Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for October 2022!!

I got the results back from my X-ray and it came out perfect! My doctor is sending me to an Orthopedic to possibly get an MRI, maybe there is something wrong with the soft tissue, I do not think so, I think this is all related to my shoulder from sleeping on it. After I found out the results of the X-ray, I adjusted my collar bone myself and it is about 50% better than it was yesterday. If I ended up screwing up, I figure my chiro can adjust it back but actually it is better. The lump is almost gone, so that makes me think that it was mis aligned and it was closing off a pathway and it was causing fluid back up. My shoulder is still sore, but my collar bone was my biggest concern. Thank God it is not a tumor or a cyst.

Today's workout was a TM walk uphill, 45 minutes, traveled 2.6 miles and burned 382 calories. Next, I did a total body workout, x 16 reps, 3 rounds and I went lite weights, I have to build my strength up slowly but surely. Workout time was 1 hour 18 minutes and I burned 559 calories.

Chest Press- 12's x 16, x 16, x 16

Wide Grip Pull Downs- 40# x 16, x 16, x 16

Seated Overhead Shoulder Press- 10's x 16, x 16, x 16

Traditional Bicep Curls- 12's x 16, x 16, x 16

Lying Triceps Ext.- 10's x 16, x 16, x 16

Leg Ext.- 40# x 16, x 16, x 16

ABS- 4 exercises

Great job on the workouts yesterday everyone. Did you know that there is 67 days till Christmas!!! Holy smokes the time is flying by quickly.

Roselyn, Yeah, a baby!!!!

Diane Sue, nice workout yesterday. I am going to load up on Collagen, Turmeric, MSM and anything that supports connective tissue and see how it goes with this Shoulder issue. I am sleeping better; I took and Advil for the first-time last night and boy did that help with the inflammation. I feel like the pain is starting to move out of my shoulder and into my trap and neck. Also, the pain from my arm is moving down into the forearm so that makes me think that my adjustment to the collar bone has done something positive. Aging sometimes can be the pits! How are you feeling lately? Sleeping better?

Debbie, I hope you have a great workout today.

Belinda, I would buy a coat there and then leave it for your niece or sister when you leave so you do not have to lug it around with you while traveling.

Doreen, I hope you have a good workout.

Make it a great day.

We went for a quick weekend camping trip Saturday - Monday. Now something is wrong with my husbands truck... it would kinda slip in the gear traveling up the mountains outside Denver. Always something!!

Last night I figured out how to hook up the Firestick to stream my workouts from my external hard drive. So this morning I did FitSplit Kickbox warm up and then the Legs. The sound was a little off from the video (cathe's mouth was ahead of the sound) Hopefully a re-boot fixes that. And wowza - I knew I hadn't been doing the same level of workout lately but I had to pause a couple times to catch my breath and let my legs thaw out.

Preorder on STS 2.0 starts next Monday. Waiting to see the prices but I'm guessing I'm going to be doing it On Demand.

Hi,

Fuel D28 LB is done.

Debbie - yes, it should be bracelet. Thank you! I thought it was a nice gift too. Something different. DH, Sadie and I fly on Friday. I am excited to see my sisters and family, not looking forward to the funeral. My sister not doing good :( I don't think she will ever be the same. I am sorry you are going through so much with your knees. I am glad you are getting an MRI. I saw my PT today.

Cam - I hope you ok.

Diane - I hope my BIL and nephew like the gift too. The seller was great. German taxes are very high. I haven't been home in years. Great job yesterday.

Good night.

Back on track with workouts this week. My mom went into the hospital with a UTI and Covid, again. My mom usually ends up in the hospital around the holidays. It just never ends. She has had covid twice and 3 UTIs in the past year and a half. She was on oxygen for 2 days and is off oxygen and breathing well on her own. She is on antibiotics and the covid med redisavere. Not sure of the spelling. I can't see her as she is in Isolation, but she is so loopy anyway. Ugh! This time she is showing more anger. She has no idea what is going on and talks nonsense. I just know, though, she will be worse now and I hope she will be able to go back to assisted living but this time, I'm doubtful. I hate rehab and I think that will be her next stop. I'm sure the hospital will kick her out in the next couple days.

