Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for May 2020

Debbie - I did Beachbody Lift 4. Great job on your workout this morning. I need to check out the Hot & Flashy lady. Yes, the cooking class cost money, was a charity event for restaurants in NY.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw 7 Strong, 43 minutes, heart rate 107/165, 1,071 steps, 145 calories. I then did Raw Box and Tone wearing my 4# vest, 29 minutes, heart rate 140/169, 2,608 steps, 174 calories, and finished with Fit Bit Yoga for upper body tension, 16 minutes, 44 calories, heart rate 82/104, 15 steps. The yoga I did not use my Fitbit watch, I let the app log the calories from the workout. Funny that the Fit Bit watch would probably give me more than half those calories. Total time was, 88 minutes, 363 calories, 3,694 calories.
So far I even have discovered that I can pick an exercise on the Scale's website and it will monitor time and the type of workout, but I don't think it is picking up on a heart rate or steps, so I am guessing it just tracks it as weights for so long for my body weight. It actually gave me less calories using weights and using boxing. Otherwise I can manually add it to the app if I want. It continues to want me to link the Google Fit app to do steps and put my finger on the phone for a pulse.
I got the Peak Performance Collagen Creamer. It is good and no sweetener at all. Powdered coconut milk and grass fed collagen powder. It tastes good mixed in my coffee. I had to try some out right away ;) I discovered I like iced coffee with some of the Essential Living Foods Organic Superfood Chocolate Drink Mix Cacao + Adaptogens which I use 1 Tablespoon instead of the two and mix it in a small cup of hot coffee before I add ice and some unsweetened creamer. The superfood powder has monk fruit but is very light on sweetness. To the point that when I put half a serving in it does not really taste sweet. I love that stuff in smoothies with Milkadamia milk and a banana with protein powder. Makes a tasty smoothie. Also not a lot of fat. Just the small amount that is in the nut milk. I am probably going to end up having to throw out the rest of my Organic Half and Half because since I dropped that 1 Tablespoon and started limiting to 1 serving of nut butter a day for the most part, my fat grams have dropped to around 30% or slightly above. Depending on what I have for dinner. Funny, I was eating up to 50 and 60 % fat calories doing low carb and Paleo.

Strong 7 is 7 exercises 7 reps repeated 7 times and finishing off with some abs. I upped the weight a bit on some of it this time. Kelly uses 20# dumbbells and a 33# barbell as well as a bench.

Dumbbell Row 27# dumbbells (25+2# gloves which I wore throughout)
Power Curl and press 17# dumbbells (dropped to 14# last two rounds and did not attempt the barbell at this weight)
Squat 27# dumbbells
Deadlift 27# dumbbells
Bench press 17# dumbbells
dips 35# barbell
hip thrust 35# barbell
repeat to set 5 then change to barbell last two rounds doing barbell rows 7 reps and barbell reverse grip row 7 reps All moves except power curl and press I did with the 35# barbell and weighted gloves. Just cannot do that much overhead work. I really like the format of this workout as there is no down time. You have to have your weights ready to go otherwise you will be pausing a lot.

Debbie, I use this Tarte full coverage foundation. I usually buy from either Amazon or Beauty Brands. I try to make sure Amazon is the seller though. https://www.amazon.com/Tarte-Amazon...=tarte+foundation+Ivory&qid=1589833379&sr=8-2
I will post the primer foundation as well. Great for summer. I wore it yesterday under the Amazonian Clay foundation and it always makes my skin look nice. I figured I would look as great as I can since I was going to church and family coming for birthdays :) I really hate it when it floods the roads and rains like that. I prefer to stay locked up in my house when it is like that. I think we get a nice few days of sunshine. :)
I know those body fat monitors are wonky. Funny, after my grandson in law got me hooked up with wifi I stood on it after the big lunch and clothes on and my body fat went down 1% . Go figure. I thought gee maybe I should weigh later in the day. The app suggests to wait 30 minutes after rising. I have not tried that because I want my cup of coffee right away, not 30 minutes later. At least if I weigh the same time it is pretty much the same every time. I delete the later weigh ins when I am working with the app. I have used Nut Pods, but the refrigerated ones mostly. They taste awful if they go bad. I do hate the sweet ones. I buy Milkadamia creamer unsweetened, Nut Pods, Oatmilk, but vanilla which 1 TBS is only a little sweet, and So Delicious plain unsweetened which is coconut milk and almond milk.
The Cardio and Tone workout does not use step or weights. Just a fun cardio workout. Did I post the moves? I can't remember. I guess I should look. I will be using it again. I almost did it today, but thought what I chose would be a compliment to the weight one.

