This morning I did STS 2.0 One Body Part Legs. Had a great workout, I really like this workout. I went up in weight on a lot of the moves. Was sweating by the time I got done.

1 minute rest between each exercise

Squats: 20's - 8 reps
Squats w/Pink Fabric Band: 20's - 2 sets/8 reps
Elevated Squats: 25# - 10 reps
Dumbbell Deadlifts: 25's - 8 reps
Dumbbell Deadlifts: 25's - 8 reps
Close Grip Sumo Squats: 30# - 8 reps
R/L Reverse Static Lunges: 15's - 2 sets/10 reps
R/L Side Slide Lunges: 15# - 2 sets/10 reps
R/L BSS: 15# - 12 reps (I did one leg squats)
R/L Forward Leaning BSS: 15# (I did one leg deads)
Barbell Hip Thrusters: 35# - 3 sets/8 reps
R/L Side Lying Hip Raises: Skipped
In the Box Calf Raises: 15's - 16 reps facing forward, side, back, side - total of 64 raises (I did them all forward, I don't get the box thing)
In the Box Calf Raises: 15's/8 reps as above - total of 32 raises (Again, I stood forward the whole time)

Tough workout. It was 46 minutes, burned 243 calories and HR was 110/137.

Belinda - I'm surprised they allowed you to have your other eye surgery since you have Covid. Sorry it didn't happen, though. How frustrating!!

Diane - So sorry to hear you are in such pain. Maybe you should get an x-ray? Maybe it's more than what you actually think it is. It doesn't sound right to me. I feel so bad for you. :(

Jolie - Nice workout. How are the fires? Are they being contained finally?

Diane - it will happened next week. Its all good. I am so sorry you still have problems with your neck and upper body. I hope you can figure it out soon.

Debbie - CDC guidelines you only have to stay home if you don‘t have any symptoms for 5 day‘s. I talked to all my doctors, they all cleared me for surgery. I don‘t have any Covid symptoms thanks to Paxlovid. Great job on your workout today.
 
Yesterday I got in a 3 mile walk before I went to the Chiro appointment. My back was really out so I am sore today. My doctor told me not to workout today, to take a recovery day so I do not screw up what she fixed. Yesterday I got an email from Collage Video and a lot of their DVD's were on major sale so I bought two. I got Cathe's LITE Strong Body Stacked Sets and the Pyramid Pump. They look really good; I was able to preview them before I purchased them. I can't wait to try a new workout or two!

The fires are still going but the weather is getting cold and there is a marine layer as well. Everyone wants the Governor, Mayor and Fire Chief to resign! Over 11,000 homes were burnt as of now and the number is still growing. The insurance premiums for everyone nationwide are going to go through the roof to cover the cost of the damages.

Debbie, great job on the workout yesterday! You are so strong it amazes me. I need to focus on getting my strength back up, it is coming back slowly but surely.

Diane sue, I am so sorry you are feeling pain! Feel better! Have you looked into Peptide injections! They are amazing for pain, arthritis, inflammation and so much more. No doctor's office does this type of thing, you need to find someone that does it independently. Follow on Instagram jaycompbell333 and you will learn a lot about them!

Belinda, I am happy that you are feeling better and good luck with the other surgery.

Today I had an excellent upper body workout. I did Caroline Girvan's Beast Mode Shoulders and Arms, Intense Upper Body workout Day 2 and loved it. This workout is 40 seconds on and 20 seconds rest working each exercise times 4 sets before moving on to the next exercise. This is my favorite way to workout. I forgot to look at the time of this workout but if I recall, it was 46 minutes. I will be doing this workout again in the near future. Loved it!

Arnold Press Seated- 12's x 4 sets
Alternating Lateral Raise- 8's x 4 sets (could go heavier next time)
Partial Lateral Raise- 8's x 1 set
Alternating Front Raise- 8's x 4 sets
Rear Delt Flys seated- 8's x 4 sets
Skull Crushers- 12's x 4 sets
Close Grip Chest Press (no pushups)- 15's x 4 sets
Partial Lateral Raise- 8's x 1 set
Alternating Hammer Curls- 15's x 4 sets
Rotational Curls- 12's x 4 sets
Finisher:
Lateral Raises- 8's x 1 set
Partial Lateral Raises- 8's x 1 set

I cannot wait till tomorrow for Trump to be sworn into office. Goodbye crime, welcome home hostages, deport illegal citizens, better food, better prices, better real estate, lower taxes, higher wages, no more mandatory vaccines and the list goes on and on. No More Big Government!!!

