Strength in Numbers

Tonight was Burn Sets (Upper Body). It was over 70 min. long and the time flew by. I needed this workout so badly.

Pam, Great job on this mornings XTrain bis and tris. I know, Low Impact Hiit is a challenge workout for sure.

This morning for me was XTrain cardio leg blast. This felt tough for me today but I love that there are no dread factor moves. Julie and Cheryl you must be busy, hope you are doing well.

I had my post all written up in Word and ran out of time to post it before I left work. Anyway, I did do my Get Glutes workout yesterday and added in additional back work. This morning I did Cycle Max scrambled premix. I love doing Cycle Max that way to get the hover jumps done with. Don’t know why but I just don’t like them.

Janie Great job on your fast walk with Rolly on the beach for an hour and half PLUS AOLIH! The premix you did was practically the whole workout. You are definitely hitting it hard lately. Great job on Burn Sets Upper body for 70 min!

Pam Great job on XTrain Bis/Tris! The non-burn sets in Xtrain are fun with how they alternate between body parts. I ordered some Thera Band bands so they won’t match Cathe’s colors either. Not sure how good they will be and I won’t get them until next week I think. Great job on CLB! I have to say I prefer CLB to plyo legs. There is no dread with CLB but with plyo legs, there are those darn half turn jumps.

It has been a busy few days. I think I did Rockout Knockout on Sunday (memory isn't too good there :D) Monday was Great Glutes and then I tacked on the X10 Low Impact workout. Wow my butt is sore. I was going to post on Monday but the day got away from me. Tuesday I did a premix of Rocking Step #1. It is going to take me a while to get the step moves down for that one. Today was my day off.

The last couple of days Joey and I have been putting up the 2nd shed to store Winter things. Tomorrow we should be done. It was a lot of hard work. Tonight was Too The Max, of course you mustn't forget I use a lot of modifications or I wouldn't have been able to get through it all.

Pam, I only got through Burn sets because I used exactly half the weight Cathe used. Soon I'll add weight to this but I don't feel ready yet. Great job on XTrain cardio leg blast. Job well done.

Julie, Great job on Great Glutes workout yesterday and the addition of back work. Also for t his mornings Cycle Max scrambled premix. Hover jumps are really challenging to me. Good for you. Remember I modify greatly in order to get through what I'm doing. Soon I'll move forward and not modify so much. Just want to build a great foundation first. You know, get those small muscles built up first, especially the arm muscles.

Julie Great job on your GG, back work and Cycle Max scrambled premix! I kind've like those hover jumps, I guess I'm weird! You will have to let us know how you like the bands. I was reminded again this morning that I need to get some new firewalker bands when I was doing the firewalker tabata in Crossfire :confused: I'm with you on the half turn jumps. UGH.

CherylGreat job on Rockout Knockout, GG, X10 LI and PRS 1. That one is definitely going to take a few practice rounds. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Janie Oh boy, putting up a shed sounds like quite the workout. Man o man, I can't believe you did that and TTM! Wow, great job, even if you did modify!! That is awesome.

This morning for me was Crossfire. I was a little worried about it because I was really tired, but it didn't seem as bad as I remembered it being, maybe thanks to tabatacise and X10....This week is really dragging by, I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday! Have a great day.

This morning I did Kick, Punch, Crunch and actually did the core work at the end. Go me!!! I usually skip it. My upper abs were on fire just from the first crunch segment. I guess that means I shouldn’t skip the core work anymore. I was falling behind Cathe and crew during the knee pull-ins and pikes. Yeah, I definitely need to do more ab work.

Cheryl Great job on keeping up with your workouts while being so busy! I haven’t tried the step workouts yet. I like doing step I just don’t like the learning process.

Janie Great job on ShedMax and To the Max! Hey modifications are great. You can do what you have to do to keep moving. I modify frequently by pausing to take extra rest or going low impact. I for the life of me cannot do the spiderman climbers in Afterburn and often end up just doing regular mountain climbers. We do what we gotta do.

Pam Great job on Crossfire! That’s awesome it was not bad considering the half turn jumps are in there 3 TIMES!!! Hope you get your energy back today.

Janie Good work on Too the Max. Don't worry that you modified you still did it and that is what is important. It will be nice to get your shed finished. At least you have had great weather to get it done.

Good job on Crossfire and with being tired too. I agree that the week has been dragging and I even had Monday off.

Julie Good job on KPC and doing the core work at the end. Those knee pull-ins and pikes are hard. The second step workout was fairly easy to learn the first one is going to take some practice.

