Julie Oh man, you are not kidding that you are having the winter from h@#@ll! I hope that spring comes in more than just a date on the calendar! Of course it happened that the day before I go home I slept until the alarm went off for the first time :confused:

Cheryl Sorry about your 2 am wakeup. Yesterday seemed to be a no workout day for most of us, I didn't workout yesterday either.

Julie Great job on GG Oh no! I can't believe you made the same mistake again with your barbell! That is too funny!

So Tuesday night was the big conference show. It was Fall Out boy and Elvis Costello. The food was a bunch of junk and something I had did not agree with me at all. I was awake most of the night with terrible heart burn. That combined with not getting to bed until 1 am resulted in no workout for me yesterday morning. As I was telling Julie, last night I slept until my alarm went off for the first time this week. Then I did CCC when I got up. I am so ready to go home!!! I have had a much better time this year than I did last year at least. The conference was a lot busier which made the days go by a lot faster. Today we have an all day training session and tomorrow morning I head home. I have to be at the airport by 6, so I won't be doing a workout tomorrow either.

This morning was Bootcamp. I had so much fun doing it a couple weeks ago I decided to do it again. We are bracing ourselves for another snow storm this weekend. I have heard anywhere from 4-8” or 10-12”. I am hoping for 0-0”.

Was with my daughter and grandson the last couple of days. Grandson had wisdom teeth pulled and my daughter had an interview to go to. He made it through very well. Tonight I'll do my exercises and post again. It was so cute, this 17 year old heard the doctor tell him some things that could, but not likely to happen and one of the things he remembers (while he was medicated up) was a numbness in his lower lips forever. He says he is a really good kisser and if he lost the feeling of his lips he would have to figure out another way to kiss and impress. LOL Wonder if I should mention this to him one day? So funny :D!

Julie, Good to take rest days. Sorry about the continued snow storm from hell. I can't even imagine. Stay safe and warm. 3 weeks away for Spring. I'm so ready and bet you are too. It truly is nice that Cathy has all these choices for exercising. It saves me for sure.

Julie, Great job on Get Glutes. Wow, loading up the bar as you do is impressive though. Be safe, Spring is just around the corner.

Julie Good work on Bootcamp. I saw the heritage classic game last night between Chicago and Pittsburg. You guys got a lot of snow sorry it wasn't the 0-0 that you were hoping for. They had a hard time keeping the ice clear of snow.

Janie I am glad that you had a nice visit with your daughter and grandson. Too funny about what your grandson said about his kissing. I think you should mention it to him one day LOL. I hope you enjoyed your rest day.

We are not having the Winter from hell here but I am having a hard time with getting my energy levels up. So Wednesday I took as my day off but I was so tired both Thursday and Friday that I didn't do any workouts on those days either. Saturday I did Lean Legs and Abs and added on the barre workout and today I did XTrain Chest, back and shoulders. Yesterday we went to my parents for dinner. They are leaving next weekend for Arizona for three weeks. Today I watched our Heritage Classic Hockey game between our Canucks and Ottawa. The Canucks lost again :mad:. This season is a bust for us. I don't think they will even make it to the playoffs.

Julie Great job on Bootcamp. That was my go-to favorite for quite awhile after it came out. I almost did it this morning after reading your post, but went with Athletic Training instead. I didn't watch the news all weekend, but I hope you got your 0-0"! Enough already with this cold and snow!!!

Janie That is so funny about your grandsons comment. Definitely one to resurrect at some point when he isn't expecting it!!

Cheryl I'm glad you aren't having the winter from hell there, but sorry to that your motivations levels are low. Hopefully spring will help with that. Great job on LLA + the barre workout and XTrain Chest, back and shoulders! One of my friends who was at the conference is from Vancouver and he is a big hockey fan. He was very excited because they won a game last week and was hoping it would be the start of a streak. I guess not :( There is always next year, right?

I decided to take Saturday off from working out too and just had a lazy morning. We made omelets and hashbrowns for breakfast and then I spent the rest of the day doing laundry and running and around. Yesterday morning I did To The Max and this morning I did Athletic Training. I hadn't done that one in ages, and I forgot that the beginning section is almost the same as TTM. Yesterday it was 68 degrees here and today they are saying we are supposed to get sleet and freezing rain. :rolleyes::confused: What the heck is going on? Then 17 degrees tomorrow morning. HUH?! Wacky wacky weather. I'm with Julie, come on spring!! Happy Monday!

Saturday I did Supercuts and then did some chores and went to a baby shower. We ended up only getting about 3 inches over Saturday night. Sunday I did Get Glutes and then was lazy the rest of the day. This morning I had all intentions of getting up and working out. I couldn’t do it. Can’t seem to break out of this Monday morning funk. I would love a good excuse but the best I can come up with is that it was -9 this morning.

