Cheryl Thanks goodness the cake is gone, last weekend I was being bad and I ate bread:confused: plus the cake I didn't have a big slice but still. Did you really did some of the protein bars? which one? my favorite one is pumpkin protein bar and cinnamon bread I always have those in the fridge with the turkey muffins, easy and yummy and good. Good job doing LSICSS and today's yoga, so sad that the furry visiter is out, I mean good for you but now his going to be cold.:p


JanieGood job doing disc 18 back biceps wow! very good job with all those heavy weights:D you are doing awesome. Are you talking about the concentration curl? I hate those because I cannot go heavy I'm still struggling with 16Lb:mad:

We had a crazy day today since last night we had thunderstorms, lightning, rain, all day its being raining which means that now is very humid the floors got wet again:mad: I hate it because is very dangerous, slippery, and everything feel dumped, clothes, couches, yuck, I didn't do anything now is the time of the year that if I map the floor it never dry, so I have to wait till the evening, then I was home all day chilling doing nothing, I did disc 22 chest/shoulders/triseps and OMG I don't remember this one from before drop sets for the poor shoulders the whole entire shoulder:eek: my shoulders feel like "ticklish" don't know just a funny sensation I was cutting my protein bars and I had to take breack in between:p to funny, I hope that means that I got them good, my chest today was a bit weak I had to fight to get the last rep done but I did it.

janie great job on Hiit-P, I like that one too, but it always seems like it's harder than I remember! :rolleyes: Congrats on failing the toilet test!

Eunice My tri DOMs are better, but now it's my shoulders and back from the pushups and pullups on Saturday They are getting better though. That is so funny that you did AS becauise you were too lazy for aB< but then you ended up doing half of it too. I think you ended up with a harder workout than just AB! It is nice that we are doing almost the same videos every week. What rotation are you doing? I agree that Crossfit is not for every day, but I think I will do it once a week for a little while. It's kind've fun working out with other people again. Oh I hate the mice too! I don't know what I would've done if my DH hadn't been here to take care of them. I forgot that the trap was in there the other day and I opened the cupboard to put something away and there was a mouse in the trap. I just screamed and shut the door and let him come and get it. Ick! And our darn cats should be taking care of those things for us. I think they come in through the walls though and the cats can't even get to them. Funny that you called someone to come and get the one from under your hood. Did they laugh at you? I saw your amaretti torta on FB, oh it looks so good! I almost made chocolate chip cookies yesterday but I resisted the urge. :D

Cheryl Yes, Crossfit is very much like a bootcamp workout. I liked the change and I think I will enjoy doing it once a week for awhile. As I was telling Eunice, it's a nice change to get out and workout with other people again. I'm glad you didn't sprain your ankle! Great job on LISCSS and yoga, i have been bad and not doing yoga again :confused: Oh man, your poor little raccoon, hopefully he found a nice warm spot besides your garage. They are really cute little buggers but they can be a real problem! I bet you about jumped out of your skin when you saw him watching you!

Janie Great job on disc 18, I like those backoff sets too! It sounds like you are using some pretty heavy weight too, you go girl!! just a few more days and you will have fulfilled your jury duty obligation, I know you will be happy about that!

Eunice Oh boy, I hope all of your crazy weather has cleared up! Great job on disc 22! That is too funny that you had to take a break from cuttingg your protein bars. It sounds like you are going to have some serious DOMS.

Yesterday was a rest day for me. I just did some cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and cooking and went to visit my mom for a little while. This morning was Hiit 30/30, always a goodie! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Apparently I don’t post on the weekends anymore. Looks like I missed a lot. I guess I better get better at posting. Friday night I did Power Max! It was super fun and flew by. Saturday morning I did the weight section from the Wedding Video. Then it was shopping, running errands, cooking, and cleaning. DH fell off his trailer ladder (he drives a semi truck) on Friday and hurt is back and then came down with the flu over the weekend. Needless to say, he didn’t get any walking on the treadmill in. I actually got to relax on Sunday other than doing laundry. I should have done Yoga Relax or a Stretch Max but I was feeling ultra-lazy.

