Hi Bam and thanks for writing! I have had pain in my right arm (started with elbow, now is in shoulder too) since Oct 08. Also have had trouble with plantar fascitis for years. ming chew book "permanent pain cure"

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has tried the Ming Method to help shoulder pain or any other kind of muscle or joint pain, anywhere in the body. This book was recommended in Oxygen magazine a while back. I have tried some of the techniques, with some good results. I admit I have not used...

I do remember reading it years ago - and feeling like it opened my eyes to some issues about sugar in food that I had never thought about before!

not happy with jari's "extremely ripped"

I do like several of her other DVDs - Slim and Lean, Ripped and Chiseled in particular. But this new one, Extremely, is not one I'd recommend. Note the DVDs are cheaper - but there is a reason - if you are used to the great chaptering, premixes, mix 'n match etc. on Cathe's DVDs - be aware...

not happy with jari's "extremely ripped"

Has anyone else gotten this DVD and have any opinions about it? I am really curious as to what other people think of it. I am considering sending it back, and I almost never return a workout DVD. I like the music and the energetic feel to it, but I am not happy with (1) the lack of decent...

    Cathe, STS Shock Cardio Request

I agree! It would be wonderful to show a low-impact modifier as one of the participants in the video! I would really, really appreciate this. I love intensity, and my feet and knees love low impact versions of intensity.

How firm is your stability ball?

easy to calculate circumference yourself, if you want to It's simple to calculate the circumference yourself with any calculator. The formula is 2 * PI * radius. So for 55 cm this is 55 * 3.14159 (using a common approximation of PI; also the diameter of 55 is equal to 2 * radius). Anyway...

How firm is your stability ball?

I actually measure mine to see if they are the size they are stated to be - I've got a 55 cm and a 65 cm. Using a tape measure or yardstick it's pretty easy to do. They are very firm this way, I only get a little indent from either one.

    rotation download problems

Becky, thanks so much for writing. I don't want to save it to my calendar though - I want to download it to my hard drive. I have all of the prior Cathe rotations on my hard drive so I can look at them and pick whatever I want from the last many years! I want to get the STS ones downloaded too.

When are you doing your abs?

I also like to do abs on the same day as cardio. I have been doing this for a couple of years and will continue to do it with STS. I don't know if there are advantages or disadvantages going either way, so to me it's just personal preference.
