Hi,

Today was a walk on the beach. It was also warmer today.

Belinda - Great getting a walk in. Is your DD close to the Washington DC airport? So sad about the accident.

Cookie - Great getting a walk in the good thing January is almost over. Believe it or not we are missing home, but I’m sure once we feel the cold that will change,

Sounds like you've been very busy! It's always such a challenge to deal with stress.

I was an RN for many years but when I got really sick, I eventually let my license lapse & never went back. That was a very stressful job & I honestly don't want to work as a nurse anymore. I think my favorite job was when I was a vet tech. Anyway, due to a really difficult condition called MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity), I can't return to the workplace. So, I am home now. I stay busy with many other things, including music (piano & flute), crafting, Bible study, & of course my workouts. I have the sweetest, most compassionate husband who is very supportive in dealing with the MCS. I get many of my crafting ideas from nature & just looking at the beauty outdoors. And of course, Pinterest has some great inspiration. Not to mention other artists. So, I get ideas from anywhere & everywhere.

Good morning! I am doing great, thanks for asking! It's finally supposed to start warming up here so I may seek some time outside! Once the mornings warm up, my son & I plan to restart our early morning walks again so I'm REALLY looking forward to that!
 
Today I went for a short walk. It started to rain, had to cut it short. Still had a great time.

My eye appointment went well yesterday. My left eye (surgery was last week) I have 20/20 vision. My right eye needs more time to catch up. Still very happy with the outcome.

Debbie - glad it warmed up for you. Good job on your walk. Yes, DD lives very close to the airport. We usually fly out of it. So very said.

Cookie - good job on your walk. We have lots of rain.I didn’t take Sadie yesterday, Dh stayed home he was watching Sadie. I still can’t bent over and pick her up.

Deanna - glad you doing great. We have lots of rain today. Have fun with your walk.

Managed to get in two indoors walks - one each yesterday and today.

Deb, are you in still in FL? The weather here is freezing!!!! Actually, below freezing, it's 0!.

Belinda, glad your eye surgeries have been so successful. Be careful on your walks. It's icy.

Deanna, hope you and your son can start your walks soon. I had a friend with that same condition, and it had such a huge impact on her life.

No walk outside today, it’s freezing cold.

Cookie - thank you. I am so happy with the outcome of my surgeries. We don’t have ice, if it keeps this up will. It’s just too cold to walk. Not sure what I will do tomorrow? Great job on your indoor walks. I was looking at those too, doctor told me to keep it easy for another week.

Hi,

I didn't realize I didn't check in on Friday, yesterday we were traveling. The last day we did enjoy the beach but I was in pants and sweatshirt;) Traveling was actually the best in a long time. No delays, empty plane and 30 minutes early.

Today I went to the gym to walk it was much too cold. We returned to an icy driveway but hopefully will melt tomorrow.

Belinda - Great to hear your eyes are doing well. It is amazing you have 20/20 vision now, so worth it.

Cookie - I'm not sure why I complained about cold weather in FL, it wasn't fun coming home to cold temps and ice. I can see why you walked inside:)

Deanna - It sounds like you keep yourself very busy.

Hi,

Today was a walk outside & upper body at the gym. I heard about the rising egg prices, shocked when I went to the store today and saw how high they are. In Florida at the breakfast place we go to, they were putting a $.45 surcharge on each egg. I hope they find a way to stop the bird flu.

Belinda - Great getting in your walks:) We are expecting another storm on Wednesday/Thursday:(

Cookie - Great doing an Essentrics workout. I am planning to clean out my ds's room. We are looking into having someone remove carpet and paint. DS left most of his stuff when he moved out :oops:

I actually am one of those few people that doesn't care to travel much. It always seems to end up being a huge hassle. I would rather just snap my fingers to be somewhere.

I do stay busy. I quit watching a lot of TV years ago & started discovering other things to do. I even started planting flowers & a small garden for the first time in my life. In fact, the last few years I started enjoying watching the birds around here too. And now I put out hummingbird feeders every summer. (My sis says bird watching is on old people thing so that fits! LOL!) There's so much in this life & never a reason for me to feel bored.

