Hardcore Fitness Maniacs January 2025

No workout for me today. It is my DH's birthday and I wanted to let him sleep in. He gets up with me at 4:30 so I figured I'd let him sleep a bit. He turns 60 today. Doesn't seem possible.

Jolie - Great job with your walks and LOL on your puppy!! So funny!

Diane - Great job with your workout yesterday. LOL on how you haven't done it since 2020. Isn't that crazy? We have so many workouts we just do them once it seems and move on. I have my favorites I tend to do all the time, though.

Belinda - It is windy here too. My goodness, we had 50 mph winds the last two days. Thank God our power hasn't gone out. It's still very cold outside. Great job getting a walk in.

Roselyn - Great job on your workouts, you go girl!!

Have a great day everyone!

Belinda, nice work on the on getting in a walk.

Roselyn, nice work on STS Back and Biceps.

Debbie, Happy Birthday to your husband. It seems the years go by faster the older we get. It is hard to believe I am in my 70's and it sure seems like the years are flying by. I have favorite workouts too. I like trying new things here and there though to prevent boredom. I keep meaning to take time and look at the new strength workout that Kelly put up.

Killer workout!! My arms were shaking while I was trying to get ready, really weird.. Total workout was 42 minutes, burned 324 calories, and HR was 134/165.

I loosened my watch band and it seems to have read my HR better.

Diane - Are you getting a weird message on your Garmin app that appears in a yellow box saying they fixed whatever issue they had with some users? That message has been on my app for days, I wish it would go away. Just wondering if you have the same thing happening? And yes, time is flying. It scares me. And it seems my mom is aging very quickly now, I sometimes get sad when I see her struggling just to walk. :(

Have a great workout everyone!!

Today I took the pup for his daily 3.3 mile walk and another 1.6 mile walk this afternoon. He is running around the house like a maniac, this cooler weather has him acting like a lunatic. I guess we will go out again for an early evening walk if I have time. With all of this walking, my legs have really leaned out since Christmas so that is a plus. I got my new Cathe workouts in the mail from College Video, so I am excited to try them out. Tomorrow is a rest day because I have to take my hubby in for surgery in the morning.

Debbie, great job with the arms workout today. 30# 1 Arm rows is impressive, the most I do now days is 25#. I am so scared of pulling something or injuring myself that I just do not do the heavy weights anymore, though I should!

Diane Sue, great job on the workout yesterday. I cannot believe that you are in your 70's!!!! You rock!

Belinda, great job on the walk today and getting some fresh air.

Roselyn, way to go on the workout!

Make it a great day. So sad about the plane crash last night.

This morning I only had time to walk on my treadmill, I had to be to work early. So glad it's Friday!!

Workout was 25 minutes, burned 257 calories, went 1.25 miles, did 2921 steps and HR was 164/186 - NO WAY. Not sure what that reading is all about!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hi,

Today I went for a short walk. It started to rain, had to cut it short. Still had a great time.

My eye appointment went well yesterday. My left eye (surgery was last week) I have 20/20 vision. My right eye needs more time to catch up. Still very happy with the outcome.

Jolie - have fun with your new DVD’s. Which once's did you get?

Diane - nice job on CDorner Arm Sculpt Biceps, Triceps, & shoulders.

Debbie - nice walk on the TM.

Roselyn - great job with your leg and HIIT workout.

I will be back tomorrow.

I forgot to check in yesterday. I did CDorner Step Class #298 Basic Intermediate, 42 minutes, 262 calories followed by LMR Anytime mobility plus a bit of some other stretches, 31 minutes, 85 calories.
Today I did CDorner Cardio Mash Up (kickbox, hi/lo, stretch each 15 minutes), 45 minutes 248 calories, heartrate 126/163, 3,353 steps. I also did LMR timesaver second half Core, 23 minutes, 81 calories. Total time 68 minutes, 329 calories.

Debbie, I did have that box on the Garmin app for a while. I wonder what they did. Nice job on the Raw Burnout upper body yesterday and today's treadmill walk. I have been getting some higher heart rates and a bit better burns the last few days. I wondered if they were going to mess with it again and make that go back down. Yesterday and today I got my heart rate up over 160 which usually does not happen unless I am breathing somewhat harder.

Jolie, good job on the walks. I am sure the pup loves it. Thanks for the compliment.

Belinda, nice work on the walk yesterday and today. That is good news that you got 20/20 vision. I know you are pleased.

Roselyn, nice job on legs and a hiit workout.

Friday my husband had surgery so I have been doing everything around the house by myself which leaves me little time for my workouts except for the dog walks.

Friday, 3.4 miles in the AM. and 1.5 miles in the PM.
Saturday, 4.2 miles in the AM. and 1.3 miles in the PM.
Sunday, 4.1 miles this morning and I will get in another walk this afternoon.

Tomorrow after walking the dog I am going to start lifting weights again, but I have to be very careful of my back issue. I will probably do some sort of upper body circuit slow and controlled. My back still hurts but it is mostly nerve pain. I got stung by a bee yesterday and most of my pain went away. I should get some Bee Venom Therapy if it helps my nerve pain that much and so fast. I hope to get stung again today while I do yard work. There are so many bees right now since it is so warm and we have Lavender growing in our yard, which they love.

Great job with the workouts everyone.
