Strength in Numbers

So far I'm thinking that today will be my rest day. But in the back of my mind I just might do a step workout later tonight. We'll see.

Cheryl, I love your photo! Tell your brother he has done such a professional sitting. Great job on TBTUB. Blanks are something else, aren't they?

Eunice, Thank you for the link. After I'm done with Cathe's 8 month rotation for me, I think I would like to do this.

Pam, Hope you do sneak out into that beautiful weather for lunch. Great job on KPC, yep it is a fun workout.

Julie, Give a pat on the back for your hubby for me. Tell him I know it's hard and that once he does it more often the more desire he will have to want to the exercises. It will be part of his life. It's hard in the beginning. Great job on Sten N Motion. An oldie but a goody. Yep, Cathe's body since then has changed drastically. Love what she's done. Tell your DH great job on the interval treadmill. Intervals as you say is a good way to burn the fat.

Have a good day ladies,

Janie

Eunice I will check out the 5 x 5 program that you posted.

Pam I only posted one picture because they are pretty much all the same. I am very glad that Spring is getting closer. I am really tired of the cold and rain right now. Good job on KPC that is a fun workout.

Julie Wow you really did go back to the beginning. That is one workout that I don't have. It is amazing to see how everyone has changed over the years and the outfits too :D. I am glad that DH hasn't let the fact that he hasn't lost any weight discourage him. It will happen, sometimes it takes a bit longer for some people to see a difference. Well if his clothes are fitting a bit looser somethink is happening even though you can't measure it. Thanks for the compliments. I need to use a straightening iron for my hair to lay flat otherwise it just looks like a mess.

Janie Enjoy your rest day or enjoy your step workout tonight :D. I will let my brother know about your compliments on his picture. He is getting all the equipment that he needs to take professional pictures.

It was disc 29 plyo legs for me today. Those 180 turns did leave me sweating buckets though.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Julie Great job on Step N motion. I have seen that one on ebay before, but from your description it doesn't sound like one I need to get. It really is fun seeing how much different Cathe looks, isn't it? She looked good then, but I think she looks fabulous now. Good for you DH doing some jog/walk intervals on the treadmill. That will help him build his endurance too!
I think KPC did help with my leg soreness some, but then today's leaner legs will put it right back again  Of course I don't mind if you share my story with him! If he is seeing a difference in how his clothes fit though something is working! Like it or not though, seeing the change on the scale is the best motivation there is.

Janie OK, where did you end up? Rest day or step? Didn't I see something on FB about the treadmill....? We are planning to go visit our oldest at school for lunch on Friday, so unless something comes up it looks like I'll at least get a little taste of that nice weather. I think it is supposed to get pretty close to 70 today too.

Cheryl Is your brother going to be doing photography as a business? i can't complain too much about winter so far. We have had an incredibly mild one. DH has been able to play every weekend except one and that was because it was raining. I am still happy that spring is right around the corner though.
Great job on disc 29! I got to suffer through those 180 degree turns on Monday. I'm always glad when they are over!

This morning for me was Leaner legs. It seemed pretty easy after some of these other ones. Now I need to get some work done! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Last night I did Step Max! I think this may have been my first time doing that one. I stumbled a little bit with the moves even though they weren't terribly complex. It was ok but not so much fun that I would pull this one out often. I was proud of DH because he didn’t want to workout but I convinced him to get on the treadmill for 30 minutes and he did 35.

Janie Hope you enjoyed your rest day if you took one. You have been working so hard you deserve to take some rest for your hard worked muscles. DH thanks you for the support. He is coming around to the idea that slower weight loss is better even if it is harder to keep motivated.

Cheryl Great job on disc 29! Those 180s are the worst. I have a love/hate relationship with them for sure. Cathe sure was super tiny with little spindly arms in Step N Motion. It is crazy to see how much muscle she has gained since then. I think DH is coming around and realizing that he needs to be patient. He is doing so much better than I thought he would do.

