Help me get my motivation back!

Thanks Jo They're great suggestions. I know I'll enjoy it when I get going but it's just that first push I need. Weird how you forget what you have - I always tend to gravitate towards S&H and PS as I'm a heavy weights girl but they just don't rock my boat at the moment. Your...

Help me get my motivation back!

I seem to be struggling to get my motivation back to pick up the weights consistently. I cycle about 75-100 miles a week as I commute off road to work so I'm not too bad on cardio but I just can't seem to get up to enthusiasm for hitting the poundage. I'm working very hard at the moment...

    A Very Sad Day!

Very sorry to hear your sad news - I lost my beloved pussy-cat after 15 years a couple of months ago and I was devastated. My best wishes to you and your family at this sad time.

What Do You Do For A Living?

Great thread! I'm a web analysis manager, running a team who do weird techie webbie things for a large international blue chip company with head office in the UK.

How many hours a week do you workout?

I commute to work off road by bike for 1 and a half hours a day, 5 days a week. I then do a split weights routine 3 or 4 days a week in the evenings (dependant on how I feel). So even though I'm in the over 7 hours a week bracket I think of myself in the 3/4 hours one as cycling is both a...

    cathe- premixes

HUGE "thumbs up" for the premixes - never had any problems and love them to bits. Never used the Workout Blender. Never felt the need. The variety and quality are the reason I buy Cathe's dvds. I'm even prepared to suffer the additional shipping and import tax costs just to get them into...

What Hardcore workout are you most excited about?

I was desperate for some new non-endurance weight workouts so the Gym Style ones sound like they they are going to fit the bill just brilliantly. Next comes the stretch and then the KickBox which is something I really enjoy. I cycle heaps so don't really use cardio dvd workouts much so...

Imax III and heavy weight training 6 day split

This idea has got my vote....! Love that Slow and Heavy and with the ability to separate weights and cardio days OR mix them up, it's a sure fire winner as far as I'm concerned. Fingers crossed that Cathe creates something like this next!!!

    One body part per day

Yep - sounds great! I looooooove Cathe's weight workouts and advanced, heavy, style ones, like S&H, are my favs.:)

    advance level weigt training please?

Definately! I love S&H and PS. Just like two body parts per work out I guess.

MIS/one upper body part once a week

I work upper body parts once per week only and as long as you go heavy enough you can get excellent results - I have! However, I would recommend Slow and Heavy and Pure Strength series for this. Particularly S&H if you are really after muscular development. Just my thoughts...

What's Cathe's Lean Out Rotation look like?

    >I tried searching for, but didn't find it. >Can someone help, please? I think you mean Cathe's July 2003 rotation. Quoting Cathe: "The July Rotation focuses on fat loss and definition. You will do a mix of cardio and weight training with moderate weight." It's near the top of the...

    which one? and why?

Everyone here is so right. (Aren't they great!!!) Weight/strength training is extremely important. I had a really serious car crash quite a few years ago now (car went off a 30 ft high bridge with me in it!) and I was told by the doctors and specialist that my injuries would have been...
