Strength in Numbers

Julie Oh I hate those days when you just don't want to drag yourself out of bed. It sounds like it might have been a good day to go ahead an listen the that little voice if C&W didn't help to wake you up. i hope that today was better.
I like the floor part of SJP better than the step part, which is pretty unusual for me. I really don't like the one step combo where she does the strike a pose thing, I think that's why. I really like the floor aerobics though. I would be getting bored with just the treadmill too if I were your DH, maybe it's time to get him to start adding in some other things on some of the days instead.
I was laughing when my DH was complaining about his shoulders not working yesterday. And I touched him on the chest and he was saying how much it hurt. I reminded him that when he does that to me he always tells me he is hardly even touching me.

Janie Great job on the wedding video and getting that nice sweat in!! DH is planning to do disc 2 tonight :D he was going to do it last night but we didn't get home until after 7:00 and I told him it was ok to do it every other day. This one is back and triceps which I'm thinking will be a little easier for him. I have been warning him about the leg workouts to try and get him prepared for that one!

Eunice Don't worry, we all go through those times of feeling ugly, but I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. You are too funny wondering about how you are going to deal with menopause! Try not to drive your DH TOOOOO crazy ;)
Wow, you got quite the workout in with all of that housecleaning that you did. I hate cleaning the windows and I am not very good at it. It seems like I always leave them all streaky. My DH does a better job at them then I do, but he doesn't get the urge to clean them very often! I bet your house looks beautiful now! Congratulations on the gift certificate from Cathe, what are you going to get?? OMG, that is a great story about the lizard! I don't mind the little ones, it's the big ones that make me nervous!
Wow, that program sounds really really expensive. I think i would have a hard time doing that unless I knew for sure I was going to get great results.

This morning for me was 40/20. i was dreading it a little bit and even thought about subbing in something else, but i kept telling myself it's only 30 minutes, and it wasn't so bad. The problem with that one though is that the parts that I really hate (the jump forward side, tucks and the running man) you have to do twice because you have to do them on each side  Oh well, I made it through. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Pam

This morning I wasn’t feeling quite as tired as yesterday and didn’t whimper when my alarm went off this time! I did have to muster up all my energy for Imax 2 though! I know Cathe dances and gets excited when the dreaded interval 9 is done but I save my dance (and Rocky arms) for when interval 10 is over—I hate those power turn squat thingies! Last night DH did some weight work. No videos—just plain old heavy weight training. I started him out with one exercise per body part and told him to lift as heavy as he could for 8-12 reps. I think it was a good start.

Janie Great job on the Wedding Video! I really love the last part with the interval blast type section and the step the long ways. That section does get the sweat pouring out of you! I guess it was an off day because today was much better.

Eunice Wow, that was some cleaning day! Very impressive. I don’t think I have ever cleaned the outside of our windows. We--well, DH has cleaned the inside windows several times. I would love to take a week off from working out and work and stay home and clean the house from top to bottom. Not sure that will happen anytime soon since I don’t get a lot of vacation time. Hmm! Maybe you should move onto a different rotation since you were getting a little bored with the other one. Never hurts to change it up. That is a funny story about the lizard. I think it would scare me because I wouldn't be expecting it. I'm ok with lizards, spiders are my enemy though. I’m not sure whether the price is worth it for the leanbodies service. I wouldn’t be able to justify spending that much money but if you have the money and really want the program then by all means go for it.

Pam Great job on 40/20! I think the fact that the HiiTs are only 30 minutes are what gets me through them. Actually I tell myself that they are really only 20 minutes of hard work when you think about since the warm up and cool down are about 5 minutes each. Of course, you can stretch it even further and say it is only about 16 minutes since you get 3 one minute rest breaks (or as I lovingly call them, catch my breath for the last second and try not to puke for the other 59 seconds!). :p I think DH liked the little weight program I put together for him last night. I told him he will only do 1 set of each exercise on his weight days for the first week and then go to 2 sets during the second week and finally 3 sets thereafter. He is going to try to do it 3 days each week. He said he was really feeling it last night but not as bad as P90X. By that he meant, he felt worked out but not like he had been beaten with a lead pipe like he did with P90X.

Have a great day!