Janie Great job on disc 17! I remember that one from the first time I did STS. It killed me and I walked funny for about 2-3 days afterwards. The second time through it wasn’t so bad though. Great job on DWP! I like that one too because for some reason it flies by faster than the other Hiits. Great job on disc 18! Those are great weights! I think I am about that on biceps. I love those gloves for adding small weight increases.

Cheryl Bummer on the ankle. At least it healed quickly. OMG!! Your visitor is too cute hanging from the rafters. I know raccoons are not the type of visitors you want though. I think your plan to do the PT thing during retirement is awesome and getting started now will sure help. Did you see a post Cathe did that gave tips on becoming a Personal Trainer? She gave some pretty detailed advice I think. I’m far from retirement but like to dream about what my second career would be. Great job on CSS and then yoga! Well I am glad you got your little friend out and I am sure he found some place warm to go—maybe your neighbor’s garage! He was cute but I am not sure that raccoons make good pets!

Pam Wow! You are a super woman to do Imax 2 and your first day of Crossfit back to back! I’m amazed. That’s cool they had different bands to help assist with the pullups. I know I would definitely need that. I’m glad you had fun and everyone was nice and supportive. I know that can make a big difference in your experience. Your weather is certainly crazier than our weather with the ups and downs. Hopefully it starts heading up and staying there soon. Yep the end of this week may kill me. I’m doing MIC Thursday, MIS Friday, and Imax on Saturday. If I don’t post this weekend, it is because I am still lying on my workout room floor trying to stand up. Great job on 30/30!

Eunice Great job on Athletic Step plus the Afterburn Singles premix! That is awesome and I bet you felt so good about yourself afterwards. That cake sounds so delicious. I love amaretto. I like snow on Christmas and I think it is pretty but I don’t like having to drive in it. I totaled my car about 10 years ago driving in bad snow and am still a little nervous whenever the weather starts to get bad. Plus, I am cold blooded and need the warmth of the sun. Great job on disc 22! I’ve had times my arms are so sore, I have to take a break while washing the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair! Hey, that’s a good thing to be fighting for the last rep, right? It means you are pushing your muscles hard!

Did intervals for 30 min. on the treadmill. Got a really nice sweat going. Beach house update: Joey has completely finished the bathroom and my bedroom and the hallway. WooHoo! When I get there I will be painting his bedroom, and hopefully the living room. Still a lot to do, but it's coming together more quickly now. Oh, we had to buy a new dryer. Next will be the washer.

Eunice, Our weather was crazy here too. We had hail, wind, rain and snow. That is March weather! Well, March is just around the corner. All gone now thank God! I don't like it when the humidity is that hi. The beach house place has a lot there, but will deal with that. lOL. Get a dehumidifier, they work very well. Great job on disc 22 chest, shoulders and triceps. I think your shoulders most certainly got exercised good.;) Yes, that's what they are called, concentration curls. Dah. I just couldn't remember the name. LOL

Pam, When the jury duty obligation is done, I'm heading for the Beach house. Great job on your rest day. Catching up on things and visiting with your Mom. How she doing by the way? Great job on Hiit 30/30.

Julie, 23 more day tell Spring? I can't wait! Great job on Friday's PM, Saturday's weight section from the Wedding Video and errands. That was a busy weekend. So sorry about your honey falling off the semi truck ladder. Is he OK? And catching the horrible flu. Wish him well.

Janie Good job on disc 18. Aren't the back off sets great. Way to go with the weights that you were using too. Jeez another week of calling in for jury duty!!!! That is not nice. Eunice Yesterday I made the carrot cake protein bars. They aren't too bad. I haven't tried the pumpkin protein bar or the cinnamon bread yet. I hate the humidity you always feel damp. We are both on the same workout I did disc 22 today too. You must have worked your shoulders good to have to take a break cutting your protein bars.

Pam I liked it when I was doing bootcamp during the summer. It is nice to get into a group and workout with other people. It lets you know how fit you really are too as you can compare yourself to other people. The racoon was really cute but you are right they can be a problem.. He did make quite the mess that we had to clean up. Actually I was quite calm when I saw him watching me, he was still about 10 feet from me so he wasn't really close. Good job on 30/30 this morning.

