Strength in Numbers

Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretches. Found out how to cure/season cast iron pans. Finally! Yea! If interested here is a link. It really does work. I fried all kinds of eggs today. Yea!
Cast Iron Skillet - Season Skillet Myth - How to make non stick ...

Pam, We only brought one over because we still need to paint and stuff, its just that the motor home is so uncomfortable. We had to do something. We are bringing are camper which is comfy and one of us will stay there and the other will sleep in the beach house. At least until we can get one room ready. Great job on Cardio Supersets and weights from abs from LIS

Julie, Great job on KM, it's OK not doing the leg part.

Take care everyone,

Janie

Well today was yoga relax. My body needed that one today that is for sure.

Eunice Good for you in doing your 40 moves workout and disk 26 and 25. Oh yes my butt and legs were feeling it. I haven't had DOMS like that in a long time. Congratulations on Brandy getting accepted to the new school. I am sure you will figure out what to do about school when it gets closer to the time you come home. Why don't you try a total body workout. Total Body Trisets would be a good one.

Janie Your beds are great with the storage underneath. That is great when you don't have a lot of space.

Pam I think TBTLB is shorter. Oh boy more dixie cups, those really make you work your legs. I like your husband's joke about the dessert special at the restaurant. It sounds like your desserts are always a hit. You will have to tell me your secret. Good job on Cardio Supersets, I am going to try that one tomorrow.

Julie Good for you in getting out of bed and doing Kickmax. Oh yeah major inner thigh and glute DOMS. It has been a long time since I felt DOMS like that. Yoga would have been a better choice yesterday but I did get it in today and it felt good. Yoga is good to try to include in your rotation.

Well time for bed. Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

I've been busy and made some more bread. Added flax seed, wheat germ and oat bran. Sad tonight, Joey and I had a big fight.:( Oh well, it happens.

Cheryl, Great job on yoga today. Think I'll do that one tomorrow.

Have a good rest and sleep well.

Janie

Julie Great job on Kick Max. It sounds like it was a great way to workout some of the stiffness in your legs. I am having a really hard time getting up lately. I think it being dark and getting colder has something to do with that!
Hmmm...what would a day without pushups be? HEAVENLY! :D:p:eek: I love to hate em! That's so funny that you have to apologize to Cathe after you are done. Too cute!

JanieGreat job on TBS, abs and stretches with Joey and on getting those cast iron pans seasoned properly HOORAY! That is a big victory. Julie would be doing Rocky arms for sure ;) I'm glad to hear that you are able to sleep comfortably at the beach now. That is so important especially with all of the hard work that you are doing while you're there!

Cheryl Great job on yoga relax! I just love the name of that one. I don't know if I have a secret on the desserts. I always like to try something new, so it's usually a bit of a risk since I almost always make something I have never made before. The one thing I usually try to do though is get recipes online and look for the ones with a LOT of reviews and of course positive reviews, and then read through several of them to see if there are certain things that people changed or had trouble with. The layered peppermint cheesecake though had just come out in the new Southern Living and only had 1 review online so far, but it was a 5/5 star review so I decided to take a chance. And of course I'm not sure you can ever go wrong with flourless chocolage cake with raspberry sauce. I can't wait to hear what you think about CSS.

Janie Awwwwwwww {{{{Hugs}}}} Sorry to hear you were down and hopefully by now everything is good again. We all have those fights sometimes and they are no fun at all. Your bread looks amazing though, wow!

Eunice Where are you? Out being a hot, strong, 40 yo machine? :D

This morning for me was 4DS kickbox. It flew by as usual, except for those split leg crunches. Man, those just don't ever get any easier! I can't believe it's almost Friday again! Have a great day everyone!

Pam

Last night I donated blood so this morning I decided to take a rest mroning. It kind of felt nice to sleep in a little but also a little weird too. I will be doing back and triceps, disc 5 tonight. Bring on the pull ups! Just to whine a little bit, I took my laptop into Best Buy because it is still under warranty and it stopped recognizing the CD/DVD drive. Well, they were able to fix that under the warranty but they said they found 18 hot bar (?) infections on my computer that was significantly slowing it down and even messing with my features and files. I had noticed that some of my files were becoming hidden and I had to really search for them to find them and even sometimes that didn’t help. So now I have to pay $280 to get them off my laptop and I will be without my laptop for a few days. The silver lining is that the $280 covers 2 years of tech support in case anything like this happens again. Sometimes I hate technology!

