Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for October 2022!!

Evening,

I had all indentions to workout today. I walked outside today.

DH and I been on the phone/surging online for flights to Germany. We couldn't find a seat. What a headache. The flights are so expensive if you book a week out and the plans to Germany are full. Anyway, thanks for DD we got flights. I don't know how she found fights for next week. We will fly to Germany next Friday on the 21. I was going to stay at least 2 weeks, the price jumped 2K each. Insane!! Instead of fighting on the 21st to Nov 3red. We only stay 9 day's in Germany. 2K each for 2 extra day's its insane. My son and DD are going to the funeral too.

I will catch up on personals in the morning. Good night.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw 10 minute Total Body suggested for a quick workout, finisher , or warm up. I think it is actually 15 minutes, but it took me 19 minutes as I wrote the moves down. heart rate was 99/126, 62 calories. I then did Raw Box and Pump 7 heart rate 108/146, 33 minutes, 119 calories. Debbie, I hope you got through today without swelling and pain.

Doreen, your dog will probably learn eventually. Although mine is 9 years old and she will still occasionally get excited when I am working out and bring a toy in wanting me to play. I think I have accidentally stepped on her tail or bumped into her enough times that she kind of avoids it when I am doing things like step workouts. As soon as I get out the step she leaves. Not enough room here for us both. The other house she had her bed in the corner and would not get in the way. Well, she does love it when I jump on the rebounder. Everything she can get lands on the rebounder with me. When I do something lying on the floor she comes in and has to try to lie right next to me. Makes it hard to stretch out my arms or do flys.

Jolie, great workout. I wish I felt energetic. I am tired all of the time lately. Even if I manage to sleep. I took Relaxium Sleep the last two nights and ended up waking up multiple times. I got some B12 from Walmart with my grocery order to take till I get a good quality product. I am going to have to order some. I have not been eating much in the way of meat or poultry, so I am probably not getting enough. There are not a lot of other food sources of B12 that the body can absorb.
Maybe whatever is going on with your shoulder will clear up. I am glad it was better.

Belinda, I wondered how easy it would be to get a flight. I hope it all goes well for you. I am glad your daughter was able to help find tickets.

Roselyn, nice work with Carolyn Girvin and the posterior chain work.

No workout for me today either, my knee was very swollen last night. I walked 11,000 steps yesterday with setting up the banquet and then being there that evening. It went great, though!! I love this particular event, but drivers do not get enough recognition.

No time for personals but I have read all your updates. Great job to all on your workouts!! Have a fabulous weekend and hopefully by Monday I can workout again. Fingers crossed!

Good morning,

FUEL Series 30 Min Dumbbell Full Body CORE Workout | Day 24 is done.

Debbie - glad your event went well yesterday. Sorry about your knees.

Diane - a few day's ago, flights were easy to get. Without all the paperwork we need to fly oversees, it was hard to schedule a light. I am also not flying coach, we are flying Delta one. Gives us a little more space since I bring a carrier for Sadie.

Doreen - to answer your question. I probably will not workout while I am in Germany. I will enjoy Nuremberg where I am from and my family. All my family are in the area. I am there for my sister, BIL and nephew. I will see my sisters and nieces. My DD and son will fly to Germany for the funeral.

I will be back later.

No workout today, I am off to the Chiro to get this collar bone issue fixed. I think that I have figured what the problem is from researching about it most of the day yesterday. I have found pictures and explanations of the issue that are identical to my symptoms and the picture is exactly the same too. It is called Sternoclavicular joint injury and instability. Basically, the collar bone is dislocated and there is soft tissue damage from it being out and causing the lump and the pain. I will have my chiro muscle test me to see if it is out and she can surely put it back in about 5 seconds if need be. I will also have an x-ray done on it Monday morning; my doctor finally got me an appointment!!! Fingers crossed this is the issue and not something really bad. I know this is from how I sleep on my side since I hurt my back last February and my mattress is much too hard for sleeping on the side. If this is the issue, I will look into getting Prolotherapy injections with stem cells and Plasma therapy as well to speed up the healing process. What a nightmare but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel! I could walk this morning, but I have too much on my mind to focus on a workout.

Great workouts yesterday everyone!!!!

