Today I did STS 2 Giant Sets Total Body, 58 minutes, heart rate 9/125 134 calories. I finished with CDorner 20 minute relaxing neck stretch, 18 minutes, 25 calories. TOtal time 76 minutes, 159 calories. I lowered weights for some of it.

Belinda, it is nice you got outside for your walk and yoga today. No, they did not give me any meds yet. He wants me to have that test/procedure done so he can see if there is infection. He has the CT scan results. I suppose he needs to wait till we can do that so he knows what antibiotics and meds to give. He would have set up that appointment for next Friday, but I did not have someone to go with me. My husband is on for extra hours and days at work for someone else. So, I had to come home to check my agenda book. They are supposed to call me, but so far I have not heard anything. He told me after they do the test it takes 2 or 3 weeks to get the results.

Jolie, i am glad you slept well after that hill climb. Enjoy your rest day. I am going to take some more rest days while my grandson is here. Somehow, I have a feeling we will be going to the playground in the 100-degree temps. I have not used NAC for a while now. I also ran out of the Ultra Cur Curcumin that uses NAC for their scaffold. I use Garden of Life oil of oregano every day. Maybe I should up to twice a day. That stuff is great. I had a keratosis (I think that is what the doctor called it) that got to an inch diameter. I mixed oregano oil with extra virgin coconut oil and put it on several times a day and after a few months it was completely gone. I have let some of my supplements run out and need to restock. I tried Ultra Botanica Ultra Broc which was supposed to be a cleanse and also used a bottle of their SenUltra which has ficetin, curcumin, quercetin which is supposed to clear senecent cells. Ultra Defense has olive leaf with curcumin, zinc, and D in it. I need to shop. I wish things were not so expensive. NAC and Olive leaf is a good idea. I realized before this that something is up because of the down turn of my weight and feeling super tired all of the time. They saw patches on my lungs a year ago, but this time they were more pronounced. Also, my primary care and my arthritis doctor had noticed my white count is low. I am making a bone broth smoothie at night before bed with Ancient Nutrition Salted Caramel and peaches with plain extra probiotic yogurt. It gives me more calories. It seems ridiculous when I work so hard at health and things are not going well. I was 104 at the doctors yesterday with my shoes and clothes.

Debbie, nice workout. I am sorry that your knee is bothering you. I have that happen off and on. My surgeon told me that I had a lot of arthritis in my knee and I would still experience pain from that. Same was said with my shoulder. I guess that goes with aging.

Roxie, I bet camping was fun. How do you like the Sure Things workout? I put them in my shopping cart and then held off thinking they might be put up on the Raw channel. I do like the dvds for premixes though.

Today I did CDorner Fat Blasting Rock Your Cardio Hight or Low Impact, 47 minutes, heart rate 135/151, 244 calories, 4,730 steps. I also did STS 2 Mobility 1 18 minutes, 38 calories. Total time 65 minutes, 282 calories.

Belinda, great job on getting a walk in outside and Body Parts Legs. Thanks, I feel okay and I am sure I will get through it like everything else. I guess I was surprised. The doctor said I looked like I was still taking it all in when he asked if I had questions. It was unexpected on my part. Hopefully it takes care of some of the coughing I have had most of my life.
 
Today I walked uphill on a steep incline on the TM, incline between 4.0 to 8.0, 60 minutes, traveled 3.4 miles and burned 649 calories.

Today I did STS Meso 1 Disc# 5 Back and Triceps and ended my workout with 7 minutes on the Max Trainer, manual mode, level 6 resistance and burned 103 calories. Total Workout time was 1 hour 6 minutes and burned a total of 466 calories. My legs are so pumped from the Max Trainer, I love this machine. I need to start using it several times per week, my legs are looking flabby even with all of the walking I have been doing lately. I got in 6 days of workouts this week, I am feeling very proud of myself. :)

This morning all I could do is walk on my treadmill. I'm not sure what's going on but I have twisted muscles in my upper back again. It started after I did those posture exercises. I think I squeezed too hard or something. Then I felt like I slept wrong and my neck on that same side and trap were really hurting on Sunday and had huge knots. WTF?? So sick of this. I'm really hoping it is gone tomorrow so I can lift. It's better today, I massaged it and iced it last night and then I put an Icy/Hot patch on it all night. That really seems to relax the muscle.