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching with Joey! I’m so glad you figured out the cast iron curing. That is certainly deserving of Rocky arms! :p Thanks for the link! I’m going to have to look into this for my one cast iron pan. It is a grill pan and I haven’t used it as much as I wanted to because I didn't cure it right. Your bread looks delicious as always. So sorry about your fight with Joey. I hope you two have made up. {{{HUGS}}}

Cheryl Great job on Yoga Relax! How did you like it? Sad to say that I was really looking forward to the yogas and I have only done yoga max once and yoga relax not at all. What is wrong with me? I could have gotten up this morning and done yoga but instead I just laid in bed with Maggie.

Pam Great job on 4DS Kickbox! Oh I am so glad to hear you share my misery with the split leg crunches. I hate those almost worse than bike maneuver. Those split leg crunches are in Slide & Glide and that is the only part of S&G I don’t like. I am sure it being colder and dark out is probably the problem with not wanting to get up. I know I always have problems in the winter because of that. I’m with you in that I love to make new recipes I have never tried before. Unfortunately, most of my family is stuck in a rut and not very adventurous when it comes to eating. I can’t wait to be in those HEAVENLY days of no pushups but that will be a couple more weeks yet.

Have a great day!

Cheryl Good job doing yoga relax, see you are listening to your body.:p I guess DOMS got a good stretch.

Jenie OMG your bread looks so good! So sad that you and Mr Joey got in to a fight I hope not for to long.

PamSo winter is getting you?:( I like winter but for be just like a bear, sleeping, resting, cuddling, mmmm!! and summer I like it too but is so hot steamy, we haven't get to that yet! OHHHH YES!! I'm being a weirdo hahaha!! No, I don't know what happen yesterday I got distracted and I forgot. Oh I know I was on the phone with the internet company because the internet was sooooo slow so I called to see what was going on, the thing is that I had a plan for 100G and 2 weeks ago I changed to 50G well we past the 50 and that's way it was sooo slow, of course I did changed back at 200G with the home line I told DH I can afford having you mad at the computer because is so slow" but I'm here all good I'm still complete.:D Good job doing 4DS Kick boxing I love that one, I haven't done it in so long.. Yes Its Friday over here, every time I say that DH say, every day is Friday for you since I'm home all of the time.:D

Julie I'm glad that you took this morning off and got to sleep in, but, you just getting re-charge for tonights workout.. Good girl. Wow!! 280.00 to fix a computer and its going to be good for the next 2 years? I guess that is not to bad, better than having to buy a new one. I hate the bike maneuver as well but I think I'm getting better at them it burns soooo bad, but once you past that little hill you can handle it, at least that's what I tell my self.:p

JanieI don't know what happen with this post but I think I'm going backwards:confused: I'm glad you are getting new furniture for your house those new beds mmmmm nothing better than. We got beds with drawers for the girls bed they have some clothes in there not to bad, the only bad thing is that we got those at Ikea very cheap furniture we wonder if they are going to make it going back home:eek: Well for what I'm reading looks like you finally got the cast iron cured, yayay!!! I have to check that link too mine I used them washed them, dry them up, and put a layer of oil, then when I'n going to use them again I spray the cooking oil, I don't really know if that is how it supposed to be but that's what I do.

Pam Let me tell you that the coffee thingy that I did learn from you its paying back:D DH has bringing me coffee on bed too.... Awwwww I just don't want to get up when he does that (twice) Oh yes I will let you know how the lunch went is tomorrow I have the reservations and everything I hope its nice. I don't think the have one song for "La señora de las cinco decadas" but it would be a good one actually just change the number 40 and put the 50 in there it would go perfect for you too. I'm going to post a video clip about the song.;)

JulieI think you are right we NEED pushups if not the workout would be so boring!! Are you really say bad things to Cathie while doing the pushups? sooo funny and so cute that you apologize to Cathie, I'm sure she doesn't care that much!! I really, really, really want to eat cereal too but I haven't either:confused: remember when I was doing the trainer that's what I was craving? well I haven't get any yet, the morning of my 40s I wanted to have some but I didn't.

Well like I said before yesterday I got distracted trying to fix the slow internet thingy and I spent most of my morning on the phone....( So funny I just remember Sheldon saying I'm on hold just to complaint about the bad costumer service)..... I fixed so now all good. I did cardio it was so hot in the garage by the time I went there so I only did that I did Cathie oldie;) one Pam you know which one;) I pictured my self doing supersets and that's what I did, I remember doing that one before and die half way through now I can do the whole thin with out dyeing that is an awesome feeling before I couldn't finish the shoulder press today I did "take that" that's what I said. Before I couldn't finish the balance ball preach thingy for biceps, today, I did!!!! So it was good sweet, short, and sweaty, it felt short so I added one extra move for every body part and now I'm good and rubbery!!
Well have a great day... Its FRIDAYYYYYYY!:D

Janie Sorry that you and Joey had a fight {{{HUGS}}}. Hopefully things are better between the two of you now. The bread looks soooo good.