Sunday I did a CDorner Int-Adv. Step 80's. It was a fun one
Monday, Tracy Full Body Strength Upper, Lower, Both. A goodie
Tonight, Penny 30 min. All Standing Full Body Dumbbell Hiit No Repeat. This sure packed a punch. We also took our dog for a 1.5 mile blustery, cold walk. She loves this weather. Glad she's happy. Warming up this weekend.

Debbie and Jolie, an MRI will get you some answers. I hope you like your Ortho as much as I did. He sure fixed me and it feels good to workout without pain.

Doreen, I hear you on the "It's always something." You aren't kidding.

Tomorrow I think I will do a CDorner mobility stretch.

No workout today. It took me an hour to get to my dentist and an hour back as well as the time in the office. My allergies and are bad right now and sinuses itch. I took two allegra, flonase, cough syrup, and throat lozenges. I was so sleepy by the time I got home and took a nap. They did took a lot of images today in my mouth. It always makes me want to gag. After it was all over the dentist said we need to replace one of the old crowns. I told them I will call them when I am ready to do it. I would like to have my allergies under control a little and do not want to be making multiple trips on winter roads. Maybe I will wait till spring! I have errands to do early tomorrow, but if I am lucky I will wake early enough to get a workout in.
My husband ordered me some leggings and top that I had on my Amazon list from CDorners website. I like them a lot.

Debbie, I am glad you liked the box and sit workout. You did great with it. I did the Boxing and Legs #2 which I have done before. I liked it a lot. I figured using it with the other new one with the step higher worked my legs pretty good. I used one less riser than they did. I think the first one is the virtual Box and Legs which I have done once. I like the Boxing and Legs #2. I hardly remember the first one. Ibuprofen makes me sleepy when I take a lot of it. It really helps to be able to get up and move even if we can't work out like we normally do.
The mri is a good idea as it will let you know what you are dealing with and could be peace of mind knowing it is something you can take care of yourself. I am sorry you have to wait to get the mri.

Jolie, that is good news that the x-ray was good news and that the lump is going away. I very seldom let myself run out of collagen, and Curcumin/Tumeric, along with Glucosamine chondroitin and Boswellia. I have been using Osteobiflex that has the 5 Lox Boswellia in it lately and have repurchased as it seems helpful. I just ordered the Jarrow Bone Up after you mentioning it. It is very similar to the Life Extension Bone Restore. I think one of the differences was in the type of Calcium, as Bone Restore has 3 types of calcium. Personally, I rather like bisglycinate. Same with magnesium I would rather use glycinate as my main magnesium. I think the bottle of Jarrow will last me longer than the 30 servings I get out of the bottle of Life Extension even though Jarrow is 6 capsules a day and Life Extension is 4. I think that Jarrow has less K2 in it as Bone restore has 200 mcg in 4. I think 6 capsules of Bone Up is 45??
I wish I could sleep. I woke too early this morning, but again it was a day I had to get up early. SLeep is a challenge finding ways to not aggravate my neck, which so far lately has been good as long as I sleep on my back with my pillow that has a slight round for the neck. Odd though that when I went to sleeping on my back my low back starts aching unless I keep the wedge under my legs. I have to put a small pillow behind my mid back to take the pressure off the left side of the sternum and rib cage. So, I think I spend a lot of time stressing over keeping everything in place while sleeping. I used to always sleep on my left side. Those habits are hard to break. It is weird how pain moves to other areas. I think it is the way pain travels up nerves as other things move around. Interesting about your forearm. I had some sort of snapping in my shoulder last week and this week I have felt like little stinging feeling running up around the underside of my wrist and forearm. I thought it was probably from the boxing I did.