Why is this starting all over again? I swear I am sitting up straight at work, I'm so conscience about it it's sickening. I just don't get what is causing this other than just plain sitting all day. I have also been standing more during the day too. I Just don't get it.

Anyways, workout was 43 minutes, burned 335 calories, went 2.12 miles, did 4822 steps and HR was 128/141.

Also just found out someone used my identity to file unemployment. Luckily my employer knows me well and knows I never filed for unemployment. I had to fill out paperwork for it. Unbelievable.

Today is a rest day for me. I woke up sore and tired and I am listening to my body. I only got one rest day last week, I think I need two rest days per week.

Debbie, I hope your back feels better by tomorrow so you can workout. Bummer about the identity thing, that has happened to me in the past too but they took out credit cards in my name!

Today I did STS 2 Metabolic Core Warm Up+ mini ball abs mix, 24 minutes, 79 calories. I then did STS 2 Mobility 2, 18 minutes, 32 calories. 42 minutes total and 97 calories. I have my grandson here so had not planned on doing any workout. This helped loosen things up after a day of mostly sitting. I think I will wait till Wednesday to do a strength workout.

Debbie, I am sorry you are having that problem. I did those posture exercises yesterday and the day before. I wondered if they would make it hurt. I did not do a lot of it though. I think I have the habit of tightening up those muscles too much. Then I really hurt later. Plus, like you I am aware all of the time and am constantly trying to squeeze the pencil between my shoulder blades and up my spine. I am sure that is why my spine aches most of the time. I am not sure how we strengthen the are as it should already be strong enough with all of the concentrated squeezing and pushing the shoulders down. It seems like a vicious cycle of resting and getting rid of the pain and then it comes back all over again. I sit way more than I used to since I am not watching children and keeping busy with not much time to sit down.

Jolie, enjoy your rest day. It is always good to listen to our bodies I am finding that a workout rotation is not set in stone and I need to listen to my body that is getting older and needs more recovery time before I jump into the next workout.
 
30 Min Penny Barnshaw stregth superset this morning.

I tried to take my dog for a ride with my bike Saturday evening and he saw a rabbit and tried to chase it and ended up pulling me over in the driveway. I have a huge bruise on my thigh but luckly no other damage. I have to remember to be the first one out the gate in the future!

Today started STS Meso 2 week 3 and I worked Chest and Shoulders. This was the Double-Wave Load workout and I had a good workout even though I am still in pain. I'm SICK of being sidelined so I just did it. I went as heavy as I could and then I iced my upper back and trap. I don't feel too bad right now.

Standing Lateral Raise: 10's - 12/10/8 reps
Seated Rear Delt Raise: Skipped

Workout was 49 minutes, burned 245 calories. HR was 105/148. I really wish I could have gone heavier, I felt like it wasn't all that challenging because I couldn't go heavier. Having this upper back problem is getting OLD!!

Jolie - Hope you had a great rest day, you deserved it!! OMG on people taking out credit cards in your name, that is so scary!! I've had people use my credit cards before, but never taking one out themselves. Thank God. People who do that should go to jail for life. That is so wrong.

Diane - Good job getting your workout in yesterday. You've been busy lately. I hope you are feeling better. I think I also have a habit of "over" tightening when do that posture work. The guy makes it look like you really need to squeeze hard so I do. I'm so mad I did that. Icing really seems to calm it down and those Icy/Hot patches are a Godsend. I put one on at bedtime and just leave it on all night. It relaxes the knot and hopefully in a couple days the damn thing will just be gone. Why we are plagued with this is anyone's guess. I just don't get it.

Today I had a long workout, I had to walk the pup and do STS! I started with a 50-minute walk with the dog, traveled 3 miles and burned 485 calories. Next, I did Cathe's STS Meso 1 Disc #7 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps and had an excellent workout. The only time my elbow hurt with the upright rows, I just went light weights and made it through. My chiro said to work it out, do not rest it because it will get stiff. It is my forearm and arm bone causing the problem, so I probably need to get it adjusted again. For a while it did not hurt because I had her adjust it but now it hurts again. Oh well... But, on a good note, otherwise I am feeling good! Total workout time was 1 hour 55 minutes and I burned 891 calories. I bet I will sleep good tonight!