Did disc 31 Chest and Back. Used 22-25# dumbbells in each hand depending on the exercise. Yea! Felt a little clicking sometimes so was very very careful and got through it. That bothered me, but I didn't injure myself. It might be a sign that the weight was a little too heavy for me. Next time I will adjust the weight. 50# bench pressing felt good.:) Next time will use the turbo bar and go a tad heavier. Still cautious with the dead lifts, I simply am afraid of them, so for two sets I did superman's. I hope that was comparable.

Eunice, you got the cleanmax bug while dancing didn't you? Good for you. You are such a beautiful person inside and out. :) Congratulations for the gift certificate from Cathe. That must have made you feel so good. Enjoy your shopping spree. I freak out when spiders come my way. LOL:eek: My advice on the exercise program is, since it costs so much, I'd stay with Cathe and get close to the same results. $1,200 for 12 weeks YIKES! But that's me.

Pam, I'm so proud of your Joey doing disc 2. I'm cheering him on! Great job on 40/20. Once it's done it truly isn't so bad. LOL:D I feel the same way just before that workout too.

Julie, Great job on Imax 2. I agree, those power turn squats are something else. I think you gave your honey good advice on weight lifting.

Have a great rest of the day everyone,

Janie

Julie Glad to hear yesterday morning wasn't as bad as the previous one. Oh yes, IMax2 needs your full attention and needs it now! ;) I guess I'm weird but I love those power turn squat things! They are tough but for some reason I really like them. I think that was a great start for your DH doing some good old fashioned weight work. Is he sore today?
You sound like me with the break down on the Hiits. It really is only 16 minutes of work, and not even that since 1/3 of that time is the 20 second rest! Those rests sure do go fast though! I always plan to have my water break during the 60 second rests and the first 30 seconds always goes by before I even know what happened. Not sure why that doesn't happen during the work part?!;) It sounds like you have a good plan for your DH with the weights, and hopefully it will keep him from getting too bored with the walking machine! His comments sound a lot my DH after disc 2. He said it was still a tough workout, but he didn't try to go all out like he did with disc 1 so it was better.

Janie Great job on disc 31, wow you are really doing great with your weights! OOooo, that little clicking doesn't sound good though, do take it easy. We don't need any injuries! WOW, 50 pound bench press is a LOT! GREAT GREAT JOB! I'm pretty proud of the DH too. I think he probably thinks it's weird that I'm so excited that he's doing STS, but I do think it's pretty cool!

This morning for me was PLB. I'm not sure if I've ever done that one before. It was pretty good. It seemed like just when I got to the point where I felt like I couldn't do anymore we would be done with an exercise. I got my heartrate up rushing to get my weights changed though!
Hope you are doing well Eunice and Cheryl! have a great day ladies.

Pam

This morning was Pyramid Lower Body and I hit it hard. I used my weighted vest for the squat/plié supersets. I will say I hit the standing portion so hard that the floor portion with the stability ball really kicked my booty. I mean the floor part is always pretty tough but this morning I told Cathe she was killing me with the third set of froggy style ball roll-ins.

Janie Great job on disc 31! I’ve never heard clicks in my shoulders from upper body work but my hips click quite often especially during supine leg lifts. I’ve read from some people on here that if there is no pain, then the clicking is not a big deal but better to be safe than injured. The supermans are probably comparable to the deadlifts for back; but, if you think you can, try doing them weighted with wrist and ankle weights. Only do that if you feel comfortable though. If not anything works, I think Cathe always does a great job reminding us to modify and that anything is better than nothing—Ok, she says it better than I do! :p Another option is that you could always do the deadlifts with an unweighted barbell to help work your form and get your lower back used to the exercise. Since the focus in these deadlifts are the back not your glutes and hamstrings, I think it is better to go lighter and focus on form and focus on not going very low (I don't go past my knees for back deadlifts). Or as you did just substitute in the supermans. Whatever you decide, be safe!

Pam Great job on PLB! I love PLB!!!!! I guess I should clarify that I love the standing portion but could easily skip the floor part each and every time—although, I’m a good girl and stick it out (albeit while cursing Cathe with each roll-in ). Yes you are weird if you have never done PLB before--JK! DH was a little sore but he said he expected it to be worst. I’m glad he is not too sore because that might have made him not want to do it again. We’ll see how tonight goes as he is supposed to do it again tonight. I’m excited your DH is doing STS too. I hope that one day my DH will give it a try-even if he only does Mesos 2 & 3 since he seems to like more traditional weight lifting with rest periods in between.