Julie Good job on Power Max and the weight section of WV. I hope your DH back is feeling better and he is over the flu. Hopefully he can get back to working out soon. I did see Cathe's post on tips to become a PT. It was informative. Don't worry about being far away from retirement, it will fly by and will be here before you know it. It took me a while to decide what my next career would be you have time to figure it out. No racoons do not make good pets, they can actually be quite mean if they are cornered.

Today was disc 22 for me Chest Shoulders and Biceps. I really liked the drop sets and the workout just flew by. Anyway I need to get to some studying. I haven't gone for my first PT class yet but there is a lot of prereading to do.

Pam Is nice that you got a good workout on Saturday. Can you imagine working out with all the Cathletes? I mean working out with others is fun but working out with people that does the same thing is crazy fun!! I'm doing the 3 month LIS+STS rotation that Cathe did put up. I can pictured you screaming and running out of your house because of the mice, good for DH being home to get it out, to funny that your cats are not taking care of them. When I called a guy to get the mice from under the hood couldn't say anything because I had a big belly pregnant and I think it was a rat because I remember that thing being huge. Good for you for resisting the urge of chocolate chips cookies, when I bake cookies I hardly eat some, but cake I have to have a little slice. Good job for taking a rest day visiting your mom and having a time with her so nice, and today doing 30/30


Julie Apparently you forget about us on the weekends :p JK, Good job doing Power Max I love that one, and for doing the weight section from the wedding video, I haven't done that one. You were busy doing a lot of errands, I hope your honey get better soon, how scary felling off the trailer then toping it of with the flu, I'm glad you got to relax though. Janie Gppd job doing intervals for 30min, yahoo!!! your house is coming together, how excited!!! I can't wait to hear "we are done" then will be only happiness and enjoying the new house. Good job to Joey for working so hard in your guys house. Thanks for the tip on the dehumidifier I don't know if it is worthy because winter is almost here and this is going to be our last time dealing with the humidity, 29 Palms don't have that. Don't worry about not remembering the name sometimes I have to go back to the dvd and look for what ever I'm missing, name of a move or something.:D


Cheryl I like those carrot protein bars too, you should try the pumpkin they are awesome!! Do you get the same humidity as us over here?:eek: I know we are doing the same workout only by hours. Yes I did I remember last time I did disc 22 my shoulder was giving me some trouble so I had to lower my weight, but this time around I'm fine and I did my best, I used the weight I was supposed to use and I felt it good. Good job doing disc 22 chest/shoulders/biceps, have fun studying I'm sure you are going to do good.



Oh boy today I had a very busy day, I thought that since yesterday we had a yucky weather and I couldn't clean the floors I would do it early today before the weather changed on me, so I clean the house, vacuuming, clean the little ones room, their bathroom, and the floors, well today the weather wasn't as bad as yesterday it was nice and cool, so anyways now I kind of have a nice house, for a while of course, I did disc 20 legs I was glad that it was only 49min but I got a good workout I'm using the forms that I downloaded from last time I did sts, so I'm comparing how much weight I did used last time and now and I'm doing pretty good, it feels good...
Also I took the girls to swimming class come home to prepare dinner, packed lunch baked cupcakes because I didn't have anything for snack for tomorrow school so I figured lets do some cupcakes instead of going to the store, any ways I'm so dead right now.

Julie i know what you mean about posting on the weekends, I often forget because I get all focused on how I'm going to be spening my weekend. I love love power max! That is one of my favorites. That reminds me that I still need to try the wedding video, I need to get that on the list! So sorry to hear about your DHs back and the flu. Poor guy, hope he is doing better now. That is great that you got to relax on Sunday.
I think maybe crazy woman would be a better description of doing Imax2 and Crossfit back to back, but it wasn't too bad. I probably won't make a habit of it though :rolleyes: you made me laugh saying that you might still be lying on your workout room floor trying to stand up, now I am picturing that! :D

Janie Great job on your treadmill intervals!! Oh boy, it sounds like the beach house is really coming along now. I bet it will be fun for you to go and see all of the changes!
My mom is doing great, thanks. She is pretty amazing for being over 80. Talk about an energizer bunny....:rolleyes:

Great job on disc 22, you have really been doing great since you got that sleep mask. I'm so impressed! Oh boy, studing, not sure I miss that part of training. Enjoy!