Pam I like your idea of looking for the recipes online. I always go to one of my cookbooks but your idea is better. I will keep the peppermint cheescake in mind just in case I have to do a dessert one day. You can't go wrong with anything chocolate :D. I liked CSS. I thought it would be totally cardio but it was nice to have the weight work in there to. I need to work on the mountain climbers though :(. Good job on 4DS Kickbox.

Julie You sometimes need that rest morning. Don't you ever wonder how you pick up those pesky little infections. $280 seems like a lot of money but if you spread it out over 2 years it doesn't seem too bad. I like Yoga Relax, it isn't hard but I found that it really helped my DOMS. I think that we don't do yoga enough because we think it has to be either cardio or weights. I think you have to enjoy doing yoga as well to make it into a habit.

Eunice Yes my DOMS got a good stretch. I feel much better today after stretching. Good job on your workout even though it was really hot.

Happy Friday everyone.

Cheryl

Julie Good for you for donating blood and then for taking the rest your body needed to catch up from it. I haven't donated blood in awhile because the last 2 times I did I had some problems, but I keep thinking tha ti need to do it again. It's such an easy way to do something good! Ha, how were those pullups last night? Wow, that seems really expensive for your computer! I haven't heard of a hot bar infection, I'll have to go look that one up. Do you run anti virus software?
Oh yea, split leg crunches are nasty! I would much rather do bicycles than those things. I don't actually mind the bike maneuver too much. Luckily my family (he immediate family at least) loves the cooking and baking experiments. They don't mind being Guiana (sp?) pigs at all. The only thing my step daughter doesn't like is that she sometimes really likes something but then I don't make it again. I had her start a list of things that she really likes so I'll know that we need to do it again!

Eunice Oh yea, winter is getting to me and we have only had a few days of cold weather so far. I love love love hot and sticky! I do like fires and hot chocolate and all that stuff, but I'd rather travel somewhere and visit that weather and then come home to warmth  You forgot about us :( ;) JK, I know how that can go sometimes. That is funny about your internet, glad to hear you got things sped up! I think I would like for every day to be Friday!! I love Friday!
Oh boy, I'm so glad to hear that hubby is paying you back with coffee in bed too, glad I could help ;):p I watched the video of La senora de las cinco decadas. The only word I understood was senora! That was so cute though how he went into the audience and sat with and sang to that woman. She was so excited. That would be really fun!
Great job on your Cathe Oldie and supersets! Sounds like you really kicked butt with supersets and even added on at the end, great job!

Cheryl I rarely use my cookbooks anymore. I have a few favorites that I go to every now and then but with all of the good online recipe sites it is just so much easier. The peppermint cheesecake recipe is on Southern Living online. I think it's just southernliving.com and it's called layered peppermint cheesecake. The cheesecake layers have to be frozen for something like 6 hours, so you just need to know that and start it at least the day before you need it. Glad you liked CSS, I think it's fun and it's good one because you can do the 40 minute version if you need to do a quick workout or add the step add on for a full hour. It seems like she added weight work into most of these new workouts.

This morning for me was the last of the 4DS workouts - bootcamp. I really love the cardio part of that one. The tricep and bicep work killed me but I got through it. I have a lot to get done at work today so I better get at it, but HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!

Pam

Last night I did disc 5, back and triceps! I feel like it was a really good workout that is until we got to the drop sets at the end. Those are a lot tougher than you think. I also eased up on the pull-ups. This time, instead of using the band which wasn’t assisting me at all, I used the chair method. I was able to do 6 before I called it quits. I woke up happy because it was Friday and decided to do a spin video set in HI. It was called Maui Rollers. It was ok. I got good and sweaty and it went by fast but it certainly isn’t a favorite. Well I was really hoping it would wait until Christmas before snowing. No such luck though. When I let Maggie outside, I saw we got an inch or so of snow. I know it could have been worse but it got me to thinking of what is yet to come and wishing I was in Hawaii like the video I just did. :(

Eunice Great job on Supersets! That one is so much fun and just flies by. That is so great that you are making such good progress on the workout too. Doesn’t it feel just great to come back to a workout you found overwhelming and be able to do so good with it. I’m glad you got your computer running fast again. Slow computers annoy me. I think resting yesterday helped. Not sure I will do that often but it was good especially after donating blood. Yeah, I was not happy about my laptop but at least it will get fixed and is supposed to be faster once I get it back. We’ll see. How much I hate bike maneuver depends on how tired I am from the first part of the workout. Sometimes I can do it and it is not bad and others I am cursing at Cathe again (don’t worry I apologize when I am done ). I’m so proud of you for sticking with your no bread/cereal pact. I certainly can’t do that. I don’t eat a lot of bread/cereal but I would say I have a piece of bread or a cup of cereal probably every day. Definitely couldn’t go very long without it and still be a happy camper!