Doreen, it seems it is always something. I hope you can get the truck fixed at a reasonable price. That is interesting that you can hook your firestick to your external drive to stream your workouts.

Belinda, nice work on Fuel day #28 LB today. I know you are going to enjoy seeing family again and home.

Cam, I am happy to hear from you. I am so sorry about your mother. I know that is rough seeing her like that and knowing she will probably be worse off.
Nice job on the workouts you have done.

This morning I did RAW 4-Day Split Bi's & Tri's. Had a great workout. Had a great workout, love this one and how quick it goes by. My knee is much better today, but still swollen. It's so weird, I can't even explain how it feels. I have an MRI appointment for Nov. 3. By then it will probably be much better. I'm still going, though, because there is an underlying problem that keeps making it swell.

1 minute each exercises

Biceps
Supinated Curls
: 15's
W Curl to Rotate to Front: 10's
Hammer Curls: 10's (slow 4 counts up and down)
Bicep burnout w/Tube - I don't like tubing exercises because it seems like they really put a strain on my elbows for some reason. I used 5's and just did a burnout set that way)
Repeat

Triceps
Overhead Triceps Extensions:
15#
Kickbacks: 8's
Dips - Did these for a change
Kickbacks w/Tubing - Did this as well
Repeat

Workout was 32 minutes, burned 178 calories, HR was 107/137.

We lost power last night for about 5 minutes and when I walked into my workout room my treadmill screen was on. WTH? It doesn't come on unless the key is attached and it wasn't. I attached the key and it calibrated but when I pulled the key off, the screen would not go off. Not sure what happened to it. It does work, but won't shut off. I will reset it when I get home with a paper clip.

Jolie - I don't think you are seeing our posts (or at least mine), it's weird because when you post to me you are commenting on the day before. Just wanted to give you a heads up, not sure if your app or computer is doing something weird to you. I'm glad you have figured out what is wrong with your collar bone. Hoperfully it will heal now and just go away. Good job on the workout, you did awesome!!

Doreen - Sorry about your husbands truck, it's always something. I just had to shell out $777 for tires! Geez, they used to cost about $250 for a set, what the heck happened! Great job on your workout.

Belinda - So sorry to hear about your sister, I'm sure she is heartbroken. That has to be the hardest thing in the world is to lose a child. Good job on your workout.

Cam - Glad to see you are back but so sorry to hear about your mom. How old is your mom? I can't believe she got Covid again, that is not good. I hope she recovers soon, that has to be hard on everyone involved. Great job keeping up with your workouts!

Diane - Your husband is cool ordering you stuff you put in your cart. LOL! I've never heard that before, but I know you have mentioned this a couple times. So cool of him! Sorry you have allergies again, boy, they are relentless for you. I hope you are feeing better today. I am looking forward to finding out what the cause is to this knee pain. It's getting old.

Roselyn - Good job on the workout!

Roxie - Where are you?

Have a great day everyone!

Today I had a fantastic workout. I started with a TM walk uphill, 45 minutes, traveled 2.5 miles and burned 409 calories. Next, I did a total body circuit like yesterday but with different exercises, x 16 reps except for squats I did x 25 reps and I skipped abs. Total workout time was 1 hour and 14 minutes and I burned 577 calories.

Incline Chest Press- 12's x 16 (3 rounds of the circuit)

Narrow Grip Cable Rows- 40# x 16

1 Arm Lat Raise- 8# x 16

Hammer Curls- 12's x 16

Lying Cross Body Triceps Ext.- 10# x 16

BW Squats- x 25

These weights were super lite, but I do not want to push this shoulder issue till it is 100%. I will be gradually increasing the weights but not this week. I slept much better last night, the Advil really works, the inflammation is down in the morning and so is the pain.

Debbie, I was not seeing your posts for 2 days and I found out that I was ignoring your posts, somehow, I must have done something wrong. Now I see your posts, but I am not sure why I am not on the same day as you? I have an ortho appointment on the same day as your MRI. I would like an MRI so I can be certain nothing terrible is wrong with my shoulder and or collar bone. Great job on the workout today, bummer about your knee. I am so sick of this shit!!!!!!!!! We have been plagued with the worst issues lately, if it is not one thing it is another! Hang in there and take it slow.