Have a great day!

Rhythmic Step was tonight and did a lot of it, but not all of it. It was wonderful, fast and with fantastic cuing. You just can't get better than that. Whew!

Pam, Great job on PLB. Love it when exercise is just to that point like you said when you couldn't do much more then the workout ends. Great Job!:D

Julie, Great job on PLB also. O my! Using a vest and hitting it that hard is fantastic! Good job! I'm going to take your suggestion and use my ankle and wrist weights and do supermen workouts instead of dead lifts. What a great idea! I managed to get to 30 pounds on dead lifts (with really good form) but I'm not comfortable with them.

Cheryl and Eunice how ya doing ladies?

Take care,

Janie

This morning was Pyramid Upper Body! Love that one along with PLB—except I was really, really tempted to skip the abs. I don’t enjoy working abs as it is and then to have those pikes in there is just salt in the wound. I did the abs anyway but took breaks during the pike portions. My arms were just too tired from the weight work and my legs were too sore from yesterday to do many at one time.

Janie Great job on Rhythmic Step! That one is one of the best I think. I am definitely feeling it today from going heavy yesterday. My inner thighs and hamstrings are screaming at me. I think they are saying “foam roller please!” Hopefully I can find time tonight to do that because they definitely need it.

Pam Catch up with you later!

Cheryl and Eunice Hope you gals are having too much fun to check in right now!

Have a great day!

I am here!!!!! It has been quite the week. I am trying to remember the last time I posted and I think it hasn't been since Saturday or Sunday. Sunday was really nice here and I was outside all day. I think the fresh air did me in as I was really tired and something that I ate (I think it was the bread) didn't agree with me. So both Monday and Tuesday I dealt with some minor migranes and didn't get any workouts done. Tuesday morning while I was walking to my office building I passed a lady who really wasn't all there and was throwing a drum.....yes a drum in the air. Well as luck would have it when I was passing by her she threw it and it hit me hard in the back of the ankle. So then I was dealing with a really sore ankle that swelled up and so I haven't worked out all week . On top of that because the weekend was so nice I didn't get any homework done so I was working on that every night trying to understand everthing before class tonight. Whew (wipes sweat from the brow) so that was my week and now I am trying to catch up on everything else. My next class is Tuesday because of the Easter Long Weekend so I don't have much time to get my homework done before my next class .

I looked at all the posts and everyone is doing really well. I hope to get a workout in tomorrow since my ankle is feeling better.

Hopefully I will be here sometime this weekend.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Disc 32, Plyo Legs. LOVED IT!

Julie, Congrats on your DOM's means you did a fantastic job yesterday on your workout. Hope you do find the time to roll away those DOM's. It's good for you. ;) Great job on PUB. If you can do pikes you are amazing! I still can only do one.:(. So very proud of your ab work.

Cheryl, I'm glad to see your ankle and you are doing better. Why on earth was this woman throwing a drum around? She made life very hard for you.

Take care and have a nice evening.

Janie

This morning despite trying to foam roll away my hamstring tightness, they were still super tight. I had Legs & Glutes on the schedule but decided to switch to Step, Jump, & Pump. It was fun but I had to go easy on the weight work since I just did PUB yesterday. Now I am getting ready to help DH do his weight work. After that, we are going to an auto show and then we are staying at my parents tonight. Tomorrow will probably be shopping, cleaning, cooking, and errands. Guess that means no rest day for me.

Cheryl Well, that was quite the week! I'm glad your migraines are gone and hope your ankle is feeling better. Hopefully you can get your studying in and next week isn't quite so hectic for you.

Janie Great job on disc 32 plyo legs! Those plyo leg workouts are so much fun aren't they and they just fly by too! I did get to foam roll and it helped but I am still pretty tight. Sometimes I can do the pikes without breaks and sometimes not. I also have times were I can't seem to do them all the way up. Guess it is just like everything else in that sometimes you have it and sometimes you don't.

Have a great day!

julie Great job on PLB Thursday, we were on the same pyramid schedule this week! I, however, did not use a weighted vest for the squats and plies  Oh yea, those froggie style rollins are doozies! I think my DH will like mesos 2 and 3 better than meso 1 too. If he complains too much maybe I'll have him skip ahead. He hasn't done disc 3 yet because he had a golf tournament today and he was worried about being too sore for it, so he plans to do it this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I hope your DH did well with his weights last night.