Today I did CDorner Low Impact or High Impact mash up, 42 minutes, 218 calories, heart rate 128/163, 3,975 steps. I also did CDorner Easy Back stretch from 7 months ago, (lower back refresh) 17 minutes, 82/102 heart rate, 24 calories and her Neck and Upper Back Stretch from 7 months ago, 19 minutes, 31 calories, heart rate 78/90. This last one is one I just get tired of the conversation about the dream and pink tennis shoes. She says that back one she did 3 times a day when she hurt her back. I was hurting around my ribs all night. I had a feeling my workout choice yesterday was not good.

Debbie, I am glad that your event went well. 11,000 steps are a lot of time on your feet. Take care and rest this weekend.

Belinda, it will be good for you to take advantage of the time you have with family. I am glad you got the flight arranged and how you need it.

Jolie, I hope you are right, and it is an easy fix. I did the same thing with this rib and chest pain. I am sure it is coscochondritis. I will probably mention it to my arthritis doctor when I go in a couple of weeks. For the most part they do not test for it, but may check to make sure it is not due to a heart problem, which is not likely. They just rule that out as the pain is on the left side, but it is different. It started in the sternum after surgery and moved further left into the bones lying under and to the side of my breast. Hurts to lie down. weight lifting and exercise can set it off. It often goes away on it's own. I sometimes think it is gone and do something that sets if all off again. I won't take other meds mentioned on Mayo clinic. The main thing is to get the inflammation down. Oh, and also it can be set off with Rheumatoid arthritis. I read one lady that said hers was set off badly after an elliptical workout.

Roselyn nice job today.

Good Afternoon,

Sorry for being MIA. DH and I were on vacation last week took the camper to the lake and did a lot of walking while we were there. I got the results from my EPatch and it has been determined I have tachycardia so I am on a medication to control my heart rate but unfortunately it lowers my already low blood pressure so I have to keep taking the other medication to increase my blood pressure and the pharmacist told me I would feel like crap for the first week but to stick it out because it gets better and boy she wasn’t kidding I have taken it for 3 days now and I feel horrible. Trying to get back into an exercise routine since I don’t have any restrictions but it’s hard to do right now.

Hi everyone,

FUEL Series 30 Min Full Body DUMBBELL HIIT CARDIO Workout | Day 25 is done. I will try to double up tomorrow.

I am slowly packing my suitcase. My plan is not too overpack. I plan on bring stuff back :) My family have washer/dryers. No need to pack like crazy. My sisters are telling me to bring winter clothes :( I also have to pack warm clothes for Sadie. My younger sister has a dog stroller. I will get a rental car so I can drive my old sister, BIL to the funeral and whatever they need/or want to go. They all offered us their cars.

Diane - we tried to get a direct flight, everything was booked out. My DD is keeping an eye on the flights. Maybe something will change next week. We fly from DC to Boston. From Boston to Amsterdam from Amsterdam to Nuremberg. The flight is 24 h. I am going to be dead. I hope I sleep on the plan, usually I can't sleep. Great job on your workout.

Jolie - all my family lives in Nuremberg. They all excited I see me. Some of my cousins I haven't seen in years. My sisters are planning my day's. I will stay with my older sister her daughter just passed. I doubt I have time working out.

Roxie - I hope you feel better soon. Hang in there.

Waving Hi to the rest of the way.

Today I did CDorner Step Workout #242, 62 minutes, heart rate 113/161, 250 calories. I then did CDorner Do Anywhere Gorgeous toned arms 27 minutes, 65 calories, heart rate 87/118. This was done with loop bands and Chris used her extra heavy bands. I used the Cathe Heavy and Extra Heavy band. I liked it. It was not an easy workout. She works back with rows and arms also 1 set of slow count pushups. I finished with CDorner Beach wake Up morning stretch, 11 minutes, 15 calories.
Total time was1hour 40 minutes, 330 calories.

Roxie, I hope you start feeling better soon.

Belinda, I often wonder why I take so much when I go on a trip because I always come home with extra stuff. That is a long time sitting in airports and on a plane. Winter clothes take up more room. I hope something comes up so you can get a straight flight. Nice workout today with Fuel Dumbbell Hiit Cardio.

