XTrain 90 Day Undulating Rotation

Great job! It is craziness absolute georgeous craziness! Doing good! Keep going! Whats for tomorrow?

Thanks!! Tomorrow is burn sets bi's and tri's; going to try and up my weight from last week's round. I actually skipped my rest day which was supposed to be yesterday 'cause I'm going to be gone all weekend with zero access to Cathe, so after tomorrow I'll pick up my workouts again on Monday. Thanks again!

Today was Hard Strikes for me and my chest and shoulders are still talking to me from Burn Sets. i just had to laugh when you had to do the double time jabs. It was tough! I added 4DS High Impact Step for fun today. I just love that one!

Renee yes I did change my diet. I'm going a little extreme right now and I'm doing the Whole30. It's really changing the way I think about food. Today was a little tough though I have some major munchies! Hope you feel better!

Does anyone know were you can get a good price on weights? I like the plain metal hex ones and I need some heavier ones.

Almost done with week 2. Did Legs today and always glad to get that 80 minute workout done. Just Hard Strikes tomorrow, and All Out HiiT. Feeling great so far, and not as exhausted as I sometimes am from rotations. I don't know if it's because there's a nice balance of shorter workouts sandwiching the longer workouts.

Pace Weights! I saw on another Cathe forum some mention of them, so I googled it and got them. For $50, which included shipping, I got 4.5 lbs of them, and I LOVE them. I've always been frustrated with the jump in weights from 5 lbs to 8 lbs, or 15 to 20. This is the perfect solution, I wish I had found them earlier. This morning when I was doing rear delts, five pounds got too heavy, but three pounds, too light. Pace weights made my three pound weight four pounds -- perfect. Greatest thing since sliced bread!

hi all!

quick post before i head out the door. did all out low impact hiit extreme cardio version:eek:-- legs were tired and sore! also did core 1 and did the 100 rep challenge for scarecrows with 5 lbs-- really felt that today, too!

so grateful for a rest day tomorrow!

Hello all :)

Checking in with HS-premix 16 :) Used my gloves which I really enjoyed. Did look as cool as the crew tho.....lol
When doing the stretching sweat was just dripping had to keep eyes closed. :)

I'm doing legs tomorrow to give my legs a break, and also no workout yesterday.

Greetings,

Happy Friday!

Still nursing my toe, but I did workout today. I did the first part of Hard Strikes and added on some of Atletica by another instructor. I worked out for about an hour and burned 425 calories. I kept it low impact, no bouncing around for me today.

I did legs disk 5 ? I think that was the disk num. I then added 18 minute premix of tabatisize for good measure. Tomorrow is bi n tris burn sets. I think ill walk tomorrow to or jog. Not sure really. Tired today had to shop clean then shower bath dog and get ready for bible study. Sorry this is so short.! I see we r all hanging in there!

Katied how was the extreme? I am afraid if i do extemes the parts repeated will make me bored.. So does it get boring or have a dread factor?

Yesterday was bi's and tri's burnsets, loved it! My right arm gave out before my left which has never happened to me before. Woke up kind of tired but I need to find the energy to get my 80 minutes legs done!

I start week 3 tomorrow too Jann! Really love the DOMS and program so far! I did switch the Hard Strikes cardio this week to Cardio Core Circuit. I've never done that one before...WOW! That was a fun one, but tough!!!

I did 10k race this am, finished strong even though I haven't run that much but I think this rotation helps me a lot. I placed 2nd at my age division & 6th overall female & also beat my time last year yay!
This week will be my 3rd week as well. I'm tempted to do supercuts tomorrow that's the only one I haven't tried yet.

rest day for me today, but starting week 3 tomorrow, too:)

renee-- there was a teensy bit of dread factor for me initially, knowing that i would have to do the floor hiit all over again, but i forgot about it soon enough and it was a great sweat! my legs really felt fried, though, by the end-- i think they were still recovering from legs on wednesday.

buneknek-- great job on the race! that is fantastic! woo hoo!

hope your toe is still improving, eva!

swimming3-- love cardio core circuit, but have found that, of all of cathe's workouts, this is the one where i end up tweaking my knee:(. fun workout, though!

have a good night everyone! the winds have picked up so much here that i feel like dorothy in the wizard of oz! it's going to be highs in the subzeros tomorrow, too. i am ready for spring already!

Swimming3 wow u like cardio core circuit thing? Lol i did that one once and i dont mis it lol that is so hard! One day maybe ill b able to do it.

Wow!! Congratulations! That is awesome!

Greetings,
Buneknek, congratulations on your 2nd place finish! That's awesome!! You must have been thrilled, as it sounds like you went into the race with relatively modest expectations of yourself. :)

I did CBS today, the second time this week. I'm trying to keep working out while also laying off my toe. It's much better, so hopefully I can get back on track on Monday. I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow, maybe Low Impact Challenge or something totally different. I'm trying to stay away from exercises that have lunges or require jumping. I need to keep my foot flat and not bend my toes.

I bought some new sneakers today, so I'm kind of eager to give them a shot. I am always looking for the worlds cushiest shoe. I have problems with my feet and high impact, but don't want to give up the high impact. They are New Balance, which is what my podiatrists always recommends for me. I cannot remember the number, but they are in the 800 series. I'll report back once I try them because I know many of you are always on the lookout for a good shoe for high-impact.

katied, thanks for the well wishes. I am on the mend...

Renee, I hope you're feeling better...

Take care!
Eva