Pam Great job on LL! Wow LL seems easy? Well I do remember it being easier than say Butts & Guts but it is like half as long as B&G too! It is neat to see Cathe’s change. I was thinking about putting in a LIS DVD right after SNM to really see the comparison. Not only has the video quality drastically improved but Cathe looks like a totally different person. Her is straight now and she has much more muscle. But I do agree she looked great then and looks fabulous now. I will share your story with DH tonight. I think it will make him feel a little better but for his sake, I really hope that scale moves in a downward direction this weekend.

Have a great day!

I cannot believe that I did lost my post:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Well sorry ladies I won't start another one sorry.....
You guys are doing great!
Yesterday I did Athletic Training and today I did Total Body trisets upper body split.
Sorry but I think is because of my internet was down then I got time out from the Cathe.com
Pam maybe next weekend we can do intensity! Of course we cannot live any one out of the picture so Cheryl, Julie and Janie can join us.
Have a great day every one.

Did disc 16, chest, shoulders and triceps. Feels so good to use heavy weight to failure.

Cheryl, Great job on on disc 29 plyo legs. Love it when the body sweats bukets! Good Job!

Pam, I ended up with a rest day. Glad I did too, it was a great workout for me and lifted heavier than expected. Enjoy that wonderful weather coming your way. Great job on Leaner Legs.

Julie, Great job on SM. I love that one, it's an oldie but a goody for me. Bravo for your honey on the treadmill for 35. Good for him. You need to be convincing for beginners. You did good by him.

Eunice, It's OK for not doing another post. I do understand, since it's happened to me a few times as well. It's very annoying! Great job on AT and today's TBT upper body split.

Take care ladies and gentlemen,

Janie

Julie Great job on Step Max! There are a few of her older ones that I don't like very much and I think that is one of them. I know I have it, but I have only done it once or twice so have to agree with you on the fun factor of that one. Big pat on the back for doing 35 minutes on the treadmill when he didn't feel like doing anything! Hopefully he felt good about it afterwards too!
Yes, exactly, LL seemed easier mainly because it is shorter I think! That would be interesting to do the comparison between the old videos and the new ones. I'm really hoping your DH sees the scale going down this weekend too. I know that certainly gives that boost that you need to keep going. It doesn't seem worth all the trouble if you aren't seeing the results.

Eunice OH BOO! I HATE it when I lose a post. That is so annoying. I don't blame you for not starting over either. errrrrr. Great job on AT and TBTUB, didn't you do that one earlier in the week too? I did it this morning. I was looking at my calendar this morning and noticed that I have intensity scheduled for next Thursday. One week from today, are you in???? I'm not sure if Julie can do it and mess up her oldest-newest rotation....but of course, the more the merrier!

Janie Great job on disc 16. I bet you are feeling it today! Good for you taking a rest day too so that you could go so heavy afterwards. It does make a difference!

This morning was the cardio only portion of S&G and TBTUB. Whew, it felt great. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Pam

Last night was Step Heat! It was a lot of fun even though it was only two combos. One thing I noticed in the first couple of early Cathe's is she did a lot more of what she calls "funky" moves and what I call "ain't got no rhythm" moves. Step Heat had a lot less of those funky moves and I am looking forward to seeing when those completely go away. :p DH got on the treadmill for about 55 minutes and did 10 jog/walk intervals. He wanted me to let you guys know he appreciates your support. He said it helps knowing he has a cheerleading squad behind him!

Eunice Great job on Athletic Training and TBT Upper Body! What a bummer about losing your post. That really stinks when that happens. We’ll see about Intensity next weekend. I think I have Imax on tap already so I don’t think I would want to tack on Intensity on top of that.

Janie Great job on disc 16! Heavy lifting is my favorite kind of lifting. Right now, Cathe’s earlier workouts are mostly cardio or muscle endurance but once I hit Maximum Intensity Strength and Pure Strength in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be rocking it out with you. Glad you enjoyed your rest day. I do think that rest day impacted your ability to lift heavier. DH was happy he worked out even for just the 35 minutes.

Pam Great job on S&G cardio and TBTUB! Everyone on here seems to be working their upper body so well and here I am doing just cardio for now. Oh well, it was my choice and I am enjoying it. DH was glad he walked once he was done. I told him that is something that will be very hard. It is ok to not work out because your body says no or you are burned out but if it is just no motivation, sometimes you just have to force yourself. Next Thursday would be out for me joining in on that particular brand of Intensity. I have Max. Intensity Cardio on tap for that day so I will be getting my butt handed to me by Cathe old school intensity!