Doreen, nice workout today. I would like it because it was lower and not crazy hard cardio.

Belinda, the only time I had problems with Walmart is when this first started and there was a run on the stores and everything disappeared. Then when they mentioned us having a meat shortage recently on the news, I knew it would be lean again and sure enough, I went to Walmart and there was only several packages of ground beef and a few of chicken thighs. I was nice and did not take all of the ground beef. It is fine at Sprouts though and I have not been back to Walmart as I avoid them as much as possible. Their lean ground beef at Sprouts are up in price right now though. I wish all of this ground chuck I have from a month or so ago was gone. Hard to get all of the greasy stuff out of it when I cook for my husband, but we were happy at the time when he came home with a 10# tube of it when there was none available anywhere. I don't eat it though. I am picky. Would rather do without. We are not a hot spot and I do not worry too much here. I understand though. I would wait for the salon too. I have not heard of Giant of Martins. Probably like me using Crest Foods here which has been fantastic about having plenty of stock and being open 24 hours a day through all of this. They also have kept their costs down pretty well. I say that because they did have watermelon and wanted 10 dollars for a seedless one. I decided it was a no and a week later got one at Sprouts for 5.00. Wasn't that good anyway. Most of the time they are shipped from Mexico and do not ripen naturally. Best are when they are local.

Today had to be a rest day, I had an early Chiropractor appointment, my ankle was out and it feels so much better now. Also, I had hot flashes so bad last night I really didn't get any sleep at all. It is raining here today, unheard of in CA in May.

Debbie, I got my husband a pillow at Costco, pretty much the same thing and I got it there in case he doesn't like it I can take it back. So far so good, it helps with his frozen shoulder issue so that's great news! I am going to look up that skin care you are using, sounds great. Nice workout today by the way, how is your neck doing after lifting that much this morning? Wow, on the rain you are getting, that is crazy!

Belinda, nice job on the Lift 4 workout today. I think Debbie was doing that for a while and I bought it but I have never used it yet. Are they good workouts?

Doreen, i bet it was awesome working out outside this morning! I love the sun! I open all of my windows and doors and it feels like I am workout outside too. Nice job today.

Diane Sue, I hope you have a great workout today.

BBL to read the other posts.

Here is a link to the Tart Primer BB I use. It works great does not break me out in acne or allergies and has a good wearable sunscreen. Titanium is one of them. Basically mineral type sunscreen. https://www.amazon.com/Tinted-Treat...Tarte+primer+foundation&qid=1589835463&sr=8-3
Edited to add that this usually lasts me over a year because I use it when I am going to be outside in summer or special occasions so price is not bad for me.

Jolie, I just saw your post. Glad the ankle feels better after the Chiropractor appointment. Have a great day.

I am so excited, I get to go into work today! LOL! Never thought I'd be this excited about going to work. I miss it so much, though. I need to do a few things before the end of the school year so this afternoon is it. Looking forward to it!

Had a great cardio workout today, I did RAW Cardio/Tone. It was really fun, I almost did the cardio sections a third time through but my knees didn't like some of the exercises so I just did the workout as is. The floor work was ok, I don't like one arm triceps pushups, those bother my upper back. I did one set of those and then the second time she did them I just did reverse crunches. But it was a fun workout.

Workout was 32 minutes, burned 208 calories, did 2182 steps and HR was 128/182.

Then I walked on my treadmill for 33 minutes, burned 214 calories, went 1.57 miles and did 3925 steps. HR was 117/134. My treadmill said I went 1.73 miles, almost .25 miles more than my FB showed. These stats used to be pretty much identical, I wonder what has changed on this device? So annoying.