Debbie, great job on the double wave load workout, that is one of my favorite workouts of all time. I do like in Body Beast where he does the Progressive Sets too, I might have to do Body Beast when I am done with STS! Maybe you just need to ice after your workout to solve the problem. I used to do that at work, I would keep an ice pack and put it where I needed it while working on my emails. Kill two birds with one stone! :) Did you see that they indited Trump again last night! What assholes!

Diane Sue, I hope you had a good time with your grandson. I think it is smart not to push ourselves too hard this time in our lives, it wont make a difference one way or the other. I like to lift every other day and get some cardio and steps in for the day, I feel better because I feel like I am stretching and lengthening my muscles when I do cardio.

Doreen, sorry about the tip over on the bike! That is totally something that my dog would do to me too! Great job on the workout.

Today I did Week 12 STS 2 Body Parts Back. It’s my last week of STS. I also did yoga. Sadie had a groomer appoitment this morning which took forever. We switched groomer. Although I like the old groomer, she didn’t know how to do yorkie’s. The new groomer is more expensive. Sadie looks like a yorkie especially in her face.

Diane - I hear you on not expecting those kinda news. It will take awhile to take it all in. You will go through this Hopefully your doctor finally can give you the right meds for your coughing. Sorry you have to go through this.Great job on your workouts.

Jolie - great job on the walk and STS today. It’s too hot to walk. The humidity is very high today.

I don't have to do that with Gertie. I do what needs done. I sat and watched a youtube on the channel I get some supplements from since I saw my Vet was a guest on their show. He is a natural medicine vet. They also talked about foods humans eat and stuff. It was quite interesting. I kind of want to go back and watch again.
I am hoping to hear something from that doctor's office soon. He set me up for a return visit in November.

Debbie, nice job on STS 2 Chest and Shoulders today. I guess we need to be gentler at getting into those positions, so we do not hurt ourselves. Reminds me of PT and going home and sitting with ice packs afterward. I think I will do back tomorrow. My grandson goes home this afternoon/

Jolie, great job with the walk and STS meso 1 chest, shoulders, and biceps today. That was a long workout. I would like to do a little more cardio. Right now though my goal is gain muscle and some weight. My app is showing that I am gaining muscle and fat percentage is lower. I turned the tv off last night before I saw what their indictment was. It is beyond ridiculous. We will have Fox on in a couple of hours and I am sure I will hear it all.
 
Today I did STS Meso 2, Week 3, Back & Biceps, but only did the biceps work and then I did the triceps work from the Chest, Shoulders and Triceps workout. Had a great workout, my upper back is still really bothering me but it seems to ease up when I work out and then tighten up again when I'm finished. Weird.

It's weird, I don't feel lifting workouts like I used to. Maybe because I'm not going as heavy as I could be but I'm afraid of injury. But all that I did this morning and yesterday with chest and shoulders, I barely felt it.

Jolie - Excellent workout yesterday! Is the heat getting more bearable there? I hope so. I love the double wave load workouts, I wish she did that with every exercise. It would take forever, though. I'd like to also do Body Beast again, just not sure I can listen to those guys, they used to drive me crazy. Yes, this crap with Trump is ridiculous. They are doing everything in their power to get him away from the White House. And it's working, that's what scares me.

Diane - Nice job with your workout, I still want to get those from the STS 2 compilation. Be careful working your back today! I want to work mine this week but not sure I should.

Today I am tired from yesterday's workout so I just took the pup for a 3.4 mile walk, 1 hour and burned 532 calories. It is a little cooler today but very high humidity, it is raining out right now! This is totally un heard of weather in CA for this time of the year but there are tropical storms off the coast of Baja and that kicks up the humidity.

Debbie, great job on the Biceps and Triceps workout today. Wow on the BB curls, 35 pounds would kill me right now, I have to work up to getting my strength back slowly but surely. I am sure I could curl it but I know my elbow would not like it at the moment.

Daine Sue, great job on the Bicep workout yesterday. Funny, you need to gain weight and muscle and I need to lose weight and gain muscle! I think I have been sitting around too much this summer due to the high heat keeping me in the house more than usual. I know I can get the weight off once Fall arrives.

Belinda, nice job with the weight workout and that is nice that Sadie got a good Yorkie haircut.

Roselyn, way to go on the workout, I am not familiar with that one.
