It was really scary! I threw it away & did not even look what was in it! I was so glad only took half serving,lol.

I just finished Chest Shoulders and Back. I am going to repeat week three, but will be moving the days around depending on how my foot is feeling. I hope to do Cardio Legs tomorrow, but we'll see.

Buneknek, sorry about your pre-workout scare. Workout supplements really freak me out, but that's because I have not done a lot of research on them. I do remember reading that a lot of folks use caffeine as a pre-workout drink to get them really energized, but it sounds like that formula had just a wee bit too much. Glad you were feeling better by the end of your workout. Also, thanks for the lead on the discount at Zappos. I paid full price for them at the NB store in my local mall, but I think I might order a new pair from Zappos to hold on to for future usage.

Katied, way to power through those workouts! You must have burned a boatload of calories.

Eva-Definitely will never try those stuff again! Not worth it at all! I threw it away & did not really know what was in it. I am weaning myself from the caffeine & so stupid of me to try it knowing that there's tons of caffeine in it. LOL!

So I'm back from my long weekend without any workout access. I was going to do a workout today when I got home, but was just too exhausted. I'm planning on picking it up tomorrow with legs. Seems like everyone's been doing an awesome job, keep it up! :0)

It looks like everyone is keeping with it-great job! Renee, nice pics! I "think" I see some definition in my arms as well. This weekend, my family and I were away for a long weekend. Although my DH and I worked out on Friday and went sledding up a huge ski slope on Saturday, I ate way too much (and drank some really yummy martinis). Oh, well. The scale was moving, but now it's moving in the wrong direction:(. I also quit my online WW membership when I found out how much I was paying each month! So, I am using "Lose It" on my iphone to track, but I miss some of the support and stories on WW. Does anyone have a cheaper alternative to WW online that offers support that is kind of close to WW?
I just started Week 4, Day 1 (Legs). I don't have time this morning to do delts, so I'll do that later today.

did chest, back and shoulders today plus core 1 and the 100 rep lateral raises. we'll see if i am sore tomorrow;)

thanks eva! yeah, it felt good to burn so many calories! i can definitely use that:) how's your foot?

jen-- i don't know of any, but i know we all back peddle sometimes, especially when it comes to vacations! it's great that you are getting right back into it, though!

amcad-- hope you can get your workout in!

renee-- thanks for the info on the novacaine! that was probably the case. makes me less nervous to go to the dentist. last time i went in and had a filling and told them no novacaine: i sweat so much during that process it looked like i had peed myself when i got off the chair!:eek: would not like to repeat that ever again!!

WOOOO week 2 completed, lost 3 pounds and I seeing my body being transformed. So happy cuz yesterday I was able to do planks without being on my knees, I;ve been trying for years to accomplish that. Next goal real push ups! Loving this rotation, I can't believe the results I am getting so early on!

Congrats rainaries on the weight loss! That is awesome. This rotation is definitely kicking some butt for a lot of folks weight and fitness-wise. What a great way to start the new year!;) Real push-ups were my big fitness goal last year and I managed to accomplish that. I still can't do as many as Cathe and crew, but I'm up from doing zero this time last year. I can pretty much do a set of 12-16, but more than that is brutal. And the slow ones still stink, but it's getting better! So, if you make that your goal for this year, you can totally accomplish it. It's definitely doable!

Thanks for asking about my foot, katied. Today I did Hard Strikes and did it high impact, and I was doing OK. My toe was a little sore here and there, so instead of "jump ropes" I found it a little kinder to do running in place. I also ran in place instead of doing the scissors, but that's because I HATE that move, for some reason. I did the three tabatas and burned 500 calories, so I am happy with my workout today. I am going to do Cardio Legs tomorrow and hopefully get back on track rotation-wise.

I upped my weights by 2# yesterday when I did CBS but still no DOMS today. I'm not sure why, as I am definitely lifting heavy enough to be dying on the last 2-3 reps. I might try to increase from 22# to 25# for chest exercises next week to see what happens. I'd like some DOMS!

Welcome back, jaypea. Like Renee, I also use myfitnesspal and I love it. I also did WW online for several months, but I only used it to track food, so I cannot speak to whether the support on MFP is comparable, but there are definitely very active forums where folks keep each other motivated. There's the occaisional troll, but such is life on the intertubes. It is a totally free resource and you can also use it to track your exercises. I also like that it works on real calories and not points. Food is comprised of calories, so I think it's helpful to understand how much is in each food so that you can be self-sufficient at some point.

amcad, I hope you were able to squeeze your workout in today!

Eva thats great about ur pushups. And ur toe. Where was ur toe hurt? Mine was hurting to is y i ask not real bad but the bone under the big toe on ball of foot hum

I am supose to do legs but im still sore from jog and HIIT sunday. And my toe lol so tomorrow is bi and tri burn sets again so i may do that today and legs tomorrow. Right now im waiting on head to feel better before i lift heavy. Wish me luck!
 
