XTrain 90 Day Undulating Rotation

hi everybody!

so happy to have gotten some sleep last night! figured i would have the energy, so i added the cardio from hard strikes to bis and tris burn sets. also did core 1. felt really good. hard strikes is such a nice sweat!

buneknek-- love super cuts! it's been over a week (or more?) since i did it, but thought it was great!

eva-- sorry you had crappy sleep, too! i get insomnia on and off, and if i let it, it literally drives me crazy. so, i was happy it was just the one night-- sometimes i go for a week where i am just not able to sleep well- and of course it doesn't help that my partner snores! hope you got some good sleep as well! good to hear your foot is healing:)

headed to two of my son's chamber music performances tonight, so it should be a nice one. hope everyone has a good thursday!
 
Katied glad u got in hs n bi n tri! Wtg. I didnt sleep last night becuse DH snores, it was about 3:30 off n on all night i kept poking him i got mad an got on couch. I know its not his fault but at night im grouchy. Lol

Amcad i dont know about you but i lpve HS.. I read on the forums some people didnt lke it! I dont know why not! Lol it is high impact i feel like as soon as i felt oh no this is starting to hurt my feet she stoped to do punches. Like it was the right amount for me.

Eva did u get the taxes done? Ouch ! That is a brain workout id say. Hope ur foot feels better. Ya i had multiple surgeries on these things and pf. I am good now, so far but the other day just felt like it needed popped or it was needing to be broken..hum confused .

I am at work but im supose to do AOLIH. I hope i have energy to. My eyes have been at half mass all day! We r all still hanging in there! Yaaaaa girls! !! Oh who here plans,on a road trip? Man id love to but hate,traceling throu 6 states alone! Eeek.
 
on my 3rd week, it's definitely getting easier, the first week was brutal. I did cardio leg blast yesterday and my pants and scrunchy wouldn't stay on with all the work I was doing. I may have over done it because i am super tired today and am having horrible stomach pains, I am going to try to do hard strikes but I am not sure how my body will react. I am thinking if i do all 90 days I am going to treat myself to some more cathe dvd's, i've been eyeing up bodymax 2.
 
I did legs today & for the first time I used 1.5AW. I was afraid at first but when I finished actually not bad! It was a really nice burn & hoping to get some DOMS tomorrow.

I'm on my 3rd week of 90day rotation & really loving the result. I'm not so much of trying to loose weight but more of toning I'm 4'10 & 105 lbs. I notice my abs & arms are getting some definition & even my coworkers notice my arms! Yay!

I did not get my workout in today because I ended up having to work late unexpectedly. I work from home tomorrow, so I plan to double up. I have bis and tris and legs scheduled, so I may done one in the evening and one in the morning and then I'll be back on track.

Congrats on the toning, Raciela. That's awesome! I don't think I'm really seeing any true results yet, but I'm happy with my progress nonetheless.

My toe was kind of bugging me today, so it may be for the best that I did not workout. I think I'll do legs first and then bis and tris, and get the hard workout out of the way first. :)

I did start my taxes, Renee, but since I'm still waiting for a few other forms I could not finish. It's more that I always plan it so I get a refund, so I like to start getting excited about that. We usually take the refund and put it towards something...this year it's going in the kitchen reno funds, so I'm particularly excited about it this year. :D My kitchen is so horrible, so the thought of updating it is very exciting!

TGIF tomorrow!! I am *so* ready for the weekend.

Katied, I hope you enjoyed the recital. My niece and nephew both played instruments and I miss going to theirs now that they are both at college.

Today I did Legs premix 2, which was the whole workout without rear delts. I definitely like the standing portion of this workout better than the barre and the floor sections. I think those will start to have a dread factor for me at some point. I have not look ahead yet, but it is likely I will sub STS legs from Meso 2 for the second 30 day cycle instead of the XTrain legs. This workout is very boring and unappealing for me for some reason. I love the cardio legs workout, though.

I plan to do bis and tris and rear delts later today, so I'll check in again if I am successful.

You. Look. AMAZING!!! You've got the arms I'm working for over here.

On that note, I did bis and tris burnsets today with the 100 rep challenges for both. I didn't really want to, but I did it anyway and I'm glad I did, especially after seeing those guns.

That's the motivation I need! Thanks for posting that awesome picture.

Renee, how did you like the entire Hard Strikes workout? I have yet to do the conditioning drills outside of the push up/sit up section. I only did that one because I was super curious about it. I'm not familiar with the Yogi workouts, but I've seen some ladies chatting about that on the other forum. You did two workouts today!! Woo HOO!!!:D

Eva i really liked it, it has shoulder presses, bicsp curls all low weight. Some sit up punch then sit up crisscross. I was trying to work my shoulders out. I did some thing to it when i was doing rear delts. It feels like i need to pop it. Not good i can feel it clicking when i do rear delts.
But hard stikes in its entirity is a great wo, got cardio and muscle work n core.. Sounds perfect doesnt it?
Ya i agree those are arms im working towards!
 
Hi Everyone!

Okay, another night of insomnia last night:mad:. Renee-- I chuckled when I read your post because-- you guessed it-- once again Rik's snoring was the start of it all! I get really grouchy at night, too, especially when I am being kept up. He was snoring so loudly at about 1:30 that I couldn't stand it. Wrapped my head in the pillow, pushed him several times (but he was already on his side facing away from me). Tried flipping around so my head was at his feet. No luck.:(. I wish we had the option of separate sleeping spaces, but with three kids, we are maxed out on bedrooms. Oh well-- hoping I sleep through whatever he throws at me tonight!