Have a great day!

Rolly and I drove to Huff & Puff trail and speed walked for 40 min. Joey is at the beach house working while I'm at home calling in everyday for Jury. Such a waste of time for me. Oh well, I guess someone has to do it and it is our duty.:) Won't be able to do the Intensity with you all, this rotation that Cathe has made up for me is huge. Not to say that I might get more energy later on. Who knows.

Cheryl, and Eunice, how ya both doing?

This morning was the cardio only portion of S&G and TBTUB. Whew, it felt great. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Pam, Great job on this morning's cardio only portion of S&G and TBTUB. Whew is right! I am having such a wonderful day. I don't know why, just happy.

Julie, Great job on SH. Another oldie but goody for me. Yea for your DH. So proud of him! He is on his way isn't he? Yea!

Take care everyone,

Janie

Pam Right now photography is just a hobby. I asked him if he was going to do it when he retires but he wasn't sure. Our winter has been mild too but for tomorrow and Saturday they are calling for snow. I hope it doesn't amount to much. Good job on Leaner Legs. I think that is the one where she introduces low ends. Way to go on the cardio only of S&G and TBTUB.

Julie Good job on Step Max. That is one that I don't have. Good job for your DH too for getting on the treadmill even if he didn't want to. Cathe has changed her body shape since the beginning. She was very tiny back then with not much muscle definition. She did do some funky moves back then. I am not much into the funky moves either because I feel like I have two left feet.

Eunice Bummer on your post. I hate it when that happens and it is always when you have typed a lot. Good job on AT and TBTUB.

Janie Way to go on disc 16. I like the name Huff & Puff trail. It would have been a nice day to do it. Bummer about having to stick around for jury duty.

Today for me it was TBTUB. A few of us did that one. Also I have some news to share with you. I have been thinking about this for a long time and I finally decided to take the plunge and sign up to become a Personal Trainer!!!!! My neighbour who I did bootcamp with this summer took it through this company and he had nothing but good things to say about it. They only take a few students each month because you have your own personal teacher instead of being in a class with a lot of other people. I start on March 9th and I go every Friday for an hour and a half and if everything goes well I should be a certified personal trainer by August.

Happy Friday everyone.

Cheryl

JanieI Thought that the 8 was mean to be a "a" but are you talking about a rotation of 8 months? way to go Janie. Good job doing disc 16 chest/shoulders/triceps that's my favorite thing to do lift heavy. Good for doing the huff and puff trail, love it.

Pam oh, I hated it too, apparently there was a big crush that the system was down for 3000 people or something like that DH told me that, so when I finally got to click "submit replay" my time was out :mad:Yes the TBTUB was twice in the calendar this week and in a couple of weeks its going to be aging, its in the calendar. But even when I did it twice this week it wasn't any easier it did kicked my butt. Ok, I'm in for Intensity, so Janie and Julie won't be able to do it but what about Cheryl?? Good job doing S&G id this slide and glide? and the TBTUB total body trisets upper body? wow! that'a a good combo.

Julie Good job doing all those oldies I don't remember which one I do like if step moves or step heat or step power? anyways you are doing good. You are right Cathe was so diff before even her voice is diff, don't you think so? High five to your DH his doing awesome see, before it was hard to do 30 min on the treadmill now he can do 55 min and even when he doesn't feel like doing it at all still putting his game face on, good for him. Don't you worry Imax is a good one anyways. hehehehe!!!!