Janie Great job on RS, such a fun one!

Julie Great job on PUB yesterday and especially hanging tough through the abs. I wasn't as successful with the abs as you were! So does SOOOOO many pikes at the end of that one too.

Cheryl Oh MY, what a week you had! I can't believe the story about the lady with the drum. I'm sorry but I did have to laugh a bit, but not about you getting hurt. That is just a story that you couldn't make up! Wow. I hope the ankle is doing a lot better now. I'm glad you got to enjoy some nice weather at least. Migraines are the worst. i don't even get the really really bad ones, but I get them to the point that I don't want to turn my head because it hurts too much. Luckily I haven't had one in quite awhile (now I'm looking for some wood to knock on  ) When you said that about wiping sweat from your brow I was picturing Jai in one of the workouts, I think it's KPC where she does that :) Anyway, I sure hope you are having a better weekend!

Janie great job on plyo legs, so tough but SO fun! Well, maybe excpet for the 1/2 turn jumps!

Julie I can relate to that hamstring tightness, I'm dealing with some of that myself! I think you were smart subbing out L&G, although I don't think SJP was much of a break! Great job on that! I hope you have fun at the auto show.

Sorry i didn't get a chance to check in yesterday. I read everyones posts and planned to post, but then got busy with work. Yesterday morning was PUB for me too, but unlike Julie, I crapped out on the abs. My arms were shaking so bad from all of that upper body work there was no way I could do all of those pikes. I think I only did about 2-3 of them, then tried to sub roll ins and couldn't eve stay on the ball for those. I finally just went to crunches to finish out. I have some major DOMS in my whole upper body today. It has definitely been too ;long since I've done a good tough upper body workout. I was supposed to do PUB and 30/30 yesterday but didn't have time. So this morning I did cardio kicks, then did 30/30, then the abs from Cardio and weights to make up for skipping out on the pikes yesterday. Whew, I'm tired now! In fact I was tired after cardio kicks, but I heard Julie telling me that 30/30 is only 16 minutes, and REALLY only 8 minutes of actual work so I pushed through it. the last 2 intervals almost killed me though! OK, now to attack some more weeds. Have a great weekend everyone!

Pam

I was having fun yesterday second handing and bought 3 beautiful bottles (yellow, red and green) that I want to use as hummingbird feeders. I ordered the feeding tubes and they should be here soon. It's for our Beach House. Here is a photo of it so far without the stopper feed tube. I used a coat hanger and also wanted the hummingbird to perch and relax while enjoying the nectar.

Today I did RS again. I love that one and man o man I was sweaty!

Julie, Great job on SP&J. Wonderful substitute. Enjoy your day of auto show and family. I'm glad you were able to roll away some of that tightness.

Pam, Great job on PUB this morning. You guys amaze the heck out of me doing all those Pikes. Whew! Also great job on CK and 30/30 and abs from C&W. I bet you are tired! Wow. Enjoy gardening. Is it a nice day outside?

Take care ladies,

Janie

Janie HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANIEI hope you have a fantastic day. Good job on disc 32 plyo legs. I have no idea why she was throwing a drum around. She wasn't all there that is for sure. After a while you get to know the homeless and mentally challenged people who are out on the street but she was one I had never seen before. Those bottles will make cool hummingbird feeders.

Julie Good job on SJ&P. How are your hamstrings now? Enjoy the auto show. I got some studying in today so I hope that next week won't be as hectic.

Pam I am glad that I made your day with my bad week :p. Oh that lady with the drum, I keep an eye open for her now to make sure I give her a lot of room. So far so good she hasn't been seen since. I hadn't had a migrane in a while either but at least it wasn't too bad. Jai does wipe sweat from her brow in one of the workouts but I can't remember which one it is. Good job on PUB and I can relate to the arms crapping out on the abs. That is why I do the abs first before going into the upper body work. Good work on cardio kicks 30/30 and the abs from Cardio and Weights.

This morning was MMA Boxing, it was one I hadn't done in a while. After that it was housework and then some studying. Tomorrow we are going over to my brother's for dinner as our parents have come back from Arizona.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Today was my birthday (61) and Joey took me out to a play (Enchanted April) and to Anthony's. We had a ball. Also, when I got home I did disc 33, shoulders, triceps and biceps. Love those kinds of workouts!