Belinda, great job getting in a workout with so much on your mind lately. It should really help with the stress of the whole situation. When my brother died at 25 years old, it damn near killed my parents. Somehow time makes the pain bearable and when grand kids are born it really takes the sting out of their lives.

Diane Sue, I sure hope you slept well last night, and I hope you have a great workout today!

Doreen, The camping trip sounds like fun except for the truck issue!

Cam, I feel for you with the issues you are having with your mom. My dad is 89 and my mom is turning 86 and I am sure I will be in the same situation down the road. Thank goodness my parents are in great health. Also, they have long term care so they will be able to stay in their home with helpers as long as they want.

Roselyn, way to go with the workout!

Make it a great day, 90 degrees here today!!!

Good Morning,

I did BeachBody Country Heat Country Swing I am trying to stay active but really need to figure out to do weight and Ab work without lying down I can’t even do push-ups.

Debbie- I wasn’t born with this condition but heart disease is in my family along with tachycardia and pacemakers. My heart rate has run high for awhile I would sometimes stop while working out but this year with the heat lack of exer not drinking enough it just got worse.

I did a recovery ride this morning because I didn't have the energy to do more. I was up late helping my daughter with her homework. She waits until she's in tears and then its hard to figure out what she's trying to do.

Belinda I hope your trip is enjoyable despite the circumstances.

Roxie - good job trying to stay active anyway you can!

Jolie - good job on your workout - hopefully the Advil keeps helping keep the pain down. 90Degrees! I don't think I would like that in the fall!

Diane - I don't think I would want my husband buying stuff from my Amazon cart! I sometime put stuff in there just to "think on it" and then later talk myself out of it. But I'm wanting some more cozy hoodies for this winter. Its cold in the workout room so I always wear one through warm-up before taking it off. Then I leave them downstairs and can't find them the next morning!

Today I got up and went to take some shirts my husband for UPS pickup and then went to Walmart to pick up a turkey for Thanksgiving and a few things I needed and did not want to order on delivery. Then I came home and did CDorner Cardio Step Aerobics Int/Adv 31 minutes, 135 calories, heart rate 116/144, 2,118 steps. I had a hard time getting my heart rate up with this one. It kept telling me I was in my easy zone on my Garmin. I was sweating and it is cold today. It will warm back up, but in the 30's last night.
I then did her Mindful Mobility Practice, 31 minutes, 51 calories, heart rate 79/100. This one was larger motion mobility and she spent quite a bit of time on the neck and shoulders. There were a few different moves. I liked it even though some of the moves were a bit difficult for me. I am so stiff most of the time. No down dogs in this one. She starts outstanding. Total time was 62 minutes, 186 calories, 2,131 steps.

Hi everyone,

Today I did Fuel Day 29 Full Body. One more workout and I am done with my 2nd round of Fuel.

House is clean when we return. I been cleaning all day long. Why do I have a huge house? Tomorrow we can relax a little before we fly on Friday. I plan on getting a nice walk in tomorrow.

Jolie - I am afraid my sister will never be the same. Losing a child is probably the hardest for a mother. I talk to my sister every day, the pain is unbearable. I feel so bad for her. Like Debbie said, losing a child is the hardest in the world for a mother. Miss talking to my niece. My niece planned on coming and visit me next year :(

Doreen - thank you. The funeral is next week on the 27th. Great job on your workout.

Debbie - thank you of your kind words. Yes, that has to be the hardest thing in the world to lose a child.
Good job on your workout.

Cam - I am glad you are back. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I will keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers. Great job on your workout.

