silly but, do you put the paper over or under?

Yes, it's a silly question, but my DH and I have a silent battle over the TP! He likes the paper coming out underneath -- I like it flopping over the top -- and everytime I go I change it to the way I like it. When I come back later, it's changed back to the way he likes it. Are we weird, or what???:+

I put it over. Be thankful - my Ex didn't like it on the roll at all so every time I went in there, it was on the sink or the tub or some other place!

I like it under, however DH has a habit of putting the new roll on the vanity and not putting it on the roller at all. Drives me crazy!

FUNNY! I never gave it any thought until I had kids. My son used to play in the bathroom and unroll the TP simply by swiping his hand over it. I learned REAL quick to make sure the TP is put on the roll so that it comes out from underneath. You should have seen him getting SO VERY frustrated when he couldn't get it to unroll anymore! LOL

I just took a poll at my house, 3 out of 4 prefer the paper to come from underneath (better spin control and easier rippage). Eldest DD doesn't care "as long as there's paper on the roll!". She seems to always get there when there's just one square left on the roll! What is up with that?!........maybe that's for another thread!:+

Definitely, OVER! I have ten children and I tell you what when it is under they roll it off too fast and use too much. When they were two year olds they couldn't get the roll to go so fast as to get all the paper off of the holder.

It is a good thing my DH and I agree, but my oldest daughter (32) worked for me for two years in the house and she always put it UNDER and it drove us nuts! We are the same way with paper towels - you can always see the end with it over.

That is so funny. I like it over too. Whenever I go back up to Ohio to visit my parents, I always turn the roll around because they put it on to go under. I hate it that way. It is weird how we have to have the toilet paper unrolling a certain way!

Definitely over. When it's over it's easier for me to find the end when I have to go during the night.

Since DH doesn't replace the roll I always have it my way. He probably believes that a little gremlin sneaks in and magically replaces the roll when it gets low.
