Strength in Numbers

Last night I did Cardio Kicks and DH walked on the walking machine again. I’m really bummed because I was wearing my new shoes for the first time and they hurt the side of my foot so bad whenever I did lateral moves I had to stop 20 minutes in and change them to my old shoes. I’m taking these new ones back and I ordered a new pair online from Joe’s New Balance outlet. I guess next time in addition to jumping up and down in the store I need to do speed skaters too.

Eunice Great job on TBTUB! My DOMS are still there in my legs. Cardio Kicks helped kick them out a little but I’m still pretty tender. Ok I had to look up the conversion for kilos to pounds. 40 kilos is 88 pounds which is pretty average for a lab. If he lost 20 kilos, he would weigh 44 pounds which is what a very small lab (like runt of the litter) might weigh if they were underweight. Here’s a pet body condition site that shows what your dog’s appearance should be at thin to obese. Body Condition Scoring Chart | College of Veterinary Medicine Here’s a list showing the ideal weight for dog breeds. Dog weight chart, listed by breed. How much does your dog weigh? Male labs should be 27-34 kg so Sam is probably only 6-10 kg overweight not 20kg.

Cheryl Yeah, DH thinks I am crazy for enjoying my DOMS. He watches me hobble down the stairs with a smile on my face and just shakes his head and rolls his eyes. Maybe one day when he starts lifting weights he will understand the joy of DOMS. I can’t remember the last time I passed the toilet test. I think I have failed it this whole week.

Julie Great job on ps legs and abs! You are really abusing your poor legs this week!! I hope they don't go on strike on you! I'm glad you are enjoying the DOMS though :rolleyes: hoe your DH had a better night and day! You know I've only recently started getting that off balance inching with lunges sometimes. It's weird!

Eunice oh that's right, I forgot that you were bad and skipped your rest week ;) oh man, I always skip the crocodiles and do the ball version. I just can't make my body do that. Oh yea, those cross fit burners are weird. The first time I did them I had bruises on both of my knees afterwards. It was crazy. They have a rubber floor, but it is still pretty hard!
I am not doing them early as fast as a lot of the people there. They were timing people to see how many they could do in7 minutes and one guy did 91. No way!
Good job on TBTUB even if it was the "wrong" workout! Hahaha I thi you should do 40/20 AND intensity :p :D JFK of course!

Cheryl yes Cross fit is pretty intense. I'm not sure if I'll keep at it after my special is over though. It's so much easier to work out at home. How lazy is that huh? Glad you are enjoying your DOMS!

This morning for me was High Reps. It's only the second time i'ver ever donethisoneand I was wiped out afterwards. My arms still feel a little shaky! Work today is very frustrating arrgggggh. Oh well, I hope you are all having a great day!

Cheryl I'm feeling a lot better today thanks, I really don't want to get sick but who knows one we got sick that's it.:confused: Yes, Rachel is doing good in swimming yesterday was her first day in the new class it was only boys she was the only girl and the tallest one but she did good.. Good job for taking the day off I can understand that it is not easy to get up early every day but you are doing great.


Julie Great job doing cardio kicks and DH doing the walking machine, so bad that the new shoes didn't work but the good thing is that you can always return them, to funny that you want to add speed skaters next time, but hey is better to be safe than sorry... Thanks a lot for the links I cannot believe that this vet wanted to kill my poor boy, so 6 kilos is more reasonable and his doing pretty good with that poppy sad face in the mornings that kills me because I cannot give him anything, and sometimes I say "Ok, only one treat" the girls say "no, mom, that's for his health" :(

Pam You are right, I was bad girl and did the skipping thingy, but I might take next one:D those crocodile pushups are good ones... What cross fit burners????? :eek: burpees!!! Oh, men I know they are hard you have to be pretty fast coming back up, wow!! 91 in 7 min:eek::eek: its crazy! How many can you do? Well, I wanted to be your partner and did 40/20 I was thinking on you, how in this world did you do 40/20 with sore legs? I know it doesn't have a lot of squats and stuff but those running men and the jumping box and others were hard for my legs:confused: Wow! HR again? poor legs and arms of yours.