I am sooooo tired today. I am looking so forward to going to bed tonight. So no workout for me. It was a long day and the weather is really nice the bummer is that it is foggy most of the day. So I went for a walk at lunch today and went into a book store to look around for a bit. When I was leaving there was four police officers coming into the store and one of them had a rifle :confused:. I didn't see anything happening when I was in there so I have no idea what they were doing there and I wasn't going to stick around to find out.

Finished with the shed, now onto better things. Tonight was HS. Wow, I did it, of course modified. Also Rolly and I walked fast on the beach this afternoon for about 45 min.

Pam, Great job on Crossfire. Try to get some rest somewhere, seems your body is telling you that.

Julie, It was a ShedMax kind of few days. You are So humorous. :DLOL Great job on this mornings KP&C. My hard exercises are legs. Whew!

Cheryl, OMG! So glad whatever happened at the book store that you are OK. Wow! Did you read anywhere about it afterwords? Try and get some rest and do the exercises when you can.

Julie Great job on KPC including the core work! I really like the core work in that one because she makes us do pikes, but they don't go on forever like they do in PUB. I think the 1/2 turn jumps in CF are not quite as bad as in plyo legs because you don't do as many, even though you do them 3 times. That's my story anyway!

Cheryl You are supposed to eat too much for Thanksgiving so don't worry about that. I have my weekend countdown on, almost halfway through Friday now :p That is quite the interesting experience at the bookstore - I can't believe you didn't go back in to find out what the fuss was though :rolleyes:;)

This morning for me was PRS #2. I did a little better this time but still don't like combo 5. It seems like the intensity level of that combo is a lot lower than the others, at least the first half of it. She probably did that on purpose for a little break, but I just don't like it. Her cuing isn't the best in parts of this one either, but I'm getting there. Then I did the core work from Crossfire since I didn't have time for it yesterday. I feel like I could take a nap right now, but we have a packed weekend ahead so maybe I better drink some caffeine! A wedding reception tonight, friends over for dinner tomorrow night and a Segway tour on Sunday. It should be fun though. Happy Friday everyone!

Today I took off from work so I had extra time this morning. I did my Get Glutes workout 3x10 then I did To the Max with extra breaks between segments—come on Cathe a girl needs to breathe! I forgot how much I like that core section. May be the only core that I really like. Getting ready to be lazy with DH today.

Cheryl I hope you get rested up tonight. I hate those days when as soon as I get out of bed, all I can think about is getting the day over with so I can go back to bed. That is weird about the bookstore. It be interesting to know what was going on.

Janie Great job on HS! I really like that one. A lot of fun and it seems to fly by. Great job on your fast beach walk with Rolly. Legs are definitely hard but I do enjoy torturing them.

Today was XTrain Legs Plus X10 Low Impact Hiit only. Whew, Love The Hiit! Also Rolly and I walked the beach for about 35 min. Such beautiful weather lately.

Pam, Great job on PRS #2. Hmmm, I'll have to take a look at that one. Enjoy your wedding reception and friends over tomorrow, Oh and the Segway tour.

Today I did X53. Wow that is quite a workout. I was dripping sweat at the end. After that I was going to do housework but got lazy and sat on the couch instead :eek:. I think the fog is making me tired.

Saturday I did a lot of cleaning and am so happy I got it done. I got my refrigerator cleaned out and organized which was in desperate need of happening. Sunday I did my Get Glutes workout and added on upper body work. Then it was lazy day with DH. We watched some episodes of Bones until the GB Packer game came on around 3:30. This morning I tried to convince myself to stay in bed but I got up and did CrossFire instead.

Cheryl Great job on Rockout Knockout! I had Friday off and the 3-day weekend flew by. Why is it the work week lasts forever but the weekends don’t? Great job on X53! I think that would make any of us wanna be lazy and sit on the couch. Those X10 workouts are no joke.

Janie Great job on XT Legs plus X10 Low Impact! Plus a walk on the beach too! Sounds like you are enjoying some really nice weather. We have SNOW in the forecast for tomorrow. I hope we don’t get any but I would rather snow than ice.

Julie I hope that you enjoyed your day off on Friday! Great job on GG and TTM! That is quite the combo! I'm thinking that I need to start checking out some of the premixes on the new step workouts.

Cheryl combo 5 is the one where you do a V step up and then rotate so that you are standing sideways on the step. It's similar to a combo in one of her other workouts that I don't like either. I think it's something about the little turn to the side. :rolleyes: great job on Rockout Knockout, I hope you had a great weekend after the long short week last week!

Julie Wow, great job on all of your cleaning on Saturday, how nice to have that behind you! Great job on GG and upper body work on Sunday and doing Cf this morning when you weren't even feeling it. That is quite the workout for days when you aren't into it! It's quite the workout for a day when you ARE into it!