Janie That is too funny about your grandson. He will probably be embarrassed when you tell him but maybe he will get a laugh out of it too.

Cheryl I think Chicago got way more snow than we did. Not complaining though. Great job on LLA & XT CSB! Hope your parents have a fantastic time in Arizona (wish I could go with them since it is warm there)! Sixteen days to the first day of Spring. I am really hoping this weather turns around. I am having trouble getting motivated and wanting to do anything other than sleep.

Pam I love your lazy morning. DH and I eat omelets and hash browns every Sunday for breakfast. Great job on TTM and AT! This winter has been terrible. It is March for goodness sake. We should not be in frigid temps.

Pam Yep winning one game is not a streak. You are right there is always next year. Omelets and hash browns seems like a great way to spend a lazy morning. Great work on TTM and Athletic Training. Wow that is wacky weather. I think we all are looking forward to Spring.

Julie Great work on Supercuts. 3 inches of snow isn't too bad. Monday mornings always seem to be the worst for some reason.

So yesterday and today I have been suffering from red and puffy eyelids again. This is the same thing that I had when I thought I had a reaction to the antibiotics that I was on. So after work I went to my doctor and she thinks it is a allergic reaction to something. So I am on benadryl and reactine to help alleviate some of the symptoms. She is also going to refer my to a allergy specialist to see if they can figure out what it is that I am allergic to. Such fun. So no workout for me today either. I was too tired to do it this morning and I got home too late to do it tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.

Tonight was STS Step Moves. The last 10 min. were like fast steps. I tried and kept going the 44 min.

Cheryl, Great job on Sat Lean Lega and Abs and added Barre workout. And for today's XTrain chest, back and shoulders. Awww, I do hope your parents have a wonderful time in Arizona.

Pam, Good for taking a lazy day off. Hmmmm your breakfast sounds soooooo good. Good job on cleanmax and errands. Also for doing To The Max and this morning for Athletc Training. Can't believe how awful the weather still is where you live. It can't last too much longer. Hang in there.

Julie, Great job on Sat. Supercuts and then some choremax. Aw, Baby shower sounds like fun. Also for doing Sunday's Get Glutes. Just think of Mondays then, as rest days. We all get into a funk sometimes. You'll get out of it soon.

Cheryl, Aw, I'm so sorry you have to go on meds to control allergy symptoms. Hope the doctors figure out what is causing it. Take care, hugs.

julie Great job on supercuts, chore max and GG. I guess 3 inches of snow isn't too bad, but enough already! IDK, I think -9 is a pretty good excuse for not being motivated to get out of a nice warm bed to workout!

Cheryl Our weather has been totally wacky. It's hard to complain too much because we haven't had the frigid temps and tons of snow that the midwest has been having, but it's still been nuts. Our schools are closed again today. I'm not sure what they are going to do as far as making it up this time. The last time they decided to 'forgive' two of the days...not sure how that works. I wonder what you are allergic to?! That must be very annoying and frustrating. I hope that they are able to figure it out.

Janie We were on the same workout page - I did Step Moves this morning and I haven't done that one in ages. Great job for hanging in there. I found I really had to concentrate to try to remember the combos.

So as I told Janie, this morning I did Step Moves. I had been planning on doing Drill Max, but I just did not want to get out of bed and hit the snooze several times. When I finally got up I had to do a shorter workout. I hadn't done that one in ages and didn't remember it very well, but it was the perfect level and length for me this morning. We didn't get anything like they said last night weather wise - a little bit of freezing drizzle and even snow for a short time. It got down to 15 degrees overnight though so there were tons of accidents this morning and the schools are closed since it isn't going to be above freezing until this afternoon. They are saying spring like weather again this weekend though, so I'm looking forward to that. Have a great day!

This morning I did Get Glutes. I just started month 6 on Sunday and so far the first two workouts have been crazy easy. I know I should watch what I say because the second two workouts will probably kick me until I can’t get up.

Cheryl Oh no! I hope they figure out what your allergic to soon. That does not sound like fun. I also hope we find our groove and energy again. I am so tired of feeling tired and yucky.

Janie Great job on Step Moves! That’s awesome you went the whole time! Cathe does know how to sneak in those torchers at the end.

Pam Great job on Step Moves! I hope you get the Spring like weather this weekend. That would be nice. We have been hammered this year and in fact set a new record for snow accumulation at 53”. Just 6.5” shorter than me.

