We've just posted the following in our Blog:

We’ve spent the last two days here at our facility in Glassboro with the top executives of Altus discussing our marketing strategy plans and reviewing the new products that we will introduce into our Fitness by Cathe accessory line later this year. In addition to our meetings, Cathe spent most of the day yesterday in a photo shoot for the packaging for the new FBC products. Though we will wait for a later date to introduce most of the new products to you, we can now share with you that we will be taking presale orders for the STS- Pushup/Pull Up Tower starting on Monday, April 20th through Friday, May 8th.

This will be a limited first production run exclusively just for our online customers. Since we’re only ordering as many units as we have orders for, cancellations will not be allowed (All sales will be final). If you have any doubts about ordering please wait until the STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower is available for the general public towards the end of 2009.

We expect to have our initial shipment of STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower’s in our hands in about 3 months from now. Obviously, this is not a guarantee and delays can certainly happen on a new product. So, please don’t preorder unless you’re willing to wait more than the projected 3 months.

The STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower is easy to move around and breaks down in less than a few minutes for easy storage. Though the STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower’s has been tested by and independent testing lab to be able to handle up to 500 lb’s, we don’t suggest using a barbell weight of more than 100 lb’s on the unit. You should use a bench press for heavier weights for obvious safety reason.

The STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower has been designed for the user who wants to be able to do Pushups, Pull Ups and Bench Presses, but doesn’t have the room or wants to invest in heavier, bigger and more expensive fitness equipment. The STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower can easily be moved by just one person. This patent pending tower has also been designed to easily be used with your step for flat and incline barbell bench presses. It also makes it easier for you to change the weights on your barbell for all of your exercises.

Please note that this is a limited time offer and we are ONLY taking orders until May 8th 2009. After May 8th 2009 we will no longer be accept STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower orders. Therefore, don't forget to place your order as soon as possible. As an added "early bird" bonus, you will receive a coupon code in you confirmation email that will give you 20% off on any product purchased between May 1, 2009 and May 31, 2009 from http://www.shopcathe.com/(please note this excludes the new STS series).

The Fitness by Cathe STS - Pushup/Pull Up Tower presale price is $129.99 +s/h. You may also use any coupons you currently have for http://www.shopcathe.com/ and enjoy additional savings when ordering. Any additional FBC products or DVDs you also order will ship now, but you will only have to pay shipping once.

More details and ordering information will be provided shortly.

Are there more specifics on the Tower itself? Specifically dimensions - when one "breaks it down" what does that mean, storage-wise. Will this slide under a bed, in a closet, etc? Thanks!!

I do not want to sound completely stupid but is this the piece of equipment we have seen the ladies use in STS? Holy cow, I hope so. I am jumping for joy if it is and what a fabulous price.

I suppose you have answered the question for me regarding why the men are using traditional bench for presses.

One more question...We can use our current 20% off from odering STS Cardio? Really?

Anyone who can respond please do.
Annette

Yes this is the piece of equipment they use in STS for chipups/pullups and also as a weight bench. I was also wondering if we can use our 20% coupon from ordering STS cardio for the Power Tower?

I'm curious why there is a shipping and handling fee. Since it is current policy at ShopCathe for any order over $99 to have free shipping and handling and this item is most definitely over that amount, shouldn't the shipping and handling be free?

Yes, it is the same piece of equipment you see in STS with just a few improvements. Any yes you can use your coupon from purchasing STS Shock Cardio towards your purchase.

I'm primarily interested in the tower for bench presses with a barbell. I have a standard bench and I was wondering if the tower will work with that, or is it better suited for use with a step? Thank you!

Can this P/P Tower also be used as a squat rack?

thanks!

No, you would not want to use the STS Tower as a squat rack. It's not tall enough to be used as a squat rack, nor has it been designed to handle the stress, safety and load requirements of squats.

I'm super excited about this product. I'm very excited about the pre-order!
Does the base of the tower have a non-scratching surface. If not what should we place under the base? I have a laminate floor in my workout area and don't want to scuff it. Thus I use cloths instead of paper plates for lunges. Obviously I don't want to have the tower slide while I'm doing a pull up. Also please what are the Tower dimensions?

So glad I waited and didn't go buy something similiar. Oh my poor credit card, but definately looking forward to owning this.

Hi,
For those of us with somewhat uneven basement floors, are there adjustable feet to make the tower stable?

Thanks!
Wendy