Belinda - Oh yea, I loved Lift 4. I should do that again but don't want to subscribe to Beachbody, it's so expensive. That was a fun series, though. Nice job! I've always wanted to do a cooking class, I never thought to check out online ones. I'm sure there are more of them out there.

Diane - Great workout yesterday, I like your combination that you did. I need to stretch more, I'm not doing any again and I have all the time in the world right now. Not sure why I ignore that part of fitness, I know how important it is. I do stretch after each of my workouts, but that isn't enough to loosen my knots and tight muscles. Maybe tomorrow I will do one. I have a Tarte blush that I really love and there is an eyeshadow pallet I want to buy from that line - In Bloom. Love those colors but $40? Yikes! I have so many eyeshadows, though, I really shouldn't buy more. I can never find that one pallet that I love, though. I keep trying. LOL! I might look into that foundation but I am loving the Estee Lauder stuff right now. I just wish it didn't have a fragrance to it. Why on earth would you make a foundation smell? Weird. Thanks for posting the Cardio/Tone workout. I did see you posted it on Friday but I wasn't sure if there were any weights involved. I really liked that workout. Wonder why she did it in her gym? I love Nut Pods, that is my favorite creamer right now. I use it up so fast it doesn't have time to go bad. I've tried the flavored ones but don't care for them much.

Jolie - Glad your husband likes the pillow, you should get one for yourself. I am finding I am sleeping on my back much more and I swear they bags under my eyes are gone and that line in my chin isn't as noticible. I am amazed. Plus I think the new skin care regime I'm doing is helping a whole lot. So excited! When I look in the mirror I don't see old anymore, I see a nice face that I am happy to see again. Eh, my upper back is ok. I still have knots in my left side that just won't go away. Sitting in this stupid chair at home while working all day isn't helping either. Frustrating.

Roselyn - How is it going at work? Are people fearful of coming to the salon? Or does everyone seem to be ok with it?

Doreen - Great job yesterday, so glad you were able to workout outside. I know how much you like doing that!

Roxie - Hope you are doing well. Miss you girl.

Have great workouts everyone!!

Debbie - Yeah, on getting to go into work today! I am happy for your. I agree BB is so expensive. I wrote all the exercises down that is what I am using. I already own everything they put out, the newer stuff doesn't interest me.

I went for a bike ride last night with my son - just a quick loop on the downhill trails and then back. It was fun but my legs were dead from my workout this morning.

Today I did a Sydney Cummings Arms and Plank workout from youtube.

Today I had a kick butt workout, Cathe Live #220 Lower Body, Upper Body DB Challenge, all I can say is WOW! I have done this before so I have it written down. The first part of the workout is all legs and I burned 300 calories just during that part of the workout. I have to change a lot of the exercises because she does so many lunges, I cant do those anymore, so I sub in my favorite types of leg exercises, more squats ( all kinds ) leg ext., leg curls, a lot of leg exercises using the high step such as leg press. Then you move onto upper body and boy does it burn. Each set is x 16 reps and there are two rounds of each body part. It is a longer workout, 70 minutes because I had to pause a few times and I burned 604 calories. The AB section at the end is killer but I liked it. Average heart rate was 124 and max was 173. The warm up is very hard on the legs, I thought she was doing the program the whole time but it was the warm up LOL! I am going to try to do more total body workouts so I incorporate legs more because I really need it.

Debbie, I am so glad that you get to go into work, don't forget your mask! Nice job on the workout today. My fitbit is right on with my TM until I hit 30 minutes and then I pull away from its calorie burn for whatever reason. I guess I start working harder the second half of the workout and my calories jump quit a bit at about 45 minutes. I woke up sleeping on my stomach this morning, I never do that ever! I will try the wedge pillow but I love sleeping on my side because it feels good on my lower back. I cant wait for Ulta to open so I can go an check out the new skin care products and makeup. I like getting self tanning drops for my moisturizer so I look like I have been in the sun.

Belinda, I love wine but I only like Chardonnay or Prosecco with Aperol. I go to Napa every year for a trip so I love to visit the vineyards and try all the wine and good food. It is the best trip ever! Nice job on the workout today. I might have some wine today and sit in the sun and read :)

Doreen, the bike ride sounds great! Nice workout today.

