Prayer Request for my Dad

My Dad has been a two year cancer survivor but from a recent MRI, the doctors found lymphoma on his spine. He had a stem cell transplant at Mayo after the cancer had disappeared back then. My parents leave for Mayo this weekend to start tests but would like to do treatment in northern MI. Also, my new college career is in question of how it would be possible to do this while my Dad going through this all over again. The good news is that the lymphoma was spotted on the spine and the lumbar but not in the pockets. In addition, his last blood work came out great.

Oh, Jennifer, sending good vibes your and your father's way! Best of luck to your whole family while you deal with this. (((((((HUGS)))))))

{{{{{Jennifer}}}}} I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll be sure to include your dad and family in my prayers. Good luck with school!

I think you keep the classes

Perhaps meet with all of your instructors and see how much you can do anyway. If there are classes that can't get by without perfect attendance maybe thats the ones to drop right now or have some one help fill in with your Dad. It would be a shame if you had to stop your college career right now. I think that would make your Dad a bit sad about the whole situation. Be there as much as you can. Also, it might entertain him to hear about what you are studying, it might be something for him to think about other than being sick.

I will keep him in my prayers.

Thank you for the hugs and for the prayers everyone. I am sticking with school, in addition to work, for now. If he does treatment in northern MI, I will do homework where ever I am at. My MBA concentration is health care administration so he would be able to help me out greatly with this subject. The tenatitive schedule is for my parents to head out to Mayo on Saturday for tests all day on Monday then proceed with chemo. LORD-willing, that's the plan.