Today I took the day off but yesterday I did Step Low impact challenge just because that's how I roll;) (sorry it just come out like that) and I wanted to have sympathy DOMS and pain with Pam so I also did 40/20... So, I guess I can say that yesterday I did today's WO which it was SCH.
I don't know what I have for tomorrow though.(oh, I don't want to remember) hahaha!!!! Good night you all.

Julie Great job on cardio kicks, I guess we were on the same wavelength since that's the one I did this morning and I saw your post about it right after I finished. I like that one! Bummer about your new shoes, I hope that the ones you ordered from Joe's will work out good for you though. They don't usually have a great selection, but you can usually get a pretty good deal. I also like that they show up on my porch :)
You were right that our posts did cross. I didn't get to it until pretty late yesterday because I was having such a frustrating day at work. So far today is going much much better thank goodness!

Eunice Oh did I say burners instead of burpees? See, that is what happens when I try to connect from my ipad, it just loves to 'correct' my spelling. When my DH was out of town a couple of weeks ago he was texting me from his phone and he tried to say 'I had a feeling'. He spelled feeling wrong though and what his phone sent was 'I had a fling''! He loves to tell that story to his buddies! As for the burpees, I have no interest in trying to see how many I can do in 7 minutes! The 8 that we usually do per round are enough for me thank you very much! ;) oh thank you for joining in my 40/20 pain. It is a VERY hard one to do with sore legs. Those running men especially get me every time!!!! I am always so happy for the 60 second break between sides. So how are your legs feeling today? Mine are better than they were, but it's nice that we can enjoy our DOMs together :D
good for you doing step LIC again! I assume that is the new one and not the original recipe as our friend Julie would say :p I'm with you, I think that some days it's better not to know what is on the calendar for the next day's workout! Especially when it is a toughie!

Anyway, this morning I did cardio kicks which is always a fun one. I love those big giant dudes coming up there beside Cathe at the end. Last night was girls night out, so it was nice to get out and shake off the frustration from work yesterday! Happy Friday everyone!

Last night I did Circuit Max and DH took a rest day. I think he is still at the point where he can only work out every other day. Still better than nothing and I am proud of him. This is the longest he has ever gone with eating healthy and working out.

Pam Great job on High Reps! I really like that one but only when I have everything set up and ready to go in the order needed. Otherwise, I feel like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get ready for the next exercise. Great job on CK! I love the guys in that one too. They are in Circuit Max too and it is cool watching them do the stepping although I find it hilarious that they are lifting dinky 8 pound weights during the 1-arm rows. Well it looks like Girls Night Out came on a perfect day this week. My day has started out really frustrating but it is calming down a little. Joe’s outlet had quite a selection. I’m not sure what it normally is but they had about 16 cross trainers to choose from. I usually go to Kohl’s to get my shoes and this time they had 2 to choose from. I’m thinking these new ones will be a lot better. Hopefully I will get them tonight or tomorrow.

Eunice Your too funny! Great job on rolling with LIChallenge! Plus 40/20 you super woman you. I think you were right on to take a rest day today since you doubled up yesterday. Well I guess you could always ask the vet why he thinks Sam needs to lose half his body weight when he isn’t that much heavier than the average lab. Does seem odd though. I would expect better from a vet. Yes, those sad puppy eyes are hard to ignore. Even harder to ignore is the drool. Well, maybe Sam doesn’t drool but Maggie drools because she is hungry and can’t have food.

Pam I don't think that you are lazy for wanting to workout at home, it is just a lot more convienent. And with Cathe you are always getting a good workout. Good job on High Reps it is a hard one.

Eunice I am glad that you are feeling better. Way to go Rachel in taking on the boys in swimming. Good job on LIC and 40/20. So how are your sympathy DOMS :p.

Well yesterday I did disc 11 Back and Triceps. I was so tired when I got home I didn't have the energy to get on the computer and post anything. I took a vacation day today from work and did Low Impact Challenge. I am getting better at this one now. So after that I got all of the housework done and I will be leaving soon for my first PT training session. I will fill you in about it tomorrow.

Pam To funny about the spelling, and to funny too that you are not interested in see how many can you do:confused::confused: came on my cathlete friend you should!!! No, is fine I'm just messing with you. My legs were not to bad, I thought I was going to be with a good set of DOMS but NOT:confused: but it was a good one anyways, I think I did missed we haven't done any of the workouts from that series. Yes it was the new one and I'm so proud of my self that I did the whole thing and I'm doing so much better now I can even enjoy the music, you know when the music is good you feel like flying.
It looks like this week we did a lot of the same workouts good job going cardio kicks. I'm glad you got to have a fun night out.