Diane - I hope your dental appointment went well yesterday. I would wait to until you're get your allergies under control. Your husband is a keeper. That was very sweet of him to order you the leggings and top. I am very excited to see my sisters and their family. I was born and raised in Nürnberg which I haven't visit in a few years. My DD already made a list of things she wants to do in Nürnberg. She wants to eat Germany food that you can't get here in the US and shop on the "Fußgängerzone" in English pedestrian zone ? You can walk for hours and never see the same store, lol. I know I will get lots of steps. We have an imperial castle in Nürnberg, my son probably want to visit.

Roxie and Rosely - great job with your workouts.

Good night.

I think that a couple of the moves in the mobility today has made my neck hurt. I thought I should not do it and did it anyway. One she was holding the head up an inch off the floor and I thought that would not be good. She said it strengthens the neck. Also, she was tilting her head way back and rolling it around and I have always found that to aggravate. I can move my head around, but slowly and not in one dull movement. Maybe it is just me. I should have stopped as soon as I knew it was uncomfortable.
My flat iron quit working on me. I had to hold the cord sideways to keep it on and soon as I would let go it would turn back off. This was the second Amika one that I have purchased, and I have decided I am not paying 135 dollars again for a flat iron. The cord rotates and wears out inside somewhere. My husband said to get another, and I ordered a Chi which I have had before. I was looking for a tourmaline one and found a purple one. The last Chi I had used catch on my hair and pull it out. Hopefully this one does not do that.

Debbie, nice work on the weights today. I am glad your knee is feeling better. You are right, it probably will continue to get better, but that is because you are being careful. The mri is a good idea. I know we don't like to do those things. I have had my tread climber do that. Before we moved here I had it on a single surge protector for that reason. I was always worried a surge would ruin it. Usually unplugging it and plugging it back in would make it right again. My allergies are pretty much all year. Just sometimes it is so bad I cannot get anything to help. Someday if I can ever iron out all of my other issues, I might try an allergy clinic. I just hate to get started going to another physician. My doctor has offered stuff that did not help. I had allergy tests a long time ago and cannot remember what they came up with. I just know I was relieved that it was not my dogs. I am thinking maybe just before spring hits might be a good time for the crown.

Jolie, I am glad you slept better, and things have improved. You did great on the weights today and your treadmill climb. It is wise to go back at the weights slowly. I got more rest last night. I took one Relaxium Sleep instead of the recommended 2 and I slept pretty well.

Belinda, there was a restaurant here that we used to go to with friends Called Old Germany Restaurant that served authentic German food for 42 years. They also had a tavern. I think three years ago they announced closing their doors. It was owned by a German Family that had moved to Oklahoma in the 70's. The food was really good. Nice work with Fuel Day 29 Full Body. You know, I had the great big house we lived in before moving back to Oklahoma City and I was so relieved when we got a smaller house. I used to divide parts of the house for different cleaning days. It was impossible to get all levels cleaned in one day. Same with the big yard and trying to keep it up. I used to love touring castles when we lived in England and imagining how life would be in one. Although some of those stone narrow winding staircases were kind of treacherous.

Roxie, good for you trying to stay active. It would be a challenge to find workouts that are all upright.

Doreen, that is nice your daughter has you to help her with her schoolwork. I remember those times with my children. I have different lists on Amazon so one is the "wish list" one is food, one is save and compare, and one is called meds for my vitamins and supplements. My husband has no interest in those. He just looks at the history and my wish list. When I am looking, I make sure and go back and clear my history so I don't get something I do not want. And that is partly because with the history I will sometimes get some item recommended from Amazon on my phone and click on it and it is not something I want at all so I am quick to clear it off of there. Ha, one time they sent me a picture of mens skinny purple jeans. I thought my husband would never wear something like that I do not know why they recommended it.

I think we need to rename this checkin group to "Hardcore Geriatrics Fitness Maniacs!"

LOL!! Today I did RAW 1 Body Part - Shoulders and had a great workout. This is a good one but she does the exercises all in a row with not rest. She uses 20's for the first two exercises so why she didn't rest between them is beyond me. I did. Anyways, good workout.