Cheryl Great job on CSS! That one is fun and along the same lines of Afterburn but not quite as tough unless you add the step portion on which makes it longer. I hate mountain climbers but probably hate those stupid spiderman climbers in Afterburn more. I always feel like by back is concaving on those. I have found that if I use my yoga blocks (hey they get used for something just not yoga ;)) to place my hands on during the mountain and spiderman climbers that is lessens the strain on my back. That is what I tell myself with the $280, that it is like a warranty covering me for 2 more years. I figure I got 18 infections in the 2 years I had the computer so I am bound to get some more over the next 2 years. I agree with why I am not making yoga a priority. I keep reading some things on other forums and online that cutting back on cardio and focusing on strength training with added flexibility/yoga training is the best way to go. I think I am going to try that but first I need to wean myself off of being the cardio queen I was.

Pam Great job on 4DS Bootcamp! I love that cardio too. I feel like a little kid again running around like crazy on those suicides. And Cathe always cracks me up when she says “Ruuunnnnn!” with kind of a gruff voice. I’m pretty lucky in that the place where I work actually brings the Red Cross in 4 times a year and they let you donate on work time so it makes it easy and convenient. I try to give each time they come in. Luckily I have huge veins that pop out when I squeeze so I don’t have problems with them having to find the vein. Plus I bleed pretty quickly so I am not there forever. The pull-ups were easier but that is because I did them with a chair. I think next time I might try the tower just to mix things up. I’m not sure if “hot bar” is the right terminology. The guy said it over the phone so I may not have heard right. I’m going to ask them more when I go pick it up. I do have anti-virus software but the guy told me it is just like a flu shot. It can only protect you from what it knows exists. He also said that these infections can be picked up from almost anywhere, Facebook, Wal-mart.com, or an email from a friend even without an attachment. It isn’t malicious in that it isn’t trying to steal your identity but rather it just messes your settings up and slows your computer down. Well at least I get to live/eat vicariously through you and I can’t wait to hear what you make for Christmas. :p (I really wanted a smiley that was rubbing it's tummy and making "mmm" sounds to insert here!)

Have a great day! Let’s do the Friday dance!!!!:D:eek:

Where does the time fly? Did Cardio Supersets! OMG I needed something to use my muscles and cardio today. OMG! There are no other words except my heart was pounding and I was very sweaty. Joey went to the Beach House on Thursday to fix things I couldn't help with. He will be home today. Our fights only last 2 days. Thank you for all the hugs. We'll be OK. We both will go to the Beach House on Monday. I may (don't know for sure) stay until the following Monday to continue painting the rooms crochet, read and walk the beach.

Pam, Great job on 4DS Kickbox. Those split leg crunches are hard! Indeed. Proud of ya.;) I think I will bake bread this way from now on. I put flaxseed, oat bran & wheat germ in it. Next time will also put in some nuts or seeds, maybe both. YUM! I just learned how to do that without making the bread like bricks. Yea! No matter how old you get, you still learn a thing or two along the way.:D

Julie, It's always nice to be able to sleep in a little. Good for you. For under warranty, I feel you should have had it done for free. I'm so lucky that my Joey can do all that stuff. He's been dealing with computers most of his life and knows what to do when things like that happen. I'm so sorry this happens to people. They make their money don't they? Do you have virus protection on your computer?

Eunice, If your cast iron works then you are doing it right. Good for you.:) Sometimes it takes me awhile to understand, but I usually don't give up until I do. Great job on the cardio, so sorry it was hot outside. Doing Supersets without dieing is awesome also with balance ball preach thingy for biceps. You are doing so such a good job on your exercises. Rubbery is a good thing.;)

Cheryl, Thank you Cheryl. Are you having this wonderful weather today? Rolly and I will walk in it sometime today.

Pam, Great job on the last of the 4DS workouts boot camp. Try and have a good day at work even if it will be busy.

Julie, Great job on disc 5, back & triceps. Drop sets are very challenging for sure. Also great job on the spin video in HI called Maui Rollers. I love the though of spinning in that way. Joey is trying to get a really good deal on a spinning bike for me. Yea! Try to enjoy the snow if you can.

