to do them.

Cheryl Great job on Gym Styles C&T! That is a hard one for being only 2 body parts and only 45ish minutes. There was someone taking pictures of the dogs with the Easter bunny and I am supposed to get an email with the picture (hopefully soon). Wow! I can’t believe all they had you do in the Bosu class! Good job doing Gym Style Triceps chest, I was wondering was is it that when you do think you din't work that hard the next day you get pretty sore and when you do think you did awesome and even shaking because of how hard you are doing it the next day nothing happen, oh well, still work hard should we do!!

I had tried the riser but I don't feel secure that's why I use the dumbbells it feel more sturdy.. I wonder how the crew managed to do all those pushups on their toes, wow!!!! Me too, I need to add more core work.

Today I have LISCardio super sets.. OMG I hope my legs can cope! I just got in from walking Sam, I need to get better at that as well pro of my boy he gets bore if not!

Julie Way to go on Imax 3, that is a hard workout. My triceps are really feeling it today after that workout. They had us doing a lot in the BOSU class but it was fun. You have to post the pictures of your babies when you get them.

Eunice Well my butt and quads are better today but my tris are now feeling it. Yesterday it seemed like I was hungry all day long after Sunday's workout. How did you do with Cardio Supersets?

No workout for me today. I need to get back into working out in the mornings again. Since my cold I haven't been getting up early but will try to get back into it tomorrow. There just isn't enough time in the evenings to do it then.

This morning was Low Impact Circuit! Fun one that goes by faster than you’d think for 75 minutes. I really enjoyed the uneven pushups today where you have one hand on the step top. It seemed to get in there really good.

Eunice Great job on Cardio Supersets! I think another option for those elmo pushups would be to put the ball in a corner of the room so there are two walls on each side pushing against the ball and holding it in place. I may try that or the dumbbell idea. Yep, those energy filled pups need their walks or they become a bundle of energy waiting to explode inside the house. Hope your legs are working for you today!

Cheryl Good luck with getting back to morning workouts. That cold took a lot of you so I can only imagine it will be a little tough at first. You’ll probably think I’m crazy but I’m excited for your triceps DOMS. I love triceps DOMS (ok, I love all DOMS) but I always feel like I haven’t worked my triceps if they don’t get DOMS. I will definitely put the picture of my pups with the Easter bunny up when I get it. I’ll have to check on it from the lady that did it because I haven’t seen anything in my email yet.

Julie Good job on Low Impact Circuit. I like that one. You are too funny with your enjoyment of DOMS :D. That workout always gets my triceps good.

Well I got up and put in MMA Fusion but I was so stiff and sore I couldn't do the moves :confused:. So I decided to put in stretch max instead because it seems I needed that more. I even had a hard time doing the stretches because I was so stiff :confused::confused:. Anyway I will try again tomorrow.

Hi Marta! I'm in Lisbon at the Marriott. Where in Portugal do you live? Any site seeing recommendations for the weekend? I haven't done much other than work so far, although we have had some very nice dinners. My husband is arriving today so we will be doing some sightseeing in Lisbon today.

Hi strong and lean ladies. You are making me envious with your talk of DOMS when all I have been doing is eating, drinking, sleeping and working! Only 1 more presentation for me tomorrow though and it will be an easy one. And i didn't fall off the stage on Tuesday....whew! I don't have any work today so will be sightseeing with the DH. His flight lands in about 30 minutes :)
I'll be home Monday nigh so back into the routine next week. I hope everyone is doing well!

Yesterday I did LIScardio super sets it was easy compare with after burn so I did good it was just perfect for my sore legs and butt.
Today I did disc 8 back/triceps I hope I got a good triceps workout I did actually pretty good with my weight I think I need to re-do my 1MR test because I'm looking at my weight and I'm going heavier, much heavier than my sheet said so... Oh well, I also did core max 2, (last time I did core max 1 I think I got it wrong last time)
I also did clean the house a good clean this morning from 9:00 am to 12;30 then I did workout, then I finished making the floors after that I took the girls to swimming class, dinner, lunches, clean again OMG I'm so tired :eek: well good night every one this girls its going to sleep!!!:p:p