4 sets/8 reps
Upright Row: 30# BB
Overhead Press: 12's
Lateral Raise: 10's
Bent Over Lateral Raise: 10's
Front Raise: 10's
Each exercise done one right after the other. She repeats this for 4 total sets.

Finisher: All exercises in a row using 10's

Then I did the RAW Eggweights Finisher - Love this finisher, short and sweet and no jumping. I used my 2# dumbbells for this.

Total workout time was 48 minutes, burned 387 calories, HR was 130/171. Still taking Ibuprofin and Tylenol so that raises my HR. My knee is ok today but now that I'm sitting at work it's starting to swell again. WTF??

Jolie - I thought you were ignoring me again! o_O Weird how that keeps happening. Great job with your workout yesterday, you killed it once again! I hope you can schedule an MRI, I had to jump through hoops before I could get mine scheduled. My doctor did an X-ray then told me I had to do PT, which I did and now they can schedule the MRI. The doctor might tell you the same thing. I agree, we have had some crazy stuff happen to us lately. We're supposed to be in the best shape, why is our bodies doing this to us?

Roxie - Why can't you lay down right now or do pushups? I must have missed something you said earlier. Sorry you are going through all that.

Belinda - Good job on your Fuel workouts. Good luck with your travels tomorrow. We'll be thinking of you.

Diane - I have a hard time bringing myself to use hot irons on my hair. I used to use them because my hair is very curly now, but the damage I was doing to it wasn't worth it. Now I embrace my curls and love them, especially since I've let my hair grow out. It's to my shoulders now and I love the way it looks. I've spent a lot of money on a flat iron and the hair dryers that straighten your hair. I bought the ones from L'Ange and they are awesone but I just didn't like how dry my hair was getting and breaking at the ends. I will definitely get the MRI, I've met my deductible this year so why not? I need to see what is going on with this knee. I still can't get my treadmill to shut off, I'll have to have my husband look at it this weekend.

Well, I hope you all have a great workout and day!

No workout today, I am exhausted from this high heat and do not want to workout dripping wet again so I am taking a rest day. Tomorrow we are supposed to have a big dip in the temps so I am happy about that! I have to go back in this morning and have another x-ray because they said it did not come out good even though they gave me the results a few days ago. I know they do not want to do an MRI because of the cost so they will try to rule out everything they can on the x-ray. Yesterday it got to 96 degree and i did not sleep well even with the air conditioner on all night. This is very typical of October in Southern CA.

Debbie, I love the name that you gave our thread!!!! :) Seriously, that should be the name now! Great job on the workout today, that looks fun. 10's would be hard for me on front raises since I have lost so much strength in the last few years. I hate going through all of this shit with our bodies, I am tired of it. I watched some Youtube videos last night and my issue is probably from sleeping and then chest press and chest flys can aggravate it. I will put chest flys on hold till I am feeling perfect. Call customer service about your treadmill, there is probably an easy solution. Look on a forum maybe for some answers.

Belinda, great job getting the house cleaned and working out before your trip, I bet there is lots to do.

Roxie, good job with the new workout you are doing, it is better than nothing. Also, it sounds fun.

Diane Sue, I hope you slept well last night. I would kill for it to cool off here and open my windows at night and sleep under a quilt. Nice job on the workouts lately, I am amazed how heavy you can lift after a surgery like you had, but i guess it has almost been a year now so you should be well on your way to recovery.

Everyone is doing great with their workouts!!!

I overslept my alarm but decided to workout anyway. I did Lite PHA. It been so long since I've done all these that they seem new again! I spent too much time last night scrolling through the ifit app. There are so many programs I would love to try out all over the world!! I wish I had more time and that their strength workouts were more advanced. I guess I'll have to do Ifit for my bike and everybody else for strength workouts and I'll never earn their rewards!

