Hi everyone. Been a bit busy and haven't had a chance to check-in. Flew down to New Orleans on Tuesday. The weather here is great: 70+ degrees. Not missing the super cold in Virginia. The good news is that XTRAIN travels very well. The hotel we are staying in has a pretty good fitness room with enough floor space to do Cathe cardio workouts and they even have a step, and of course, free weights. I've been able to stick to the 30-day XTRAIN rotation which has been great. My workouts have been super early though: 5 in the morning which means I have had the fitness room all to myself. We are heading back to Virginia in the morning. Going to switch to an early morning flight so I can get back and home before the next round of light snow comes through.
Being in New Orleans, it is hard not to over-indulge. The restaurants here are outstanding. The last few nights I've splurged but what the heck; I've stuck to my exercise, so why not?
ReneeP: I have no doubt that if you keep exercising and watching your diet that you will get back down to a better weight for you. 149 is not horrible but at 5 foot 1 inch of height, you are right to want to lose 20 or so pounds. Plus, I think from a mental point-of-view, you have set a goal that doesn't seem insurmountable. You know I am a HUGE fan of Cathe's rotations and I think that if you stick with the 90-day rotation and then keep on following different rotations, you will be amazed at the progress that you make.
