Perceptions of Americans overseas can change with the wind.

My first trip to Israel with my ship in 1979, Americans could do no wrong. Carter had successfully got Egypt and Israel to quit killing each other. You couldn't buy a drink in a bar.

The second trip to Israel in 1982 we weren't allowed to wear uniforms ashore because the locals were upset as Reagan had sold the Saudis AWACS planes.

I'm not one to listen to a whole lot of "whining", but discussion that follows with action to correct what one percieves as a wrong is what America is all about. Otherwise we'd be 13 "whining" colonies.

Wow - - eesh - - what else is there to say.....

other then, I must be very very bored at work for reading this post, which I admit I am pretty zoned out after taking about six MIDOL to deal with my immense cramps......

I hope everyone finds something better to do - - I know I need to muster the strength to overcome my major menstrual symptoms and get ready to get busy with my workout pretty soon.....