Cheryl Good job doing TBTUB isn't getting any easier, huh? I was underestimating week 4 of the rotation so far this week it has giving me a big pain on the butt, literarily sore butt, and core I think those planks kickbacks are paying very well. I saw your post on FB good for you for signing up to become a personal trainer that is awesome, it sounds like a good plan. How expensive is it? before coming to AU I wanted to do the same but it was to far away from us and I wouldn't be using it here, I would love to do it though.. Congratulations...:D:D:D

Well something happen to me this week because all this high reps endurance type of workout its giving me such a DOMS, I'm not complaining though but my butt was sore, big time I hope it make my butt small and round;) Loving the rotation I think the more I get to do the new dvd's the more I like them. Today for me was Step Challenge and I did it again! yayay!!! it was so easy just to pick something else to do but I wanted to see how good I did learned it and I did good. Love it!! Sweating buckets.
Well have a nice weekend today is Friday DH is going to a formal dinner for work and the girls want to go out side to play till late so it looks like I will have a very quiet evening! Not to bad.:D:D

Julie Great job on Step Heat. That is one that I have but I don't remember it at all I think I have only done it once time. I'm not big on the funky moves either, my body just doesn't move that way! Wow, your Dh did great too, 55 minutes on the treadmill is awesome! I felt like yesterday was the first I have worked my upper body in awhile. This rotation I'm doing is very lower body focused, so it was nice to have a good upper body day yesterday. I am feeling it today too, especially in my triceps! Oh Max intensity cardio is good an intense so you will be fine :D

Janie great job on the huff and puff trail, I love that name! Sounds like you did some huffing and puffing too :D That is a pain that you have to stay home just to call and see if you need to show up for jury duty! I served on a jury one time, it was pretty fun. Very interesting, but I wouldn't want to be on one for very long. My trial lasted 2 days.
Aww, I love to hear that you are just feeling happy, so nice! It makes me smile!

Cheryl Well your brother seems to have a knack for photography and I'm sure he'll have fun with it either as a hobby or a business. Oh ick snow. I just don't like it at all anymore! You're right, LL is where she introduces low ends and seems to enjoy them very much!
Well, here you, me and Eunice did TBTUB together too and didn't even realize it. WOW, that is so cool that you are going to do the personal trainer training! Congratulations, that is just so awesome!!

Eunice TBTUB kicked my butt yesterday too. My triceps are really hurting today. I don't get tricep DOMs very often, must be those plank kickbacks. Hmmm...I don't think Cheryl said if she is in for Intensity next week or not.......??? yes S&G is slide and glide. It was a good warm up for TBTUB.
It sounds like your butt was like my butt last week :p I agree that I am liking the new dvds more the more that I do them too. i wasn't really sure about some of them at first but they are growing on me. So glad that you are getting the step challenge down. That was my workout this morning too, so once again we were working out together :D i almost subbed in Athletic step but decided to hang in there and I was glad I did. I hope that you enjoy (or i guess now enjoyed!) your nice quiet evening.

So as I said, this morning for me was LISLIC.At first I couldn't get on the right foot on one side only for the 4th combo, but by the time we did all of the combos together I had it down. YAY! I've been wanting to try cross fit and they just offered one of those living social deals for 5 weeks of cross fit for $30 so I bought it. The place is just down the street from us and I am going to try to go tomorrow morning, although I haven't been able to get in touch with them yet to find out if I need to sign up or just show up or what. The phone number on their website doesn't work and they haven't responded to by email  They do have a scheduled posted on the web so I may just show up and hope that it works out. So happy it's Friday, have a great day everyone!

Pam

Last night was Step Jam! It was another fun one. I was doing the last combo and noticed DH standing in the workout room doorway watching me. He said “wow, you’re really good.” Of course, then that made me nervous and I started to mess up. DH took a rest night last night. We were having problems with our tub draining so he spent the night snaking the drain. I think I would have rather worked out but I guess it needed to be done. This morning, I woke up to snow!!! We only got like a quarter of an inch and will only accumulate a half inch but still. I guess I can’t complain since Chicago got about 7 inches!

Janie Great job on your power walk with Rolly! You must have had pretty good weather to be able to get out like that. I don’t think I would like having to call in every night for Jury duty either. I've never been called for jury duty and don't think I would be a good candidate for it. I am not comfortable with the idea of judging someone for a crime I didn't witness and then possibly deciding their fate for the future.