Roselyn, what program are you doing right now? Great job on the back workout.

Belinda, I hope you enjoyed your walk. It is 58 degrees here today and Wed. will be close to 80 degrees! I can't wait!

No workout today. It has been a busy week. Next two weeks will be the same so if I am missing here that is why. Yesterday I did another short workout. Raw Arms 20 minutes, 119 calories, heart rate 118/137. I followed it by Lift Move Restore Core Bonus and added the stretch, 14 minutes, 56 calories, heart rate 100/133. This core workout requires some balance and coordination. Total time 34 minutes, 175 calories.
I feel good today. The pain let up and surprisingly the core work did not cause a lot of pain in the ribs. Hopefully it stays away.

Raw Arms

Overhead triceps extension 10# dbs

Jolie, great job on the walk on Friday and the Beast Mode Shoulders and Arms workout. I love Ice and Pyramid Pump, and Strong Body Stacked Sets. I am sure you will enjoy them. Thanks for the suggestion. I will check the peptide injection out. I am not familiar with places around here that are up on that sort of thing. Not near me anyway. It would help if I could get rid of all of the coughing as that alone can cause costochondritis. My Pulmonologist is checking my lungs out and for asthma. My neck is usually okay if I am not sitting or lying down wrong. Unfortunately, sitting for hours in waiting rooms at doctors is not good as well as driving. I have a two hour slot set Wednesday for the cardiologist and echo.

Belinda, glad that you got out for a walk. I hope you are feeling much better.

Today I did STS 2.0 Body Parts Triceps. Had an excellent workout, I like this one.

1 minute rest between sets.

Lying Overhead Barbell Extension: 30# - 3 sets/10 reps
R/L Single Arm Overhead Extension: 12# - 2 sets/9 reps
Dips: 25# in lap - 3 sets/8 reps
R/L Kneeling Single Arm Kickback: 10# - 2 sets/10 reps
Band Overhead Extension: 15# band - 2 sets/12 reps
Band Triceps Pressdown, Palms back: 20# band - 2 sets/12 reps
Band Reverse Grip Pressdown, Palms front: 20# band - 2 sets/12 reps

I also did STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core work. Love that workout.

Total time was 52 minutes, burned 245 calories, HR was 104/154.

Great workouts this weekend everyone!! I'm off today, thank God, because it's below zero here and for the next few days. I'm hoping we will be able to work from home tomorrow and Wednesday because by Wednesday, it's supposed to be -23 degrees. Holy moly!! This cold is all over the country, I hope you are all staying warm!!

Getting ready to watch the inauguration! I never thought this day would ever come.

Sorry I didn’t check in yesterday. We got a lot of snow and ice. Too cold to walk outside.
Tomorrow I have infusion. I will do maybe a short indoor walk?

This morning I did RAW Kickbox #5 and had a pretty good workout considering I didn't even want to workout today. It felt good to get movement in. This cold is killing me. It's -10 right now and it's 9:30. WTF??

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 334 calories, went 3683 steps and HR was 136/171.

Loved watching the inauguration. His speech at the inauguration was excellent. The one in the room with the other people was a bit weird, but that's how Trump is. He cracks me up.

Belinda - It has been cold!! Hope you can get a walk in. Take care and stay warm!!

You all are freezing and I have hot weather this week. Today our temps get into the high 70's, lets hope we do not get anymore fires than we have right now. San Diego area has a fire that started yesterday but I think it is under control already. I am in shorts and a tank top at 8am this morning. We need some rain soon!

