Belinda, I can't believe that painter. Cost was crazy and to try to act like he painted when he didn't was terrible. My husband got painters here that were painting his work place. He hired them and they worked weekends on our house. They painted the entire inside for 700 dollars and we bought the paint, caulking, and edge protecting stuff, painters tape. They did an excellent job and came back insisting they did not miss any caulking around the baseboards. We also had them paint the exterior which again was done the same way and they scraped chips and peels from the lousy job that had been thrown on before we purchased out house. They were meticulous with their work. That is such a shame someone would pull something like that. As far as plumbing I read peoples suggestions on the next-door neighborhood site for our area and found a retired fireman/plumber as he did plumbing on the side till he retired. He has been great and whenever we need something we cannot do we call him. He got us the special equipment people when we had a slab leak under our bath floor. He moved plumbing for us and set up a line for a toilet in the guest bath we added downstairs.
We do a lot of stuff ourselves though. My husband has removed and replaced toilets and fixed them. He does a lot of repairs for our church and the school there and I help. We do it because we like helping and we don't charge them. Anything that we can do anyway. YouTube is great for fixing things. New windows sound like a great idea and money saver.
My shoulder was so painful after the cortisone injection. I guess it takes awhile. The one in my knee took a couple of weeks before noticeable improvement. It sounds like the injection caused a lot of inflammation at first. Apple watches are so expensive. I looked at them when I looked at the newer Fitbit.

I just did a 20 Minute Yoga and walked for 30 minutes this morning.

Today was a rest day. I did not sleep well last night and barely got up in time to make it to church. I stayed up late watching the protests downtown and praying for no one to get hurt. Damage was done to police cars and bricks thrown at them. Another protest today. So far it started peacefully. We have friends and family down there and I don't want anyone hurt. It is not all of them, there are those that come from somewhere else for this to stir up hate. One officers actions has caused a lot of pain for many people.

Doreen, I really need to go upstairs and do a few minutes of yoga. No time this morning,

I walked a 1.5 miles and did Cathe Yoga Max = 49 min.

Diane - we couldn't believe that painter, lol. He had very good reference, working down town DC at historic buildings. We thought we could trust him. Although I had my doubts about him when he showed up smelling like alcohol. When he showed up that Sunday looking at the inside of the house I couldn't help myself I said " there isn't going to be drinking going on while you paint" I guess, he didn't like that We did had a painter that painted our house in El Paso inside and out. He did an amazing job painting our house. He wasn't every expensive for painting the outside and inside. We also have a next door neighbor hood side. With the virus I didn't wanted anyone come into the house. Especially if I don't know if they have the virus. We do have home owner insurance. They will sent some one out. It would have been cheaper going through the insurance and a lot faster, lol. Thank goodness we have 3 full bathrooms and a guest bathroom in the house. I will defiantly look into those windows. Sounds like your husband is very handy too. After the painter experience we started painting ourselves, it's a lot cheaper too. I didn't realized until last night my doc pocked me 5 times in each knees. I didn't felt anything, lol. I guess, he wanted to make sure the codizone got around all my knees. No wonder I hardly could walk Friday. So far, so good. I have a little tightness and very little pain today. If that stays like that I am very happy. I still can't kneel, had to modify the yoga a little.
