I am going to go do a workout of some sort. My physical therapist released me from physical therapy today so I don't have to go Friday. She had me do a few moves for strength and gave me suggestions to add to my list of PT exercises at home. She also talked to me about what I am doing for workouts and suggested as I can, I work on upper back strength. So, I can gradually get back into things. I did not feel any pain this morning
Debbie, one thing about it, now they have Tamiflu so if you do get the flu and go in early enough they can give you that and it expedites recovery. I think some of the flu viruses are worse than others. Although every time my husband would get it he would be shivering like crazy from the fevers. I always wonder about those who say they have the flu and they are still up and around. In my experience the actual flu knocks you for a loop for several weeks, even after the fevers are gone. But, if I thought I dared, I would skip the vaccine. If you have never had it then maybe you have a better immunity to it. There was a time when everyone else would get the viruses and I didn't or just had a mild cold here and there and I did not get the flu shots.
Nice work on toasted trisets today.
Belinda, my doctors office did not have the shingles vaccine in and I tried Walgreens and they were holding onto theirs for those that needed their second vaccine. So, I went to a small pharmacy that one of the Walgreens people told me about. I didn't even know it was there since it was off the main street. I love it. It is small, I went there for the shingles vaccine which they did have and my flu shot later. I will continue using them. They were on my Medicare Part D list with silverscript so I am pleased. Not that I get prescriptions often. Just my one arthritis one that I have cut the dosage in half on. I don't like the stuff. You might look for a pharmacy that is not the major ones or call and check before you go in. Although I called Walgreens and they said they had the Shingrix vaccine and then when I got there and waited forever they told me they couldn't give it to me as it had to be my second vaccine. I know what you mean about going stir crazy. I have missed my usual workouts the last couple of months.