Enjoy the weekend to come,

Janie

JanieThat was a good way to use your muscles doing cardio supersets, It was good for your heart too.. I'm glad that you and Joey are better now I know I hate those days its pretty sad. Enjoy your week at the beach house its going to be hard work but you'll have time to go walk to the beach too. Do you have a bread maker? Your bread sounds delicious!

Pam The good thing about the weather is that next time you know it its going to be summer again, and I'm going to be freezing my bootie... I'm glad that you got to watch the video clip, I was looking and looking for one decent one to post and I thought that was cute too, the lady was on the zone, did you see that? so funny well let me tell you a little something about the song what he say is "To not worry about being 40 because now we have the experience and that is sexy;) also he say don't take years to our life trying to hide our age instead put life to our age meaning to enjoy our life because that is better, we are the perfect stage between experience and youth and other many, many things;) Really, really good. Today I got my butt kicked with my workout more then yesterday, I wanted to trow up:eek: Good job doing 4DS/bootcamp I know you really like that one its fun and the times goes by pretty fast.

Julie Good job doing disc 5 back/triceps I found so match easy to do the pull ups with the chair, Oh yes I love Fridays too. And today the spin video! Oh snow!!! I think we "think" we like because we don't have any but I know its a pain in a butt to drive on those days, then its all white and pretty then the next day its all yucky with sand and salt:eek: I hope you take it easy today and enjoy your evening cuddling with Maggi and you DH.:p Oh yeah I hate slow computers too.
Let me tell you that this past week I had being really bad, I had cake yesterday it was so darn good, I say NOT today:eek: will see.

Today I did BodyMax 2 I love the speed on that one, so funny because Rachel, Stacy and their little friend come to see me sweating and the just watched me like they cannot believe this person can do all that jumping:eek: then my girls tell the other kids "Oh yes my mom can lift that heavy bar and look at her she is seating but she won't stop" sooo funny!!!
Today it was supposed to be a nice day with DH's day we went out for our lucy at the winery place it was good I had a glass of wine and the food was good, I had Lamb with salad and goat cheese lime beans and potatoes it was soooo delicious I ate the whole thing that of course if was a small portion and I told DH ok now I'm fat and happy with the glass of wine merlot:p Don't you proud of me Pam because I have no taste for wine but that was good.
Then we stopped at the grocery store and here is the bad thing "we got followed by the police and we got a HUGE $ ticket for driving with the registration expired OMG:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: we pay in 2 min $1200.00 for all those things obviously NOT the best day for the birthday boy:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Good thing we have more wine;):p
Well have a great day!!!
There is a picture of DH and I, Rachel & Stacy, the cupcakes I did for Stacy's class room and Sam, my cute boy!!!!!

Pam I will need to go to that website and look at the peppermint cheescake recipe. CSS was fun. I tried out the step work portion of it this morning. I didn't preview it so I thought it was just a step workout......oh well I needed more upper body work anyway. Good job on 4DS Bootcamp. Sorry I am not with you on loving the cardio part of that one.

Julie Way to go on disc 5 back and triceps. Those drop sets are tough and catch up to you. Ewwww you have snow. I feel for you, we don't have snow yet but it is sure cold enough here. It has been around 28 - 30 degrees in the morning all week. I wish I was in Hawaii too, my brother is there right now for 3 weeks, I am jealous. CSS isn't as tough a Afterburn but you still do feel it. I like your idea for the yoga blocks. I should try it since I do feel it in my back too. I have heard that doing more strength training and yoga is better for you too. You still need the cardio just not as much. I think we have all been cardio queens at some point, I know I was but not so much now.

Janie CSS is a good workout isn't it. I just did that one on Thursday for the first time. Did you tack on the step portion at the end? Glad to hear that things are fine again between you and Joey. The weather here has been clear and cold. I have to admit even though it is really cold I prefer it over the rain.

Eunice Good job on BodyMax 2. Too funny about the girls watching you sweating and jumping around. Your lunch sounds really good. Wow that is one expensive ticket. Good thing you have more wine he may want some after that one. Loved the pictures, looks like you had a good time.

This morning it was TBTLB followed by the step portion of CSS. My bootie is feeling that workout right now. After that it was housework and laundry.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Cheryl

Lazy day today. Was really nice to catch up on chores, and messing around with the computer. Also computer games. ;)

Eunice, Great job on BM. Love your audience. LOL So cute. So sorry about the ticket. Bummer for sure. I absolutely love all your photos! I'm leaving for the beach house on Monday and will be back the next Monday. I can't wait! I make and knead my own bread and grow the culture to replace yeast from the stores.