When I went to the Chiro on Friday, this is what we found to be part or all of the problem. Collar Bone out of alignment, as well as my shoulder blade, arm, Sternum and I forget the rest. Day 2 from my adjustment and the lump has gone down by half but it is tender. I have put DMSO on it and that helps with the inflammation and the pain. I think today I will ice it and see what happens. Tomorrow I will be at the doctors to get an Xray just to make sure the lump isnt something bad and to see if the SI Joint in the collar bone has a slight seperation/dislocation, which I am sure it does not. There would be no way I could kickbox and weight lift if there was that much damage to the joint. I slept so much better last night and I could sleep on my shoulder with no pain, however I am sore today.

Today's workout was an uphill walk on the TM, 65 minutes, traveled 3.5 miles and burn 587 calories. I did not swing my arms much because I do not want to irritate my issue. Tomorrow will be no workout, I am anxious to see what my doctor says about all this.

Great workouts the last two days everyone! Belinda, safe travels.

Evening,

Fuel Day 26 LB is done. Four more workouts and I am done with Fuel.

I packed my suitcase today, which took me a long time. I couldn't decide what to bring. Tomorrow I will start cleaning my house. I decided to leave my winter jacket at home.

Diane - if I would have booked our flight a few days before or even a week, we could have gotten a direct flight to Munich and then to Nürnberg. I was born and raised in Nürnberg. I miss it, especially the food. I can't wait to see my sisters and family. Haven't seen them in years. Not looking forward to my nieces funeral. I posted a picture of my niece on FB.

Jolie - I will fly on Friday. Thank you. Glad the Chiro can help. Nice job on your workout.

Good night.

My knee is really bad, I have a call into my doctors to see what the next steps are. I could hardly move on Saturday, I just relaxed and iced it. I can move around better today but it certainly isn't gettng much better. :(

This morning I did RAW 4 Day Split Chest and Back and had a great workout. I did well with it did most of the standing work she did sitting..

This was 1 minute per exercise going slow and controlled.

BACK
Lat Pulldown
: 10's (this was done standing, I sat)
Reverse Pec Deck or Scap Squeeze: 8's (ditto, sat for this one too)
Lawn Mower: 20#
Repeat

CHEST
Moderated Pullover/Close Grip Press
: 12's
W Bench Press: 12's (this is tough)
Dumbbell Flies: 15's
Repeat

I then did the RAW Abs Finisher and used an 8# dumbbell and an 8# med ball for it. This is half standing half sitting and she works out to both her sons songs. It's funny because the 2nd song has swearing in it so she makes noises to cover it up. Quite honestly, you can understand one word through the entire song anyways. LOL!

Workout was 47 minutes, burned 286 calories, did 700 steps and HR was 112/144.

Belinda - Are you taking Sadie to Germany with you? Hope you have safe travels. Prayers to you and your family!

Good job with your workouts this weekend!! Hope I can start doing cardio again soon, I am so upset about this. I was FINE on Tuesday, I have no idea what could be causing this with my knee. Hopefully I'll find out soon.

Have a great day!!

Hi everyone,

FUEL Series 30 Min TEMPO - Shoulders, Chest & Triceps Workout | Day 27 is done.

I didn't know what to give for a sympathy/memorial gift to my family? I been surging online, everything was like see you in heaven :( I didn't wanted anything with the date/name on it either. I came across those morse code bracelet? Etsy. I wanted something that connects my BIL and nephew to my niece, but not something that too obvious. The seller from Turkey. He is very nice and very helpful. I emailed back and forth with the seller to figure out how to get on the bracelet what I wanted to say. You only can use so many characters in each brackets. I learned a lot about morse codes today, lol. The seller will ship the bracelet to Germany. I had to pay extra for import taxes which was 19%. I forgot how high German taxes were :( I hope they will arrive before the funeral.

Diane - I am still taking stuff out of my suitcase, lol. I can't pack all my meds like the Humira, I have to keep in the fridge until I leave the house on Friday. I have to keep it cold on the plane too. I plan on buying stuff in Germany. Thanks, I hope they can figure out the flight too. Great job with your workout.

Debbie - sorry about your knees. I hope your doctor can figure out what's causing the swelling. Yes, Sadie is going with us to Germany. I think she will be a good comfort for my sister, BIL and nephew.