JulieGood job doing Circuit Max I don't remember that one but I bet it was a good one, just by the name it has to be to the MAX" You are right for beginners every other day is perfect.
We don't have to go back to the Vet till next year, but I'm so glad I don't have to kill Sam with hunger. I couldn't do it with the sad puppy eyes and droolling:(

Cheryl Good job for doing disc 11 back/triceps I understand you perfectly if you don't want to post after a long tired day of work, all you want to do is have a good night sleep. My sympathy DOMS are fine not to bad, I was expecting more.:confused: I think Low Impact Challenge is getting funner too. So excited for you for getting your first PT class, I can't wait to hear all the goodies. Have fun!!!


Today I did Cardio super sets it was a fun one, easy for the weekend. I was looking at the premixes and there is one that uses the step in the same video I think next time I'm going to try that one, is basically the whole video + step combos with dumbbells and the plates.
Well have a great weekend Saturday here, which means NOTHING to me, oh by the way no school or work this coming Monday.
Boring!!! that's alright that means sleep in.:p:D
 
Julie Great job on Circuit Max. That was my favorite for a long time. I think it's great that your DH is working out every other day, that is good for someone that is just starting out and he is doing really well wiht his healthy eating too. Very impressive! I know what you mean about High Reps. I felt like I was running around trying to get equipment all of the time. I always hate it when I have to pause or rewind, but I had to do that a couple of times in the workout. OMG, I know, what is up with those big guys using those little teeny tiny weights???? Some of the STS workouts are like that too and it always makes me laugh. I'm glad that your frustrating day calmed down. My Friday was soooo much better than my Thursday. I am still doing some work this weekend trying to catch up from that. I'm glad that Joe's had a good selection for you. have you gotten the new shoes yet? I hope they work out better than your other ones !

Cheryl It definitely is a lot more convenient working out at home, and I get a better workout with Cathe than I used to get at the gym. I love doing it on my own schedule. Great job on disc 11 and LIC. I can't wait to hear about your first PT training session. I hope that went well!

Eunice OK, I tell you what, I'll do the 7 minutes of burpees if ou will? ;):D Think about how long 40 seconds is in 40/20 and then think about doing 7 minutes of burpees!!!! That is strange that you didn't have DOMS after your big double last week, I sure thought you would! Great job on cardio super sets, that is a fun one too. I like adding that step part at the end because it makes it a good length. No school or work on monday? Why not?

Yesterday I took as my day off and just mainly did a bunch of running around. I had 2 birthday presents to buy and a baby present so that was my day. Last night we went to a birthday party for my girlfriend. It was a surprise at a dueling piano bar. It was fun, but it sure made me feel old going to a place like that. Not a place I would choose to go very often! Today we have a little open house for a new baby so I need to get moving because I didn't find a baby gift yesterday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Back from the beach house. OOoooo my! When I got there, joey had so many things done. He gave me a tour. First stop was the hall way. So beautiful and when painted a nice bright color such as cream white. The blue Pergo goes very well with this color. Magnificent!

Second stop was the bathroom. The tiled floor gave a finished and handsome look. He also put in hand bars. I brought in rugs for the shower, tub and around the toilet. So very very nice.

Then my bedroom... O my God! The Pergo on this floor is so much better than I thought it would be. (It's the same as the hallway) It's gorgeous! And it's mine! We put the bed up, and surprisingly it's a lot higher than expected, and I love the way that is. (It might be twice as high as a normal bed would be) I brought in a beautiful bed spread left to me by a wonderful woman I use to care for in her old age. (I'll replace it once I crochet a bedspread) Also brought out my crochet rug and it goes perfect with the decor. All I need to do now is purchase curtains and crochet the inner ones. That's a lot of work and will be doing that for a long time. Crochet is not a fast project.

There are new faucets in the kitchen, new light fixtures too throughout the house.

While we were there, we painted Joey's room and the laundry room. He is ready to put in his carpet next time for his bedroom. He's ordered his bed and we already have the box spring and mattress. While he babysits our grandchildren later this month (two different times) I'll go there to paint what I can. Plan on painting the gaming room, and get started on the living room.

