Hi Everyone! Below is a copy and paste of my answer to a forum members question regarding Cathe TV along with a video clip. After answering it I thought it might be something you would all like to see. Here is my response to her (which contains some new information in it)....
Hi Michelle! Thanks for your interest. Cathe TV is not an actual TV or cable show, it is our own web “show” that we are launching on our new upgraded Workout Manager page (coming VERY soon). In other words you will access Cathe TV right here on the website. Cathe TV will be filmed in our studio (and at times even in our health club) as a way of helping to educate, motivate and inform our customers about fitness topics and our DVDs. In a few days we will also be bringing interns on board with us who will be assisting us in filming some special weekly features and shows. So be sure to stay tuned for our new forum called “Tell the Interns what you would like to See” as they will be taking suggestions from you and creating special shows from some of your requests. While we have many educational tutorials that we are planning on sharing with you, we also are looking forward to creating things as we go along. For instance one of our forum members asked about “DVD bloopers”. These are some of the fun things we can include. I am also going to be doing STS with everyone and will check in either daily or weekly to see how we are all doing. So you see, Cathe TV will be like our own personal show.
This past week we have been working diligently on recordings for Cathe TV. Here is a sample of one of the many things you can expect from Cathe TV. What you are about to see on this link is a One Arm Row video. You will actually see me doing a one arm row along with muscle animation so that you can really key in on how the muscles work while doing this action. That was really neat to do. We had a muscle movement video shoot and then had a medical illustrator analyze the film and draw my muscles into the moving video. It was actually quite amazing. By the way, as long as you have DSL or cable you can click “watch in high quality” on the bottom right hand corner of the You Tube Viewing screen and you will see this clip in full focus, definition, and clarity. The quality is almost as good as watching a DVD. What a difference! When we launch Cathe TV we will have a separate page with all of our programs listed and our own player. This current clip is just on a standard YouTube page. Enjoy!