Kinda feeling I might get sick, but did my all on the workout anyways. Intensity Series: Premix HiiT Low Bootcamp. This was so good for me!It's the type of workout you can give it your all or not. Of course I gave it my all.

Pam, Great job on Step Moves. Love it when we can share exercise experiences. LOL So glad the weather was not what they said.

Julie, Great job on Get Glutes. Congrats for getting stronger!

Julie Great job on GG...Hmmm crazy easy huh? maybe you are just getting crazy strong?! In my opinion, 53 inches of snow is about 53 inches too much!!

Janie I sure hope you don't get sick. Great job on the Intensity premix! I have no doubt at all that you gave it your all!

Once again I had a really hard time getting up and kept hitting the snooze. I was very very close to just staying in bed, but finally got up but had to do a shorter workout again. I did SuperCuts, which was a good one for today. Until getting the su/pu combo that is! I started strong on that but ran out of juice by the 4th set and started slowing down. I was finishing the last set of sit ups when they were finishing the last set of pushups, but I made it through. I think I must still be readjusting to the time. Of course this weekend we change our clocks, and then next week I go to Australia! I'm going to be all screwed up :rolleyes: have a great day!

This morning I almost slept in but before I could think twice about it I got up and started getting ready for a workout. I did Rockout Knockout this morning. I’m kind of iffy on this one. I normally like kickboxing workouts but this one just has some awkward moves and transitions. Maybe if I did it more it wouldn’t feel so awkward. It was a nice little calorie burner.

Janie Great job on Intensity premix! I hope you are not coming down with something. Maybe the workout helped kick your immunity up so you will fight it off before you ever feel anything.

Pam Great job on getting up and getting Supercuts in! I really like that one and find it flies by. Oh man, you are going to be all screwed up with all the time changing. How exciting to be going to Australia. I hope it is warmer there than here.

Julie Great job on Rockout Knockout. It took me a couple of times to start liking it. Now it is one that I enjoy doing.

So I haven't done anything for the past several days. I have taken Benadryl the past couple of nights so it does me in for a morning workout and I have been really tired when I have gotten home from work. I will try again tomorrow.

Pam, Good for you getting out of your warm cocoon and doing SuperCuts. Time a travel I have to agree does take its toll. You did good.

Julie, Great job getting out of bed with no hesitation and doing Rockout Knockout.

Julie Great job getting up and doing RK. I didn't like that one very much when I first did it, but I like it more now. I really like the cardio parts, but I still don't really like the punching and kicking combos at the end. It is a good calorie burner though.

Cheryl I think I am finally over my morning issues. This morning I was able to get up at my normal time. Of course there is ALWAYS that urge to stay in bed longer, but it was just the normal urge today :p Yes, Australia is for work. We are having a hard time getting logistics worked out though so it looks like the date might move by a week, but I would be happy about that to have another week at home. Yep, Benadryl sure doesn't make you want to get out of bed. I find I'm groggy all day when I take it too. Do you have an appt with the allergist to try to figure out what is going on?

As I was telling Cheryl, I was able to get up at the normal time this morning so finally did that Drill Max that I have been wanting to do all week. I just love this workout! It kicked my butt, but it felt great!! Have a great day!

This morning I did Get Glutes. Again, this time it did not feel like much. I think I will have to add on to it or increase my weights a lot.

Cheryl Benadryl knocks me out and makes me so foggy. I am sorry you have to take it.

Janie Oh no! So sorry you ended up getting sick. Get plenty of rest and fluids. I hope it doesn’t stick around for long.

Pam Great job on Drill Max! I really like that one too. So fun with lots of variety and the time flies for it being a long workout. I probably should do Rockout Knockout more before I give it a final decision on whether I like it. I did like the cardio portions more than the kicking punching combos. That is what I remember having awkward parts.

Pam, Great job on Drill Max. It is a fun workout. I think when I'm feeling better I will need to put this in my rotation.

Julie, Great job on Get Glutes. Sounds like your body is very use to doing the workout. Increasing the weight will confuse your body. Isn't it nice to see yourself improving. Good for you!

Julie Great job on GG, you definitely must be getting stronger! I agree that the RK combos have awkward parts. They also seem to really bring my heartrate down. I like the KPC combos a lot better.

Janie I hope you are getting rested up and starting to feel better!

Cheryl I hope you are feeling better too. Glad it's Friday!

This morning when the alarm went off I was so upset because I was thinking it was Saturday :confused::( I got up plenty early though so I did a llong workout. I did the step and circuits from Body Max and the Upper Body from Body Max 2. I like that upper body work better than the original BM, probably because it is easier :rolleyes: So happy it's Friday, have a great weekend!