I did get my workout in today despite feeling tired. I did all out l.i. Hiit, and added on burn sets shoulders and the 100 rep challenge. Maybe that will help me sleep tonight...:confused:

Oh, and great job on the workouts Renee!!

Eva-- i hear you on the legs workout, but like how i get DOMS the next day, so will try and stick with it. The recitals were great, thanks! My oldest has an audition tomorrow morning, bright and early, at the U of M music school. He wants to go there next year as a junior (in high school) to study violin and viola. Hoping all goes well for him! Glad you got your workouts in!! Two in one day-- go you! oh, and I like HS, too! Great workout-- toning is short bu tough.

Katied oh my goodness! Yes i sleep with head at the bottom too sometimes it works sometimes it dont. Alot of times i turn the tv on and up to distrat me. It helps some but man if he is to loud i turn it up so loud he wakes up and it is as loud as his snoring lol. He appoligizes. I hate trying to go to work after all that and then at times i have a headache. Hey thats probly why i awake with head hurtin! His snoring is like a jack hammer!

Oh how old are u kids did u say?
Mine are 22 and 24, it went by fast and i feel to young! People my age still have teens. I strated early i guess.

Renee and Katied-I can totally relate to insomnia due to someone snoring! Earplugs work wonders, now only if I'd remember to get more! Two of our 3 kids sleep in one room, so I'm able to go and sleep in the spare room. It does feel fantastic to finally fall asleep around 1 and have to get up at 4:30am to workout...can u sense my sarcasm? It's either my DH or the kids who keep me up...they are 7, 4 and 1.
I haven't been faithful with tracking food. I know I should, but I don't. What the heck is the barrier there? I don't understand myself! I am I'm week 4 of 90 day und rot. I'm going to do burn sets, chest and shoulders. I'm not by my workout DVDs right now, but I'm pretty sure that's the one. My goal is to track food every day this week.
By the way, I've been reading about everyone's progress and seeing your arm pics that show some serious guns. Great work! I'd do personals, but I'm in bed, typing on my phone, and no one is up yet so I don't want to walk to the computer and risk waking the young people up.

This is what I intend to do today. I have not done it yet either, but it's only 52 minutes long and according to the workout manager it burns about 500 calories, so I'm thinking it's not going to really be that brutal.

Thanks Eva! I just finished it & definitely a great workout! I did not wear my sweat band so my sweat was all over my step, LOL! Rest day for me tomorrow then starting my 4th week next week!

I'm still loving my NB shoes so glad I purchased it!

Well my progress im wondering was it a fluk i looked at my arm again and it dont look like my pic now! Im like well crap was it the lighting? Lol.
Im on MFP and only thing is peolle keep telling me to eat more tnat gets old fast because i was eating back exercise cal, last yr and i gained im only 5 ft 1 and i think it only goes to 1200 a day.idea is to create a deficet every day but my tdee js 1600 if i exercise it creates one BUT if i eat back my calories there isnt a def! I try to explain it but i still here i have to eat my cal back. No thanks i gained 6 pounds. I have enough prkblems telling myself to eat less without others telling me to eat more. So anyway some days i eat half my cal back some days not. On occasion i go over ! Oops lol
I hope to lose 25 or ill. Take 20 at thiss point! I need to lose 35 to b honest but im 43 so tryn to be realistic. So i was tjinking about WW have you heard about or tried that?, i see alot of food in the store with points on it i may try it!

r u planning on doing the extreme also? I never tried those because like afterburn it is hard and to repeat stuff that hard well thats hard! But id like to try! Im wondering if i can do imax 2 cpuld i do extreme premix? Im on my next to last day of week four. So got tomorrow to do then rest day. Then i can go to week 5 ! Cant wait to flip my calender over! Lol

I just finished AOLI Extreme premix and it was a sweatfest. I actually rearranged it a little bit because I did not want to go back to the floor section after gliding discs, so I repeated it after the step section. It was just mentally easier for me that way, I think. You like, Raciela, I got a great workout. I also did STS No Equipment abs. I burned 650 calories. Today is my cheat day, so I always try to do over 500 calories today to compensate for a little splurging. This premix was definitely doable for those of you whom might be thinking of giving it a go.

Tomorrow is also my rest day and I think I'll do some yoga. Then I start week 4 next week (Raciela you and I are on the schedule now that I had to repeat week 3, it seems).

Renee, I have never tried Imax 2 extreme. I have that as a download, so I just do it as it is produced. The Workout blender does not work on my mac for some reason so I don't alter any of the downloads I have. You can give it a try and do your best. if you don't finish it or have to modify, no biggie! You still got a great workout. :D

I hope those of you who have been wrestling with poor sleep this week have a nice relaxing weekend, as best you can...I guess that's almost impossible when you have little folks at home. I don't have any kids, so my house is pretty quiet all the time.

I have done WW online, and it was ok, but it did not really do much for me. I was already a pretty clean eater, so there was not a lot of dietary change that I made. It did make me more conscious of portion sizes, but I like MFP much better. Since food is comprised of calories and not points in the "real world", I like using the real calorie system much better. Then I don't have to be bound to WW for the rest of my life, paying a monthly fee to use their point system forever.
