The TP definitely has to be over. Also, my roller is the one w/ the air freshener in it that gets tossed around inside when you move the roll. Me and my husband just replaced the toilet in the downstairs bathroom. I bought the see through acrylic seat w/ all the sea shells in it. I love it. My husband says, "I do not like seeing inside the toilet". I now keep the lid completely closed just to see the design. The other 2 bathrooms are getting new toilets and acrylic seats, just differrent designs.

Definitely over. I simply could not sleep at night if my TP was hanging the wrong way.

ETA: this should've been a poll. I'm way to lazy to do the math myself. ;-)

Hey, a solution!
Cut a roll of TP in half, down the center. Hang half of it "over" and half of it "under." The strips are thinner, but it could make everyone happy!:+

My husband goes both ways, but I definitely like it over.

And, toilet seats down at all times, please (especially in the powder room which is off our center hall.

On a similar note, my sister's first husband felt that bathroom doors should be kept closed at all times. I remember standing outside their bathroom waiting a very long time to get in, thinking someone must have died in there. Nope, the room was empty.
