Hardcore Fitness Maniacs OCTOBER 2018

Good afternoon,

Today I did RWH Circuit Lower Body. DH and I will leave tomorrow for my BIL service. We plan on staying a few day's and visit my husbands Italian family. They are all over Ohio. I am not sure if I get any workouts in or not? I am bringing my computer, maybe I can stream SBF.

Debbie - yes, we will. DH and I will leave tomorrow morning. So sorry you had to go through this with your dad. That is horrible. There isn't a day I don't think about my dad and my mom. Good job with your workouts.

Diane Sue - nice job with your workouts. Be careful with your knees.

Roxie - nice job with Stepboxing. Still haven't done that workout, lol.

Roslyn - great job yesterday with Yvette Bachmann.

Jolie - great job yesterday. Sorry about the hot flashes.

I will try to check in tomorrow. If not, I do when I can.
 
WOW, what a day! Home inspection, Appraisal and termite inspection all complete! Today I got up and got out early to get in a 6 mile walk, a beautiful day, and really enjoyed it. 1 hour 48 minutes and I burned 927 calories. I walked hills today which were hard because my legs are sore from yesterdays workout. I am so sick of all this work to sell my house. Also, I cant wait to have my son go back to school!!! Talk about a kid that just doesn't want to do the work to get good grades! I would like to thank every single one of you ladies for all of your support over the last year or so because I could have NEVER survived without all of your positive comments and support. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. With that said, tomorrow is another day.

Belinda, have a safe trip. It is nice that you will be able to visit with some of your husband's family.

Roselyn, what is the Ignite workout?

Jolie, that is great that you had some time to get out and enjoy a walk. It seems it would be a stress buster for awhile. Sorry your son is just not putting effort in to the school work. I know you had hopes with it. It is hard when you want so much for them and they just don't get the repercussions of not getting the education.
 
No workout today because we lost power this morning at 3:30 and it never came back on by the time I had to leave for work. At least I got to sleep in a bit. We had some equipment issues I guess, it is back on now as far as I know. Bummed about not working out but this is sort of a rest week anyways.

I don't have time for personals, I hope you all have a great workout today!!

This morning I did Coffey Fit Raw Kettlebell and Kickbox, 31 minutes, average heart rate 121, max 158, met 5.8, 198 calories, 1,762 steps. I then did Fit SPlit Boxing Boot camp premix timesaver kick box only, 35 minutes, average heart rate 130, max 158, 3,113 steps, met 5.9, 228 calories. I finished off with a You Tube Yoga with Sarah Beth energizing morning yoga, 16 minutes, met 2.0, 35 calories. Total time was 82 minutes, 461 calories. 4,875 steps.

Debbie, I have had that happen and just used my laptop with a downloaded workout. I can usually manage a short workout without the battery running out. It is annoying when that happens. Have a nice day and rest ;)

Roxie, keep working on those workouts and you will soon find you can do the moves easily. If they were easy, why would we do them ;)

Belinda, thinking and praying for you as you travel today and for your family as well.

Diane Sue - that's the workout I was going to do this morning, the RAW Kickbox Kettlebell workout. And then I was going to do the RAW stretch. I'll probably just do them tomorrow. You have more dedication than I do, I was happy to sleep in today. LOL!

Debbie, there is no sleeping in here once my husband's alarm goes off and he gets up to use his workout equipment in our bedroom. I have to get up and would never fall back asleep if I went and laid down on the couch or something. That Raw workout has a nice little Kettlebell ab routine on the end of it.
 
Today had to be my rest day for the week because I had the painter come up and do some painting that they missed or didn't do a good job. I really tired anyway so it worked out. I have shin splints today from all of the hill I walked yesterday.

Debbie, we lost power last week too! Have a nice rest day.

Diane Sue, nice workout today with the RAW workout. I am making grilled chicken breast with lemon and garlic and some asparagus and burnt broccoli. I am trying hard to eat more and make better choices. I add protein to my coffee every morning and I am trying to eat an egg each day as well. I think I have gained weight because I barely eat some days. I need to feed the muscle.

Roxie-nice job on the kickboxing workout! I notice you have some weight to loose, me too! I am trying to get off the summer diet and get back to eating better.

Good Afternoon,

I did a second workout since I finally finished my CEU’s for my staye license it was a 37 minute spin workout called The Red Zone Ride 324 calories 7.6 miles it was a puke status workout.

Jolie-my doctor has put me on a diet she wants me to get more protein an keep my calories at 13-1500 I don’t eat regular meals no breakfast an lunch is whatever DJ fixes supper.
 
Roxie - You HAVE TO EAT BREAKFAST! It gets your metabolism going. Oatmeal, eggs, anything like that. You should get into the habit of eating breakfast. I honestly don't think you eat enough. Just my 2 cents. :)
 
Jolie, what you eat makes a huge difference in how you feel and weight gain. You need enough fuel for your body to work right. I had a Grilled Ahi Tuna Steak with brussels sprouts and a lime, garlic, ginger drizzle over it all. Generally I use Bok Choy for this dish, but I could not find any at Sprouts :O I don't eat a regular breakfast, but I get extra calories in the morning pre-workout with my coffee, collagen, cream, sometimes mct oil before I start. Some days I add a scoop of protein powder too. It depends on the type of protein powder I have as some of them like bone broth do not mix well in coffee. I like using the Ancient Nutrition pre-workout drink, but it all gets so costly keeping all of it around. I keep a good quality protein bar or collagen bar handy for something quick post workout if I have something I have to do. Like today I ate an Ancient Nutrition bar and headed out to get my flu shot before the doctors office closed for lunch break. I have lunch, dinner and two snacks with protein in each meal and snack throughout the rest of the day.My last snack is always some protein and collagen. It works for me as I like to workout somewhat fasted in the morning. If I had to go work or out of the house, I would eat something for sure though.