Good job, everyone.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Cardio Core Fusion, 36 minutes, heart rate 120/158, 167 calories, 1,702 steps. I then did Raw Boxing and Legs 2, 34 minutes, heart rate 141/160, 203 calories, 1,812 steps.
This was 70 minutes, 370 calories, 3,514 steps. I also did my own mix of stretching and using the foam roller to loosen up. I liked the Cardio Core Fusion. It is low impact, but they use a step with 4 risers. To take it down she suggest less risers and to increase use a weighted vest or weights.

Coffey Fit Raw Cardio Core Fusion 33:36 minutes
Step with 4 risers used and easy to follow. Suggestion to lower step height to take it down a bit or add weighted vest or weights to give even more of a challenge.

Plank knee to wrist/elbow /wrist alternating sides

right leg step up tap
right leg rocking horse
ab seated on step knee pulls

left leg step up tap
left leg rocking horse
ab seated on step knee pulls

plank on step leg lifts alternating
reverse lunge alternating off step with arms held straight forward alternating
straddle step up tap out right
core boxing punches

plank on step leg lifts alternating
reverse lunge off step arms held straight forward alternating
straddle step up tap out left
core boxing and punches

repeat all moves from the top
cooldown and stretch

Jolie, thinking about you. I hope the x-ray was helpful today.

Belinda, it would be hard thinking of something special like that because of what the gift is for. I am glad you had a seller that was helpful. 19% tax is a lot. Having to keep your meds cold would be hard. I am sure you will enjoy the food.
Nice work with Fuel Tempo shoulders, chest and triceps.

Debbie, I am so sorry about your knee. I wonder what is causing all of that anyway. I am glad that you were able to get a workout in for upper body. I think Kelly has a seated upper Body workout for those with lower body limitations and a box sit workout. Just in case you need to stay off your feet.

Where is Cam at? Did she say she was going to be gone?

Roseyln, I bet you are excited for the baby to come. I bet the shower was fun. Nice work today on Iron Series Hamstrings and Glutes.

This morning I did RAW BoxSIT and OMG, what a great little workout this is. I wanted to get some cardio in but obviously I can't jump around for a while. I remember seeing this on the RAW channel and thought I'd try it. It was truly a great workout. It got my HR up to 160-175!! Maybe my HR was elevated a bit because I'm living on Ibuprofin, but still. I was sweating like crazy by the time I was done with the workout. She just has you sitting and doing boxing moves and really concentrating on the abs. My abs are sore from yesterday's workout so I really felt it today. I used my 2# dumbbells for this workout. I also did a 3 minutes warmup with one of the short clips Kelly has but didn't need it. She has a good warmup in this workout as well.

Workout was 35 minutes, burned 335 calories (holy moly!!), did 2472 steps and HR 146/180. My HR doesn't get up that high when I run so I do think it is the meds I'm on right now. Fun workout! Glad there is a go to for me while I figuring this knee thing out. I have an MRI scheduled for Nov. 3. I'm pissed I have to wait that long. My knee felt pretty good today, I will do my PT exercises and see if starts feeling better. I will still get the MRI, though, no matter what.

Diane - Good question, where is Cam? Last time she posted was on 10/3. I hope she's ok. Great job on your workouts, I want to do the Box and Legs but obviously that's on the back burner. :( Was it fun? I'm wondering if I've done that one but not #2, I think there is a second one out.

Cam - If you see this, give us an update. Are you ok?

Belinda - Do you mean bracelet? If so, I think that would be a great memorial gift. So sad you and your family are going through this and I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your trip goes well. Sending you hugs. Great job on Fuel! I have an MRI scheduled for Nov. 3.

Roselyn - 80 days seems long to me but it will go by in a flash! Congratulations!

Jolie - Glad you know what is going on with your collar bone. Knowing is half the battle, that's why I want to get this MRI done on my knee. Wish I could go sooner. Hope your issue gets better, I think you are on your way to full recovery!

Roxie - Wow on your blood pressure issues and your slow heart rate. Are you just born with that conditiion? Hopefully by now you are getting used to the meds, that sucks when the cure makes you feel like crap.

Have a great day everyone!!