I have until Wed. for my active recovery then back to STS 4th week. Can't wait! Will do a cardio later today and post it. I walked/jogged/ran on the beach one day.

Julie, Great job on CM and a rest day for hubby. Every other day of working out is good for a beginner. He'll get stronger by adding minutes of cardio to the days he doesn't workout with weight. He'll be surprised how much he will do in just a few weeks. His eating and working out is so cool. I'm proud of him as well.

Cheryl, Great job yesterday on disc 11 back & Triceps, and today's LIC. I can see you are getting better at cardio. Good for you! How exciting about your first PT training session! Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Eunice, Great job on Cardio Super Sets. Enjoy your time off from school and work this Mon.

Pam, Hope you enjoyed your day off shopping and running around. I would have loved to listen to the dueling piano. Glad you had fun, but then how could you not with that kind of music. How unique! Why did it make you feel old? A younger crowd?

Eunice Well at least you got some DOMS even if it wasn't what you were expecting. Low Impact Challenge was a lot more fun for me too, it makes a difference when you have the steps down. Good job on Cardio Supersets, it is a fun one to do. Lucky you to be able to sleep in tomorrow, I wish I could :(.

Pam I found that I got a better workout with Cathe than at the gym too. It is nice that you can do it when it is convenient for you too, not when it is offered at the gym. I have never heard of a dueling piano bar..... I hate it when you feel old going somewhere. I hope you found your baby gift.

Well my first PT session went well. The place that I am going to is a private school so I have my own teacher to myself. It sure did make a difference in learning than being in a classroom. My instructor is the owner of the company and she is really nice and knowledgable. She told me that I did really well with knowing the bones of the body. Next up is the muscles. I also signed up for a TRX Suspension training session next Sunday along with my normal session on Friday.

So yesterday AT was on tap but I felt like doing Slide & Glide instead. Today was yoga and I really had a hard time getting motivated since we had the time change yesterday. I really don`t get the time change at all, it just makes me feel terrible for a while. Now we are back to being dark when I go to work. I find that to be really depressing, I really don`t care that it is lighter for an hour more in the evenings since it is still too cold and rainy to be outside anyway. Well enough of my rant.

PamI did think about it and I didn't like it:D:D I'll do anything with you but that one, I was watching the video on how to do them and I cannot do that many as how it is supposed, maybe 3 good ones then all over the place. I didn't even know about the step portion on that video, but it looks a good one to do. No school is Labor day I think. Good for taking the day off and going shopping, I don't know what is a dueling piano but if it did make you feel old maybe it wasn't a good place. Have fun today maybe you will find a present.

Cheryl I'm liking it so much better now that I got the steps down. Well, some kind of lucky for sleeping in today but not that much when you had a little girl next to you:eek:. I'm glad that your first day of PT class went well, is good that the teacher is nice and knowledgable that made the class fun and make you want to be just like the teacher. Sounds like you are a very good student knowing everything you needed to know. Wow, you are going to do TRX ST? you have to tell me how do you like it.
Good job doing S&G, Oh boy:confused: time change again, I know last time I had hard time too getting used to it, that means that we will get it change it soon.


So yesterday I didn't workout we stayed home and watch movies, I did some cleaning and laundry, and at night I did some wine time:confused: I think I had a little to much because I woke up this morning with headache:eek: I'm not good doing that, Pam you are going to be very proud of me I did have Cabernet Sauvignon it was really good.
So, I was afraid of not doing good today with my WO, but I did pretty good, I did disc 19 double wave load for chest, shoulders, triceps, whew!! I got a good workout.

Janie Oh wow, the beach house sounds wonderful! How fun for you to get to go and see all of those changes! The warm weather will be here before you know it too and then you will really get to enjoy it! I'm so glad to hear that you are happy with the choices that you made!:D:D

The dueling pianos were a lot of fun, but I felt old because it was so loud in there you couldn't talk to anyone and we were ready to leave by 10:30! There were a lot of people just arriving when we were leaving :rolleyes:

Cheryl The dueling piano places just have 2 pianos up on stage and they play different songs and sing. They take requests all night and bring people up on stage and get everyone involved so it is fun. i did find my baby gift. I ended up just getting some cute little outfits which is always fun for a little girl.
so glad to hear that your first day of PT training went well. That is amazing that you get 1:1 training like that, how wonderful. You are sure to get great training!
i have been dying to try the TRX, you are going to have to report back on that as well. I'm thinking Eunice might have a TRX...? cathe was posting some interesting things about TRX on FB this week too.

