    Eggs

I just found out a nearby farmers market offers eggs. That's not typical around here ~ usually we get fruits, veggies, breads, and cheeses only. I have to ask ~ is it me, or are EB eggs "fluffier" (for lack of a better word). I definitely notice a difference between them and generic eggs...

    But&Guts Question Please help!!!

Hi Trinity, :) B&G is one tough lower body workout, but I would say you could probably get it in 3 times a week safely provided you separated the workouts with a day of something else, like cardio. I'm currently doing legs twice a week and enjoying that. (I may try 3 times a week at some...

Slow and Heavy Week of Aug. 30th

Hi Ladies, :) MMA Kickbox on the heavy bag this morning with S&H Legs this afternoon. As everyone has pointed out, the cardio wasn't super intense, but I like to pair an easier workout with a leg DVD. I think I could have gone heavier with my poundage ~ we'll see if I'm sore tomorrow. I...

    Push-Ups!!!

That you did the first 2 sets on your toes is pretty awesome...hardly a weakling! Doing the 3 month rotation won't hurt you at all, in my opinion. Plenty go through the STS program without doing all the push ups on their toes. (I know my push ups get pretty darn shallow as the workout...

    the after burn

It varies. Sometimes I feel fried right after the workout, and sometimes I don't feel a thing until the next day. The degree of DOMS varies too, from nothing to exactly what Last Tango described ----> .

    more challenging bike ride

One other question: Do you have stairs in your house? Sometimes I get it in my head to run up and down the stairs in my living room for a quick cardio blast, and it's pretty effective. Another cardio option that won't cost much is a jump rope.

    What helps your PMS bloat?

I wish I could help. A heating pad makes me feel better, but obviously one cannot walk around with that. My daughter has had some success with Pamprin too.

    more challenging bike ride

Can you pedal pretty fast and/or stand up while pedaling on that bike? If so, you could try a spinning DVD. I used to have a bike and spinning workout, and it was tough. I got rid of the bike a few years ago to make room, and now I'm sorry. In addition, have you heard of Cardio Coach? You...

    Scary Restaurant Foods! Yuck!

I'd eat that Chocolate Motherlode Cake in a heartbeat. Maybe not all in one sitting, but I'd definitely kill it off eventually.

    My Short-Lived Internet Dating Experience

It sounds like your instincts are right on. I like the idea of focusing on yourself and perhaps getting involved with the community through a church or some other means. I've told my girls a few times that if they want to increase their chances of meeting a great guy, volunteer for Habitat For...

Slow and Heavy Week of Aug. 30th

Happy Birthday! :) A Hardcore Extreme cardio workout is waiting for me right now, and I have S&H Chest and Back on tap for this afternoon or evening. It's been well over a year since I've done a S&H rotation, so I have no clue what's in store for me. Yikes! Hope the kids have a fun...

    Rest Days

Yes, I do. While I'm sure it's good for my body, I've noticed it's a nice mental break too. One day off, and I'm ready to jump back in.

Shock Cardio Boxing and Meso 3 STS

I agree ~ the boxing routine pairs up well. I like to combine it with a leg day, as it isn't as taxing on the lower body as some of Cathe's bootcamp and step routines, but you still work hard.
