>My experience is first hand as far as what the Europeans think
>of us, and again I agree with them.
And because it is your opinion that it is accurate, it must be accurate? And obviously your intellect and opinion is superior to mine???? Why? You haven't proven anything either! You have just thrown out an article with bunch of statements, where is the proof??
Oh, you have first hand-experience with Europeans?? :7 :7 How much time did you spend there? A couple of days, a couple of weeks? That certainly makes you an expert that I probably can't match }(! I have only lived in several parts of Europe for 30 years and still have friends and family there that I correspond with on a weekly basis and I do speak the language (several of those languages actually). Did you read the paper over there, watch the news, see the anti-Bush demonstrations??? No offense, but I think my knowledge about the European mindset is a little more first-hand than yours
Eyeyey, Bill! I guess people believe whatever they want to believe. I chose to believe facts, not partisan gagglediguck from either side of the aisle and yes, I do look at who writes articles and deceiptful people like this "author" don't sit well with me. But whatever floats your boat, Bill.
I don't need to sleep on that, Bill. The truth is always in the eye of the beholder. My truth may not be your truth and vice versa.
The impression I get, is, that you don't seem to be the least bit interested in a discussion or exchange of opinions, you just want to be right and in your own words want to drive the left wingers nuts. Lovely!
ETA:
There are hundreds of pages all over the Internet as to what Europeans think of Americans, here is only one example from an interview that was published at the University of Heidelberg, Germany
Translation:
Professor Junker, Mr. Lautenschlaeger, in Germany we often hear: I don't have anything against the USA, only against President Bush. His presidency will end in two years from now. Do you think the transatlantic relationship will improve with his departure?

I can give you a whole bunch of them (and not only from Germany) but it would overextend the scope of this forum.
Have a wonderful night!