Eunice it sure would be fun to workout with all of the Cathletes and I guess I will get to do that when we go on a roadtrip, right?! DH didn't take care of the mouse right away, he assumed that I had taken it out. Ha, no chance of that! OOoooo, a rat would be so gross. When we were in NYC they were having a photo contest for a picture of the ugliest subway rat :confused: Luckily we didn't see any rats when we were there! I'm the opposite of you, I can resist cake, but not cookies, especially chocoloate chip!
Wow, you were quite the busy woman with all of that cleaning and disc 20 as well! I think you are going to be sore tomorrow! Are you doing heavier weights with STS this time? I hope you are resisting those cupcakes :p

This morning for me was Butts and Gutts. I think I am going to be feeling it tomorrow because my hamstrings are already sore! I'm working at home today because someone is coming to clean our carpets. It will be nie to get that done! The basement is coming along. the painters were here yesterday and primed the walls, so i guess they will be back today to paint. They tint the primer the color of the paint so we got a pretty good idea of what the color will look like. I'm not sure I like the color that we picked for the bathroom so we may have to change that one, but everything else looks pretty good. The guy is still working on the bathroom tile and it looks really nice. DH told the builder that he hopes he doesn't pay the tile guy by the hour because he is really sloooooow :rolleyes: He's doing a nice job though. That's all my news for now, have a great day everyone!

Last night I did the step portion of the Wedding Video. It was pretty good. I really liked the second part, where the step is turned long ways. It was the perfect amount of intensity for a tired Monday. DH was feeling better yesterday and did the treadmill for about 50 minutes with 10 walk/jog intervals.

Janie Great job on intervals! Sounds like the beach house remodeling is getting there. Do you think it will be ready for this Spring/Summer? I’m getting so excited for you! DH is doing much better. He rested over the weekend and that helped his back from the fall and the flu. I’m glad it didn’t last long and I’m pretty happy I didn’t get it.

Cheryl Great job on disc 22! DH’s fall just jarred his back a little. He laid on the heating pad for a while and that helped. Luckily the flu wasn’t too bad so he was back at the treadmill today. Right now if I had to pick a second career I am thinking something with animals. Maybe a receptionist at a vet. I’ve thought about going to vet technician school but that would be a lot of work too. Look at you with your nose to the grindstone studying away already!

Eunice Great job on disc 20! Wow your day sounded like my Saturdays the last couple weeks. It does feel nice to have a clean house if only for a short while before it gets dirty again. Well I don’t mean to forget you over the weekends. Actually, I usually remember just as I am getting ready to fall asleep. Of course, I am too tired to get up and post then. DH is doing much better. I think the crazy weather going up and down gave him the flu. His fall wasn’t too bad. It just twinged his back a little so resting it a few days was all he needed luckily. It has been too long since I was sore all over with DOMS. I miss them. I will be doing Max. Int. Strength this week so that should do the trick!

Pam Great job on B&G! Let us know how the toilet test goes tomorrow! That’s great that the basement is coming along nicely. That’s the bad thing about paint, having to wait until it is up to really know how it is going to look. I think that’s my problem on the weekends too. I’ll finish my Saturday morning workout and think I will post right away and then something happens and before I know it I am cleaning, running errands, cooking or whatever and it is time for bed again. I guess I just get easily distracted on Saturdays.