Well I discovered this morning that i had no workout on my calendar because I finished the rotation. I'm not going to start another one yet because we are going to Vegas this weekend, so I'll wait til we get back. I did Step Works. Julie, I do really like that one, but I can see it being frustrating when you don't know the steps. i hope everyone is having a great day!

Well I did it again, I didn’t post over the weekend. I did do Body Max on Friday and Saturday. I did the cardio portion Friday night and the weight portion on Saturday morning. Then DH and I went to my parents and stayed the night. Sunday was full of grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry so no lazy day for me this weekend. The cool thing is that I ordered my new shoes on Wednesday night and they were delivered Friday. That is fast delivery! I got to try them out during Body Max and they were so much better than the other pair. My feet are happy again!

Cheryl Great job on disc 11 and LIChallenge! It has been so long since I did LIC that I will have to relearn it when it comes up again. That would be awesome to have your own teacher rather than one for a large classroom. Sounds like that is a perfect set up. Great job on S&G and yoga! I hate the time change too. My husband was excited because it stays light out later but I just get depressed like you because now I am going to work in the dark again. Hate it and wish they would do away with it. Can’t wait to hear what you think of the TRX trainer. I've looked into them briefly for DH but am not sure how it work in our house.

Eunice Great job on CSS! The premix with the step is good. It almost makes it as hard as Afterburn because it increases the length. Great job on disc 19! I love when I think I won’t do good on my workout and I surprise myself and get a great workout in. Sounds like you had a good day with relaxing and still getting some cleaning and laundry in. I’m glad you don’t have to starve Sam too much either.

Pam Sounds like you had a busy weekend! I’ve never been to a dueling piano bar. Sounds interesting but yes probably not something you would want to go too often. Oh in Circuit Max, Cathe says something like “these 8s are kicking butt” during lunges with bicep curls and all I think is I would love to see a close up of the guys’ faces when she says that and they roll their eyes. I think the some of the guys on STS use 5 pounders for some of the leg exercises. It makes me smile too! Great job on Step Works! That sounds smart not starting something until you get back from your trip to Vegas.

Janie Wow! Joey did get a lot done. That is so great that it is all coming together nicely. I can’t wait to see pictures of the finished project. It is going to look so spectacular. Great job on your walk/run on the beach! I can’t believe you are almost done with Meso 2 already. STS sure does fly by.

Pam I guess I was the only didn't know about the step portion in this video but its kind of cool I will have to do it next time. I know girls are more fun to shop for, there is more to pick from and for boy not that much. I think I do like the cabernet and what do you think about Merlot? we had some when we went to the winery and it was good with lamb. That must had be a shock for you when you went to check your calendar and see that you were finish with the rotation, a good one of course, I think its a good idea about waiting to pick another rotation after you get back from Vegas;) Good job doing Step works. Do you know which one are you going to pick?

Good job doing Body Max, I'm glad your new tennis shoes are working better for you, which ones did you get? I went to the website that Pam told you they have a few ones I don't know which ones are the ones you and Pam are getting.
I know I was very pleased surprise that I did better than I thought.

DOMS, DOMS left, right, front, back, I got worked out very good yesterday, my whole upper body is nice and sore. I hope now the lower body part follows, today I did legs disc 23 it was really good, very painful good those lower pulse lunges got me very good and the deadliest OMG I thought my hands were going to poop on me, it was hard to hold the barbell and it wasn't that heavy it was 72Lb, I think it is because of the load of the whole workout little by little I was getting smashed but loved it.

julie Great job on Body Max. I'm glad that your new shoes arrived so quickly AND especially that they worked better for you. it's good to have happy feet! In some of those STS discs I've noticed that the men are using much much lighter weight than the women. I've always wondered what was up like that. Especially because they are such big guys, so the weights look even smaller.

