My favorite book is The Stand, by Stephen King...I've read it about three times.

I would love to go to Venice. I don't know anyone who's ever been there but they portray it in the movies to be beautiful, tranquil and romantic.

I don't know if we would consider her famous, but Cathe of course & I did finally get to meet her at the Jult RT. She is just so amazing!

Back in the early 90s, my all-time favorite professor was kind enough to set up a meeting with her friend and me. This friend was rich and gave money, from time to time, to folks who were interested in, but couldn't afford, the Iowa Writers' Workshop. I never went to the meeting (too chicken). DUMB!

Oh, anorexia was a really, really stupid daliance. I'd never, ever, ever wish an eating disorder on anybody. Ever.

Regret: That I didn't discover fitness earlier in life. Otherwise I try not to live with regret, not good for the soul.

Parents meeting: I believe they met at work, a car dealership. My mother was a secretary my Dad a salesman.

If you cuold change one thing about yourself what would it be?

My parents met on a blind date...married now for 40+ years. I wish everyone would read "Where the Red Fern Grows." My biggest regret was getting married at 21 (divorced now).

Questions: If you could have 1 super power, what would it be?

I had a Mcdonald's cheeseburger (top half of bun removed with all the extra scraped off, folded in half) so it was only half a cheeseburger!;), right? also had the small fries and a diet coke

Super power I would want? I think a built in lie detector, so I could know when people were *being nice or polite* and when they were flat out lying to my face.

Yes, with my second son I just KNEW he was a girl. Never mind what the ultrasound tech said. Well she was right, he had a penis. My only girls are dogs. I wouldn't change him though!!

That the cancer will come back. And it won't be playing nicey-nice this time, it will be playing for keeps.