Cheryl, Thank you so much for the birthday wish. One of my most favorite birthday's, but then again, I love celebrating them.:D Great job on this mornings MMA Boxing, housework and studying. Enjoy dinner tomorrow with your family.

Take care,

Janie

Pam I don't know why we have to go through those weird days and then there is another days that we feel like princess :D I will try not to drive my DH TOOOOO CRAZY, I think he already is though!!! Well that was a lot of work done in a few days but all goes down the drain really, really fast if I don't do anything for a day that is really sad:mad: I didn't know what to get I have almost everything but 2 of them "terminator" & "timesaver" and I don't really want those so I got the preorder, one cathlete T-shirt, 4Lb gloves, also I got the slide & glide + plates to give to my sister.
Good job doing 40/20 I hope you are all better now... you were little bit sick last week, don't you?

Julie Good job doing Imax 2, you are doing good putting a workout together for your DH very smart how had you planned for him.

JanieGood job doing chest/back wow!!! those are heavy dumbbells that you are using, good for you I love it. Just be careful with that clicking, it was your shoulder?
Thanks you are so kind for calling me beautiful:D I think you guys are right I shouldn't spend that much money, I just have to work extra hard to gain more muscle and eat better, I can use it doing something else.

Pamwhat rotation are you doing? good job doing PLB that's a good one.

JulieThis week was PLB's day and you dii good. I'm going to have to work hard to catch up with you:p and also for doing PUB. I think secretly you were looking for those legs to get a good sore feeling. Good job doing SJP, it was a good idea to let your legs rest for what is to come Legs and glutes.

JanieGood job doing Rhythmic step, that's alright what ever you can do is much better than nothing. You Rock!!!!:D

Cheryl What a week you had, that's awful what happened to you with that girl hitting you right on the spot, WE need our feet to workout!!! Sorry about that. Well we have time to get on top of things, I was gone to almost all week but me because I was taking time off, resting. I hope your class is not that hard so you can pass easily.

Pam Good job doing PUB, that is something that this rotation is missing "abs" so the other day I did abs from Low Impact Circuit and I find out that to do the shooting legs thingy was really hard for me and I'm usually pretty good with those so I guess I need to add my own ab work to every other day at least. Good for having those upper body DOMS that's good.
Good for doing cardio kicks +30/30 and abs from cardio & weights.

Cheryl Good job doing MMA Boxing, have fun this weekend.

JanieHow special day you had, being with the one you love and having fun.. I had never being to a play but it sounds like fun.
Good job doing disc 33 shoulders/triceps/biceps I do too love this kind of workouts.

I was gone for a while but I'm back!!! I was telling DH that last week it felt really good not to workout I guess I needed it to take a rest really bad:p but funny because monday, tuesday & wednesday I was perfectly fine but by thursday I started to think about doing something then friday I was about to go do something, so yes my body was asking to go back to workout.
Saturday I went to get my hair done just a hair cut, I dye my hair by my self before I got the hair cut, then the guy did straight my hair it was really nice. DH likes my hair straight but mine is more wave it I do like it when I put the time to use the hot curler thingy. Then Saturday night we went out for dinner with some of my friends it was really nice little place we had fancy pizzas very yummy. Yesterday we had red wine and OMG this morning I woke up with headache I thought I wasn't going to make it, but I couldn't wait to go back to workout.
Today I did disc 28 chest/back I did pretty good, all my weight was on spot I even went up on weight on some of the exercises I think I'm going to have a good set of DOMS front & back.
I'm finishing the last month of the rotation I like the heavy weight if anything I will subb the cardio but other then that STS still my favorite.

Have a great day everyone.:D:D

Janie I just love your beautiful glass bottles. How creative of you making them into such lovely hummingbird feeders! They will be so nice at the beach house! great job on your RS sweat fest too! Saturday was not really nice, it was drizzling rain all day, but I did go out and do some weeding anyway. I'm happy to say that I'm almost done with the weeding. The yard is looking so much better. Yesterday was a beautiful day though and I got out and sprayed the weeds that needed spraying and raked up a bunch of leaves. There are still more leaves to be raked, but I ran out of energy so they will have to wait for another day!

Cheryl I'm glad that you haven't seen drum lady again! Those people scare me since you just never know what they will do. I was thinking about you when I got to those abs in PUB and wishing I had remembered to do the abs first like you do!
Great job on MMA Boxing, I haven't done that one in a long time either. i hope you had a nice dinner with your brother and parents!