Eunice I don't usually like merlot very much but there are a few that I like. I like the really big strong flavors and a lot of the merlot I've had is more mellow than that. It would be good with lamb though, yum! I was surprised that I was done with the rotation because I thought I had one more week. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I was thinking that I had looked at Cathe's March rotation and it had looked pretty good, but I will have to revisit and see which one I will do.
Oh boy, good for you with your Total Body DOMS! Gotta love that!!! I don't like the forearm DOMs though :confused: I'm sure your hands were just fried byt the time you got to that 72 pound barbell!

This morning I did Circuit Blast. That is one that I have hardly ever done so I thought it would be a nice change. It's pretty short though, only 44 minutes, so I did the first 2 rounds again to make it longer. It was a good workout though. Yesterday was a fun day because they put the cabinets in in the basement. The bar looks beautiful and so does the bathroom vanity. I will have to get some pictures taken I guess. we are getting close to the end, I think that the floor is next. It was supposed to take 7 days to come in from when he ordered it though, so not sure if that will be this week or not. I hope everyone has a great day!

Last night I start the Cross Train Xpress series with Power Circuit. This was the first time I had done that one. I have done the back work from it as part of the Upper Body Split but I had never done the cardio and power circuits sections. It was pretty good. The power circuit sections were short and sweet and the back work has already produced some nice, lovely DOMS! Now I get to go to an all-day class at work. Oh joy!

Eunice Great job on disc 23! Umm! You used a 72 pound barbell for low pulse lunges?! WOW!!! That is crazy strong. I think I use 15 or 20 pound dumbbells. Or were you meaning you used a 72 pound barbell for the deadlifts? That’s still quite impressive that you held onto it. I have to use my versa grips for most deadlifts because anything over 60 pounds and my hands cannot hold the grip. Here is a link to the shoes I got. I love New Balance shoes. I should have known the first pair wouldn’t be a good pair. They were leather which constricts my wide feet. These new ones are made of a flexible material which is so much better.

Pam Great job on Circuit Blast! That one is short and sweet too! Good job for adding to it. The regular is great for an add on or on a tight schedule day. Oh, I am looking forward to seeing pictures. That is so great that it is all coming together so quickly. How exciting! I think I got the shoes so fast because they were shipping out of Missouri which is only about 4 hours away. But still I was quite impressed with the timing.

I told you all that I was going to do my 4th week of meso 3, but I'm mistaken, (I've finished that!) I'm starting the all and wonderful Meso 3 Strength tomorrow. I know this because when I went to my marker for meso 2, I had no more DVD's to do:confused:. Was in a hurry that day and it was at the Beach House. Did disc 24 legs and of course had to improvise, but it turned out great. Yea! I can't wait to get started on Meso 3 Strength disc 25, chest and back tomorrow. Well that has always been my personality, my whole life scatterbrained. Or is it Alzheimer? I hope just scatterbrained, can't worry about the latter just yet. Having to much fun living.

Looking outside right now and it's snowing! Yep, and we accumulated so far, about 1". Very wet and don't expect it to last long, but you never know about our crazy March weather.

Eunice, Great job on your DOM's and today's legs disc 23. You are doing right by using weight that you struggle with. You say 72#'s is not heavy? You are doing so well! Very proud of you.

Pam, Great job on this morning's CB. Making it longer is such a good idea to get your hour in. Your basement seems like it's getting there quickly now. I would love to see pictures of the bar, cabinets and vanity in the bathroom.

Cheryl, I'm glad your PT session went so well. I love that you had one on one time with the teacher. Great job on S&G and today's yoga. I agree, the time change messes things up. I'll take photos of the BH the next time I get over there.

Julie, Great job on Cross Train Xpress series with PC. Congrats on the DOM's. Hope you have a good day at work.;)

Pam Good to know about the wine, love lamb too that's what we had for diner tonight at it was sooooo good!:D I was looking at the March rotation and is this is just me or what, but I noticed that in almost all of the rotations Cathe has KCP :p is it weird? or maybe I'm the only one noticing it. Oh yes! I'm having trouble sitting on the potty:D Good job doing Circuit Blast, I know that one is very hard to find on a rotation Cathe should use that one more often, I almost subb my workout today for that one, one more time I had LIS Athletic Training, good one. I can't wait to see the pictures of your basement it sounds like it getting very nice and comfy.:D

Ooohhh! NO 72 on deadliest not the low pulse lunges, wow! 20 for those crazy pulse lunges is awesome, I was using 15Lb + the weighted gloves and by the time I got to the last round 12 were looking very pretty to me, but I did stick to the 15 and it felt goo. Of course today I have trouble sitting down. Thanks for the link now I know which ones you guys got. I always get mine from Adidas cute and purple the last few pairs I didn't have any trouble with but this time my last pair is killing my knees, I think.

