Hi,

Today was a short walk on the beach. We ran errands and had a nice lunch out. It’s been sad hearing some of the hurricane stories. Some small businesses are suffering.

Belinda - I’m sure your having a nice time for DH’s birthday.

Cookie - It sounds like you had a nice day with DS and Tito. It’s amazing the beaches aren’t too bad. The exception is the sea oats/plants have died. That helped with the prevention of beach erosion. Hopefully they will replant it was pretty too.

Hi,

Thank you for DH birthday wishes. We had a wonderful day yesterday. DD/BF came and spend the day with us. Got in a lot of steps yesterday.

Today I did JS TB tempo plus SBF stretch.

Tomorrow I have 2 PT appointments plus another appointment in the afternoon. I hope I get at least a walk in/stretch.

Have any of you done a professional teeth whitening? I had one done today at my Ortho office. Nobody tells you have to stay way from anything that can stain your teeth like raspberry, blueberries, coffee or tee for 3 day‘s. I will survive.

Debbie - walking on the beach sounds lovely. So sad what the hurricane. My heart goes out to everyone.

Cookie - nothing better than spending your Sunday with loved ones.

'Evening! Lower body and core today. Met a friend for lunch, which was a very nice break! Run into grocery store on way home and ran into another friend. A great day!

Deb, it must be so especially hard on the small business owners. That is surprising that the beaches aren't too bad. Guess those erosion efforts were working.

Belinda, glad it was a nice day for your dh. Busy day for you. I asked my dentist about it, but she said I didn't need it. Suggested using a small amount of baking power as a very light abrasive cleaner. I was happy to hear her idea and it saved me money.

Hi,

Today was a walk on the beach. We met with the contractor he wants to cut out the bottom of the walls and floor molding and replace. We didn’t think it needed it but we trust him and for mold reasons think it’s what should be done. Needless to say DH is having thoughts of selling.

Belinda - Great job with JS TB tempo plus stretch. I haven’t tried whitening but have thought about it. I bought an at home kit on QVC but haven’t used yet. I guess the tea & cofee would be tough. I recently read using the electrolyte powder mixed with water gives you energy.

Cookie - Great job with lower body & core. It’s so much fun having lunch with a friend & lucky running into another later on.

Hi,

Long day today. I had my Body Composition Testing done.They used a Bod Pod for the testing. Looks like you sitting inside a giant egg, lol She went over my numbers, made a few recommendations on how to add more protein. I lost another 2 pounds since my infusion. Since I got off all the prednisone, the weight is coming off. I will get the Metabolic testing on the end of this month. It‘s a program that was offered to me, I jumped on it. Kinda interesting!

I did SBF Upper abs. I also got a walk in between appointments. I had an hour gap.

Debbie - great job on your walk. Yikes, on what the contractor wants to do. Sorry you going through this. I heard a lot of people after the hurricane are selling in Fl. Maybe I should buy, lol

Cookie - I was told not to use baking powder on my teeth. My teeth are still a little sensitive from Invisalign. My teeth feel fine today. I think she got a little on my gums, which fired up my teeth. Nice job on your lower body and core.

'Evening! Managed to get in a walk and talk with friend during lunch. Had dinner with my uncle and a sister which was fun. Started a list for Thanksgiving prep and shopping!

Deb, it probably is best to be safe, and especially so with mold. What are you thoughts on selling v keeping?

Belinda, the body comp test sounds interesting. Are you trying to lose weight or is it coming off because now you're not on prednisone?

Hi,

Today was a walk on the beach & time spent on the beach. The cableguy came and fixed our cable unknown to us the workers working on the balcony cut the wire. Than we were reprimanded because we put some chairs on the balcony. We thought since the balconies are now open clear of wood panels and open it was allowed. Apparently we could be fined DH was not happy, rather than be too negative I will answer some of your questions each day LOL.

Belinda - The program sounds interesting and fun facts. Kudos on getting in a walk & SBF upper body. It’s crazy how some medications can put on weight, great that it is coming off.

Cookie - Sounds like you got a lot accomplished. Walks seem to go by so quickly when talking with a friend. I need to put a list together for Thanksgiving too.

Today I did JS UB Push Pull SS. I also did 30 min stretch afterwards. I will go for a walk soon.

Debbie - sorry about the cable and chairs. Yikes your HOA is strickt. I don‘t blame your husband not being happy. Sorry about all that. I hope all goes smoothly. Great job on the walk on the beach. Yeah, prednisone will cause weight gain. I am glad it finally is coming off.

Cookie - you are lucky having a friend to talk too while going for your walk. Sadie doesn‘t talk to me, lol. I never had any of those testing done before. My doctor recommended it to me. I am struggling with my weight since being on high doses of prednisone. I took it for over 4 years, never went off. Yes, I am trying to loose the weight I gained. I workout until the cows come home, it just didn‘t show my hard work. The program I am taking she thinks I am not getting enough protein. I will try to up it and see what is happening.

'evening! Got in a walk today. Also did a JS walk w/Cathe weighted vest. I hadn't used it in a very long time and wanted to try it out again.

Deb, that must have been very aggravating. And then that the cable guys cut the cable! Hope the walk on the beach was relaxing.

Belinda, I hear you on the prednisone and cortisone's. I take it and between it and menopause weight just doesn't move. I'm trying to reduce one steroid med but it all takes a long time.
