Cathe's STS 2.0 Standing Abs: Metabolic Core Warm Up is the easier of the two abdominal workouts featured in STS 2.0. In this STS 2.0 active core routine, you will use a barbell plate as you move through a variety of fun standing core exercises to thoroughly warm up your midsection. Lighter weights will be used so that you can focus on core engagement without your shoulders taking over the exercises. A dumbbell option will also be shown.

This workout is a perfect dynamic core warm up in addition to being more of an intermediate standing core workout. My favorite combo is doing this standing core workout followed immediately by the more challenging standing abs: core plus floor workout
YES, I thought it would be a wonderful warm up. I plan on using it on Sundays, before my yoga workout. Bit of a break, but enough there to feel good for the day.
 
Yes! This is perfect. Saturdays are my recovery day. I do a short 10-15 min. light cardio (usually a walking video) followed by a core workout. I then wrap up with a nice 20 minute stretch. On Tuesdays and Thursdays (my strength training days), I do my "hard core" work, but I've been wanting something less aggressive for my recovery day. I think this is it. :)