Roselyn, I hope you have a good day at work today. Take vitamin D, Zink and Vitamin C and you should be AOK.

Diane Sue, I cant wear the make or skin care with the minerals in it, I break out so bad. I hope you have a great workout today.

Off to Costco, I have a few of my sons friends from college here and they are all football players weighing close to 250 pounds so I have to buy a lot of food and beer LOL! Thank God they all are going to a gym to workout, my 50 pound DB's are like lifting 5 pounds to them.

Have a wonderful day.

Today I did Raw Cardio Tone 31 minutes, heart rate 124/169, 142 calories, 2,156 steps, .23 according to my health mate app from my scale , .29 mph average/ 1.7 mph max. Interesting Data. I just used other on the workout choice because like Fitbit there is no aerobic setting so it is between other or fitness to use. Calorie burns were similar to Fitbit. I then did Raw Cardio Overload 2 wearing a 4 lb vest, and doing it on the floor instead of step ( I did pull out the high step for the squat thrust knee ins since Kelly is doing this off her step) A large amount of this workout is on the floor anyway. This was 36 minutes, heart rate 127/160 heart rate, 188 calories, 3,400 steps, .29 mph/1.7mph, .18 miles. I also did a youtube Jessica Smith 10 minute Stretch, 14 calories, 38 steps. Total time was 77 minutes, 344 calories, 5,594 steps.

Debbie, I have looked at the Tarte Bloom eyeshadow collection. Love the colors. I have the other two that are on that page. The Tartlet one and the Matte one in the gold and purple compact. I used up most of the highlight color out of the tartlet one. Still using the other colors. Wish I could pick up the highlight colors separately so I could use them with the colors that are left. I have a dark brown gel eyeliner that I like. Yeah on the going back to work. :D Just looked at the bloom collection again and the prices. I think my cost more getting it from Amazon. Maybe it was the tax or something. Sometimes if I need hair products or something I use Beauty Brands and make sure my purchase price is enough to get free shipping. Plus they send samples to try.
I see we did the same workout today. I am inclined to think that since all of my apps seem to come up with similar readings, that my heart rate is probably correct. When I manually check it it matches.
I saw our governor on Fox News today and he was saying we should be ready for phase 3 of opening up around June 1st.
Gosh, I cannot believe the ugliness going after Trump for saying he is taking hydroxychloroquine. Craziness. Plus they do not know what they are talking about when saying crazy stuff about the side affects. I have read the lists of side affects. I think a lot of over the counter stuff can have worse side affects than this drug. It helps my arthritis pain and I am not having problems with it after 2 years of it. Media makes me mad.

Belinda, 4 days a week workouts will give you plenty of recovery time. I have been reading some things from people that lift weights and workout with RA and most say longer rests between weights and not to do long workouts. I am terrible about feeling the need to do at least an hour or more. Although fitting in extra stretching and mobility is important to me and it adds on time.
I also read on, I believe web md that for RA to lift weights you should use 10% of your body weight for upper lifting and 25# of your body weight for lower. Also to build up to that. I don't need to build up to that, but I found it an interesting thing to remember when working out. I definitely don't push to where I was earlier on.

Jolie, I don't know about how much of minerals is in the Tarte make up. I was thinking that you would refer to titanium dioxide or zinc as minerals as they are what I can tolerate for sun screen. Any product with other sunscreens, shea butter, a lot of silicones or polymers will break me out and cause allergic reactions. I have done some of Cathe's workouts and thought I missed the warm up. LOL Nice work today. I have weird skin, even the prescription antibiotic ointment the eye surgeon had me use had to be stopped because he said I was having an allergic reaction to it. I just figured I was healing slowly and it looked weird. Some of the mineral eye shadows I used to use would make my eyelids remain red even after taking my make up off. Something about whatever the used for the lavender and purple shades. I used to use a lot of Bare Minerals and Aromaleigh products. In fact I have recently rid myself of the huge collection of pots of loose colors.
Costco would be the place to buy bulk for those football players :) I need to go to Sprouts and will probably go tomorrow.