Janie Awwww, so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful birthday! How special! And you got a great workout in too, good for you!

Eunice Welcome back! That is the terrible thing about housework, it takes so long and looks so good when you are finished, but then is messed up again in no time  I hate that. Oh boy, you got a lot of goodies with your gift certificate, that is awesome. I don't blame you for not getting the timesaver, I have it and I don't really like it and never use it. I do love the terminator though, it has some great workouts on it. They are all compiled from other workouts, but they are really good! My cold is still lingering a little tiny bit, but I also think some of my coughing now is due to allergies. I'm definitely feeling a lot better though.
I'm doing Cathe's March rotation. It is a pretty good one. I think it's strange when the rotations don't include much ab work. I usually try to add them in at least 3 times a week too if they aren't already part of the rotation. I had been forgetting about it for a couple of weeks though.
it sounds like your rest time was very much needed so you were smart to take that time to keep from getting burned out. I just love the new hairstyle, it is so pretty! Have you ever tried a flat iron? I have problems with my hair just getting crazy because of the humidity, but I love my flat iron. It helps a lot and doesn't take long at all to use.
Oh your Saturday dinner sounds really nice, but you better take it easy on that red wine if it is giving you a headache! Hope it wasn't too bad. Great job on disc 28 and upping your weight!!

Yesterday was my rest day. DH made breakfast for the family and then I had kind've a lazy morning, then went out and did some more yard work. as I was telling Janie, I think I am about done with the weeding for this round :D and i also sprayed the stubborn weeds that can't be pulled. Then I raked up leaves from the beds around the house. We have a big natural area in front that was full of leaves too, so I raked up some of those, but I got tired and quit. Then we went to my mom's and put up the bird house that we got her for Christmas. She was so excited to get it up and it looks great. This morning was total body STS. I hadn't done that one in awhile and it kicked my butt! I think I have been neglecting my weights too much lately so I need to fix that. I hope everyone has a great Monday, can't believe it's here again already!

Pam

This morning was Supersets. I was pretty tired this morning so I am glad that is one of the nicer ones. I didn’t go extremely heavy on anything but kept up with Cathe which is always a bonus!

Pam Great job on PUB the other day! Don’t feel bad for not doing all the pikes. Some days are truly harder than others I think. Wow! You are a machine for doing HiiT 30/30 after Cardio Kicks and then tacking on abs from C&W after that! Talk about a marathon workout! Yep, SJP wasn’t much of a break but it wasn’t too bad to my legs. Sunday sounded like a good day, not too busy but just right. Great job on STS TB! That one is a doozy with the heavy weights and the almost no rest time between sets/exercises.

Janie Those hummingbird feeders look really neat and the glass bottle really is beautiful and almost seems like it was designed to be a feeder. You are so creative and I love seeing all the craft projects you come up with. Great job on RS (again)! Sounds like you had the perfect date for your birthday. Is Anthony’s an Italian restaurant? Great job on disc 33!

Cheryl Great job on MMA Boxing! Hope you enjoyed your dinner with your brother and parents. It seems like just yesterday that you were talking about your parents leaving for Arizona. Guess time really does fly sometimes. Like Pam, I thought about you too when the abs section came up in PUB. I grumbled and then cursed myself for not remembering your nice little trick to do the abs first before my arms turn to jello.

Eunice Welcome back! It sounds like a rest week was exactly what your body needed. Especially since you started to crave working out again by the end of the week. I’m proud of you for sticking it out and taking a full rest week—I’m sure it was hard the last few days. Great job on disc 28! Oh I love Meso 3 too and would stick with it for that. That’s awesome that you were able to go up in weight on a few exercises. That rest week must have really helped your muscles heal and get prepared to work, work again. He he! I was secretly wishing for super, duper leg DOMS from PLB and I got my wish!! Does white wine give you a headache? It could be that your headaches are triggered by the red wine. Not trying to persuade you to stop drinking wine just something I know they say is a trigger food for headaches.

Have a great day!

Janie Glad that you had a nice birthday. Good job on disc 33 shoulders, triceps and biceps.

Eunice Welcome back Eunice. I was MIA too for a while. I have had better weeks that's for sure. Sounds like you needed your week off. You had a nice dinner and wine with your friends. Sorry that you had a headache the next morning but it didn't slow you down for disc 28 chest and back. Good job!!