Todays workout was the same as last Tuesday's workout, Caroline Girvan Epic Heat Giant Killer Upper Body Workout and boy was it KILLER! I went up in the shoulder presses to 15's this week and was better than the 12's. Workout was 36 minutes long, but it felt like an hour. I did 5 minutes and the Max Trainer at the end of the workout to get in some leg movement. I'm dead! I watch the inauguration yesterday from 7am to 7pm, I kept it on all day long and glance at it whenever I had a chance. God Bless the USA! It is time for the Golden Age to start!

Debbie, great job on the workout on Monday and your kickboxing workout today! You all are really getting the cold weather on that side of the US. Wow! Thursday we are supposed to be at 80 degrees but hopefully not that hot.

Diane Sue, follow along to the Instagram account I gave you; they are so informative about peptides and which ones to use for what problem. A lot of these you can get through the mail with an online doctor's visit. I hope you are doing well today.

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I don‘t know what happened after my infusion, I got so tired. It wore me out. I fell asleep early. Boy it‘s so cold outside. I did do a short indoor walk.

Tomorrow I have my 2nd eye surgery. Fingers crossed no problems.

This morning I did STS 2 Body Parts Shoulders and had a great workout. I went higher with some of the moves and was able to use a 30# barbell for the overhead presses for all three sets. I was pumped!!!

Standing Iso Hold w/Overhead Press: 5#/12# - 2 sets/8 reps
Incline Front Raise: 8's/5's - 2 sets/8 reps

Alternate Seated Lateral Raise: 5's - 1 set/12 reps
Standing Front/Side Slide Combo: 5's - 1 set/10 reps
Hip Huggers: 20's 2 sets/8 reps
Rear Delt/Hip Hugger SS: 6# & 20's - 2 sets/8 reps
Band Single Arm Rear Delt Fly: 15# band - 2 sets/10 reps
Face Pulls: 20# band - 1 set/11 reps

Workout was 44 minutes, burned 203 calories, HR was 104/153.

Jolie - I thought CA was getting cold weather too, you are so lucky!!! We are at 23 below zero and our pipes froze up. Luckily we caught it in time and nothing burst. This weather sucks. I have to go out in it today, too. Yikes!! I sure hope you get rain soon!! Great workout, I want to do Caroline's workouts again. Maybe I'll do some next week, see how I like them.

This morning I did RAW Kickbox #7 and had a great workout. This was kind of strange because Kelly says we can use ankle weights but she didn't. I put my 2# ankle weights on but by the middle of the workout, my knees started to feel it because there was some jumping. I took them off at that point. Had a great workout, though. I used my 1.5# egg weights too.

Workout was 35 minutes, burned 252 calories, did 3130 steps and HR was 130/162.

Back to work, I've been working from home the last two days and thankful we were able to do that. It's nice to get back in the office, though.

Quick check in: surgery went well. I had more discomfort this time around than my first surgery. I am feeling much better now. I guess, it‘s normal to feel some pain after surgery. I also feel nauseous. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow. I will be back tomorrow.

Monday I did CDorner Aerobics and Abs All Standing 80's & 90's high or low 47 minutes, 269 calories, heart rate 134/168, 4,421 steps. I thend did CDorner Mobility for stress, 16 minutes, 34 calories (It was really 30 minutes, but I accidentally stopped my watch.
Tuesday was another day of dealing with cell phone changes. No time for a workout. The day seems kind of vague to me.
Yesterday was my appointment with my cardiologist. Next time they want to do a chemical stress test and get a calcium score. Just to check on things as all seems fine.
Today I watched my grandson but got in a workout since I was up early. I did LMR Upper Body 49 minutes, 167 calories, heart rate 101/146. I finished with LMR Pilates timesaver foam roller, 26 minutes, 53 calories, heart rate 77/103. 75 minutes total time, 220 calories. Tomorrow, I go to get the pulmonary function test done. Probably no workout as it is a long drive and in the morning.

Belinda, I am glad the surgery went well. I hope your follow up goes well.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Kickbox #7. I think I did that one without the ankle weights. It doesn't seem like it would be good for the knees.

Roselyn, nice work on Upper Body.

Jolie, I have not had time to check out Instagram yet. So busy lately. Nice work on Carolyn Girvin Upper Body. It feels good having a president that is taking care of our country again.