Roxie, you should follow your doctor's suggestion on eating. You need more protein for those workouts. Do you usually do two workouts a day?

Yeah pretty much I have been taking a cheese stick an some nuts for a mid morning snack but then I don’t eat until 6:30

Sorry this is so long!!!

So I need some feedback from those of you who do Kelly's RAW workouts. Do the workouts stream okay for you? Do they stop but the voice keeps going and then the workout starts working again or do they just stop completely to buffer and then start again when you are using her workouts? I tried doing the RAW Kettlebell Kickboxing workout and the first 10 minutes of workout was like this. The workout would buffer every 15 seconds or so, it was so frustrating. Or the workout would stop playing but you could still hear her talking and then it would start playing again. I ended up stopping the workout, shutting off my laptop and doing the B&B Kettlebell Kickboxing workout instead. SO mad about this! I'm not sure if it's our internet, my laptop or Kelly's website,

My DH and I can stream 5 things all at once and never have an issue with it. The minute I go to workout the video will not play continuously. I'm going to mess with it tonight when I get home but usually when my DH and I are looking at it in the evenings it's fine. Could it be the traffic on her website in the mornings? Are any of you having this issue?

So today I ended up doing B&B Kettlebell Kickboxing and had an ok workout. I find 15# is too heavy for this workout and 10# is too light. I need a 12# kettlebell. This workout seemed way too easy for me (maybe I should have used the 15# kettlebell) but I still had a good workout.

Workout was 30 minutes, burned 217 calories and did 2110 steps. HR was 131/209. Now I have no idea when my watch seen 209 because I certainly was not near that range. Even the average being 131 is questionable. Every time I looked at my watch it showed my HR at 108 or 111, I never seen 131 let alone 209.

Not a great morning as you can tell.

I also did Karen Voight's Yoga Stretch because I really needed a stretch. The entire left side of my body just hurts. I need to stretch a bit tonight as well. I wanted to do Kelly's RAW Stretch but you can imagine I did not want that frustration.

Diane Sue - Great job with RAW KBKB - I'm jealous because I love that workout. Wish I could have done it this morning. The way we live and eat is expensive isn't it? I need to get more Protein powder, it seems like I am buying that stuff all the time. It's $35 a pop. I hate that all that kind of stuff is so high in price.

Roxie - When you quote people in your posts it's really hard to figure out what you are trying to respond to, at least from what I'm seeing on my screen, not sure about others. So what are you looking on your IPAD for? I didn't understand what you meant. Nice job on your workouts yesterday, you did two!! High fives girl!! But again, you really do need to start eating small meals at least 4 times a day if not 5, and that includes breakfast. This is my eating regime daily:

Protein shake after my workout
Oatmeal (different recipes that I do) at 9:30
Lunch at Noon - I have soup, cashews, grapefruit
Snack at 2:30 - usually deviled eggs or a low sugar protein bar
Dinner at 5:30 - I cook something healthy every day, nothing processed or full of grease or fat
6:30 I might have a snack if I still have calories aloud. If that happens I'll eat a granola bar or Corn Flakes with half a banana.

You need to spread out your foods throughout the day which means figuring it out ahead of time. I do all my planning and cooking for my lunches on Sunday's. Everything is ready for me to just grab before I head to work. I plan my dinners each week before I go grocery shopping so I know what I will be making each day. I hope this helps, planning goes a long way with losing weight. YOU have to take action for yourself, no one else will do it. You said you eat whatever DJ makes for lunch - who's DJ? And what kind of lunches are they making? You need to eat good foods all of the time to lose weight. If DJ isn't making you healthy lunches, you need to make your own. I'm hoping this doesn't sound harsh, I went back and read it and I don't mean it to sound like that. I just wanted to give you an idea on how I plan my day and hopefully this will help you.

Jolie - I hope the shin splints are better today, ouch!!! Hope the painting got done and completed the way it should have been to begin with. How frustrating!!

Roselyn - Nice job on Beast shoulders yesterday!! I want to do that series so bad, I just don't have time nor do I want to not be able to do cardio. Maybe next summer I'll do Beast again.

Belinda - Hope all is going well in Ohio. It's cold here, be prepared!!!

Good morning everyone.

I didn't had time to workout yesterday. Today I did a short SBF UB workout with water bottles, lol.

Took us a little over 5 hours to get here. Boy it's cold in Ohio :( DH and I decided not to be a burden on our nephew, we are staying in a hotel. He is a single father of 2. I haven't seen my nephew since he was very little. We will spent time with them today, in the morning head out to Toledo to met my husbands Italian family. I didn't get much sleep last night. I never sleep well in hotels.

I have to hurry, we meeting up with family shortly. I will be back later.

Good Morning,

I did KCM Cardio Pump Kickboxing I was suppose to do Lean Body Circuits but I cut my finger slicing apples for my overnight oatmeal.

Debbie-I haven’t had problems with Raw but I have only used my laptop or Roku I don’t have a smart tv. I was doing continuing education all day yesterday on my IPad so I can renew my license and felt like I needed a second workout. My DH fixes my suppers because I get home at 6 and he goes to bed at 8:30 so we don’t like late suppers and he grills a lot of our food. Sorry you were having so many problems this morning.