Walk outside is done. I had to cut it short, it was getting very cold. DH, Sadie and I checked on the RV at the RV storage. We also moved a few things back into the RV. We had to empty the entire RV before we went to Alabama.

Debbie - we also expecting bad weather tomorrow and Thursday. Egg prices been going up. I was shocked when I picked some up at Costco. I hope they find a way to stop the bird flu too. Great job on your walk and weight workout at the gym

Cookie - we don’t have snow or ice. Roads are clear. I did had to cut my walk short, it was just too cold to walk outside.

'Evening! Did a JS thread tb workout today. It's so icy here, even my dog was sliding around!

Deb, same here - not one of my moved out their stuff when they left. They seemed to have thought I would want it!??? Do you have an idea of how you want to use that room? Removing the carpet and painting it will make it seem like a whole different space.

Belinda, guess us east coasters are all getting that storm. Being cold when out for a walk is not nice at all.

Deanna, I like bird watching and listening to the birds here. A couple of my friends participate in the Cornell bird count. They really can recognize and differentiate between so many birds.

Today was a short walk with older ds & gf's dog. They are in FL. The dog is older but a very good dog. I also did L&R Functional Lower body.

Belinda - Does Sadie have a special place in the RV? It's great you can still access it when it is in storage.

Cookie - Nice getting in a JS TB workout. I am going to leave DS's bed and put a pack & play for the baby. Mostly when they visit, don't think they would leave him overnight.

Deanna - I put out a hummingbird feeder but last year we didn't get many.

I didn't get many the first year either. But more & more show up each year. I ended up with 5 feeders out last summer. I would take a cup of coffee & sit out in the yard in the mornings & watch them. They weren't at all scared of me being there.

No walk today. I will get out tomorrow. I have a doctor appointment to check out my lungs. I been having problems since I had covid.

Debbie - yes, she does. When we on the road she sits on my lap. She also loves the dog window on the passenger window. She loves looking and barking at all the dogs that walk by, lol. You need a dog, lol. How old is your DS dog? We have access to the RV storage place 24 hours. It’s very secure. We used them with our old RV. It’s not very far from our house.

Cookie - yes, we west coasters are getting all that storm. It was too cold even for me yesterday. I hate the cold. Nice job on your FB workout. I can’t wait until I can start lifting again. We are suppose to get ice tomorrow. Yikes!

Deanna - I have a bird feeder. Love watching the birds. I guess we all are old, lol.

'Evening! An indoor walk today. We're also supposed to get a storm tonight and into tomorrow. I miss my outdoor walks but it is far too icy to try.

Deb, sounds like you're creating a baby room. Having a pack-and-play with make it easier. We've acquired two pack and plays, a high seat, stroller, toys and books already. I does make it easier for when they're visiting.

Belinda, hope things are alright with your lungs, and that everything went well at the doctor's.

Deanna, five feeders! That's awesome. We used to have feeders for at our prior house, but they attracted a lot of ants. We have a good number of bird houses though.
 
Hi,

Today was zoom yoga. I had a Dr.'s appointment in the morning, it was next to an indoor mall so window shopped and walked a bit.

Belinda - We are expecting ice storm too:( Makes me very nervous but they put down lots of salt. It is so nice Sadie enjoys the RV and it is so close to your house. DS's dog is 10 years old, she barks at other dogs that walk past our house.

Cookie - It has been lots of indoor walks this winter. We are expecting bad weather on and off the next week:( My SIL has a similar set-up like you for her Grandchild. I haven't yet but working on it:)

Deanna - I had to move my feeder to the window because of the squirrels. It is amazing they come out when you are outside. Ours get nervous if they see us thru the window.

Hi,

I saw the doctor, she thinks I have pneumonia. She put me on antibiotics, it it not clearing up in 2 weeks she is ordering some tests.

I did go for a walk outside. We had icy roads, trees. Everything is melted. It was in the 50’s.

Debbie - it’s an older dog. They are so calm. Windows shopping. I hope your appointment went well.

Cookie - thank you. I have a lot of baby stuff from my kids :( Oh, I forgot to mention both my kids left all their stuff when they moved out. You and Debbie are not alone, lol.

Deanna - did you get that walk in? That’s a lot of bird feeders.