Good morning,

I forgot to mention with L4 I lift 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Today is a recovery/rest day. On day's I have a rest day I will do yoga/stretching and walking.
This morning I went for a nice walk and did 30 min SBF stretching.

I will be back to catch up on personals.

So I only went in yesterday and I'm going in this morning for a few hours because I had to wrap up the last event I did before we left in March. It was great being in my office again, I really miss the work environment. I did get my contract for next year so I'm hoping that means they are keeping me on. I don't think this contract is set in stone, any contract can be broken, but I'm encouraged that they gave me one. My pay even went up so I'm excited about that. I would have been happy with no pay increase.

Today I did RAW 7 Strong and had a great workout. I did better with it this time because I knew what weights to used. I went up a bit on most exercises. Really worked up a sweat, it is getting humid here and I'm feeling it.

7 exercises, 7 times through for 7 reps

One Arm Row: used 22.5# until 3rd set, then went up to 25#
Power Curl & Press: used 12's for 1st set, then went up to 15's
Squats: used 12's for 1st set, then went up to 15's
Suitcase Deads: used 12's for 1st set, then went up to 15's
Bench Press: used 20's until 3rd set, then went up to 25's
Weighted Dips: used 20# BB until 5th set, then went up to 30#
Hip Thrusts: used 20# BB until 5th set, then went up to 30#
Ab work - 2 sets
Pullover/situp:
8's - 2 sets of 14 reps
Scissors: 2 sets

Workout was 48 minutes, burned 273 calories, and HR was 119/189.

Then I walked on my treadmill for 21 minutes, burned 138 calories, went 1 mile and did 2516 steps. HR was 123/135.

Belinda - I also wrote all the exercises down for that series, but some of the exercises were weird and I don't remember how to do them. I'll have to look over the sheets and see, maybe I'll do that series again, I really liked it. Are you doing cardio with it on the off days? I see you stretched today, that is what I really need to start doing again. Thanks for reminding me of this series, I totally forgot about it.

Doreen - Nice workout yesterday!

Jolie - Was #220 a newer workout? I don't remember seeing that. Nice job, that was a long one! You can sleep on the wedge pillow on your side, in fact, it is more comfortable with the wedge then with just a pillow. How is your husbands snoring? Hope that is getting better. You can order from Ulta online you know. I have done a couple orders and the delivery is quite fast. Sophora takes forever to mail things out. They say it's due to COVID, but how long does it take to put makeup in a box and slap a label on it?

Diane - Great job with your workout yesterday. That Cardio/Tone is fun, I really liked it. I got a Tweet this morning and she is releasing a dumbbell workout today I think with Sammie in it. Can't wait to see it. So I'm placing an order at Sephora through my JC Penny account and ordering two of the Tarte eyeshadow pallets. No sale coupons to be found anywhere. WTH? So they are in my cart and I'm hoping they will have a sale during Memorial Day weekend. JCP is filing bankrupcy and that makes me so sad, I love that store. Dress Barn was one of my favorites too, and it's gone as well. I hate clothes that Target and Kohls have so now I don't know where I'm going to buy my dress clothes. So bummed. I also can't believe the crap our President gets from the media and dems every day of the week. It is so ridiculous. He is taking that drug to prove that it is harmless and that it can cure COVID. Many doctors have said it is a good drug yet the media portrays it as evil. Such a shit show all the time. I pray for our president, I feel so bad for him and Melania.

Have a great day everyone!

Been back to work , the last 2 days i worked 12-8:30, only 10-5 today. It is very stressful in this new "Normal".
The mask gets got and hurts I know now how our health care people feel:( We have to be covered in smocks and change after every client luckily I am just assisting not really touching clients so I don't have to change as frequent as the stylists

But I have been working out

Great work everyone on your workouts! Lift4 has always appealed to me to try but I don't want to mess with the hassle of streaming beachbody because I think you have to do 3 months at a time.

Debbie - glad you got a contract for next year!

Roselyn - hang in there - I hate the masks too. I don't know how the health care people do it!