Cheryl, Great job on TBTLB and the step portion of CSS. Wow! You go girl. And you mangaged housework on top of that? I'm impressed. I didn't do the step portion in CSS.:( Maybe next time.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday. I did do Muscle Endurance. So much fun and I am really liking this STS rotation with a full body workout on Saturdays. I'm in DOMS heaven. Yesterday after working out, DH and I went to pick up my laptop and run a few errands. By the time I got home, I was pooped and ready to relax and do laundry. Today we are just being ultra lazy and watching Pitbulls & Parolees that we DVRed.

Janie Great job on CSS! That is so much fun. I love it. So glad that you and Joey's fights don't last long. All couples fight but I think that a testament to your marriage is how you get past the fight. I do have antivirus protection but it is just like flu shots in that it can only protect you from what it knows. I wish DH or I knew more about computers since they can be expensive. The warranty only covered hardware issues and viruses/infections are software. Oh well. Enjoy your lazy day! Hope you get lots done at the Beach House.

Eunice Great job on Body Max 2! I love that one. The music, the step routine, the weight work. It is all so much fun! That is such a cute story about your girls. They seem to be so proud of you! Love the pictures. You guys are such a lovely family and love the four legged baby! That is a crazy amount to pay for an expired registration! I would be mad and be drinking that wine for sure.

Cheryl Great job on TBTLB and the step from CSS! That is a good sounding combo. Hope you you are passing the toilet test today after that! Yeah, snow is not something I love seeing but it is a fact of life here. We are hanging around 30 degrees right now too. Probably for the rest of the week. Guess it could be worse and be closer to below zero. Sometimes I do the mountain climbers without the blocks but have them close by in case I start to feel it in my lower back. I'm going to try to do a Stretch Max or maybe Yoga Relax today when DH is watching the football games. We'll see because I also wanted to get some of the presents wrapped and cards filled out. I'm not feeling the Christmas spirit so maybe that will help.

Have a great day!

Julie Great job on disc 5. Oh yea, those drop sets are tough! It sounds like you were smart to switch out pull up methods. I drag my tower out and do some form of modified pullups with that. That would be tough doing the Hawaii video and then going outside to snow :( ick. The Red Cross comes into our office on a regular basis too. My veins are easy for them to find, but my blood apparently doesn't flow as fast as they would like. One of the times they were twisting the needle around and messing with it trying to get it to flow faster. That HURT like heck and then it just stopped flowing completely. The other time I stood up to leave and almost fell over from being so light headed when I was done. They made me sit there for a long time drinking juice and eating cookies. After those experiences I haven't been anxious to do it again
That's the problem with computer viruses, there are always malicious people out there trying to dream up new ways to mess with your computer. I just don't understand what drives people to do that kind of thing.
I love the idea of a smiley rubbing it's tummy! :D I was doing the Friday dance with you, unfortunately now it's the Sunday dance which isn't quite as happy!

Janie Oh CSS is a good one, isn't it? Gives you a nice big sweat! Oh a week at the beach sounds wonderful! Enjoy and don't work the entire time you are there! Oh yes, nuts and seeds in the bread sounds yummy!

Eunice Oh I like the words to that song too, it's a really nice song. I thought he was cute too, he just needs to get rid of that facial hair :D;)
Great job on your butt kicking workout, glad to hear that you didn't throw up! That was exactly how I felt the first time I did 40/20.
I just love BM2, great job! That is so cute that your girls and their friend were watching you and so impressed. It's nice that your girls are so proud of you! It reminds me of how kids used to brag about how strong their dads were - yours get to brag about how strong their mom is too!
Your lunch sounds nice and a nice glass of wine too, good for you! I love lamb Yummmm...I need Julie's little guy rubbing his tummy here! I love the pictures too and I'm proud of you for getting a whole bottle of wine! ;):p
That is a huge bummer about your ticket! I was thinking about you yesterday when we went to get our Christmas tree and it reminded me that we hadn't put the new registration sticker on our truck. I mentioned it to DH and he said it wouldn't be a problem because we had renewed it, just forgot to put on the sticker. Then he said 'of course, I don't have my drivers license with me, so no registration and no license could be a problem.' Luckily we didn't get stopped though. I just can't believe how much that ticket was, that is crazy! Your pictures are so nice!

Cheryl Oh yea, the step part of CSS is a lot different than the rest of the workout. I was surprised the first time that I did that step bonus too because I hadn't previewed it. I was expecting more of a traditional step type workout. Don't worry, I'll forgive you for not being a big fan of the bootcamp cardio ;):D
Great job on TBTLB and the step portion of CSS. How did you like TBTLB?

Janie Glad to hear that you enjoyed your nice lazy day!

Julie I'm with you, I didn't get to post yesterday either. Great job on ME. Another toughie. I like your idea of a total body workout on Saturday while doing STS too. I might try that the next round too. What the heck is Pitbulls and Parolees??? It sounds interesting!

