I went to my PureBarre class on Wednesday. Same instructor but a little better the second time around. She spent more time demonstrating the moves so maybe they got some feedback. I'm signed up for three classes next week. It's a nice add-on workout. Did a Crossfire premix yesterday: fitness blast, plyo tabata, and core. It is a good 33 minute cardio+core workout. If you a quick workout, I highly recommend this premix. Today was a break day.
Janie: oh boy, you'd have to ask what other instruments sister plays. Let's see: flute, trombone, recorder, piano, bass. Those are the main ones. She started on flute in high school, then added piano and the trombone. I think she picked up the trombone, bass, and recorder on her own. There are probably others that she can play. If I remember correctly, she played the organ for a synagogue (no, we are not Jewish; they paid her to play, I think) in Fredericksburg when she lived in this area. Sister says once you learn a wind or string instrument, you can pick up others pretty easily. If she is lurking, she could pop in and give you the whole list.
Kathy: a 35 minute shoulder workout sounds like torture to me. I think shoulder work is the hardest. I don't know if I could make it 35 minutes on just shoulder work. I know one thing; I'd be majorly whining. The fact that you got through the workout and aren't feeling it (in a bad way) afterwards bodes very well for your recovery. Seems like you are: recovered.
Missing sister, Cindy, and Laura. Hope we see posts from you soon.