Saturday morning was XTRAIN chest, back and shoulders. I could really tell I haven't lifted heavy in awhile, my normal weights were a real struggle. I am still feeling it in my chest today too! Yesterday was my rest day. After the Segway tour I came home and made some progress cleaning out the attic. There is still more work to be done there, but I threw out a lot of stuff and have a nice big pile for Goodwill too. This morning was AOLIH and I added on x10 fat burning circuit since LIH is only 39 minutes. Tonight I came home and did core number 1 since I've noticed there isn't much core work in this rotation. Now I'm pooped, I think it's going to be an early night! I hope everyone had ad great Monday!

Julie You are better than me in the cleaning department. I was too lazy to do anything. Good job on your GG and upper body workout. Good for you in getting up and doing Crossfire. I just can't get myself out of bed that early anymore. It is annoying that the work week goes by so slow and the weekend....there was a weekend :D. Yuck snow :eek:. I hope you don't get anything it is still way to early for snow.

Pam I remember that combo. I can't remember if I like it or not. I will have to do that one again. I was a slug this weekend. I really didn't do much. There was so much fog it just made me tired. Today I was so tired. I kept on waking up every couple of hours :(. I did talk myself into doing Party Rocking Step #1 though when I got home from work. I am glad that I worked out instead of just sitting on the couch. It has been so foggy here the last little while. It kinda makes you tired, you know the sun is out there you just can't see it.

This weekend I strained the left side of my left foot. I was at "Wash Away Beach" and climbing up onto the erosion and put my foot down the wrong way in order to balance myself to get on stable ground. This weekend was not good for exercising. I can really only do the upper body until my foot heals. Amazing how much you need your feet. What else can I injure, right? Damn. I know I have weak feet, so once it heals I better darn make sure they get strong by exercising them as I would all little muscles, also I need to put in balance exercises as well, so I can do my long term exercises properly. DARN! TEARS! I will do what I can without re-injuring my foot. Shaking head back and forth. Hopefully it won't take long. At this age it seems I always have to be soooooo darn careful at anything I do when before I didn't have to care at all. It's frustrating being old. Better get out of the mode of feeling sorry for myself. It doesn't do a bit of good.

Cheryl, Great job on X53. It does sound like a terrific workout. I love sweating, makes me feel accomplished.

Julie, Great job on CleanMax Sat. If you were to get cold weather I hope too that you get the snow instead of ice. Also good job on Sunday's Get Glutes with the addition of upper body work. Joey and I love watching Bones too. We have them recorded. Also on doing CrossFire and getting out of bed.

Pam, Great job on Sat. XTrain chest, back and shoulders. You are doing so well. Also for the rest day of CleanMax with the attic. And for this morning's AOLIH with the addition of x10 fat burning circuit, and tonight's core #1.

Cheryl, Great job on talking yourself into doing Party Rocking Step #1. I think foggy days have a way of making you tired too. Hoping for more Sunny days for you.

Cheryl Sometimes it is good to be a slug! I love to have a fire and sit and read in front of it on those dreary days like that. Oh man, I hate it when I keep waking up, that is so annoying! Good for you for doing PRS 1 after you got home. That one takes some brain power!

Janie OH No, sorry to hear that you strained your foot! How frustrating. Do rest it and let it heal, as I know you already know. I am hoping that it heals fast. I totally understand your frustration!

This morning for me was Burn sets upper body. I had never done this premix before, wow! It is long - 78 minutes, but really goes by fast. I need to keep it in mind for a great total upper body workout! I must be worrying about getting my workouts done because I keep having dreams that I am up and trying to do my workout but something is preventing me. What's up with that?! Have a great day!

This morning was another morning where I did not want to get up. I don’t think I should take 3 day weekends anymore. It makes it harder to get back on schedule. Anyway, I did get up and did my Get Glutes workout. Then I added on some extra back work.

Pam Great job on XTrain CBS! Yea on getting some of the attic cleaned out. I always have a huge smile on my face when I see bags ready for Goodwill. Great job on AOLIH and adding on X10 FBC! You are so good doing core when you got home. I can barely add it when it is in my workout. I have had those dreams too! Usually I am at someone else’s house trying to figure out how to do my workout without my step or weights.

Cheryl Great job on PRS1 after work! That’s how I felt after doing CrossFire yesterday morning and my workout this morning, glad that I did it instead of staying in bed although I really, really wanted to stay in bed. I think you described the weekend perfectly, “what weekend”. I need to figure out a way to make them more memorable or last longer.

Janie I am so sorry you hurt your foot! Once your foot is healed, I wonder if doing Turbo Barre once a week would help strengthen your feet since that is done without shoes? Yoga Max and Relax would be great for balance plus it is shoeless so you would get the small feet muscles working. Can you do floorwork for lower body?