Pam HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM Enjoy your day tomorrow. I find that most of the people on the street are pretty harmless. However there are those with drums........ I have found doing the abs first in PUB works the best. So much for your rest day with all of the yard work you have been doing. I wish we had better weather so I could go out and do yardwork myself. Have you finished your basement yet? Good job on STS Total Body.

Julie Good job on Supersets even with being tired. Time does fly because it doesn't seem all that long ago that they left. Doing the ab section first is something that I learned a few years ago. It really helps with doing those planks.

Today I did the Kick Max premix Low Impact Timesaver. I couldn't workout this morning since I am fighting off a cold and I was way to tired so I did it tonight. Because I had to study I didn't do the full workout so I had time to go over some things. Tomorrow is my next class since Friday is a holiday. I may or may not get a chance to post tomorrow, we will see.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Did 10-10-10 today. OMG! Sweats-ville! Only used the topper.

Eunice, So glad you took a much needed break from exercise. Now you are freshened up and ready to go again. Great job on disc 28, chest& back. Congrats going up in weight. That is always nice. It's nice to enjoy food and drink sometimes. It's fun.

Pam, Yard working again? I know, it's never ending. You did a lot of work and bet when it's time to enjoy the outside your hard work will pay off. Aw, I know how exciting it is to put up bird houses. I'll be doing that once I get to the BH again. More exciting is when the birds next in them. Yeah! Great job on STS TB. Yes, it's a butt kicker!

Julie, Anthony's I believe is a seafood place. They seem to always be around the bays. Great job on Supersets. Good job keeping up with Cathe.

Cheryl, Great job on KM prem LIT. Oh no, a cold. Enjoy your class and if you can't post we know why. Be sure to post when you can though.;)

Pam:

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to Pam,
Happy Birthday to you.
And many more...

Take care all,

Janie

Pam I'm thinking on submitting another recipe I want to get another step:D See, I wasn't sure about those DVD's I'm glad to hear that I'm not missing that much. I hope your cold goes away, far, far away not to to far that I might catch it here in AU:p
I was looking at April rotation I think that is a good one it has a lot of the dvd's we hardly do so I might try to do that one after I finish this one. Thanks I do to like the straight hair I don't have a flat iron Brandy has one that I bought for her is a Chi or something like that, what brand do you have? I need to get me one but a good one. I was telling DH about the headache and he say do you know what that means? NO, that you need to practice more:confused: crazy...
Good for taking a day off awww how nice of your DH for making breakfast for the family, I bet your yard now looks pretty and ready for summer. That raking sounds like another workout. Good job for doing STS total body, maybe you are not neglecting the weight maybe is your body still getting over the cold but once is gone you are going to be changing that weight;)

JulieGood job doing supersets just keeping up with Cathe and the weight she was using I think is good enough, super woman!!! awww!! that was the first workout I saw Cathe doing on FitTv after that I wanted to get it, I couldn't find it right away so I started recording her workouts and one day I waited till the end and I saw the big "Cathe.com" that was it, I needed to get them all. Thanks for the welcome back... Our body know what they need and we should always listen to them, I know thats why I was able to upper my weight and concentrate on the moves, love it now I have a very nice tight, sore back and chest!!;) Oh white wine is worse than red I think I got a little to excited and thought that I could it handle it, obviously NOT, I'm not ready for that.

Cheryl Welcome back to you too. I hope your ankle is much better now.
Good job doing Kick Max that one is a tough one so good choice doing the time saver if you are still fighting the cold, Have fun at your class.

JanieGood job doing 10*10*10* I don't know how many 10's are in there but anyways good for you and for having a good sweat feast, see? that show you that you don't need much to get a good workout in. I very highly recommend taking a time off just to let the muscle to recover and get ready to hit it again and harder.

Today I did disc 32 ploy legs I don't think I have done that one as much as the first one because it was really good one and tough too. I also incorporated some ab work I really need to do that.
Yesterday workout left me with a nice set of DOMS I really love to get my back sore that is one of my body parts that I hardly get to feel but I finally got the hang of it (after I don't know how many years of working out) now I think every time I do a back exercise I flex my back muscles and I get to feel it so much better.. Now I just have to flex more often hahaha!!!
The girls have 2 weeks off and we got the time change one hour back..;)
Have a nice day ladies.