Cheryl Great job on TBTBU! I’m glad I am not the only one that feels like they have two left feet. I just don’t look funky when doing some of those moves. Wow! That is really cool that you are going to become a Personal Trainer. Do you plan on doing that on the side and then making it a full time career when you retire? That is really cool that you got in too with them only accepting so few students at one time. Congratulations and good luck! I can’t wait to hear all the things you learn.

Eunice Great job on Step Challenge! Yea for getting it again! Ooh, I love lower body DOMS. My lower body is the area that needs to most toning and fat loss and every time I get DOMS there I am so happy! I hadn’t really noticed Cathe’s voice but her look and style of stepping has definitely changed since the beginning days. I need to be taking notes on these older ones so I remember which step ones I like better than the others. Enjoy your nice quiet evening and let that sore bum relax too!

Pam Great job on LISLIC! Wow! Crossfit scares me. I just don’t think I could push myself that hard especially in front of other people. You are amazing though so I know you will rock it out. My body does not move funky either. In fact I look more like a chicken having a seizure than funky. Those are the times I wish I didn’t have a huge mirror in my workout room. I love triceps DOMS! I’m a little jealous because I haven’t had DOMS in a long time. But then Max Int Strength is on tap the end of next week so that should do it nicely though!

Have a great day! Happy Friday!

Did disc 17, legs. Ouch! But in a good way. LOL:D

Cheryl, Great job on TBTUB. A Personal Trainer!!!!!!! Congratulations. I think you will be perfect as a PT. Keep us posted on your progress. Yea!!!!!

Eunice, I asked Cathe for a rotation for me to look somewhat like a body builder and she gave me an 8 or 9 month rotation. She was so awesome to do that for me. Great job on SC, that one is a challenge to reckon with. But you did it twice? Lordy you have energy! Good for you! Enjoy your quit evening.

Pam, Great job on LISLIC. It does take a little while to get the hang of it and you mastered it! Yea! Congrats on purchasing Cross Fit. Sounds like a good deal. Keep us posted on it.

Julie, Great job on SJ. Love love that one. Work around the house does sometimes interfere with things. Snow? Jeesh, glad it's not here. Hopefully you will see the last of that until next Winter. The weather yesterday was 48 degrees and sunny. Perfect when bundled up. Jury Duty: I'm with you on this one, I don't want to judge at all! Usually these things just impose on a two week call in. ONly once did I go there and then be dismissed. It happens every single year. Bummer.

Take care everyone and have a great day.

Jane

Eunice With my schedule next week I could probably do Intensity on Saturday. What day were you guys thinking of doing it? TBTUB isn't getting easier that is for sure. Yep I finally took the plunge to become a PT. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time now and I figured there is no time like the present. The school that I am going with is expensive (it is a private training school) but for me I know that I will learn more which will make me a better PT. If you get ACE certified you can teach anywhere. That is the program that I am going with. Good job on Step Challenge and your DOMS. Enjoy your evening.

Pam My brother has taken some really good pictures. You never know he may turn it into a business one day. It did try to snow here today but it didn't stick it was just a really ugly weather day. Hopefully the PT will work out for me. Good job on LISLIC and getting the 4th combo. I still need to work on that one. I haven't done cross fit but I heard that it is really intense. Let me know how you like it.

Julie Good job on Step Jam. There always seems to be something that messes up the workouts. Hopefully you got your drain uncloged. Yuck snow. They said we would get snow too but thankfully it was only on the mountains. I am planning on doing the PT part time for now and then doing it full time when I retire. I figured since I am only three years away from retirement that I should start what my next career would be.

Janie Good job on disc 17. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Well this morning I was going to do slide and glide but when I was going downstairs I missed a step and tweaked my ankle . It feels much better now so I will be able to workout tomorrow morning. So we have been getting a whole lot of rain in the last several days and it has been really cold. So today when DH went out to the garage he discovered that we had a little visitor who decided to take up residence. Below is a picture of our visitor and now we need to figure out how to get him to leave. Any ideas?