Eunice The carrot protein bars are good. I will have to try the pumpkin ones. No we don't get much humidity usually. It might get really humid in the summer for a couple of days but that is about it. Pam I think our racoon has stayed away. I haven't been in the garage since Sunday but we did block the way he came in so I think we are OK. Things have been better since getting the sleep mask but I think I will take tgmorrow as my day off and get back to it for Thursday. The studying isn't too bad since it is something I want to learn. Good job on Butts and Gutts let us know how you do on the toilet test :D. The nice thing about paint is that it is easy to change. It never does look like the chip once it gets on the walls does it. Too funny that your DH hopes that he isn't paying the tile guy by the hour. At least he is doing a good job.

Julie I like the second part of the step portion of WV the best too. I am glad to hear that your DH is doing better. He is doing well with getting back on the treadmill again right after being sick. It would be nice to work with animals. I have thought about volunteering at the SPCA but I can get too attached and too emotional when it comes to animals. If it is something that you would like to do you should look into it. You never know where it could lead. My first class isn't for another 10 days but I need to go over the bones and muscles of the body before my first class. Because it is something I am interested in it doesn't feel like work (well maybe a bit) but I am enjoying it.

Today was disck 20 Legs. I really like doing the trisets. The workout flew by. Today they were filming a scene from Fringe just outside our building. It was a scene that had the guys that are bald and always wear a hat a suit. I can't remember what they are called in the show. There were a few of them in the scene. They were only there a couple of hours but they sure do need a lot of equipment for a couple of minute shot. All the trucks were lined up down the street and the food tents. They always have good food, it smells so good when you walk past.

Pam Of course, we are ring to go workout to Cathe RT I can't wait for that one. OMG, I cannot believe people had a contest of the ugliest rat, I'll die if I see one of those in my house, once I saw a tv show of NYC rats they are gross and ugliest all of them, there could not be only "one" all of them are the same.:eek::eek::eek: We are so much alike in so many things and so diff an another, we love the pain of a good workout and I cannot resist a cake but don't care about cookies and you the vise versa, (is that the right word?) :p You are right today I'm sore, big time sore that I knew what was the workout of the day but I went to double check because my whole body still tender to a touch can you imagine how I'm feeling right now? after doing Athletic Train? ouch!!! I'm doing heavier in some moves and anthers the same but loving it. NO, no cupcakes for me. Good job doing Butts & Gutts, are you walking funny? :p You must be excited on having the basement project moving alone, are you painting your whole house or just the basement? well if you cannot change the color in the bathroom at least that is the last place in the house you would spend most of your time:D Just messing with ya!!! I hope your DH make sure that he is not paying by hour if that guy is a slowpo. Enjoy your work from home!!!!

It does feel good to have a nice clean house, of course with our beloved dogs and my kids there is not such a thing as "long while" this morning I quickly swap the kitchen floor and I had a good amount of Sam's hair and girl's hair,:eek::confused: I think they need to go bold.:p Get ready for a nice DOMS week.

CherylWhat kind go protein do you use? do you order online or buy it locally? I need to get more I used a lot for my baking and after workout drink. You are lucky that you don't get this crazy humid weather, is gross!:mad: I love the trisets as well, they get me well. Enjoy your study. Good job doing disc 20 legs, I thought that there was a mistake in the calendar my upper body still sore and now my legs are sore, + today's workout I was done. I'm loving all this high reps kind of workout cathe have us doing, good burn. How fun being able to see a filming scene just outside of your place, I used to watch that show before, not here. Did you see the couple of the show? I don't remember her name or the guys name Lol!! I'm helpless. I think I'm hungry just reading how good their food smelled.



Like I told Pam, I had to double check the calendar to make sure the workout of today, I knew it but because of my whole beautiful body is medium rare, tender, sore:D and I know that Athletic train is a crazy good one, with lots of high reps, I was fear, but I did it and I was sure glad when it was over, those legs drill are good ones and the bend over rear flys OMG, 16 then 12 then 8:eek::eek: whew!!! then pushups ok I'm tired again giving you a detail of the well know workout. hahaha!!!

The toilet test wasn't too bad yesterday after B7G, my hamstrings were feeling it the most. luckily it was the smallest room that we didn't like the paint in and since it was just the primer that had been done so far they are going to change it. They didn't get that done yesterday though since he has to get the paint. They got the main room painted though and we are really happy with the color.