This morning I checked out a new instructor on youtube. I'm a bit torn - her circuits in this one were good, her music is weird though so half-way through I started playing my own and just watching her timers. She doesn't coach at all during the workout so you just follow along. There are little pop ups that show modifications and the next move coming up. A couple times I took the burpee out of the move for a modification - ie - I see no need to do a burpee to a row - I would rather just do the row to make it more strength based than cardio.

Well, I woke up so sore today in the lower body that I am walking kind of slow LOL! I was supposed to walk on the TM or do a kick boxing class but no can do! Today will have to be a rest day, I have some serious DOMS going on :)

Belinda, enjoy your active recovery day! I might go to the beach for a long slow walk this afternoon if my legs allow it.

Debbie, nice workout today. Your weights are getting back up there again and you aren't having pain, that is awesome! I am happy that your job gave you a new contract!!! You are such a great person and employee, they don't want to let people like you go, you are too hard to replace! My husband is using the pillow but says it is hard to get used to using.

Doreen, that instructor looks interesting, thanks for sharing, I will check it out today!

Roselyn, Are you going to stay at that salon or go to the other one that you were looking into so you can get on the floor and start doing hair?

Diane Sue, Great workout yesterday. I like Tart Cosmetics too. However, I rarely wear any makeup and when I do it is tinted moisturizer, powder, blush, mascara and some lipstick. I don't go anywhere lately so I don't wear anything, I am giving my skin a rest. I do love the colors that Tart has, they are so pretty. I use IT cosmetics now and really like it. However, it is expensive but since I rarely use it, it doesn't cost that much in the long run. I love IT's powders because I have so much red in my skin that it really tones it down. Also, I love the bronzer, not to shinny, it is matte and it looks really natural. Have a nice workout today.

I am getting new running shoes in the mail today so hopefully they will support my feet better and my ankle wont hurt as much when on the TM. I am going to try Asics this time since Saucony discontinued my favorite shoe.

Have a nice day.

Quick Check in and I need to go to the store. Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Solo Dumbbell Strength (metabolic workout) 37 minutes(33 actual) heart rate 95/ 137, 584 steps, 83 calories.
I then did Ripped with Hiit Abs #1, 11 minutes, 23 calories, heart rate 92/125, 263 steps. I finished with Fitbit Barre 3 Undo+Renew 13 minutes, 30 calories, heart rate 87/99, 109 steps. Total time was 61 minutes, 136 calories, 956 steps.

1 set only squat thrust/push up/frog squat up switch hands with dumbbell and repeat 12 reps
stretch

We are moving along faster than I thought on the reopening. Today when I went to Dollar General no one had on masks. I wore mine because of my allergies and was afraid I would start sneezing. Stores seem to do that to me. Sprouts employees and some people had masks on. Funny, one lady that went in ahead of me had on a half paper plate over her mouth with elastic and red lips painted where her mouth would be. I am guessing it was a joke? I wanted to laugh, but maybe she was serious.

Belinda, nice way to use your rest day.

Debbie, that is great that you got a contract and a raise. Praying it stays that way. Nice work today on 7 Strong. I went upstairs to workout late this morning and Kelly already had the new workout up. Posted above :) That is a shame that JC Penny's is filing bankruptcy. My pastor and his wife shop there all of the time. He is always talking about JC Penny. I avoid the Mall most of the time, but that is where my husband has got a lot of his shirts and dress clothes. I don't shop a lot. Amazon, I ordered Jeans from Maurices because theirs fit without wanting to fall off my back side. I recently have went to TJ Max once in awhile. They seem to stay pretty busy. I used to go to Kohls but looked online and just did not see anything that drew me to shop.
I used to shop on Sephora a lot. I wonder if JC Penny will go completely under. Are they all closing their doors. For dresses I can usually trust Calvin Klein online in size 2 to fit. I found a CK dress at TJ Max recently that was way less costly than when I go through Amazon. Better to keep the stores open though. I know Amazon has that feature where you can have clothes shipped and try them on and send back what you don't want. I don't shop for clothes often though. I mostly just pick up t shirts and tops with my jeans.
Yes, I feel sorry for both our president and Melania. I would like to get my hands on some of those people and give them what for because they are so evil. No love for our country at all. I pray for our president every day and right decisions from our leaders.