So let's see, first of all I have to tell you about the cool thing that we did Friday night. Our SPCA had an art show and the art was created by the animals. They put down non-toxic paints and the animals walk around in it and then you get these prints with different colored paw prints and a picture of the artist with a little bio. We got one that a kitten did for my niece for Christmas and my step daughter got a little puppy one. The kitten has paint paint right on the end of his nose in the picture, it's so cute! I fell in love with a beautiful white and gray persian that they had there too, but I had to resist the temptation of bringing him home since we already have enough! Yesterday morning I did Rhythmic step and then had to run to the tire store. We got new tires for one car and the other car had to have the tires balanced and we had an 8:15 am appt. Then DH and I went to Panera for breakfast and then to the Farmer's market to get a Christmas tree. It was quite an ordeal to put it up because it is huge and weighs a ton! We did get it up though and then decorated it last night. It is gorgeous. Today so far has been laundry and cooking. I have a pork butt on the smoker for pulled pork for dinner. I can't wait! I hope everyone has a great day!

Janie Lazy days are always good. The step portion of CSS isn't your typical step routine but I did like it. It was good to tack on after the TBTLB.

Julie Good job on Muscle Endurance. I haven't done that one in a long time. Pitbulls & Parolees I have never heard of it but it sounds interesting. I did pass the toilet test but my butt sure did feel it. I was glad for yoga this morning. They say it may snow for us here on Tuesday night :( I am hoping that if it does it goes away really fast. Did you get your stretching in today?

Pam I was expecting a more traditional step workout too. Looks like we both didn't preview it before we did it. I liked TBTLB, it was short but I think very effective. I am feeling it today though. I like what your SPCA has done. So cute about the kitten and the paint on the end of his nose. It is so tempting to bring home another one isn't it. Tonight on the news they were asking for volunteers to help train service puppies. If I did that they would never get the dog back, it would be too upsetting for me even though I knew they would be going to a good home and helping people who need them.

Today was yoga for me at Lululemon. It felt good since my butt was feeling it after Saturday's workout.

Well here we go again, Monday is upon us once again.

Cheryl

JanieNice job, having a lazy day its always refreshing, it give us the energy for the next day! Have fun at the beach house, mmmm delicious bread:D

Julie Good job doing Muscle Endurance, how were the DOMS doing today?:p I kind of got the idea from you about doing one whole bode WO on the weekend, but you are doing cardio in the morning and weights in the afternoon, I don't think I can handle that:confused: good for you though! Nice job to for having a lazy day! Thanks for the complements, so far so good raising my family:D Oh boy:mad: that ticket was crazy, doesn't? Now I can't spent money they took it all.

PamHahahaha now that's funny, I know he needs to shave:eek: OMG I think that all depends on how I ate the day before and the day before we had the chocolate cake:eek: it was good and the smell was good too, I'd never smell a cake from far away, so I think that's why I was having trouble working out I don't know if it is true, but for me always does.
Yeah Rachel said that her friend love to watch me working out, so funny! Yes we did got 2 bottles and finished the red one in two days, I had being bad this past weekend, I was kind of mad because I cannot see any more improvements in my body just, plain same old, so I thought to my self "go ahead"
Oh DH still mad about it, so glad you guys didn't get pull over, I don't think it would be that expensive in US here everything its double.
Thanks for you comment on my pictures :D What you did on Friday sounds fun and cute, I'm glad you resisted your temptation though:p What a busy weekend you had, are you taking days off? DH is having from next Mondays till February I think or maybe not, that's going to be interesting  kids home, DH home OMG!! Can I go somewhere? Lol Good job doing RS and that diner sounds yummy! Enjoy.

Cheryl Good job doing TBTLB and the step portion of CSS wow that was a good, big workout, also doing house work and laundry that in there was another workout! I'm glad we had the wine:D Good job for doing yoga! do you buy clothes at that store? I did checked online and its very price.

Today I had no energy I don't know why? I spoke over the phone with my mom for over 2 hours:confused: then I finally did workout, I had to dragged my self that's weird for me, I did disc 30 biceps/triceps/shoulders then just wonder around the house:confused: NOT really doing anything then it was time to cook diner OMG I don't know I think I forgot to take my vitamins I hope tomorrow its a better day.
Have a great Monday for me its bed time see ya!!!