Cheryl

Julie Great job on Step Jam, how cool that your DH was admiring you while you were doing your workout. Awwww, that shouldn't have made you nervous though! I hope you didn't get too much snow. It was 80 degrees here on Friday, we went out for lunch and sat outside, then last night a cold front came through and it was cold this morning. It said it was 50 when I went out, but it felt a lot colder because it is really windy. Crazy stuff!
Crossfit was really interesting. I think I will try do do it on Saturdays for awhile for a change of pace. :D:p I laughed when I read your description of looking like a chicken having a seizure!! I think I would definitely need to avoid the mirror during funky moves! It sounds like you have a tough week planned next week, both MIS and MIC?

Janie Great job on disc 17. Those STS legs discs are killers, are you failing the toilet test today? You get called for jury duty every year? Wow, that doesn't seem right at all!

Cheryl Hmmm, I could move things around and do intensity on Saturday, except I'm thinking I'll probably go back to Crossfit, so not sure I'm up for Crossfit and Intensity on the same day!
Oh no! Sorry to hear that you tweaked your ankle, but I'm glad to hear that it is feeling much better now. When I sprained my ankle the first thought in my head was oh no, how long is this going to take to heal! Oh my, I'm not sure what to do about your little visitor, do they sell traps so that you could catch him and take him and release him in the woods somewhere? We had a little visitor this week too, but ours was much smaller. I opened the cupboard under the sink and saw that the paper towels were all shredded. Uh oh! So I started looking around and saw little mouse turds in there  DH put a mouse trap under there and we have gotten 2 so far. ICK.

Well I was a little crazy this morning. I had Imax2 on the calendar and I was planning to go to Crossfit, but since it was my first day I wasn't sure I would get much of a workout so I went ahead and did Imax2 before I went. Crossfit was pretty interesting. It was basically outside....they are in this garage and had the garage doors wide open. The couple that owns the place seem to be really nice and are extremely fit! I was the only new person and they introduced me to everyone as they got there. They had cones set up in the parking lot and the warm up was run out around the cone and back, then do 10 push ups twice. Then we did pull ups and they had different strength bands to assist your pull ups. I tell you, I loved that band! You stand with one foot in it. For the actual workout, they just put some exercises on the board, tell you how many of each to do per round, and then set the timer for 20 minutes and you do as many rounds as you can. So even though it's a group, everyone is going at their own pace. Today's workout was 6 wall shots, 7 burpees, 10 kettlebell swings and then run 200 yards. For the wall shots, you hold this bit ball that weighs 8 pounds, stand close to the wall, squat down and then spring up and throw the ball up against the wall. It was tough but fun for a change. I was supposed to do 3-4 foundations classes before I went for a real class, but I can't do a foundations class til this week and they said it would be ok for me to come and join the class today. The people were all really nice and welcoming and everyone cheers each other on so it was a lot of fun. Then it was groceries, laundry and a nap! :D I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Pam

Did HIIT-P. Wow, I do like that one very much. Had to modify of course, but that's OK. Got through the whole thing.

Cheryl, Dog food/bird food in a place outside the garage. Then figure out how he got in there. LOL We use to have them and opossums around until the dogs got to them. I don't see them any more.:( So sorry to hear about your ankle. Ouch! Hope it feels better soon.

Pam, I've failed the toilet test.:D Yea! You are right, this jury stuff is not fair for this county. It is not right! Great job on IMAX2. I'm glad you got to do Crossfit, since you weren't sure how it was done to get in there. It sounds tough, but since you can do them at your own pace, they seem doable. And fun! Especially with a group of people who has the same interest. They have very creative ways to do exercises. Enjoy!

Take care everyone,

Janie

Pam How are those tris DOMS? My butt is so much better now, OMG yesterday I was in a very lazy mood and I didn't feel like doing AB no matter how much I'm starting to like the new dvd's yesterday I didn't feel like it:eek: So nice that we are almost doing the same videos every week, I'm liking the step challenge every time more and more. Good job doing Cross Fit DH is certified to Cross fit, he used to loved it a lot he still does but he doesn't do it that often, I have done it before in 29 Palms too, is nice and very tough kind of workout I liked it but not to do it every day. Good for you that you liked it I'm glad that there was a lot of nice people too.