JanieOh!! did you enjoy your movie/nap? hehe!! I love those kind of movies the one I get to have a nap.Wow!!! meso 3 is a good one you are going to love it DOMS are going to be in order for you. I had done 80lb for deadlifts when I was WO with DH, but taking longer rest not moving from one set to another like we do doing trisets.

CherylHi I hope you are doing good, maybe just very busy studying for your PT classes.

Today I had very stiffed legs hard to walk or squat, so when I saw in the calendar what I had for today I was thinking on changing it or taking the day off but I didn't I did LIS Athletic training legs got some love with that one:eek: I hope that helps me to feel better. Hehehe!!! that's what I want so that's what I got, more DOMS!!
This afternoon we had a thunderstorm and lightning storm very impressive we could seen the lighting across the sky, beautiful I wish I had a camera to take pictures like this, weird and funny last night the sky was so clear that DH got his telescope outside and we got to see saturn and mars very nice too, we love to see the wonders of our creator, the sky.

julie Great job on power circuit. I don't think I have that one and have definitely never done it. I'm glad you got some lovely DOMS though and hopefully that all day class wasn't too bad!

Janie For me it's unusual NOT to fall asleep during a movie! I hope you enjoyed it, you must've needed the sleep. That's funny that you thought you had another week left in the meso and you were already done. I guess you must be enjoying it! i can't believe you just got snow, I hope it didn't last long. We are enjoying gorgeous gorgeous weather, 82 today. I had to drive the convertible to work of course!

Eunice OOO, I'm jealous of your lamb for dinner last night. i was thinking I might need to make lamb stew this week since it's St Paddy's day. I probably won't though since I only have tonight or tomorrow. I do think that there are some workouts that Cathe seems to always put in rotations and others that she rarely does. I guess she has her favorites too, huh? Uh oh, failing the toilet test huh? And doing AT when your legs are already suffering is just cruel! Your poor legs. AT is a leg killer! Great job on that!
Oh I love thunderstorms. We used to love to watch them coming in over the lake when we were growing up. Te viw of saturn and mars sounds sooo cool! :D

This morning I continued with just doing fun workouts with Step Blast. Always love that one. Today they are starting to put the floor in our basement! I can hardly wait to go home and see how it is looking! I hope everyone has a great day!

Last night I was exhausted after my all day class at work. I don’t know why but those all-day classes and meetings are just so draining. Anyway, I managed to do CTX 10*10*10. I’m glad it wasn’t anything longer or I might not have been able to do it.

Janie Was the movie something you had seen before? If not, it must not have been that great if you fell asleep. Either that your you were really tired and needed the sleep. Yea! I am so excited that you are starting Meso 3. Oh, I wouldn’t be worried about Alzheimer’s if you have always been that way. Plus you have a lot going on right now. I can’t believe it is snowing there. We are enjoying beautiful weather in the 70s right now. Not sure how long it will last because March and April can still be iffy weather-wise but hopefully Spring is here a week early.

Eunice Great job on Athletic Training! That one sure does work the legs but hopefully since it is not weight work, it will help ease the DOMS you had from the weight work. I love thunderstorms but can do without the lightning sometimes. I think lightning is pretty but I worry about the damage it could do when it strikes trees or houses or whatever. Thunder is very soothing to me and I always sleep like a baby when we have thunderstorms. I think the last time I did those low pulse lunges, I started with 20s and moved down to 15s for the last round. They sure do add up. Well I hope you can find out what is going on with your knees. Did you say you work out on puzzle mats? Can those lose their cushioning after so long?

Pam Great job on Step Blast! A fun workout indeed and always a Blast! Are you getting tile put in? If I remember correctly, I thought that is what you had said you were doing. So did you purposely plan a trip to Vegas over St. Paddy’s day? Is there something special going on in Vegas because of the holiday? Not meaning to pry, just curious.
