shouldn't the workout card have lines?

Is there any way to print the workout card with lines that divide the exercises? Also, the only way mine prints is so small it's really hard to even see the numbers. What am I doing wrong?
Excuse my computer stupidity:p

The way the workout card prints is determined by your printer driver and computer settings. In most cases the card will print just fine and at the right size, but for many it will not. The only way around this is for us add a print function to print the card as a pdf. This is something we're planning on doing in about a week or two.

Hooray! I've been waiting for this. It's really time-consuming to have to copy and paste and then format the cards in Excel to make them readable and of any use at all. The PDF option will be a great addition to the WM. I'm glad it's finally being added. Thanks!

I used to wish for lines ... but no more. I *like* to add them myself :D It's become a ritual. I'll print the cards for the week, and then a day or so in advance, I'll go through the workout, exercise by exercise, and draw a line at the logical break (a change in position, after a triset, whatever). That lets me think through what I'll be doing, what equipment I'll be using, where the barbell needs to be loaded, compare to the previous workout.give myself a visual mental breaking point - all a part of my personal mental preparation for what's coming. Having "my own lines" keeps me focused during the workout, too. I'm sort of glad there are no lines; it forced me to turn drawing them into a creative and useful part of my workout prep :)

It will be nice to have PDF, of course; thanks for adding this to the feature list.

Great!! I was having problems too. I like having the lines. Will keep looking for it - thanks guys!

Fantastic! You guys are so far ahead of us ... LUV all the upgrades we've seen along the way!
Thanks for all you do!

YEA! Does that mean we can change font size as well? As is I need to copy/paste to MS Word, change page set up, font, etc.

That's what I did, too. I drew my own lines at the logical break. Change in body part, end of triset, end of wave, etc. Helped me break it down mentally. "Only 2 more sets to go - then I can keel over" Made it look like a lot less work, and made it easier to get over the mental bump.

Yeah! Now I won't have to carry my reading glasses downstairs to my workout area just so I can see the workout card!!

Is there anyway you can add a "calories burned for the month" on the workout manager homepage. It has "for the week & year to date" but I'd also like to know month to month. That way I can compare calories consumed and calories burned within the month.
Thanks!

How to solve this problem

The problem most of you are having is you don't have background colors and images enabled on your browser. To view and print the workout card the way it was meant to look you need to enable this feature on your browser. Just click on the link below for the browser you use to do this:

* Print Background Colors and Images Internet Explorer Firefox Safari

Great idea... I thought I was the only one who couldn't read the blasted numbers without a bright light, and I coulen't figure out how to make it print bigger. I've been drawing my own lines as I work down the list. I guess this ends my excuse for saying it read 30 lbs instead of 38.

SNM - thank you so much!!! I tried this, and it worked!:)
BTW, and this is just my opinion, but I would prefer to have actual lines instead of just the shaded background, but maybe you're working on that already. Just thought I'd suggest it. Thanks again!

Oh yeah - also, this still didn't solve the small font problem, it only added the background shading, but it sounded like in your first post that the font problem will be solved in a week or two. Right? Can't wait to not have to lean over squinting at my workout card trying to see the numbers with sweat stinging my eyes!! Thanks for workin' in out!!

I understand now what you guys are saying about the lines. I hadn't run across the fact that there are no lines since I print my cards from Excel and was putting the lines in through there -- not realizing they are not shown in the original card.

I'll put in my vote for having lines, too -- the printed boxes make it much easier and cleaner to log the information. This is especially true since so many times my entries are nearly illegible anyway because my arm/hand/body is shaking from the set!