Cheryl I'm glad to hear that your buddy has stayed away. They can cause quite a mess. it really does make a difference when you are doing something that you enjoy, doesn't it? Great job on disc 20, i really like the trisets too. it makes the workout go by really fast. That sounds like fun watching them film Fringe. I have never seen that show but have heard that it is pretty good. It's amazing what goes into such a short shot!

Eunice I'm with you, I think all rats are incredibly ugly. They make my skin crawl! my niece had a little one as a pet, yuck. Ashley was getting a hamster when she was younger and the guy at the pet store tried to talk us into a rat instead, he said they are much more social. I didn't care because I didn't want a rat in my house. Of course her hamster was really mean and would bite her all the time :rolleyes: Luckily he didn't live too long! Yep vice versa is the right word, it's funny huh? OMG, you did Atheletic training when your whole body was sore to the touch?! You are a super woman! Great job! Hahahaha, no walking funny for me yesterday. We are not going to have the whole house painted right now, but the rest of the house does need it. DH says he's going to paint the rest of the house, we'll see......:rolleyes:
OmG, those leg drills in AT are killers, it seems like they are never going to end! Hopefully you had a rest day after all of that!

Yesterday I totally forgot to post, must've been that Leap Day thing or something. I was supposed to do Kick max yesterday morning but I don't have that one. Usually I cobble it together with the pieces that are in the HCE workouts, but I didn't feel like doing that so I just did the original bootcamp since I hadn't done it in a long time. It was good, squat thrust climbers and all! This morning was Intensity and it was Intense! :p I also just noticed that I have CCC on the calendar again on Monday. Yikes! Better take it easy Sunday night. Have a great day ladies!

So with the news of the possible virus on the site, I stayed away yesterday (hardest thing I have ever done). So here is a recap. Tuesday night I did Step Fit! That one is so much fun. I even don’t mind the Macarena cool down at the end. DH got home really late that night. Plus he had stayed up Monday night to watch the Daytona 500 so he was exhausted and pretty much ate dinner and went to bed. Last night I did Step Works. I didn’t really like this one much but I am not sure if it was because I was tired and having trouble getting the footwork down or what. DH got back on the treadmill (or as he calls it “the walking machine”) and tried to do some hill intervals using the incline but it was bothering his foot (he broke it about 15 years ago and it never healed properly) so he decided to just do steady state. I’m proud of him for not giving up.

Cheryl Great job on disc 20! You guys sure get a lot of excitement in your area. First Randy Quaid and now a taping of a Fringe scene. Actually, I thought I heard that the Vancouver area was used a lot in filming now. Oh, I thought about volunteering at shelters but am like you and would end up as one of those animal hoarders for sure. That is good that the studying doesn’t feel like work. Being interested in what you’re reading definitely helps.

Eunice Great job on Athletic Training! That one is a goodie for sure. It doesn’t seem to let up until close to the end. Enjoy your whole body DOMS! Oh boy! All that hair. We definitely have to sweep every week and probably should do it every couple days but I don’t have the time. Every time I sweep I get a small mountain of dog hair. I swear they should be bald by now. I’ve thought about those hairless dogs but then they kind of creep me out a little.

Janie Hope you enjoyed your rest day! Bummer on the snow. I do hope it melts quickly though. I’m sure you are like me and ready for Spring! Are you almost done with having to call in for Jury Duty?

Pam Great job on Bootcamp and Intensity! Both great workouts. Hope you rest up over the weekend for CCC. That is the good thing about being able to color the primer and get a sneak peak at what it will look like. It’s good that you can change the color too before it got too far in the process. So are you going with a completely different color in the bathroom or just a different shade of the same color? I love painting. I know I’m one of those weirdos but there is something about it that I just love. I would rather paint than do any other type of housework.

Did disc 19, chest, shoulders and triceps. For the larger muscles (chest) used 12's for the first set, then 15's for the second set and then 20's for the third set. Then we did it all over again! For the smaller muscles (shoulders and triceps) used 8's, 10's and 12's. Whew. I'm using heavier weight. Woo Hoo!
I'll most likely do a cardio tonight and if I do will post that update.

