    STS for MP3 Players

Does anyone know how much the STS Gym program will be? Is it mentioned anywhere on the website? Any info as to when it's coming out or if the program is the same as on DVD? Any info is appreciated. I pre-ordered, but I'm thinking of canceling and waiting for STS Gym so that I do not have to...

    How to include circuits...or not?

I'd think a recovery week is a RECOVERY WEEK. No weights, just give those muscles some time to fully recover and grow, time for joints and tendons to recover and grow back stronger. So when you get to the next mesocycle, you're stronger and ready to work harder!

Who has had the flu this year?

Started feeling sick on a Tuesday while I was on vacation/work on the Big Island of Hawaii training with another acupuncturist. I had coughs and body aches and fever on Wed. and Thurs. The vog (the fog from the erupting volcano on the Big Island) didn't help - my chest was tight (I had asthma...

    STS

Hi everyone who has been debating whether or not to purchase STS. I was one of you and then I caved. I made myself a deal. I sold my P90X for $100.00 on ebay to offset the cost. I've viewed P90X, but it never really clicked for me - I'd much rather be working out with Cathe. And I did the...

Can you help me decide if STS is for me?

Hi Erica - Do you think purchasing STS and using the dvds just for variety's sake, especially mesocycle #1 & #2 is enough to justify our purchase? If and when we decide we really want to do the whole program, then we can go out and purchase more dumbbells. $200 is not much for 37 new dvds...

Can you help me decide if STS is for me?

Thanks, Vrinda - for clearing that up. So now I'm just concerned with purchasing heavier dumbbells. I do want this program, just because it's Cathe and more workouts. I don't know that I can stick to the program as it's laid out. But then again, it's just more variety. I'm thinking of...

Can you help me decide if STS is for me?

Hi there - I haven't preordered yet. My concern is having to purchase heavier dumbbells to do Mesocycle #3. Does anyone else have that concern? I love lifting, however, I like choosing on the spur of the moment whatever dvd suits my fancy. I'm not too fanatic with having bigger or...

    being preyed upon....

As for me, I'm doing the OPPOSITE...I'm not one to promote anything, but I quietly lurk and read all the recommendations and promotions and then go buy them all and sit happily with all my new stuff! Oh! Accept for acupuncture, I do plug that in now and again because when someone asks for...

Any success in dealing with knee tendonitis?

Has anyone tried acupuncture and Chinese herbs for knee problems? I am an acupuncturist and treat quite a bit of knee problems...tendonitis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. I use electro-acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas made specifically for acute or chronic knee pain. My...

    Classical Stretch question

I really like the Essentric dvd, although I've only tried one of the lower body workouts. It is actually a workout. Different from Cathe and weights that is for sure. There are a lot of work done on one leg with the other leg out to the front or side or back. One exercise would be balancing...

    getting back into my routine

I like to use Jari Love workouts when I'm tired, recovering or bleeding (menses). I find that it is a lot easier than working out with Cathe - with the lighter weight and fewer exercises per body part. It is a very doable workout for those used to Cathe's intensity, but who want to take it...

    Ballet dvd...anyone recommend one?

Balletone dvds (there are three of them on collage). If you type in a search for ballet on Collage - there's a bunch including the ones already mentioned that will pop up. Jennifer Kries has short ballet segments in most of her dvds. Also, a lot of exercises in Classical Stretch newest dvds...

    Which Rykas?

The Ryka N-Gage Studio Mids are my favorite. I have the Enlights II which I also like, the Mid Studios have a lot of bounce and are lower around the ankle than the Instructors. I've purchased at least six pairs from walkingsue. Enjoy!

    Fibromyalgia

My husband is a naturopathic physician (for 20 years now) and treats fibromyalgia and other serious auto-immune disorders and debilitating illnesses successfully all the time. Trouble is, people are not open to the treatment as many times it includes a lifestyle change with severe dietary...

    Need advice for muscle definition

Congratulations! Sounds like you're in great shape. I would continue building more muscle via GS and S&H, then when it looks like you're really beginning to bulk up, do more muscle endurance and full body work outs like Muscle Max and Power Hour, still going as heavy as you can. Those work...

    Help!! My Christmas Tree......

Thanks for your responses. I thought that cutting off at the stump would probably save my tree, but I really don't want to un-decorate the tree. I'm sad, but I'll remember this next year. I've been misting the tree with water to try to keep it from drying out too quickly, but I can see that...

    Help!! My Christmas Tree......

My Christmas tree has stopped drinking water. My husband checked the stand after getting home one night and there wasn't any water in the stand. He filled the stand up with water, but it hasn't gone down much since that night. Any suggestions to keep my Christmas tree alive besides talking to...