JulieGood job doing Step Jam, so cute that you got nervous when your honey was watching you doing step probably you were looking sexy;) Do you like snow? maybe because we don't get it ever, we like the snow when we where in VA we had snow but I did liked it the only bad thing is the next day mess on the road. Probably Cathe's voice you can really notice on the first video.

Janie Good job doing disc 17 legs a good one. So nice of Cathe giving you the 8-9 month rotation you are going to have to share just to take a pick to see how she did put together a body builder rotation, I'm sure is a good one, enjoy! No, I didn't do Step Challenge twice in the same day, we have it every friday. Good job doing HIIT P that is a though one.

Cheryl For Intensity I think Friday, Saturday is fine I'm doing mine either day. I like your plan of becoming a PT I'm sure is a good school and you are going to be a good one also I think being a PT part time till you retired is a good idea your retirement is not to far from now 3 years are going to go by real fast. OMG your visiter has a cute face:D:D sorry I don't have any ideas of how to kicked him out of your garage but he looks so cute. Oh maybe he is photogenic;) I hope your ankle is much better now, stinks that right before getting your workout in you tweaked your ankle.

Pam I hate mouse my stomach hurt just to think about it, when I was pregnant of Stacy and DH was overseas of course is right when he wasn't home when I needed him to kill all those ugly stinky animals, I couldn't do anything but buy chunks of poison and put it out side of the house in the garage, everywhere then one morning I opened the car hood and there was one under the hood I screamed my head off run out side the garage and called the first person I saw to come and get it.whew! with all the poison he had eaten it was like a rock, stiff. yuck!! Good job doing Imax 2 and cross fit in the same day. I'm sure you enjoyed your nap very much!

Yesterday I felt so lazy just thinking about all the hard drill of After Burn it made me feel like NOOOOOOO I don't want to, so I went and did Athletic Step then when I was almost done I thought that the day before was SCH, cardio, so after I was done with it I went and did AB express single intervals 1-10 it was 32 min it was good.
Today I baked DH favorite cake "amaretti torta" I had a slice it was sooooo good.
Have a great weekend.:D:D:D

Pam Good job on cross fit. It almost sounds like a bootcamp type of workout. It is always nice to change the workouts every once in a while. Wow 80 degrees, must be nice. This morning there was snow coming down but luckly it didn't stick. I think crossfit and Intensity is too much for one day. I will probably do it on Saturday because it works out better for me. My ankle is doing much better, I didn't sprain it just came down on it wierd. A mouse in your house would be much worse. At least you are catching them.

Janie Yea you failed the toilet test. That is a good sign that you worked hard. So is your jury duty over now?

Eunice Good job on Athletic Step and the AB express single intervals. Your cake sounds so good. I made some protein bars and Jamie's turkey meatloaf balls, good but not as good as your cake.

So yesterday I did LISCSS and today was yoga. So an update on our furry little visitor. When I came home from grocery shopping yesterday I couldn't see him so I took a broom and used the end to bang on the area where we had seen him. There was no reaction so I though good he has left to find food. So I got DH and we got a ladder and I climbed up just to make sure. He wasn't there but I did feel some eyes on me so I looked behind me and there he was in another part of the garage just looking at me. So we decided that we needed to chase him out. I took the broom and started banging where he was and he started to move, and we managed to get him to leave from under the eaves. Since we then knew how he got in we boarded up all along there so he can't get back in. Then we had to clean up the mess that he made. We will see if he can figure out another way in. I felt bad because it was so cold and windy out yesterday but I hope he found another warm place to stay.

Did disc 18, back and biceps. Love the back off sets! For biceps used 15# dumbells in ea. hand and for back (30#'s) the same dumbells (didn't use the barbell). Except the one arm where you have your elbow on the knee for a base, I used 12#'s. There was no way I could do more. I used this weight (15# in ea. hand) for back also. Just happen to be that way. I can use my gloves next time to increase the weight when I feel ready.

Eunice, Great job on AS and AB express single intervals 1-10. Awesome! Hmmmm, the cake sounds soooooo good.

Cheryl, Great job on LISCSS and today's yoga. The raccoon will most likely miss his warm spot, but he will find another.;)

I still have to call in Jury stuff everyday until the 2nd. Darn!

Take care ladies,

Janie