Been doing a lot of crocheting lately and needed a break from it. Learned something interesting searching the computer about felt soap. You felt over soap and now instead of using a wash cloth you use the soap that is felted. I used it for the first time last night and it's wonderful. Just have to message it for just a little while (like you would a wash cloth to soap up) and it's so cool. Here's a photo to give you an idea what they are.

The wool is anti fungal, so there would not be a chance for mildew or mold or anything yucky like that growing if it stays damp. I love doing this, it was so much fun and will continue to make them for a few more days.

Pam, 80 degrees in Winter is CraZY! What on earth?!? Would enjoy that too if I were there. Great job on BC yesterday and today's Intensity. I know, that one is very challenging.:confused:

Julie, Don't blame you for not wanting to catch the possible virus and staying away. Great job on Tues. ST and yesterday's SW. Great job for your DH's treadmill/walking machine for the attempt on hill intervals and the steady state. I'm proud of him as well for not giving up. Good for him! Jury Duty: They want me to call in today at an earlier time. They will then confirm whether or not I'll be coming in at 12:30 today for whatever. Joey made an appt. for me to see a dentist on Friday. Sure hope I can make the dentist appt. I don't know. This is such a hassle every year. I think I will let them know that once a year is a bit much for me. Don't think it will do a bit of good though.

Eunice I just use Whey protein powder from GNC. I like to just go to the store to get it instead of ordering it online. I used to watch Fringe too but for some reason I stopped. I would like to get back to watching it though. Good job on AT when your whole beautiful body is medium rare :D.

Janie We got snow too but it didn't last long. I hope you enjoyed your rest day. It seems they do more standing around than filming. The scene was probably less than a minute long but they were there for about three hours. Good job on disc 19 Chest Shoulders and Triceps. I had never heard of felt soap before. Pam So far so good with our buddy. I think we boarded it up pretty good so he can't get back in. I used to watch Fringe but I don't know why I don't any more. I did like the show. Good job on Bootcamp and Intensity. Oh no CCC again, yep you better rest up Sunday :D.

Julie Good job on Step Fit. The macarena cool down is fun. I like Step Works, maybe you just need to get the footwork down to enjoy it. Good job to DH for doing his walking machine. Even if he can't do incline work he is still doing it. Good for him. Vancouver does have a lot of movies and TV shows filmed here. I just found out that they film Alcatraz here. When I was watching it some scenes looked like Vancouver but I wasn't sure, now I know that it was. The new 21 Jump Street was filmed here too. The TV show was also filmed here 20 years ago. I remember I lived downtown at the time and I would walk by where they were setting up fiming in the mornings. There are a lot more shows that are filmed here but I can't think of what they are right now.

Yesterday I took it as my day off and I am glad that I did because I had some stomach pains :confused:. I have no idea what caused it but it lasted all day long. I was in bed by 7:30 last night and I slept right through until my alarm this morning. I was doing better today but my stomach was still giving me some problems but I hope to get back to it tomorrow. To top it all off my crown decided to come off at work when I was chewing some gum. So off to the dentist I went to get it cemented back in. It was one of those days.

Anyway Happy Friday everyone.

Didn't exercise yesterday. I was called in for Jury selection and now I'm a Juror. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. The trial starts today so getting ready now to leave. It should hopefully finish today or Monday maybe. I'll update later tonight. I have an STS disc to do too. Legs

Cheryl, OMG! Wonder what it was with your stomach? Maybbe something you ate? It sounded like a horrible no good very bad day. Do hope it's a better day for you today.

Julie I didn't know about the possible virus on the site, but I guess it was a good thing then that I forgot to post! Great job on Step Fit. i have only done that once, I always forget about it, but I do remember liking it. I guess it never shows up in rotations. I need to keep that one in mind though. Hmmm....I'm trying to remember which on Step works is. I can't remember if it is one of the ones I like or not. Great job on it though. Good for DH hanging in there on the treadmill too! I love that he calls it the walking machine! We are going with a completely different color in the bathroom. The one we picked looked way too orange for our taste. My DH loves to paint too, I hate it!