Checking in...I did CArdio leg blast + 100 hip thrust challenge yesterday...my butt cheeks & inner thigh were sore today! This am I did CBS & went up a little heavy with some moves like with chest & back but shoulder is hard for me to add more weights...its my weak part of my body I guess! Then I add 100 lateral raise use 5lbs. I am feeling that I will be sore on my back but chest is probably not.

I did end up getting my workout in today! But it was Hard Strikes, not legs like I'd like. I figure I'll just squeeze legs in somewhere else this week

Ok i did not do wo last night.. Headache was still tjere and i knew i wouldnt want to lift anytjing and feel like it would bust. So had a reast day and it helped! I did double up today yest i was to do legs premix one and today burn sets bi and tris. I felt good i didnt want to push to hard so i did legs and evaluated how i was feeling., i felt fine so i moved on to bis and i felt fine and finished up on tris and did a core #1 only the first 1/4 of it lol then i stretched with bi n tri dvd n did my own leg stretch. I burn 617 calories! Not bad for me.

I went the same in weight except for the concentration curls. I went up alittle on it. I love these wo because im nowhere near advanced in weights and i got frustrated with Cathes other dvds cause i cant do barbells these dvds on her upperbody weights is so adaptable! I think a beginner could do it! Use lighter weights/ i use to me med weights lol to u all its light. I use 10 and 12 for bis 15 back 5 and 8 for tris.
Anyway im having a good time with this rotation. I was bumed at first with no supercuts or tabata yet. But im glad it makes u wait, it gets me excited all over again and 4 th week ur feel like ok i already now this and then new stuff pops up.

Amcad nice job on hardstrikes. I like that one for after work because it helps shake out my legs and butt that i been basicly sittn on all day!

hi everyone!

*so tired* today as my partner stayed up watching a movie and when he came to bed it woke me up-- especially when he started to snore:(. so, i have been up since 2:30. not feeling so hot, but did get my legs workout in anyway and added the rear delts, which afterwards realized was probably a no-no since i did chest, back and shoulders yesterday. but, i only have doms today in my shoulders and chest, so am hoping i didn't overtrain my back. i will survive;)

renee-- sorry to hear about your headaches! that is such a bummer, but way to get those workouts in! i am thinking of adding hard strikes to my bis and tris tomorrow just to burn some extra calories. way to go on the calorie burn! and hope the headaches leave you alone!

eva-- good to hear that your foot continues to improve! i am so grateful that no body parts are feeling injured this week-- knock on wood!! oh, and i hate that scissors move as well!!

amcad- glad you got your workout in, even if it was different then what you planned.

raciela-- shoulders are always the hardest for me, too, not sure why? think my upper body is pretty strong from the years of ashtanga yoga, but somehow the shoulders must be neglected. they are flexible, but need to get stronger. great job on the workouts!

rainaries-- congrats on the results!! woo hoo!!

Renee, I too am sorry that you are still battling those headaches. What a bummer. Do you know what triggers them? Are they migraines or something less severe? You asked about my toe, it's the one next to my big toe on my right foot (my fiance and his brother were talking about the fact that toes don't really have names like fingers do!). I dropped a cookie sheet on it last week and it's been sore as you know what since then. It's a little better every day, but it definitely derailed me last week. I'm sorry your foot is hurting you. Did you injure it or is it just a recurring condition that you have? You've mentioned before that you have crappy feet (as do I)...makes some workouts more challenging, but you are not letting that stop you, obviously!!

Today I did Cardio Leg Blast. I finished that and half of the core and then I just ran out of time. I also am kind of scratchy in the throat and started to feel light headed during my workout, so I was not that motivated to spend 10 more minutes working out after the clock ticked over to an hour. I packed it in and called it a day. Tomorrow I do bis and tris if I am feeling well and hope to add on core # 2 and a challenge. I did burn 600 calories today, which I'm happy about.

Katied, way to push through after being up since 2:30. I also had a crappy sleep for the second night in a row, which was not helping me with my workout today. Rest is so important to being able to have the energy to workout with Cathe! You're a warrior for getting it done today. I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.

Raciela, congrats on your killer workout today too. I've got to get that barbell pad and get serious about those hip thrusts. My bum is something I'm always complaining about, so I need to commit to those for this rotation and see what kind of results I get.

amcad, glad you managed to get a workout out in. Hard Strikes is so much fun...until the end when I am just ready to be done. There's a lot of jumping in that one.

I'm kind of braindead so I am going to work on my taxes and call it a night.

Anybody of you guys haven't done Supercuts? Well I did it for the first time this am! It was so much fun except that plank work & you have to do arm raise! Ouch! I was laughing at the end where u do sit ups/push ups! So I repeat that section again!