Cheryl Yes, i'm not too good about previewing workouts. I usually just pop them in and do them so I tend to get surprises sometimes (like needing dixie cups for some of the new workouts!) oh yea, that TBTLB wo is very effective!!! Wow, I think that would be so cool to train service puppies. Our next door neighbors just got a little black lab puppy and he is soooo cute! I love them when they are little with those great big paws and so clumsy. It is very hard not to bring them all home.
Great job on yoga. It sounds like it was just what your butt needed :D

Eunice Oh I think it would be verrry hard to workout if you could smell a chocolate cake! I'm glad you enjoyed that nice red wine! Remember that red wine is good for you in so many ways. Look at those French people, they drink wine every day and aren't fat!
I think you are being too hard on yourself, you always think there are no changes because you see yourself every day so it's hard to notice a difference. I understand how you feel though, I get those times too where I wonder why I even bother. Then I'll pig out and feel so bad afterwards. ick. You look great! Remember when you posted your Before picture for the FB challenge and everyone was saying that was what they wanted their After pictures to look like?! Wow, your husband will be off for a long time!!! I am done at noon this Friday for the rest of the year!!! It's going to be a really busy week though because I have a lot of stuff that I need to get done before I can take off.
Great job doing disc 30 despite having no energy. We just have days like that sometimes. My issue this morning was balance! I was really having balance problems during my workout. I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.
This morning for me was disc 26 plyo legs. Love those plyo leg workouts but hate those 180 degree jumps. I was having trouble balancing when I was doing those! WTH, that has never happened before. Oh well. OMG, our rotten cats have discovered the Christmas tree. They are playing with the ornaments and charging around underneath it. Luckily they don't seem to want to try and climb it! Anyway, have a great Monday everyone!

Pam

Yesterday, I did Yoga Relax. I really enjoyed it and it made me realize just how inflexible I am. I must have been smiling pretty big though because afterwards DH said “Wow you must have had a really good workout, you look so happy.” I told him yes and he needs to make sure that I start doing that every Sunday instead of being totally lazy. We’ll see if he remembers next week. I don’t know why but I got horrible sleep last night. Actually, I know why. I kept having dreams about Cathe and the 182 pushups I have to do tonight with disc 7. No I am not kidding. I was having those dreams and waking up nervous. Despite how tired I was this morning, I did manage to get up and do some steady state spinning for 45 minutes and 7 minutes of Ab Hits. Now I get to think about 182 pushups all day while I am at work.

Pam Great job on RS! Always a fun classic! Oh that art show sounds so cool. I have seen that done once on an animal planet show I think. It looked cool but I am not sure Maggie would walk around. She is more of a lay there and look pretty kind of girl. I saw the photo of your tree on FB. So pretty. Yuck, your experiences at giving blood doesn’t sound pleasant. Well, maybe the cookie part does but almost falling over doesn’t. I had a friend who bleeds slowly and after 20 minutes had still not filled a bag. They took the needle out, thanked her for her donation but told her since the bag wasn’t full they wouldn’t be able to use it. I don’t think she has been back to donate since. Pitbulls & Parolees is about the country’s largest pit bull rescue facility in CA, called Villalobos. They rescue and rehabilitate pit bulls and only hire parolees to do the work. It’s kind of nice to see the parolees get jobs since most places won’t hire them and the stories about the dogs are sad but also heart warming. Great job on Plyo Legs and the 180 degree turns! That is weird about the balancing issues. I have those problems with the 1-legged squat thrusts but have never had them in the 180 degree turns.

Cheryl Great job on yoga! Did you see I did Yoga Relax on Sunday? I was quite proud of myself and I thought I can’t wait to tell Cheryl that I actually did it. Of course, that is only once. Now I have to try to do it several weeks in a row so I get in the habit of it. Pitbulls & Parolees is a show about Villalobos Rescue Center in California. It is the country’s largest pit bull rescue facility. The lady that runs it hires parolees to help take care of the dogs. It’s kind of fun to see these big, bad prison guys get so emotionally involved in rescuing and taking care of dogs. Although it can also be very sad to see some of the dogs that need helped too.

Eunice Great job for doing disc 30 even though you had to drag yourself to do it. Sometimes that happens. I’m sure you will be back to normal soon. Yes, my DOMS were screaming at me yesterday. My biceps, triceps, and shoulders were extremely sore and I had DOMS in just my right calf and right hamstring. I hope that doesn’t mean I forgot to work my left leg? I have never had DOMS like that before so that was kind of weird. I am enjoying the full body workout at the end of the week and am doing cardio in the mornings on the two days a week that I do the upper body STS workouts. I’m going to switch out one of the cardios though for yoga starting in January. It is kind of tiring to do this but I don’t feel strong enough to do upper body STS in the morning and I don’t want to mess up my schedule by sleeping in two days a week. Although that does sound nice!

Have a great day!