Cheryl I guess I will have to put Fringe on my list of shows to start watching at some point once we finish Breaking Bad. We are really enjoying that show!

This morning for me was Muscle Max. I was really tempted to go back to bed but decided to hang in there and do it. Luckily this is one that I really like and it goes by fast, so I was glad I didn't succumb to the urge to go back to sleep. It always gets me good too, my muscles were singing afterwards! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Last night was Maximum Intensity Cardio. Boy was I happy when it was over. I really wanted to just lay down instead of doing the stretching but I was a good girl and did the stretching and then laid down! DH took the night off because his feet were hurting. I’ve noticed mine have been hurting lately too and I don’t know if it is from all the high impact stepping or my shoes are old. They are only about 9 months old but I may just buy new ones this weekend to be on the safe side.

Janie Great job on disc 19! YEA, for going up in weights! That’s the best feeling in the world is when you see that increase in weights being used. There you go getting all creative again. You do some really cool things. I would have never even known there was such a thing as felted soap if I didn’t know you. Hope jury duty goes well.

Cheryl Bummer on the stomach ache and the crown coming off. I hope you are feeling better today. I really hate when my stomach hurts. It just makes everything else feel lousy. I guess the only Brightside is that it seems like you got an awesome night’s sleep. Wow that is a lot of shows being filmed in Vancouver. So when the original 21 Jump Street was being filmed did you ever get to see Johnny Depp? I have a slight love affair going on with him.

Pam Great job on MM! My first and favorite Cathe weight workout. I remember the first time doing it not being able to make it all the way through those plié pulses – and I was only using like an 8 pound dumbbell. The first time I made it all the through those, I screamed so loud I scared our dog. Step Works is the oldie step workout where Cathe’s hair is really short. I think it would be a fun one if my feet had been working properly. Or maybe it was my brain not working properly to tell my feet what to do!

Janie Let us know how you enjoyed jury duty. I have only had to go in for selection for several trials but I have never been picked to sit on one.

Pam I haven't watched Breakin Bad but I have heard that it is good. I need to get Fringe back on my list again too. My stomach is doing better but it took several days to get back to normal. It is not fun having one of those days. At least for me they don't happen all that often. Good job on Muscle Max and doing it even though you wanted to go back to bed.

Julie Maximum Intensity Cardio is a doozy isn't it. That was one of my first Cathe videos. With the amount you use your shoes you should replace them at least every six months. They do lose their cushioning and that is why your feet start to hurt. For me it is more in the knees and I know that I need to replace my shoes. Vancouver is also known as Hollywood North because there is so much filmed here. I don't remember seeing Johnny Depp sorry :). Funny with all of the movie stars that are here I never see anyone. One of my staff does the Grouse Grind (it is a trail up the side of Grouse mountain) and she ran into Matt Damon. She showed me the picture of her with him.

Well since I haven't been eating much because of my stomach issues I did not have any energy to workout this morning. I haven't been hungry at all so I haven't been eating dinner. I hope I am back on track (I did have dinner tonight) and I will be able to get my back and bicep work in tomorrow.

Pam Oh boy, I don't care how sociable the rats are they can stay back at the pet store. I'm a lot better today though. AT is a killer if you have sore body parts from days before, but I think I'm finally loving it. Well, I don't know what happen here I didn't know about the virus, Good job doing Booth Camp original, I hardly do that one, is a hard one, and also for doing Intensity, I forgot how good hard is that one till this morning. Good for you for having CCC on Monday. hehehe!!!

Well, this week for sure went by so fast, we had have a crazy weather its being raining on and off and its getting cold. Also we took Sam for his shots and we got the bad news that he is over weight:( poor my boy now he is doing diet.
Thursday I did disc 22 (I think?) Back/biceps really good workout double wave load I got a good workout, Friday I got it off, I didn't do anything today I did Intensity and it was hard one, it was a while since I did it last time but it was a fun one, I also did the boot camp part.
Tomorrow I might do todays workout, we'll see.
Well have a good weekend every one.:D
