Commit to get Fit & Lean January 2016 - 2024

Hi,

Today was a walk at the gym & a quick total body workout. We babysat for a couple of hours so my dd & dil could get a bite to eat. It was a tiring day, at least I'm all packed:)

Belinda - I forgot to answer your question, I did sign up for the RT. I will miss you and your DD. I'm sure everyone will be asking for you. There will be other years to go.

Cookie - It must be exhausting covering for a colleague. Lots of people are getting sick, dreading getting on the plane.

Good morning! Thanks for the comment on my image! I am a scenic stamper & created this scene for my husband. I also make PanPastel backgrounds for a stamp company. This scene is using one of my latest backgrounds that will be released soon. My husband & I both would love to have a cabin in the woods. We do live outside the city, & this area doesn't have the best internet. They are working on improving it though. So hopefully soon......

I went for a short walk outside today. Felt good to be outside and move my legs.

Debbie - DH and I want to travel in the RV. I will miss you guys. I am sure you all have a lot of fun. Yes, maybe next year. Safe travels today. Hopefully you get lots of rest.

Cookie - I agree, that‘s a lot of extra work on you. You must be exhausted. Get some rest.

Deanna - nice work on the background. You are very talente.

'Evening! Went to my dil's parents for a first birthday party for our granddaughter. We enjoy the other set of grandparents a lot so it makes life easier. Hard to believe it's been a year already.

Deb, you are so lucky to be close to babysit. I'm sure your son and dil appreciate it.

Belinda, glad you had a chance to get outside and get a walk in. I did a JS walk the other day and she was speaking about the importance of rest.

Deanna, what talent! Are pastels your favorite medium?
 
Hi,

Yesterday was lots of steps at the airport. We are visiting my Dad and his wife it is really nice. Lots of talks and catching up.

I heard we had 6 inches of snow in NJ. I don’t like the cold but miss the snow :) Did you all have snow?

Belinda - Nice you went for a walk outside. Glad you are feeling better. I’m sure traveling with the RV will be lots of fun.

Cookie - Happy Birthday to your Granddaughter. Wow, it goes so fast. Hopefully you are getting to relax this weekend.

Sorry I didn’t check in yesterday. We got a lot of snow and ice. Too cold to walk outside.

Debbie - we also got over 8 inches. It’s so cold outside. Enjoy Fl. Can’t wait to travel in the RV in a few months.

Cookie - I hear you on being worn out.I feel the same way. I am taking it easy. Maybe it’s the weather? Great some rest.

Hi,

We walked 1/2 on the beach and 1/2 on the street. It’s cold and windy at the condo. We have so much to do so & visiting but all good. The condo looks great. Tomorrow we get our bed. We need to get dressers & lighting living out of totes. We also need guest bedroom furniture. DH wants me to rush, I need to take my time LOL.

Belinda - TG snowstorm didn’t happen on Thursday. Sadie would get lost in that amount of snow. Good luck with infusion.

Cookie - Anything more than 4 inches of snow is work. I like Spring snow it melts within a couple of days.

We don't really get a lot of snow anymore, except in the mountains. Only one snowstorm so far this winter. The cold temps are here though.

Thank you! I do think PanPastels are my favorite, but I also love the dye inks, oxides, hybrids, pigment inks, as well a Prismacolor pencils.
 
Hi,

Today was a walk on the street. It was cold,rainy & dreary. We did get our bed delivered and went to looking for additional pieces. We are getting things done. The next 2 days we will take a break & visit family & friends.

Belinda - I hope your infusion went well.

Cookie - There was snow in parts of Texas, Louisiana & north FL. It can’t compare with what we get;)

Deanna - Unfortunately it does seem to be cold all over.

Good morning,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I don‘t know what happened after my infusion, I got so tired. It wore me out. I fell asleep early. Boy it‘s so cold outside. I did do a short indoor walk.

Tomorrow I have my 2nd eye surgery. Fingers crossed no problems.

Debbie - thank you. The infusion went well, not sure what hit me yesterday? What style of bed did you order? Glad you getting things done. I always have a hard time finding things I really like.

Hi,

Today we visited DHs Aunt & Uncle. It was a really nice visit. We didn’t have time to walk and it was really cold. You can tell the Floridians they are dressed like we do up North. Me too LOL!

Belinda - It’s good you rested since you have surgery tomorrow. I hope it works out & good luck. I picked out Farmhouse furniture. It goes well with the floors and walls. Even the delivery man thought so.

Cookie - I’m sure it was too cold for an outside walk. Great getting in Essentics & walk. It’s hard picking furniture since you must live with it for many years. The good thing is I know what I like it’s just a matter of finding it.

Quick check in: surgery went well. I had more discomfort this time around than my first surgery. I am feeling much better now. I guess, it‘s normal to feel some pain after surgery. I also feel nauseous. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow. I will be back tomorrow to catch up on personals.

Deb, glad you like the new furniture and it is approved by the delivery guy! No walking outside around here today.

Belinda, hope you're resting. Your body has been thru a lot with the surgeries and infusion.

Deanna, I've only been to NM three times but loved it. It truly is beautiful!
 
Evening,

I am feeling much better, no pain or nausea. I saw my surgeon today, I have 20/25 vision in my left eye. It‘s wasn‘t even 24 hours ago I had cataract surgery. I haven‘t worn my glasses all day. I can see without them. My right eye on the other hand is slow as heck catching up :( It was my worse eye. Doctor said, we have to wait a month to see where I am with that eye. He is happy for both yes.I probably need a light prescription for my right eye. We have to wait and see. I probably need another surgery in the future if I don‘t want to wear glasses at. I have options. I can actually read without glasses.I am so happy. I wore glasses since I was in first grade.

Debbie - thank you. I love Farmhouse, it‘s timeless. That is funny your delivery guy comment on it. He has good style. I saw Fl got snow? Yikes! I hope the weather breaks soon here. I want to go for a walk, move my legs.

Cookie - thank you. I do noticed my body needs rest. I sleep a lot. My body went through a lot lately with surgeries, Covid and infusions. Great job with your workouts.

Waving Hi to Deanna! I used to live in El Paso, TX. NM is beautiful, went there a lot.

'Evening! JS Push Pull today. Boy, what a workout! I should sleep good tonight. DH's snoring has been so bad the last couple of nights, I moved to another room to catch some sleep!

Deb, were you impacted by the snow? Hope you're having a great time.

Belinda, glad you're resting and the surgeries were such a success! That's great.