Roselyn hopefully they can get rid of the masks sometime in the near future. They are miserable and a summer with one of those things on will be even worse. I originally got mine to work outside and I could never keep it on that long. I am sure businesses where they have to work close with customers will be wearing masks a lot. My daughter has to wear her mask at work all of the time as a physician. Good for you still getting your workouts in.

Doreen, that music would definitely have to go. It would make me feel irritable through the whole workout. The workout looks quite fast paced and that is a lot of plank rows without a break. Not sure that I would care for it.

Jolie, it sounds like you were do to let those muscles rest. I will have to look at IT cosmetics. I have never paid attention to them. I use the Tarte BB tinted primer when I go to the pool and outdoor activities. Not a lot of coverage but it makes the skin look smooth and nice. I use it mainly in the summer months.
I seem to go through my workout shoes quickly since I wear them most of the time. Although in the house I am prone to going barefoot. I was thinking my main pair needs replaced soon. They are showing wear.

Good morning,

Day 3 Shoulder Intervals is done. I will get a stretch and walk in shortly.

Debbie - I am glad I am revisiting L4 again. Such a great program. Reminds me of old school lifting. You will remember the exercises when you look over your notes. I been walking daily, I don't feel the need to add extra cardio at this point. I enjoy the outside. I also been forgetting to stretch more, need to remind myself to do it regularly especially since I am walking so much. My legs are tight.

Jolie - how fun going to Napa valley. I have never visit Cal. It's on our to do list, lol. I like a nice dry red wine if we go out. How did your shoe shopping go yesterday? I am surprised the malls are open. Your walk at the beach sounds lovely.

Roselyn - that sounds like a lot of work. I hope they get paid more money.

Diane - great job.

BBL!

Today I did Cathe Live In the Ring, can't remember the number of the workout, but this is one of my favorites. My Max Trainer must really be conditioning me well because I was kicking butt with this workout and I never went breathless. I didn't modify anything either, so I was quite proud of myself.

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 312 calories, did 4444 steps (isn't that funny?) and HR was 136/167.

Roselyn - Wow, why would you have to change after each client? That seems to be overkill to me. The virus doesn't stay on clothing anyways. Masks are a pain to wear, I wear one every time I go grocery shopping and hate it. By the end of my trip I can't wait to get outside to pull it off. Hope things get better there for you.

Doreen - I agree with you and Diane, the music in that workout isn't great. You are right, you have to pay for at least 3 months with Beachbody. I really wish they would do a monthly thing like everyone else does. Lift 4 is an awesome program.

Jolie - I'm trying to lift heavier but not to the point where I will hurt myself. My chest has always been strong, I could have used 30's or 35's for that workout but didn't want to push it. I've been using the Bye Bye Pores from IT Cosmetics. I really like it. Hope you are rested to get a kick butt workout in today!

Diane - Did you like the new RAW workout? I wish it was posted when I looked for it yesterday. Oh well, I'll get to it eventually. I use the Bye Bye Pores Powder from IT Cosmetics and really like it, I haven't tried much else from them. Ohio is slowly reopening but we are supposed to be wearing masks when out in public. It is not mandatory, though. It should be IMO. The bars opened last Friday and there were many people congregating around and people took pictures of it and the health dept. said they would close them down if they did it again. How do you keep people apart in a bar environment? Impossible. I'm curious to see if this thing blows up again. That's funny about the lips drawn on that woman's mask. I wanted to do that when we first had to wear one. LOL! I think Penney's will be closing all their doors but not sure. I hate ordering clothes online, especially if it's a line I'm not familiar with since everyone has different fits for sizes. Some places I can wear a 4, others a 6. If I can't try it on, I always end up getting the wrong size. And I hate sending stuff back when ordering online.

Belinda - So I was looking at my workout sheets for Lift 4. Do you do the cardio as it is written? Some of the moves I have written down I don't remember how to do. I was thinking I could just get on my treadmill and sprint for the times they have on there or do it on my Max Trainer. I might start doing them next week. Also, I didn't do the leg days because back then my knees were really bad. I think I can do them this time through.

Have a great day everyone!!