Today I did CDorner Cardio Boxing and Abs, 42 minutes, 178 calories, heart rate 114/143, 3088 steps. I used 2# dumbbells for the ab segments which were all standing and one move side plank lifts I did the standing option for. I then did CDorner 25 minutes, toned and defined arms (biceps/triceps/shoulders) 24:34 minutes, 81 calories, heart rate 102/133. I finished with CDorner Beach stretch and added some foam rolling to it for 19 minutes, 29 calories. Total time was 85 minutes, 288 calories.
My neck hurt on one side all night and I think it was like a nerve or something as it was stinging up from the neck to the back of my head. Advil was not working very well as I kept trying to find a position that would make it stop. I woke and took more Advil and went back to sleep with an ice pack. It feels much better now. I tried to be careful with my exercise choices today.

CDorner 25 minute toned and defined arms
each move is done for 45 seconds 3 rounds and 1 final round with iso moves
Chris uses 20# as her highest weights. For the most part I was using lighter than she did.

front curls 4/4 count 15# dbs
upright row 12# dbs
bentover kickbacks 12# dbs
curl and press combined 10# dbs

front curl pulses 12# dbs and I dropped to 10's after several reps

hammer curls 12# dbs
upright row/palms down front fraise 8# dbs
triceps palms facing forward with a turn (twist) 8# dbs
half hammer curl/lateral raise/ hammer down release 10# dbs

iso moves hammer/hold alternate slow while other holding finishing with a hold
iso move skull crusher lying on the floor hold/ alternate slow and hold

stretch

Debbie, lol on Hardcore Geriatrics. We are all maniacs or we wouldn't keep at it while nursing all of the issues. I am sorry your knee swelled at work. Nice work with the upper weights and boxing finisher. Sometimes I am amazed with Kelly and her heavy weights. Like that one cardio finisher where she picks up a 20 and starts doing snatches. No rest in between would be rough and I am afraid I would injure myself.
I let my hair air dry the other day and it had waves all over except the top layer which laid flat. It started frizzing so I put some of my hair help stuff on it. My husband asked why I didn't fix it. I can get smooth hair with blow drying. I use the flat iron if I have some piece that has a mind of it's own. I always dry with low temp and never hike the flat iron up high. I take days off from the flat iron if I am not going out of the house or having company. I had chosen the Amika because when I asked at Beauty Brands they recommended the one I got for my fine thin hair type. I don't seem to get much breakage like I did with my older ones. I am a bit apprehensive about the Chi one.
I am sorry your treadmill still will not turn on. I hope that you can figure it out. We had to find someone for the Tread Climber once. It was just past the warranty we had purchased. It cost us a lot, but we have had several years use since. I was determined to fix it as my husband was using it all of the time.

Jolie, the 90's would be too hot. It is miserable when we cannot sleep. I hope your x-ray is okay. I wonder why they told you it was good and now you need to do it again. I guess they want to be sure? Insurance companies always push for X-ray first so maybe they can skip the mri.
It will be 1 year post surgery December 22. I am still using lighter than I did before. Hoping I am building up some bone and the weight training will help. They were pretty quick with me moving into some strength training in PT. Doctors want me to strengthen my hips as I have lost bone density. I hope I can correct it with supplements and workouts. I am using the Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth protein every evening along with drinking and using bone broth in recipes and taking collagen in my coffee every morning.

Doreen, would it be possible to do the ifit strength and up the weights or add weights to the workouts? That way they would count? Good for you going ahead with a workout. If I went back to some of the Cathe workouts it would feel new again too. I think over the last couple of years I have just used the band work and add ons to get in a lower or upper workout.

Good Evening,

I did BeachBody Let’s Get Up Feel Good workout with Shaun T and had an awesome workout. For some reason I have tomorrow off so I am going to see my mom and have lunch with her and my sister.

Debbie-I agree with the name change. I can’ go from standing to laying or vice versa without getting dizzy because of the change in blood pressure it drops to fast.

Diane-I use the round blow dryer brush it’s so handy and makes my hair have volume, I have very fine thin hair that has no volume.
